I ate something delicious there and was very satisfied

Unfortunately, the food couldn't make up for the rather poor service. We had to wait 30 minutes before we could order our first drinks. After that, the food took another hour... Unfortunately, very disappointed.

The food tasted really good, the pizza was top-notch, and the ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately, the service was a complete disappointment. You have to approach the staff to even be noticed, both when being seated and when ordering. After about 15–20 minutes, we were finally asked for drinks, and the appetizer didn't arrive for about an hour and a half. Particularly annoying: The table next to us, which arrived significantly later, had their main course before we did our appetizer. Empty glasses remained for a long time, and if you wanted to reorder something, you had to get up and find someone yourself. Also, my pizza was wrong. They didn't even ask if everything was okay or how the food tasted. The interior seems rather lackluster; there are outdoor chairs and folding tables in some of the dining area, which leaves a shabby overall impression. This was our last visit here.

Disappointing pizza experience despite friendly reservation We had reserved a table for two by phone for an evening – contacting the staff was uncomplicated and friendly. The reception at the restaurant was also problem-free, and we were seated on time. The menu sounded promising. We each ordered a gourmet pizza. The wait was okay, but unfortunately, the pizzas weren't very tasty: The dough was light and warm, but completely uncrunchy. The high-quality toppings (including buffalo mozzarella, Parma ham, and cherry tomatoes) were placed cold on the pizza, causing the dish to cool very quickly and offer little enjoyment. The service also couldn't salvage the impression. Although several servers were on duty, it took quite a while before we could pay due to additional tasks (e.g., pouring drinks ourselves). The noise level in the dining room was also very high in places, and the atmosphere seemed rather austere – a few pictures or green plants would certainly help. Plus points: - Easy phone reservations - Card payments accepted Conclusion: Despite good ingredients, the overall experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, not a restaurant we would visit again. P.S.: On September 28, 2025, the website will still display the weekly menu from June 13-19, 2025.

The pizza seems to have gotten tastier. I didn't know that was possible.

Extremely disappointing - tried eating there twice, 2 major disappointments!!!! If I could, I would give it 0 stars!!!! 1st attempt: Called to ask if they had pizza for pickup. Answer: Yes. We said we'd call back right away – after that, no one answered the phone the entire evening. 2nd attempt: Reserved a table for 5 people, drove there, waited 20 minutes – only to be told they didn't have any pizza left – only salads and pasta. And that at 7:30 p.m. (!) – completely incomprehensible when you advertise as a pizzeria, and also extremely unprofessional. This is simply unacceptable. Absolutely disappointing for us, we certainly won't be coming back.

I was truly impressed with the Pizza Delicata Napoletana – great dough, perfectly baked, fresh ingredients. By far one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. Highly recommended!

We were at the pizzeria last night shortly after 8:00. It was well staffed but not crowded. There were about 5 waiters milling around. After a while, a waitress came over to us and asked if we wanted another menu. We replied yes. This was brought, but the waitress was about to leave again. We said we could order our drinks now. No sooner said than done. After a quarter of an hour, the drinks arrived. After repeatedly making it clear that we would like to order food, it finally happened at 8:30 p.m., so we had to wait. The order was then placed at the next table. After 45 minutes, we asked if our pizza had been forgotten, which was denied. Then our table neighbors got their food, while we were still waiting. Shortly afterwards, a pizza was brought which we hadn't ordered. At that point, it was too much for me, so I went to pay without eating. I have to say that we didn't have to pay for our drinks because we had to wait so long. I know the pizzas taste great, but I've never experienced anything so disorganized. There isn't a single person in charge of you, so some of the servers wander around like counterfeit money, not knowing where to deliver anything. That's completely unacceptable; you won't see us there again!

Great place to spend an hour or two, not to mention best pizza I've had since being in Italy. I hate that it's so good, because now whenever I walk past it, which is daily, I'll want to go in.

The wait time was far too long! They're not running the place! We couldn't order for a long time, and we waited 40 minutes for drinks and 1.5 hours for the food. I wouldn't recommend this place!

Impossible to reserve (we wrote but received no reply). We arrived at 8 pm on a Saturday, and even though there were tables available (at least 7 empty tables), we were told it was impossible to serve us (there were 3 of us). We asked if we could order a takeout and were again refused. Deplorable. If you want to come, make a reservation well in advance. We walked for 45 minutes in vain. If you can, come by car.

Good evening, Today, I visited your restaurant with a companion after work to have a drink in your beautifully situated beer garden. We initially enjoyed the atmosphere very much, so we spontaneously decided to have something to eat as well. I ordered the fitness salad with turkey. The order arrived quickly, which is a positive. However, the salad contained a breaded piece of turkey – something that, in my opinion, doesn't fit a "fitness salad" and wasn't listed on the menu. When I asked if I could get the meat in its natural state, I was initially told that it was always breaded and that I would have to specially reorder it. After I specifically asked for the meat in its natural state, I was told that they were looking into it. After about five minutes, I was told that, unfortunately, they were already out of turkey (and that was only about an hour after opening). I was offered beef as an alternative, which I accepted. To my surprise, however, the new salad came with pork. When I pointed this out, the response was simply "Oh, sorry" – neither an apology nor a suggested solution. This series of misunderstandings and the lack of commitment to the mistake unfortunately significantly tarnished the overall impression. I would also like to address another issue that struck me as unpleasant: the service staff's attire. In my opinion, crop tops and extremely short pants – as worn by a female employee – do not belong in the professional setting of a restaurant. A well-groomed and appropriate appearance contributes significantly to the atmosphere of a restaurant. For the reasons stated, we will continue to consider your restaurant a pleasant place for a drink outside – but we will not be returning for dinner.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Tübingen. There's a large selection of different flavors, including classics and many specialty versions. There can sometimes be quite long waits, so keep that in mind before visiting the restaurant. But the taste is a 10/10.

It took 1:15 hours for the main course to arrive. My Gourmet Delicata pizza had one too many ingredients on it, luckily I don't mind arugula. A bit pricey, but I recommend the Classica pizza selection; they're just as good. But all four pizzas arrived warm at the same time and were delicious ❤️

We went to the Derendingen club bar for many years—usually for a drink in the evening. Now the place has been taken over by Da Michele. We've never been served so poorly: instead of the non-alcoholic sour shandy we ordered, we got a sweet one; instead of the non-alcoholic wheat beer we ordered, we got a non-alcoholic beer. The reason given was that they didn't have any non-alcoholic wheat beer and they couldn't make non-alcoholic shandy. We both ended up drinking non-alcoholic beer. A later glance at the menu revealed that they did have non-alcoholic wheat beer. A tiramisu we ordered was only delivered half an hour later, after repeated reminders.

We had a reservation at 8:30, order drinks and food at 8:40. It is 10:15 and we are still waiting. The place is not even full. At this point it doesn't matter the quality of the food anymore. Honestly ridiculous.

I'm a loyal customer and am incredibly happy that they were able to reopen after Brandt. A very nice family. The best pizza and a beautiful beer garden on the Steinlach. Highly recommended.

This is our second time here. Unfortunately, they didn't have pizza the first time, although the food we had was also very tasty. This time we wanted to try pizza, and we weren't disappointed. It was the best pizza we've had in a long time. The service was friendly and quick. The price-performance ratio is, in my opinion, okay. If you're looking for good Italian food, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back.

With all due respect, this was just too much: we were sitting in the beer garden. Ordering was relatively quick, but they asked for more drinks when there were already two people there!!! What else to drink, what kind of appetizer? Then we had to wait an hour for our drinks. And we weren't alone. Five tables were waiting for drinks, and only one table had food. After another 45 minutes, my husband's main course arrived, matching his appetizer, "Vitello Tonnato," which was missing capers and the veal was sliced ​​much too thick. And then my main course arrived—the appetizer was missing. At least I was asked a little later if I wanted the appetizer. And then we had to wait over half an hour to pay. At the neighboring table, the food arrived long after the drinks had been empty, but no one from the service staff asked. These are all reasons why you won't see me there again.

With the beer garden two-thirds full, we waited an hour for our first (and last) drink. The location is nice and the food generally good, but you can only accept that once. Spaghetti frutti di mare was very good, but they wanted to bring the appetizer afterward, even though we had ordered the opposite. Unfortunately, the vitello tonnato wasn't what it promised: the veal slices were too thick and there were no capers! A shame for such a cozy evening.

Very friendly staff and good food. Everything we've eaten here so far has been excellent, except for the calzone, which was a bit weak, but that's a matter of taste. Service has always been impeccable and always friendly and courteous. Prices are fair. Our regular Italians ❤️

The pizzas are exceptionally good, probably the best we have eaten in the Tübingen district so far. Unfortunately our visits are now less frequent as the service has become very slow over the last 1-2 years. You definitely need time if you want to eat on site. The employees also sometimes arrive after 30 minutes for the drinks and the order. Overall the service remains friendly but it's probably quicker to order take-away pizzas. Conclusion: if you have time, a visit for the pizza is definitely worth it!

The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly. The food is fresh and the ingredients are Made in Italy. The environment has been renovated and is very cozy. I feel like I'm at home! The pizzas are really delicious, I haven't eaten this good in many years!

Very, very tasty meal with friends. E.g. mussels with perfect spicy tomato sauce. Unfortunately, half(!!) of the shells were empty, which I also told the young waitress. She just said that they were definitely in the sauce - of course that wasn't the case, except for 2 pieces! I would have liked another small one here. Requested an extra portion - nothing came!! Unfortunately, too much was charged on the bill and you don't know 'sorry' either - what a shame! There is still room for improvement here.

The pizza is very good, soft and very light, the staff is very kind and welcoming and communicates with the customer. They have a dog and I like this fact very much because they accept animals in the restaurant. They are like me, animalisri, they make croquettes as they say in Naples and panzarotte. The restaurant is beautiful and hot like the south of every pizzeria here in the south obviously go there on Valentinstag it's worth eating at Michele's

It's always a pleasure, always very friendly staff, delicious pizza, the best! My son is always enthusiastic and happy about the pizzas made especially for him, the last one in the shape of a heart 😊 If you want to taste a really tasty pizza and feel a bit like you're in Italy, you're in the right place.

If you're planning a celebratory dinner, don't go here and don't expect your reservation request to be respected in the older (and frankly nicer) part of the restaurant. I don't think it was fair for me to spend money here when a reservation request was previously confirmed and then not fulfilled.

Simply the best pizzeria in Tübingen and one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life (and I'm Italian, so I've eaten a lot, even in Naples). You can tell that Michele puts all his passion into making pizza and always creates new variations and combinations of ingredients that pleasantly surprise us every time. His wonderful family also contributes to this, making you feel at home every time. We go there almost every week, it is now a regular stop for us. The price-performance ratio is also unbeatable. Bravi!

The pizza is okay, but nothing more. The crust was too thick and the pizza itself was a bit too bland. It's nice to sit outside in the summer, hence the 4 stars. The pizzas are something special here. The edge is fluffy and wide and just too thin in the middle. I haven't had it before, but it was really something special and, above all, very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza came super quickly. Top! So I would definitely come back just for the pizza. Which was also a little dream: the cappuccino. Really super tasty! For dessert there was tiramisu, which I would have liked a little more coffee and the topping was cream instead of mascarpone. That wasn't really my case. But it was still delicious.

I waited 10 min. more than the established time, but good Michele, having noticed what had happened, accompanied my extra time with a focaccia offered by him and many apologies for what had happened. I had my pizzas which as usual were magnificent and the prices although a little increased (as in all of Germany), still affordable. Despite the cost, unlike all the other pizzerias in the area, Michele's pizza IS A REAL PIZZA. If you want a REAL ITALIAN PIZZA, DA MICHELE IS YOUR LOCAL PIZZERIA.

Excellent food, tasty and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the pizza is poorly topped and has a huge crust. The service is understaffed and the atmosphere is getting old. There is no reasonable price-performance ratio when it comes to pizza, as a lot is paid for delicious dough. It's still worth a visit.

A nice and affordable Neapolitan style pizza but the size is too small and too much of it just crust. Maybe it was the pizza I got (Capricciosa), but the ingredients didn't taste fresh. The dough itself was beautiful and exactly as it should be.

I've eaten here before, but also for the last time!!! We made a reservation and were told that wasn't true. Were able to leave without eating. I have rarely experienced such unprofessional behavior. As good as the food was the first time, you don't have to put up with something like that. Gastronomy is different, so never again.

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend zu zweit dort. Bedienungen freundlich, aber zum Teil etwas langsam. Die Pizzen waren super, ebenso das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Restaurant könnte innen mal wieder etwas neuen Schwung uns Sauberkeit vertragen. Wir würden aber nochmals hingehen.

Pizza ist super lecker, beste in Tübingen finde ich.

Hab 2 Pizzen bestellt waren sehr gut..sehr Saftig und Frisch..Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich ..ich wurde sehr Freundlich ukd mit einem Lächeon empfangen und bedient..im Restaurant war es sehr gut besucht und es war eibe nette Stimmung ..

Localino a Tübingen degno di nota. Una pizza di gran livello cosa rara qui in germania. Siamo stati accolti su prenotazione e subito messi a nostro agio dal personale davvero gentile. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto per 4 e devo segnalare la premura dello chef che prima ci ha chiesto cosa volevamo mangiare per cena così da regolarsi con la grandezza dell antipasto e poi è venuto lui stesso a servircelo. Degne di nota le montanarine senza un ombra d olio e il prosciutto crudo tagliato a mano. Abbiamo proseguito con una degustazione di 4 differenti pizze a piacere dello chef tra cui anche la pizza fritta. Pizze dal cornicione alto, impasto 48 ore, ottima cottura e fantasia nella combinazione degli ingredienti. Abbiamo finito con un dolce sempre a discrezione dello chef che si è presentato con cannuolo siciliano ed un babà napoletano con una panna eccezionale. Lunga chiacchierata con lo chef, davvero alla mano e umile,tra caffè e limencello. Ottima la musica rigorosamente italiana e il prezzo è il.giusto per la media tedesca. Consigliatissimo. Ci torneremo a breve per assaggiare le pizze classiche. Top.
