We liked it here, the food was tasty, the service was friendly and the shop has a pleasant atmosphere.

Great breakfast buffet with very friendly staff

I had 2 burgers, 2 side dishes and 2 drinks delivered. Estimated time: almost an hour 🤷🏻‍♂️. Might throw up but ok, good products, order a lot, you have to wait, it's worth it, right?? INCORRECT! The fries with truffles were very dry and almost cold, the burgers looked like they had been prepared for more than 24 hours and now they were in the microwave for another round. The bun was mushy, the salad was like something out of the trash and everything inside was stuck together... Sorry, something like that isn't worth at least €3, let alone almost €11. You are the last. I should actually get my money back for such outrageousness. NEVER AGAIN...

Very good Russian cuisine, great service!

I have to admit that even though I don't like Asian cuisine and only came to eat here on the recommendation of my wife, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. I was impressed by the food, the service and the ambience. I'm looking forward to the next time.

The food was good but nothing extraordinary. The service was very quick and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Given however that there are a lot of Asian restaurants in Düsseldorf that seem to be a bit more authentic to me, not sure I’d go again.

Unfortunately, the previously wonderful selection has decreased significantly (there used to be tuna sashimi, tuna nigiri and maki. There were various shrimp or dim sum dumplings with shrimp, etc.: none of that is available anymore!!!!!!! ) but the great price has increased significantly from just over €30 and is now almost an outrageous €40. We were there for the last time in the evening today, we might go again at lunchtime, then it costs €20 with a limited selection. That's okay if you're nearby. But the price-performance ratio for evenings/weekends is now almost a disgrace compared to before. Very, very unfortunate!!!

Menu or à la carte is always recommended at Am Kai. The terrace is lovely to sit on in the summer. The quality of the food has always been good and it was delicious. This time oysters and wild sea bream. Very good wine selection with moderate starting prices.
