Tübingen. A city of poets and thinkers since time immemorial. At "ct," the smallest restaurant in this venerable university town, a law of nature is confirmed: "Only from small things can something great arise." At "ct," professorial dignitaries and doctoral holders rub shoulders, engaging all visitors in a communal discourse that is both lively and even humorous. The results are not only a source of inspiration; they offer forward-looking solutions to the issues of our time. In culinary terms, "ct" is (still) considered an insider tip. Here, they offer a beer from the small private brewery in Ummendorf, where the master brewer himself lends a hand and fine-tunes the hop composition with each brewing process. The food selection at "ct" is limited but close to perfection. The freshly prepared Maultaschen (swabian pasta) harmonize with the exquisite wine selection and provide an excellent taste intermezzo on the guest's palate, which culminates in the carefully selected digestifs. Delicious! The "ct" also offers a lot culturally. The city's best virtuosos regularly perform at the "ct." It takes a bit of luck, but every now and then they unpack their instruments. The spontaneous jam sessions have long since achieved cult status. The live music at the annual summer festival is always a musical delight. The trained service staff deserves special mention. Attentive and with open friendliness, they anticipate every guest's every wish. All around, the "ct" is a place for human bliss, inspiring body, soul, and spirit. The "ct" – cum tempore – the only drawback is the limited opening hours: unfortunately, only Thursday and Friday evenings. Otherwise, the saying goes, as Friedrich Hölderlin once said: "Where else but here?"

The Maultaschen are excellent, and the Landjäger sausage and cheese cubes are perfect with beer. Ummendorfer beer is only available here in Tü. Ordering is easy at the bar. The ambiance is unbeatable. Karl Marx and a bookshelf in the "living room." The volunteer team of hosts makes this pub what it is. You have to visit at least once.

The fact that the acquisition and consumption of luxury goods with privately earned money (in this case, more likely: stolen from others through tax money and social benefits) goes against everything preached by the complete loser hanging on the wall here is, unsurprisingly, either completely ignored or actively denied by the "clientele" present here, who are further blundering their brains. Alcohol consumption is widespread among collectivists: physical weakness leads to addiction in every respect. COMMUNISM IS THE OPIUM OF THE PROLETARIAT!

Very cozy...it's nice that bars like the CT still exist.

Great little pub. Be careful about the opening times but the service is top! A big plus is the Ummendorfer beer and the Raffael

Very fun and definitely full of locals, as a foreigner it was a great night! Must try the Calvados

A small corner wine bar run by local folk, opened on a Thursday and Friday night. The place doesn't serve food apart from nibbles (and the ubiquitous Maultaschen in a broth), but guests are welcome to consume their own goodies on the premises.

Wunderbar gemütliche Atmosphäre

Diese kleine Eckkneipe ist sicherlich in Tübingen ziemlich einmalig. Alleine durch ihre Größe strahlt sie Gemütlichkeit aus. Ab und zu finden Vorträge oder Schallplattenabende statt. Hier treffen sich die Nachbarn aus der Weststadt zu einem Plausch und einem Viertele. Allerdings kommen auch Gästen aus anderen Stadtteilen. Die Besitzer, Wolfgang und Gunnar, betreiben das Kneiple als Hobby und sind nicht am Kommerz interessiert. Deswegen auch die für vergleichbare Tübinger Lokalitäten moderaten Preise. Speisen außer einer kräftigen Maultaschensuppe gibt es nicht, können aber mitgebracht oder bei einem Pizzadienst bestellt werden. Für Neuzugezogene ist es der ideale Ort, den Kiez mit seinen Menschen kennen zu lernen.
