The food is really good, but the portions are rather small - if you're really hungry, we recommend ordering two. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is top. The restaurant is simply furnished (for an Indian restaurant), but loving details ensure a pleasant atmosphere.

Two different kitchens have been perfected here. We had an Indian starter plate and Indian main courses. For dessert there was a wonderfully prepared Italian dessert variation with an excellent tiramisu. A big recommendation!

It still seems to be an insider tip...but definitely not for long. Even though Mamma Mia makes everything seem Italian at first, the cuisine here is only half Italian. The Indian menu appealed to us straight away, so we dedicated our evening to Indian cuisine. What a good decision. Owners are Indian, I assume. Indian music sounds in the background at an acoustically pleasant pitch and we gently notice scents from the kitchen. We chose a very good starter. Portion sizes are really sufficient and filling well. Service was super attentive and very nice. We were also asked from time to time whether everything was OK. I have to say our main course choice today was also very good. Everything was properly seasoned and seasoned. Basmati rice was cooked to perfection. If you closed your eyes you could have assumed you were in India. Our taste buds felt like they were having an Indian conversation. We were so surprised and convinced by the taste. A little too perfect.😍 So here's my little note: I expected naan to be more like roti... a little flatter, a little firmer and made from whole grains. What we were served was more like flattened pizza dough (not really good!) Of course, coriander is also part of Indian cuisine like curry, but unfortunately I personally don't like it at all... it might be possible to ask beforehand whether you want parsley or coriander 😉. (Just a kind suggestion). Beyond that, however, I had a perfect Indian evening and lovingly served Indian cuisine. We are very, very happy to recommend this location and promise to come often. Card payment possible. Entrance with one step. Outdoor terrace with very comfortable seating. We found the prices to be very pleasant. We would like to thank you for the nice evening and say see you next time.

The food was simply fantastic! Every dish we ordered was a feast for the senses. The flavors were intense and authentic, and you could taste the attention to detail in every bite. We particularly recommend the chicken dishes, which were all incredibly tender and tasty. The side dishes such as naan and rice were also freshly prepared and rounded off the experience perfectly. service The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and always willing to make recommendations. You felt welcome and well looked after, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

Today we were in the cozy Indian/Italian restaurant for the first time. The Indian food was excellent. It was served to us very nicely. The service was super nice and accommodating. We have only ordered food there so far and were very impressed. Now after the visit we have found our new favorite restaurant in Frechen. We'd love to come back, keep it up :0)

I'll be honest... the external impression (terrace) doesn't make me want to visit this restaurant. BUT… once through the door and you regret not having visited the restaurant sooner 🙂 You receive a very friendly welcome from the owner family and you immediately feel at home. You can definitely work on the ambience, but first and foremost it's about the food. And that is really very good! But be careful when ordering the spicy dishes - they are SPICY 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (but can be adjusted). What I find unfortunate is the name of the restaurant. If I were watching “Mamma Mia,” I wouldn’t think that there was Indian cuisine there. We are a big fan, both on site and to order. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!

We were there with Schlemmerblock. It doesn't look very inviting from the outside, so we were a bit skeptical. We received a very friendly welcome inside and were given a table in the very nicely furnished back part of the restaurant. The map offers a large selection. We ate Indian food and loved it. Both dishes tasted excellent. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. The prices were very fair, we will be back.

Can only confirm the positive reviews. The four of us came to the restaurant on a Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. (just before closing time) and, even though the place was almost empty, we were able to eat and drink in peace. Everyone was super friendly and the food (paneery curries, alo gobi, mango lassi...) was really incredibly tasty. We'll be back!

We came across this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised - not only by the food, but also by the excellent service. The value for money is unbeatable and the ambience was very pleasant. We were spontaneously there at the weekend with our voucher book and immediately felt at home. The service is very attentive, friendly and humorous. We decided on Indian food, the starter platter for 2 people to get some variety for the first impression and then for the main course there was curry and butter chicken :-) both super tasty and beautifully served on small warmers so that it stays warm for a long time. The plates were preheated. Lots of details that we really appreciate. We'd love to come back and maybe we'll try the Italian menu - but we've actually already saved Mamma Mia for an Indian appetite. Highly recommended!

We spontaneously ordered food for 15 people. Ordering by phone to pick up went smoothly. Food was ready for pickup after about 30 minutes. I can recommend this restaurant for taste and organization! (I can't say anything about the ambience as it's only for pick-ups)

Ordered cream schnitzel with fries, but a schnitzel with champions arrived without sauce. The fries were inedible, sloppy, not hot. Looked like they were fried in old fat. The only thing that was good was my penne al forno but unfortunately they weren't gratinated like the menu says. We will then no longer order

We were guided by the good Google rating and then decided to order there. Because the supplier only arrived after more than 1 1/2 hours, we were given a voucher straight away. I think it can happen sometimes. Unfortunately we won't be using the voucher because we had to call in sick for two days because of the food. So I think something like that shouldn't happen... We are very disappointed

From the outside the restaurant seems more like a quick snack bar, but inside there is a nice, cozy interior. The service is first class, attentive and personable. The Indian food is fantastic and plentiful. Simply unbeatable for the price. We will be back.

Hallo, wer guten Service und super leckeres Essen sich ist hier genau richtig. Die Mama kocht anscheinend selber und der Sohn macht den Service. Ich habe schon oft Indisch gegessen, doch hier war es bisher am leckersten. Der nette Service rundete unseren Abend ab. Die Preisgestaltung ist hervorragend. Preis Leistung wird hier noch groß geschrieben. Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin!

We’ve tried No. 142 chicken vindaloo (scharf). It’s the best Indian dish I ever have - seasoning is beautiful and the scharf is soooo good. Highly recommended!!

Zum wiederholten Mal dort essen gewesen. Wieder alles super. Vor allem die Nudelgerichte schmecken sehr gut. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ein Geheimtipp in Frechen, wo mein Geburtstagsessen wunderschön und familär ausgerichtet wurde. Auf Wünsche wurde freundlich eingegangen, das Essen war sehr gut (wir hatten indisch), sowohl Veganer als auch Fleischesser waren glücklich. Sie gestalten den Tisch individuell, wenn man vorher die Deko vorbei bringt. Danke, Arish!🌞

Sind hier an einem Samstag Abend essen gegangen. Essen war schmackhaft und der Service sehr freundlich. Werden sicherlich noch einmal vorbeischauen bzw. nochmals nach Hause bestellen.
