Great Kässpätzle for a great price. I haven't gotten better cheese pätzle in many more expensive restaurants. A nice change from all the kebab on Mühlstrasse.

Während unseres Aufenthalts im Hotel La Casa besuchten wir das Restaurant Refugio und konnten bei gutem Wetter auf der kleinen mediterran geprägtenTerrasse sitzen. Das Personal ist bestens geschult und umsorgend. Alles war sehr frisch und appetitlich zubereitet. Allein dieses Restaurant wäre einen Besuch in Tübingen wert.

I've read in several reviews that the decor isn't modern or chic enough, but that's exactly what we think makes for a successful mix - fine dining without the feeling of having to dress up.

The food at this Thai restaurant was truly spectacular! The dish I chose in particular – duck with noodles – was an absolute highlight. The duck was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The pasta was ideally cooked and served with a sauce that had a perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavors. Every forkful was a delight, and the combination of spices enchanted my taste buds. The service was excellent, the atmosphere inviting, and the quality of the food impressive. This restaurant is an absolute must for any Thai food lover!

Everyone knows the living room in Tübingen. But the Arabian treasure is almost right next to it and for me it's a whole lot better in terms of performance. Only recommended

The homemade dishes are delicious! 👌🏼😃 The men are very hospitable. But one woman was really strange! She didn't want to sell ice cream (as dessert) and I had to go to the gas station and buy ice cream there!! I didn't like that!!🫤 Still, without a doubt, 5 stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

As natives of Tübingen who haven't lived here for a long time, we returned to the "Waldhörnle" (formerly run by the Schilling family) after many years. The reception was friendly and the interior still exudes a dignified, cozy atmosphere. While most guests seemed to enjoy the pub menu (the onion roast seemed to be a highlight), we opted for the gourmet menu with wine accompaniment. The following were served: marinated fjord trout with tiger's milk, chili oil and vegetable garden, kohlrabi foam soup with poultry gyoza, turbot slice with ricotta and chard balls, spinach, celery ragout and nut butter foam as well as saddle of venison with a nut crust, blueberries, wild mushrooms and curd cheese buttons. The menu was rounded off with a variation of caramel and apple. Turbot and saddle of venison were outstanding, the other dishes were presented with excellent craftsmanship, but they lacked the last bit of sophistication in the interplay of flavors and textures. Unfortunately, the wine accompaniment was not completely convincing. Service was attentive, but somewhat understaffed given the volume of guests, making superior service quality difficult to achieve. Overall, we were very satisfied, but would prefer the pub menu on our next visit as it seemed to us to be the best choice in terms of price and performance.
