We felt very comfortable. Very nice, delicious breakfast, everything your heart desires. Good with the underground car park, everyone is very friendly and you can make yourself a packed lunch for the hike

A flashback to the 80th. But good food and nice service

This 4* hotel has a large terrace in a top location. We went to the cheese festival in Oberstdorf and were able to enjoy our place in the sun to the fullest. Yes, the prices are high, but everyone wants to make more money and everything is becoming more expensive. It is completely legitimate to pass on these prices to guests. If the price for half is too expensive for you, just drink and enjoy one... It was very good service and the iced coffee was also great 👍🏻

We only know this hotel for coffee time and something to eat, but it is very cozy and the waitresses are very nice and polite

Oberstdorf is always beautiful. Great ski areas and everything is just right at the Hotel Mohren. This is vacation.

What a beautiful house! You can still feel the history of the place here; the Hotel Mohren isn't a newly built hotel, but rather a boutique-style, family-run establishment, with a grand hotel. The location, right on the town's market square, with mountain views from the rooms and terrace, is magnificent. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, in keeping with the theme of the hotel. There are also brand new rooms. We had an excellent meal in the attached restaurant. A beautiful place for a few days of relaxation, leisure, hiking, shopping, and enjoying the beautiful town of Oberstdorf. Many thanks to the Brandt family and the dedicated staff!

Totally central, very friendly and helpful reception. The car is parked in the underground garage, and the rooms are comparatively large. The location is prime.

Rating for restaurant: The Mohren combines an elegant ambience with a touch of nostalgia - particularly popular with an older audience 👴🏼🍷 The food tastes absolutely great, but the prices are also high 🙌🏼💸 The service is first class and very accommodating 💯 Definitely a good address for special occasions! 🎉

Right in the pedestrian zone of Oberstdorf. The hotel is getting old and needs to be fundamentally renovated. The rooms under the attic cannot be warmed up using the heating system. Elevator not sufficient for the size of the hotel. The soap dispensers throughout the hotel are old and don't look very hygienic. The breakfast was very adequate. For a four star hotel I would expect more in detail.

Cozy restaurant with good food!

We were really looking forward to a wonderful New Year's Eve with a gala dinner. Table very nice and attractively decorated. For the second course, my plate was probably the last to come out of the kitchen, the bread was missing, the decorations and the roast beef was only partially present. The musical entertainment was quite good, unfortunately so loud that the waiters had difficulty making themselves understood and the people sitting next to them could only carry on conversations at a high volume. Which resulted in the noise level becoming unbearable. The food was good but for fine dining at this price of €169 without drinks there was a lack of creativity in the presentation. The eye is with and zero eight fifteen white Metro dishes with paper lace doilies should be a no-go for a 4 star restaurant. Other restaurants in Oberstdorf with fine cuisine offer more to the eye. So everything is very disappointing.

The rating refers exclusively to the New Year's Eve Gala 2024 ❗️ > Very positive The menu was really delicious. > Positive - The service at our table was friendly and initially very attentive. - The midnight buffet was good. > Works like this - The greeting in the hotel lobby with a glass of champagne and the subsequent entry was a bit impersonal. We were guests for the first time and would have liked a little more approach. - When serving the individual courses it was disorganized several times. I waited (at a table of three) for my starter for almost 2 minutes, while my companion and other tables had already started. - There was no sign of GALA. A slightly more elaborately folded napkin and gold-colored plastic plates on the tables - the GALA decoration was ready! > Unsatisfactory - The band mostly had really great songs in the setlist - but the sound quality was unfortunately poor, sometimes much too loud and not at all adapted to the room conditions. When the band played during the courses, we (and also guests at neighboring tables) were happy when there was a break and canned music played... - In the “second half” of the evening, we had to wait several times longer until our waitress was back at the table to serve drinks. Overall, the price of €169 per person for 1 glass of sparkling wine, menu and midnight snack (for us) is not justified.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff is very, very nice. The breakfast was rich, with a large selection and freshly prepared. The location couldn't be better as it's right in the center. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and the room was made available to us in two minutes with minimal intervention. Definitely a clear recommendation for this hotel.

We spent a wonderful week in the hotel. The reception was very friendly and absolutely professional. The next day we asked whether everything was OK and whether we had any wishes or problems. Our requests were responded to immediately. The sauna was turned on at any time upon request. Also very clean and tidy. The breakfast is absolutely top and deserves special praise for its home-pickled salmon, great bakery rolls and regional products. It's very rare to find an offer like this. The whole team is caring and fulfills all wishes as far as possible. The snack option to take away is also very good and recommended. We were absolutely satisfied and happy from the beginning to the end of the week. We also really enjoyed the introduction of the employees in the hotel team in the daily post for breakfast. In this way, these are brought into focus. Overall, we can only congratulate the management of the house on having such a great team. We will definitely come to Moor again. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Very nice and friendly staff. The rooms are simply TOP and the restaurant in the hotel is simply delicious. LOCATED RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE HEART OF OBERSDORF! There was something really nice as a birthday present for me - but that remains a secret. The wine cellar is something very special and definitely WORTH a visit!

Perfect location right in the center, everything within walking distance. Rooms well equipped, if you're lucky with great views of the mountains. Very attentive service at check-in, at breakfast and at all other points in the house. Diverse and changing breakfast buffet. You can tell that the operating family thinks about what the guests' needs are. In some places in the house you can see that it is no longer completely new. Based on the plus points listed above, a clear recommendation!

Great location in the middle of town, delicious food and renovated room

Hotel in a beautiful location right in the center of Obersdorf. Friendly welcome from courteous staff at reception. The disadvantage is the soft mattress, which makes it difficult to sleep well and back pain is inevitable. The lighting in the bathroom was partially broken. Repair is impossible. Breakfast excellent.

Die Wildwochen sind sehr empfehlenswert. Bei der Auswahl, war es nicht leicht sich zu entscheiden. Das Wildgulasch war ausgezeichnet.

Wir waren zur Genussreise. War super lecker - sowohl das Essen als auch die Weine. Auch der Service war hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed at Mohren for 2 nights. I can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Rooms clean and quiet. If you want to travel a lot with the mountain railways, you can save a lot here! The car is even driven into the underground car park and brought back... and the Kässpatzen were really very tasty. Service was friendly and quick.

Soeben Lammhüfte und Lachs gegessen! Es war hervorragend. Geschmacklich hervorragend, Portionen zum satt werden dazu sehr netter Service! Prima und beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder!

Die Käsespätzle und der Beilagensalat waren sehr köstlich. Schön, dass man die Portionsgröße variieren kann. Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam.

Like every year, we sit at the Mohren every afternoon after hiking. The only thing is...beer and wine could be a little cooler.. Conditions simply friendly and top and the food too...

We stayed at the Hotel Mohren for 2 nights and are very satisfied. The house and the furnishings are a bit old, but that's not an issue at all due to the very good service. Thank you for the good time.

We were only here on a sunny day for an ice cream café on the terrace. It was all very tasty.

The organic restaurant offered an appealing atmosphere and inviting ambience. The roast was deliciously prepared and had a satisfying taste. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience that I would happily recommend.

Klassiek ietwat gedateerd hotel-restaurant waar je echter prima kunt eten. Mooie regionale gerechten, ruime wijnkaart, top service en je kunt gewoon pinnen (das niet overal zo in Oberstdorf…)

Wir gehen gerne ins Hotel Mohren in Oberstdorf zum Essen. Der Service ist freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend und äusserst Kompetent. Die Karte bietet regionale Köstlichkeiten (Gans, Schnitzle, Schweinebraten etc), die uneingeschränkt vorzüglich munden. Die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm und gediegen. Trotz der gehobenen Preise ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis fabelhaft. Weiter so! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren als Paar dort essen und hatten einen kleinen Hund dabei. Uns wurde ein ruhiger Tisch in sehr guter Lage im Restaurant zugewiesen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Hund hat ein Schälchen Wasser bekommen. Das Essen, Kalbsbäckchen und ein Burger, kamen sehr schön präsentiert und waren einfach köstlich. Dazu gab es einen köstlichen Wein und anscheinend ein hervorragendes Dessert. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner und leckerer Abend.

Zu Gast im Hotel Mohren vom 10. bis 14. Dezember 2023. Alleinreisend. Ich musste ein paar Tage ausspannen. Sehr auffallend: das freundliche Personal; ob Rezeption, Frühstück oder Abendessen, immer äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels in der Dorfmitte von Oberstdorf ist ideal für alle Unternehmungen. Zum wandern, zum Einkaufen, zur Nebelhorn-Bahn. Alles fussläufig durch das schöne Oberstdorf zu erreichen. Frühstück: Gutes Frühstücksbuffet; keine Wünsche offen. Abendessen: Gute Speisekarte; für jeden was dabei. Preise: moderat, was man sonst heute so erlebt. Tiefgarage: sehr praktisch, Preis ok. Zimmer: Badezimmer im Zimmer hat mir nicht zu 10 Prozent gefallen; Balkon zum Marktplatz hin sehr schön. Preis: jetzt, in der Nebensaison attraktiv. Was sich zu Weihnachten massiv ändert. Ich beabsichtige wieder zu kommen!

Wir waren dort in Urlaub und haben dort nur Kaffee getrunken.Super Service netter Kellner.

Die Lage ist 1a, man kann Leute beim flanieren sehen. Die Terasse ist super. Haben einen Cappiccino getrunken. Ich empfand ihn sehr verwässert und der beiliegende Keks war alt. Vom schönen Teller wird man bekanntlich nicht satt, aber in einem Cafe am Platze mit einem bunt bedruckten Pott, passt mein Ansicht nicht in das ild eines so schönen Cafes. Der Kellner war sehr nett, zuvorkommend.

Sehr schöne Speisenauswahl, lecker und stilvoll, das Ganze gepaart mit professionellem sympathischen Service - ausgezeicnet !!!! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Gehobene Gastlichkeit in gemütlich, stilvollem Ambiente. Wir kommen seit Jahren in das Restaurant Mohren und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Die Speisekarte enthält viele Klassiker, die in guter Qualität auf den Tisch kommen. Hervorzuheben sind: Wiener Schnitzel Original vom Kalb (gibt es in vielen Lokalen in Oberstdorf seit neuestem nicht mehr vom Kalb) Freitags: Forelle Müllerin, zart zubereitet. Highlight: Crêpe Suzette, Grand Manier wird am Tisch flambiert, Sauce hat einen herrlichen Bitterorangengeschmack. Angenehm: manche Gerichte gibt es auch als kleinere Portion. Abgerundet wird dies durch einen professionellen und freundlichen Service.
