Unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately, this cozy eritarian restaurant in the racism-free Rödelheim (according to the town sign and the majority of people living here) is closing at the end of the year.
Owner Azazi Maricos himself was present today and friendly as always.
He modified the menu for the four of us so that we liked it (one wanted more beef, two wanted much more spiciness...). Oh, we'll miss talking to him!
Yes, it has a restaurateur as a part -time job is really difficult. He's thinking about something else, for which we wish him good luck and joy.
An Indian restaurant will be moving in here soon. Multiculturalism remains in Rödelheim. Here's to a new one!
We were completely satisfied with the food and the service. We chose the 7-course menu with wine accompaniment. Together it comes to around €150 per person. The service was very accommodating, the card changes monthly. Afterwards there is a personal conversation with the chef, which I really enjoyed because of the proximity. Great! Always my pleasure!
We had a spontaneous meal there again on Saturday and it was, as always, perfect!! Not only is the food incredibly delicious, the owner couple is also extremely friendly, customer-oriented and you can change things very flexibly, for example side dishes... there is hardly any other place with such great service... please keep it up ;-) See you soon 😉

Akustisch und in der Größe könnte das Restaurant etwas komfortabler sein, aber das ist eigentlich nur ein ganz kleiner Einwand.

A real lucky find! We happened to pass the Waldschänke while hiking and stopped by spontaneously. The atmosphere is extraordinary, really a special restaurant and there are little details to discover in every corner. The menu sounded exceptional and our dishes were equally exceptionally delicious! We'll be back, I definitely have to try the desserts :)

The quality of the food is of the highest standard, and we were both completely impressed by the varied, multi-course “tavern cuisine” menu. Every single dish was creatively prepared and a real taste explosion.
The wine selection is fantastic and there are even house-made drinks such as the award-winning, lovingly prepared gin - a real treat! The atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely pleasant and invites you to linger. It combines rustic cosiness with elegance, which was perfect for us.
Particularly noteworthy is the extremely attentive and fast operation. We felt well looked after and valued at all times. This restaurant really showed us how beautiful and special a dining experience can be. We are very glad we tried it and highly recommend it!
