Quite a nice restaurant in a central location in Würzburg. The food is nothing special, but edible. Pretty good wine selection.

It used to be a very good Italian restaurant, unfortunately that's no longer the case: the beer was very poorly limited (I've never experienced that before except at the Oktoberfest), and unfortunately there were no vegetables left with the saltimbocca (which overall tasted acceptable). (But that couldn't have been due to too many customers, there were just four other people in the restaurant), the pizza had a third dry crust, half of which was burnt and the service was quite unfriendly and definitely too short (if... If there are no vegetables, you would like to be able to at least think for a moment whether you would like to have a salad dressed up or maybe you would prefer to order something else). Therefore unfortunately not recommended and we won't be seeing you again anytime soon.

Went there for the first time today with a friend and it was very disappointing. We had reserved a table, after a short time the waitress came (still friendly at the time) and asked what we wanted to drink, we ordered and the drinks came, a little later than expected. But unfortunately she was alone, which is why we overlooked it. Then she came back and asked what we wanted to eat. And exactly after this order nothing worked anymore. My friend got a burger even though a salad was ordered, which was then returned. My burger was almost cold and the wrong one, the fries were cold, after about 20 minutes the waitress said her burger was coming soon. She said I still ordered a salad, which came 10 minutes later, i.e. 30 minutes after my meal. The bread with the salad wasn't baked through and wasn't even remotely crispy, which is why I didn't eat it. We were already pissed off because since she was always with other guests I couldn't say that it was the wrong food. Then I ate it because I was hungry. I was almost finished eating, then came the ketchup and mayonaise as a dip. When the waitress asked if it was tasty, I answered with a clear NO, she laughed at it and I emphasized that I was serious. We explained to her what wasn't right. Then she said we should have said something. But what if she was always with others? My friend has been serving for 21 years and had never experienced this. She also said this to the waitress, who then apparently felt attacked. You quickly noticed that she wanted to get away from our place. We got 2 drinks off as an apology. But our criticism was not accepted. We are no longer visiting this location due to the circumstances that have happened to us. I cannot recommend wrong and cold food at overpriced prices with unreasonable service.

I was there with my son and had made a reservation in the leafy backyard. The young waiter was really nice, courteous but not intrusive, so great. For starters we had grilled duck hearts and vitello tonato. Duck hearts were very good, with a red wine reduction, simply placed on fresh ruccola. The presentation could have been a little nicer, but it's okay. Vitello Tonato was sliced ​​far too thin, like Carpacchio. It also came across as a bit dry, unfortunately instead of homemade anchovy/caper mayonnaise, only simple mayonnaise was slapped onto each thin slice of meat. Also just placed on a bed of arugula. No small tomato as a garnish, no caper apple on top, very bland, so the same bland plate language as with the duck hearts. For the main course I had fresh, really good prawns and fresh squid rings, not surprisingly placed on rocket again. But there was a lemon there. I understand the typical Italian purist style of serving, but a little more effort wouldn't be a bad thing. The pasta with monkfish cheeks was unfortunately very tasteless. You just eat and unfortunately forget about it after 2 minutes. The Italian taste was simply missing. Dessert was a mixed cheese plate. The cheese selection and the quality and taste were great. Unfortunately the cook left small olives in the middle of the plate. They were also very good, but he didn't put any effort or thought into getting the olives out of the jar, the plate was floating with the olive broth, i.e. dark olive water. Of course, this all ended up in the various pieces of cheese, which ruined the really good taste of the cheese. Unfortunately it fits with the careless presentation of the dishes previously served. What annoyed me most, however, was that in addition to the small menu, there was also a blackboard with daily specials. When I looked at them in the restaurant, the owner immediately shouted "there was nothing left on the daily menu today." But we were already at the restaurant at 6 p.m. But I still accepted it without criticism - that could be the case. However, there was an older couple sitting next to us and the boss quickly sprinted up to them (apparently regulars) and kindly offered them firstly "rabbit ragout" and secondly "mussels". So there were certainly daily specials, but apparently not everyone gets them. But that's not possible, so I'll definitely never go there again. The two of us had a bill of 98.50 including wine and food, I also gave the nice young waiter 110 euros, he couldn't do anything about it. I don't know from which mine you can choose something from the daily menu. I wish the unsympathetic boss that his “regulars” stay with him for a long time. He doesn't seem to be keen on new guests.

sehr urige und typisch bayrische Gaststätte! Leckeres Essen und gute Biere in einem sehr urigen Ambiente! Früher hätte man einfach "gut Bürgerlich" dazu gesagt. Schöne "Bierterrasse" mit herrlichem Blick über den Chiemsee. Wenn´s Wetter passt, traumhaft schöner Sonnenuntergang über dem See.
