Golf Cafe Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf

The waiter was already in a bad mood and made condescending remarks when we ordered drinks. The food took a very long time and didn't match the menu description – the herb spaetzle arrived without any herbs, and the waiter's inquiry to the kitchen was forgotten. And all this despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty – not even half the tables were occupied, and it was relatively early in the evening. Overall, the food was disappointing, just as it had been during a previous visit some time ago. We were also disappointed the day before at Wildes Männle...

I've eaten here twice while hiking. Both times I was very satisfied. The food was delicious. Especially for someone from northern Germany, I've finally discovered a truly excellent Obazda.

The family that owns the place is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk through the town in the evenings, and all kinds of restaurants are within walking distance, and everything else is within easy walking distance. I can also only rate the personal contact beforehand as absolutely positive. We spent a wonderful weekend there and look forward to more. Thank you so much ❤️

A family-run, rustic inn with excellent food and perfectly presented drinks (Augustiner beer served in pre-chilled glasses, etc.). The rooms are very clean and simply furnished. The Bauer family goes to great lengths to fulfill all their guests' wishes. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive at the balanced and extensive breakfast buffet. The owner refills the coffee herself and makes sure her guests are comfortable. We would love to come back!

More expensive, but a very nice stay.
