Eins unserer Lieblingsrestaurants! Es schmeckt alles hervorragend, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und liebenswürdig. Wir kommen gerne öfter im Jahr vorbei, sei es Jahrestag, Geburtstag oder andere Anlässe. Klar kann es auch mal hektisch und laut werden, aber bei den vielen Besuchern, die gerne vorbeikommen, absolut verständlich. Definitiv eines der besten Lokale im Umkreis und zu nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier zum ersten Mal an einem Sonntag Abend. Eine wunderschöne alte Location (Fachwerk) mit einem tollen hessischen Charme. Die Bedienungen sind alle wunderbar freundliche und hilfsbereit, das Essen einfach nur Klasse zu einem fairen Preis!

Wir haben das EBBELSCHE im TV (mein Lokal,dein Lokal)gesehen und sind neugierig geworden . Wir haben meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert - und es war alles soooooo klasse ! Das Essen , Personal und Ambiente - alles hervorragend ! Diese supergemütliche Wirtschaft kann man nur empfehlen !!!

Ich kenne sie seid Eröffnung und kann mit voller Überzeugung sagen, ein tolles Team, absolut authentisches Ambiente, und das Essen ist immer Erstklassik, sie denken ständig darüber nach wie man für die Gäste den Besuch noch angenehmer machen kann. Wenn man dort ist, ist man unter Freunden.

Wir haben köstlich gegessen, der Service war nett und das Ambiente wunderschön! Ich war sehr zufrieden!

Ein schönes Lokal mit sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal und ausgesprochen leckerem Essen zu einem wirklich erschwinglichen Preis, insbesondere die Desserts! Wir saßen im Dachstübchen, das ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Ich hätte mir zu unseren Gerichten (Omas Hackbraten und Frankfurter Schnitzel) vielleicht ein paar Bratkartoffeln mehr gewünscht, aber der Rest war wunderbar, der Beilagensalat war frisch zubereitet und entsprechend knackig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden auf jeden Fall nochmal vorbeischauen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Als Deutscher mit hessischen Ahnen-Wurzeln fand dieses tolle Restaurant und musste hier unbedingt einmal mit meinem bayrischen Weib was ordentliches Essen gehen. :) Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Ein absolut zu empfehlendes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente, Urig, rustikal (aber gemütlich), mit nettem Personal und naja die hessisch kokalen Gerichte, due einem den Gaumen und Magen erfreuen. Vom leckeren puren oder gespritzten Äbbelwoi bis hin zum Kochkässchnitzel, aber such vegetarisches, gibt es hier für jeden etwas für zwischen die Zähne. Und wo ich hier gerade diese Rezension schreibe, habe ich direkt wieder das Bedürfnis, wieder einmal dort einzukehren. Aus bald.

Vorab, wir waren immer nur am Wochenende hier, möglicherweise ist es an Werktagen besser aber die Wartezeit hier ist eine Zumutung... 40 Min. bis man mal ein Getränk hat ist einfach zu lange. Wir waren hier meist zu Feierlichkeiten eingeladen und dementsprechend mit der ganzen Familie hier, inklusive Kleinkind (um ehrlich zu sein, wäre ich kein Gast gewesen, ich hätte nach dem zweiten Besuch aufgegeben). Nach dem 4. Besuch hier kann ich jetzt sagen, es hat sich nie verbessert. Sorry aber wir gehen oft zum Essen ins Lokal und auf das Hauptgericht (ohne Vorspeise) über eine Stunde zu warten ist nicht akzeptabel, wenn dann die Qualität der Speisen so durchschnittlich ist. Das Essen war wirklich nicht so schmackhaft, dass sich die Wartezeit rechtfertigt. Die Bestellung war dann auch nicht korrekt und einge Beilagen wurden vertauscht bzw. vergessen. Ich war jahrelang selbst im Service tätig, das Personal wirkt überfordert, ist zwar relativ freundlich aber wirkt nicht so als wäre die Zufriedenheit der Gäste für sie ausschlaggebend. Schade an sich ein schönes Lokal...

Ein sehr gemütliches Fachwerkhaus in dem man sich wohl fühlt. Tolles hessisches Essen, aufmerksamer Service, kaum Wartezeit. Ich persönlich kann es nur empfehlen. War nicht das letzte Mal dort. 👍🏻

Wir sind in ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Äppelwoi Lokal gekommen. Die Vor- Haupt- und Nachspeisen waren hervorragend. Sowohl für den kleinen Hunger, als auch den Großen, sind die Gerichte genau richtig abgestimmt. Das ganze Team war freundlich, und trotz vollem Haus, mussten wir nicht lange auf Getränke und Speisen warten. Wir haben uns im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, köstlich Unterhalten und hatten einen schönen, entspannten Abend. Vielen Dank auch für das Ausfüllen meiner kulinarischen Lücke, das Mispelchen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Und da ich kein Auto mehr fahren musste, gab es auch noch eins zum Abschied. Ich, und auch meine Freunde, können das Ebbelsche nur empfehlen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder, liebe Grüße an die Chefin Geli, und ihr ganzes Team, Eddy und Freunde :-)

Habe es bei Mein Lokal, dein Lokal gesehen. Online Reserviert, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr nette Chefin und Personal. Vor,-Haupt, und Nachspeise Absolut Top. Preise sind fair und ist auf jeden fall einen Ausflug wert.

Jetzt zum 3.mal hier gewesen. Einmal mit Freundinnen, recht chaotisch. Aber auch da haben alle Sonderwünsche geklappt. Dann zu einem runden Geburtstag mit Buffet. Auch das war sehr lecker und schön gemacht. Wir hatten das ganze Lokal für uns mit DJ und konnten sogar tanzen. Jetzt mit gemischter Gruppe und Hund hier gewesen. Es gab Hessenschnitzel, Zwiebelschnitzel, Chillihandkäse, Wurstsalat, Frankfurter Schnitzel, Putengeschnetzeltes, Kartoffelsuppe, beschwipstes Schokoeis. Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Essen. Geschmack, Menge und Wartezeit waren perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und umsichtig genauso wie die Chefin selbst. Einziger Nachteil für mich: Die Toiletten sind im oberen Stockwerk und die Treppe ist steil. Wir kommen alle gerne wieder 😋🙋🏻‍♀️

Ein uriges Restaurant. Service ist freundlich und passt sozusagen zum Ambiente. Die Küche ist im Grunde gut. Aber ich kann dennoch nur 3 Sterne vergeben, weil das Schnitzel Wiener Art in der Friteuse zubereitet wurde, was man leicht erkennen kann. War zwar ok, aber Friteuse ist für mich ein NoGo!

Wir hatten am Samstag vor einer Woche, das Geburtstagsessen nachgeholt. Das Ambiente war gemütlich, das Essen (Hirschgulasch + Omas Hackbraten) mit 3 Gängen sehr lecker und die Bedienung Monika war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Tolles Lokal. Wir sind durch eine TV-Sendung darauf aufmerksam geworden. Es ist dort sehr gemütlich. Wir haben drei Gänge gegessen, so gut hat es uns geschmeckt. Gutes Handwerk in der Küche! Es gab auch eine Wochenkarte. Das Hirschgulasch und der Nachtisch aus dieser waren wirklich atemberaubend, der Rest aber auch. Die Portionen haben eine ideale Größe und die Speisen wurden heiß angerichtet. Der Service war top: Schnell, freundlich, bezaubernd. Danke an die liebe Bedienung Monika (Monica?). Sie ist die beste Bedienung, die wir je erlebt haben! Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon heute darauf!

We went to Ebbelche today and were very satisfied; everything was perfect. The service was very friendly, it was a lovely experience.

Everything was absolutely delicious, the green sauce was divine, and that in November! The grilled chicken with Kochkäse dip and homemade coleslaw was flawlessly enjoyed in a stylish setting on the second floor. Thank you so much!

Solid, home-style cooking at fair prices. Nice, generous portions – you'll leave satisfied, even as a vegetarian. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is the limited selection of non-alcoholic drinks. They could definitely offer more.

We always enjoy coming back; the restaurant is cozy and lovingly decorated. The food is delicious and attractively presented. The staff is friendly. All in all, a well-deserved 5 stars. Reservations are recommended.

If you want truly delicious Hessian food, with the warm welcome that goes with it, this is the place for you. Great food, great team, great guests. If it's busy, expect to wait. The kitchen does its best.

I haven't had such delicious food in a long time. The service was also very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

You can even get a seat here without a reservation. The service is fast, attentive, and businesslike. They have four varieties of apple wine. I only tried the house wine and found it very good. We'll definitely try the other varieties later.

Today we ate here again, and as always, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, simply outstanding! We'd especially like to commend the young lady who served us so friendly and attentively. The boss can truly count herself lucky to have such friendly and dedicated staff. One thing is for sure: We'll definitely be back and will happily become regulars.

This is my fourth time there, and it's always been excellent. The highlight is the very friendly service staff; they're not above making a joke. The food is traditional, regional, authentic, and delicious. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed sitting outside to eat dinner. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We enjoyed the Kochkas Schnitzel, Omas Hartbraten, and Apple Wine. This was our favorite meal that we had in Germany.

A great restaurant 😃👍 Nothing to complain about here! The food is good, down-to-earth, Hessian cuisine. The schnitzels are still cooked in a pan (!), the portions aren't small (they even have a senior citizen's portion 👍), the salad dressing is homemade and delicious with lots of herbs (where can you find that these days??). The service is very attentive and friendly! This quaint restaurant with its beautiful half-timbered walls has a cozy atmosphere, and the building itself looks very beautiful from the outside. In summer, you can also sit outside. The prices are reasonable, not too expensive. Reservations are recommended! I really enjoy coming here and can highly recommend it 👍

Excellent Hessian cuisine in a beautiful, rustic half-timbered house with a pleasant outdoor area. Service was also excellent, friendly and prompt. It certainly won't be the last time we're there.

Cozy, delicious and good service.

At first glance, the restaurant appears very quaint and rather unattractive. Despite the small windows, the interior is bright and inviting thanks to good lighting. The decor is rustic, yet harmoniously fits the overall concept and matches both the menu and the exterior appearance of the restaurant. The restaurant's culinary offerings are impressive: the dishes taste excellent. There are only a few points of criticism – such as the ice cream, which had a crystalline consistency regardless of the flavor (chocolate or vanilla). The schnitzels and all the portions in general are generous; anyone choosing a three-course meal will definitely be satisfied. The Oreo chocolate cake is particularly noteworthy: pleasantly creamy and not too sweet. The service is friendly and attentive, but a bit slow when clearing up. Servers often returned with empty trays after serving, even though there were still numerous empty glasses and plates on the table.

Follow-up visit: After a positive first visit, we were not disappointed again several months later! Reservations weren't a disadvantage because the restaurant was busy. Very friendly and relaxed service, and the food arrived quickly, which again tasted very good. This time, a burger with warm cheese over a pie crust. Keep up the good work, and we'll be back! A parking space can be found, among other places, on the main road a little further towards Offental. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our first visit to Ebbelsche was recommended by a local colleague. A quaint restaurant with lots of half-timbered buildings. The entire service team was in a really good mood and exuded good cheer. The chosen meal (including Grandma's meatloaf) arrived quickly and fully met our expectations. A reservation had been made in advance for our visit, which made sense given a local event with several guests. However, due to the large number of guests (especially women near the bar), it got quite loud in our surroundings. What remained was a positive evening, so a future visit is quite possible.

Yes, I can recommend this cozy, rustic apple wine bar with typical Hessian cuisine. A half-timbered house, furnished with lots of dark wood, friendly and quick service, even when it's full and of course very good food. Reservation is recommended. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. Parking on surrounding streets.

A very nice Äppelweinlockal in a half-timbered house with a beer garden. The food and the service were great👍We had boiled cheese schnitzel with fried potatoes, highly recommended and large portions. Unfortunately the chicken was already out, but it should also taste very good. We'll be back.

Was in this beautiful restaurant today and can only say good things. Food embodies very good German cuisine. Drinks are Hessian style and therefore very digestible. The staff is very nice and the service is very friendly. In this beautiful half-timbered house you can even do sports by climbing stairs. The needs of the guest are taken into account here, I can highly recommend this restaurant in Rödermark to everyone.

Sorry - wasn't happy... The food was already better.

The food and service were good. The restaurant itself is also nicely decorated, but was busy during our visit and therefore quite loud. The selection of dishes is based heavily on Hessian home cooking, which I found interesting overall. Parking spaces are available in the surrounding streets and in a nearby parking garage. Although card payment is offered, no credit cards are accepted. That's a hindrance. The sanitary facilities are located on one of the upper floors and can only be reached via stairs. You can't complain about the facilities and hygiene. All in all, a visit is recommended if you want to do something outside the mainstream menu.

Really great. We were there with the theater group. I had the vegan baked potato and it was really delicious. So delicious that she didn't live to take a photo. 😅 The service was quick and friendly. We felt completely comfortable. 💚

Excellent service, fast and very friendly service as well as tasty dishes with a Hessian touch. You don't have to ask for salt and pepper shakers or caraway seeds, it's already on the table. We'll be back.

Very cozy, family restaurant in the heart of Urberach. You have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's worth the wait. Every now and then someone from the team comes by and checks whether everything is okay. Price/performance is also completely OK

This is such a cool shop with the best service staff that we have experienced with our regulars in a long time. The food is delicious and the portions are filling. The atmosphere outside is good and relaxed. I can highly recommend!

Food simply tastes phenomenal! :-) I always take the Handkäs in a mason jar and an Emma (pink apple cider). I can only recommend! The beer garden is very nice and the service staff are very nice and competent!

A nice restaurant with Hessian dishes. A place that invites you to linger. Table reservation only is an absolute must. Menu manageable but delicious. 4 stars 🌟 because it can always be better. But here it's damn close. I can recommend it.

a cider bar like I want :-). We didn't have a reservation and were lucky that there was still a spot available. Service is really friendly and accommodating. We had the salad with Camembert and the cheese spaetzle. Portion size is generous and, more importantly, delicious. For example, the onion rings on the cheese spaetzle are carefully made and therefore taste fresh and crispy. As a vegetarian you will also get your money's worth here. If you make a reservation and a few days' notice, you can even make special requests such as a vegetarian schnitzel. We're looking forward to that. We were impressed by the quality and service and we will be back.

One of the best cooked cheese schnitzels eaten there...the Äppler is also delicious and tasty. The service does a great job and really wants to fulfill all your wishes... in the summer you sit outside, you forget about the main street when the first rib is filled, but it's also very cozy inside... a great location with great food ...

The food is super tasty and the price/performance ratio is right. I especially love the various schnitzel dishes, the Ebbelsche burger is also brilliant. Warm atmosphere, friendly service, a good menu... from Handkäs with music to Äppler, there is something for every taste. Compliments, I spontaneously felt very comfortable. The Ebbelsche is a very nice restaurant with regional food and drinks. Everything is lovingly prepared and served hot. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any questions. The toilet is on the first floor, a bit difficult for people with disabilities. I really enjoyed the evening at Ebbelsche, 5 stars from me.

Small, cozy Hessian restaurant. Great apple cider! A 'MUST' for tasting lovers! Schnitzel dishes 18 euros Tip top! Side salad is a pleasure, not a one size fits all! There is a deduction of 16 euros for the half roasted rooster, unfortunately it was a real disappointment that this eagle was cold and warmed up and was not freshly fried. This can be done better! Service was extremely friendly and always asked if anything was missing. That's why 4.0 points from me, because it's a good restaurant, but the chicken could really be better.

Food was super tasty. The waitresses were super friendly and nice. Price performance was more than appropriate. The ambience was rustic but it fit. The only drawback might be that you have to bring some time with you because the food took an hour after ordering. So just bring some time and enjoy delicious, fresh food.

We regularly eat and drink at Ebbelsche and can thoroughly recommend it. Great service and top quality food and drink.
