Taste was very bad. We ordered Chicken Tikka masala. The chicken pieces smelled and tasted spoiled

Food was very tasty especially the butter duck and butter chicken. The restaurant is furnished with a lot of love and is very pleasant to spend time there. The owner was also very friendly and asked how we liked the food

We order occasionally and it is always delicious. Unfortunately, recently the desired level of spiciness has been repeatedly confused, which makes it unbearable, especially for the person who actually wants "mild" and then gets "Indian hot". I really hope that things get better soon, otherwise we will have to order somewhere else.

After the driver arrives half an hour late, you are insulted by him because he cannot find the address. After he lied to me that he would wait 30 minutes (a little tip, with Uber you can see where the driver is) he refused to give out the food. Would give 0.

Delivery took over two hours. Two out of four dishes were wrong. But what we ate tasted very good. I might also stop by the restaurant. But definitely won't be ordering again.

Positive: The staff was very nice and attentive. Negative: Unfortunately, the food was a little oversalted and otherwise didn't really have much taste. It wasn't inedible, but I've had much better Indian food, including in Tübingen. Even though a lot of effort was put into renovating the front area, the outside area and the toilets look very run down and still have the style of an old smoking bar... Unfortunately not particularly inviting. Conclusion: Not a catastrophe, but unfortunately I probably won't come back anyway.

Very tasty, authentic Indian food. For me the best in Tübingen and the surrounding area. The service staff are super friendly and accommodating. In summer there is a beautiful garden/backyard for sitting outside. I have been happy to come back for several years. I even feel like the food is getting better and better!

Delicious food, sometimes rather mild. There should be something for everyone! You can also have something picked up/delivered relatively late.

Unfortunately a failure. Food not good and not authentic at all. Poorly seasoned and the sauces all taste the same. The garlic naan was way too doughy. At least the delivery was very quick.

Very suitable for vegans! When I'm craving Indian food, this is my favorite place to go. It's always so delicious! Vegan dishes have their own column on the menu and there is a good selection. I like the decor and the service is quick and attentive. Only a slight deduction because I had problems ordering twice because the person barely spoke German and didn't speak English very well either.

The food was repeatedly delicious. Well seasoned and with an authentic range of spices. Good level of spiciness. Very suitable for the palate that likes it spicy and not “hot”. For me it would be nice to have more. However, that is my own preference. The food was at a good temperature when delivered and the portions were sufficient. Also for good eaters! However, the delivery service is in great need of improvement. This time too we had to wait 1 hour 50 minutes for our food. With all understanding there is also a lot of activity in the restaurant/orders. With a journey time of 7 minutes, there is still room for improvement. Still looking for improvements here and maybe. optimize the processes. Then it can become an all-round successful package.

Simple restaurant with very good food, beer garden

A good Indian restaurant in Tuebingen. I have visited it a few times and have also ordered food a few times. The service is very good. They adjust spice level from very mild to Indian spicy, so its good for everyone! It's definitely a recommended place in Tuebingen.

Ordered 3 extra meals without being spicy with a comment in the order and an extra call because it didn't work the 2nd time either. The third time it was exactly the same, only this topped everything - we waited over 1.5 hours for the food, which was spicy again. I called to give feedback. He said a new one without spicy would arrive in half an hour. After an hour I called, still no food there. The guy on the phone had no plan at all. I say that it's been over an hour now that I've been waiting for a replacement and he doesn't need to come anymore because I have to sleep early and don't need to eat anymore after a total of 3.5 hours after ordering. It was then 10:30 p.m. I wanted the money back for this dish only this guy on the phone didn't understand anything. He put me off and the driver would be there in 10 minutes. The driver came after 1.5 hours. There was no response to my request to get my money back. He kept saying the same driver would come in 10 minutes. He didn't even listen to me. We will definitely not be ordering anything else. Very unprofessional!

I was here for the first time yesterday with my husband and two friends. The food is very tasty and arrived quickly. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience. The waitress was very polite and not intrusive. We'd love to come back!

We ordered from Kohenoor for the first time today, the food arrived extremely quickly and stays warm in the aluminum containers for a long time if necessary. We tried 2 different dishes, naan, a soup and another starter. Everything was extremely tasty and the price is totally fair. We'll definitely be happy to order again :)

Indian restaurant without any special refinements. Relative expensive

There were 5 of us at Kohenoor for dinner on a Saturday evening. A reservation is recommended. The restaurant was well attended and beautifully decorated and prepared. We were served quickly and also received our mixed appetizer platter very quickly. The main courses were very tasty and very different, all of them were definitely “spicy”. We can recommend the Kohenoor.

Food served is not halat at all, we tried their vegetarian options. Taste is good, recommended

Sehr leckeres Essen, was Erinnerungen an einen Indienurlaub wach rief. Der indische Käse in scharfer Sauce war toll, ebenso das vegane Kartoffel-Blumenkohlgericht. Das Knoblauch-Naan war mit weniger Knoblauch (schade), aber auch weniger fettig (gut) als in Indien kennengelernt. Toll auch, daß es typische Getränke wie Kingfisher-Bier, Lassi, indischen Chai oder indischen Rum gibt!

Super freundliche Bedienung. Ich kann nur das Chicken Vindaloo mittel scharf menü empfehlen, mit der Linsensuppe und der Mangocreme. Noch nie habe ich eine so leckere linsensuppe gehabt und die Manhocreme hat eine überraschende zutat, die unfassbar gut passt.

Mit lieben Freunden dort gewesen das Essen war so lecker wir hatten direkt am Eingang den Tisch jedoch weiter hinten im Raum wäre es schöner gewesen da der Lieferando Dienst stets vorbei lief. Doch daran sieht man auch dass das Essen lecker ist und schmeckt wenn außer Haus geliefert wird.

We took a party catering from Kohenoor last week. Everybody enjoyed their food. It was really delicious. They even customized their menu based on our need. They are very kind to add new preparation ( e.g Malai Kofta) which is not in their regular menu. Very friendly and responsible stuff with excellent service. We loved the interaction with them. Very nice restaurant, very tasty Indian food.

Man wird von ganz nettem Personal empfangen und zu den Tischen geführt. Der Raum ist dezent geschmückt. Die Gerichte sind richtig lecker gut abgestimmt von den Gewürzen. Es gibt reichlich Auswahl. Naan, war sowas von lecker… Den Chai sollte man unbedingt probieren und warm trinken.

Das Restaurant bietet eine große Auswahl sowohl vegetarischer, als auch veganer Gerichte an. Die Gerichte überzeugen in Menge und Geschmack; auch die Schärfe ist gut dosiert. Weiterhin ist das Ambiente gemütlich, aber dennoch edel. Wünsche an den Service werden stets von diesem zügig erfüllt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ordentliches Indisches Restaurant. Vegane Gerichte sind Gut ausgeschriebene und es gibt einige vegane Haubtgerichte. Leider sieht es bei den Vorspeisen nicht so gut aus leider ist das Nan auch nicht vegan

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, leckeres Essen. Etwas teurer, aber der Preis lohnt sich :) Vor allem das butter chicken mit Naan Brot können wir empfehlen.

Hatten dort einen schönen Abend mit sehr gutem Essen, sehr freundlichem Service in entspannter Atmosphäre. Unserem Wunsch auf europäische Schärfe wurde perfekt nachgekommen, es war scharf aber mit einem Lassi dazu gut abgestimmt. Außerdem hat uns besonders die vegan/vegetarische Auswahl überzeugt :))

Von Aussen ein älteres Gebäude aber im Inneren mit einem großen Saal doch ansprechend. Der Service ist freundlich das Essen schmeckt gut. Parken kann sich etwas schwierig gestalten.

Die Bestellung über die eigene Homepage ist schnell und unkompliziert. Lieferzeit wurde an einem Freitagabend mit 60 Minuten berechnet. Das Essen kam aber bereits nach 40 Minuten heiß und sehr gut verpackt. Sehr, sehr leckeres, authentisches, nordindisches Essen. Das Mutton Masala mit Lamm war in einer sehr aromatischen, cremigen Soße weich gekocht. Der Reis dazu ist schön körnig und nicht zu fest. Gefallen hat mir auch der panierte Rahmkäse (Paneer Pakora) und das Garlic Naan. Die Portionen sind groß und in den Alubehältern sehr gut verpackt. Preis-Leistung ist gut. Wir haben für die Lieferung 1,50 € extra bezahlt bei einem Mindestbestellwert von 40 €, außerhalb von Tübingen.

Ich war das erste Mal Indisch essen und bin mehr als begeistert. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service auch sehr nett. Allerdings nur auf Englisch. Deutsch wird kaum bis gar nicht gesprochen. Zeigt zumindest Authentizität aber macht es ab und zu ein bisschen schwierig. Komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Unfassbar lecker! Nettes Personal, gutes Essen und nicht zu teuer für das was man bekommt. Etwas an vom Schlag aber ist die Reise wert :)

I’ve tried almost every Indian restaurant in Tübingen and Kohenoor is one of my favourites! Their vegetarian dishes do not disappoint 👏🏽👏🏽 They definitely have the best naan and I would really recommend the Butter Paneer Masala. The service was prompt and kind. 5/5 ⭐️

Ich wollte schon immer mal richtig typisches indisches Essen probieren. Außerdem bin ich immer fasziniert gewesen von den vielen leckeren Gewürzen die stets benutzt werden. Meine Vorstellungen wurden auf den Punkt genau getroffen. Wirklich sehr sehr sehr lecker und bestens weiter zu empfehlen. Ich werde definitiv in Zukunft öfters hingehen!

The staff is really kind but the prices are a bit high and the cuisine is more western than Indian.

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch da - das Essen war okayish - nicht der Knaller, aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Kommunikation beschränkt sich auf steigen der Gerichte und maximal ein paar Brocken Englisch, aber der Service ist bemüht und nett.

Wir haben Essen über den Lieferservice bestellt und leider feststellen müssen, dass es bei Kohenoor schon einmal besser geschmeckt hat und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis trotz allgemeiner Teuerung nicht stimmt. Da der Lieferant dann auch noch die anhängliche Nachbarkatze in unserem Vorgarten unsanft mit dem Fuß traktiert hat (das muss wirklich nicht sein!), werden wir hier wohl nichts mehr bestellen. Schade!
