The price-performance ratio is completely off. The sushi is supermarket quality at best, and the service seems half-hearted.

This was our second time there, and it was much better three years ago. We ordered the Deluxe Selection, a sushi platter, and the rice was dry and hard. The karaage was tasty but quite small, and you had to make do with the dipping sauce that was already underneath it. The service was completely uninterested. I mean completely, everyone there. The food was just placed in front of us, as was the card reader, after we had to wait for someone to take our payment. We were asked five times if we wanted water. It felt like they were desperately trying to get rid of bottled water. It really wasn't great...

I cannot fathom how this restaurant gets its high rating... The food isn't even mediocre, it's just bad and BY FAR not worth the high prices. Service as good as any other restaurant, meal size is super small, all for way too much money. Do yourself a favor and go to any other restaurant.

This restaurant has set the bar high. The waiters are all so kind and their recomendations were really good, we tried gyozas, spring rolls, fried rice, crispy chicken, beef chips, wagyu noodles, mango sticky rice. They were all so good ( just the wagyu noodles needed a better sauce) and portions were large. The prices were reasonable. The interior was decorated really cozy. Recommend!!!

Nice ambiance, albeit a bit worn. It feels very touristy. Service is friendly and attentive, but untrained and inexperienced. Overall, rather dirty – sticky menus, smeared wine bottle. Tables are sticky, restrooms dirty. The bartender urgently needs hygiene training! Food is not good quality. Enjoyable, but far from enjoyable. Also raised on site – no interest in constructive criticism. Plus, the price-performance ratio is not right. Tourist trap at the entrance to Immermannstrasse. 2 people – appetizer, bottle of wine, and water: €70 😂 Not recommended – never again!!!

We visited King Fusion and tried our way through the Asian tapas – a real experience! The dishes are a visual highlight, too: from juicy beef carpaccio with fresh herbs and lime, to crispy gyoza and creamy baked tofu, to perfectly grilled shrimp and tender beef fillet (clearly visible in the pictures). We were particularly impressed by the small details – the glass noodles with scallops in aromatic broth, the spicy tuna tartare under the crispy slice, and the grilled octopus with sweet and spicy sauce. All the food we tried was delicious, especially the sushi. If you like fusion cuisine, you should try it.

We found this Asian restaurant through Google reviews—it's located near the main street. The interior is nice. We ordered a papaya and cabbage salad—it tasted more like regular cabbage generously drizzled with sweet chili sauce. We also ordered two pad thai: one with shrimp, the other with shrimp and chicken. Unfortunately, the pad thai had almost no tofu, and the ingredients were generally sparse. Perhaps this feeling stems from having had richer versions of this dish before. The service left a mixed impression: we waited on the terrace for about 10 minutes for someone to come out, but no one came—we had to call for a waiter ourselves. The waitress was polite, but looked like she was being forced to work.

The tables are very small, and you sit very close to the next table. The quality of the fish and ingredients is top-notch. Overall, though, it's not the best you'll find. However, the value for money is okay.

Unfortunately, it was abysmal. The quality was way below par. We ordered it and it was ready on the table in five minutes. Nothing fresh and the taste was totally oily. We paid, and the waiter scraped the rest of the food onto a plate at our table.

Absolutely top-notch, the Wagyu steak is highly recommended! The best we've ever eaten!

First, we waited an hour for two rolls of sushi. The sushi tasted like it had been frozen in old fat; I even felt a little sick after eating it. No cutlery was brought at first, and the glasses were dirty. The waitress didn't care, and no one even asked. For around €20 for a roll of sushi, I expect a lot more. The ambiance needs a fresh coat of paint. It was a huge disappointment.

We ordered certain sushi, but the waiter deliberately brought us other – more expensive – dishes with a similar name. In the end, the bill was significantly higher. This is pure fraud and an absolute disgrace! This restaurant thrives on deceiving its guests. Never again!

We waited quite a long time for the order, they brought rolls and sashimi, the rice in them was overcooked, just porridge, already a nitpick but everything was cut crookedly, the sashimi was very far from ideal. For such a price it is simply disgusting!!!

Very very cool place! The menu has a twist to it. The team is very laid back and stylish! Everyone speaks English. The food and presentation were impeccable! We ordered the preset sushi combo - the middle option - and everything that came was enough for two people while also very tasty and modern! Definitely coming back. Highly recommended!

King Fusion is a fantastic highlight for exploring diverse flavors in a tapas-style format. I sampled octopus, chicken, edamame, ceviche, gyozas, spring rolls, and makis—each dish was impressive, with the octopus and rolls standing out. The ambiance is stylish yet cozy, with pleasant music that doesn’t overpower conversation. Service was swift, and the drinks were great. Definitely a recommended place to explore culinary variety.

Das Interieur wirkt edel und einladend. Die Kellner sind nett. Der ein oder andere auch sehr aufmerksam, keine Frage. Die Getränke sowie das Essen schmecken an sich auch, jedoch leider nicht hervorragend. Leider ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas außer Balance. Die Portionen sind für den Preis recht klein und Beilagen müssen extra dazu bestellt werden. Die Getränke sind i.d.R. 7,5€ und aufwärts - auch Aperitif 0,2l. Vom normalen Sushi ist eine kleine Auswahl für viel Geld dabei. Eine Besonderheit oder Markenzeichen hat das Restaurant/Küche leider nicht, dass den Besuch speziell macht. Wiederkommen würde ich leider nicht, da ich für den Preis einen doch besseren Service sowie Auswahl an Gerichten erwarte. Im Bild handelt es sich um das Gericht Yaki Niku. Wie auch dort zu erkennen ist leider keine Beilage oder Besonderheit zu erkennen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ausschließlich gewürfeltes Rindfleisch mit Gemüse für stolze 24€. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu kurz gekommen.

I struggle to understand the high rating here. On my vegetarian dish the broccoli was missing.(which came after when I pointed it out.) the flavours were disappointing and the papaya salad was pure garlic. We had a tummy ache for the rest of the night. The restaurant is nicely done, but I would recommend for drinks only as you have plenty of way more authentic and tasteful Asian restaurants around.

Enjoyed a delicious diner with the family. The crispy chicken curry and pad thai are surely recommended! It was fun watching the robot go through the restaurant.

We just ate at King Fusion and we can recommend it to everyone. First-class food, friendly service, and a super modern restaurant. We had a very positive experience!

It was supposed to be a special evening for a special occasion (July 18, 2025, 6:00 p.m.). Unfortunately, the owner's private party was being held, including a farewell to a kindergarten class for his daughter. There was no peace and quiet! You couldn't enjoy the meal. As a guest, you felt like you were in the middle of a child's birthday party, out of place for the rather expensive dishes.

Very chic ambiance. There are also a few outdoor seating areas. The menu is extensive and good. The food and drinks are delicious, but expensive.

We always enjoy eating here. We love the Thai shrimp soup and the crispy chicken with egg fried rice!

To sum it up, it was simply fantastic in every way. The food was delicious. We had the wagyu steak and a sushi platter for two. The food was worth every cent.

Considering the value for money, it's definitely overpriced. The rice I and my companion had was lumpy. The price is also too high in my opinion. For example, you pay €5 for a peach iced tea here. We waited a long time for the waiter and sometimes had to run to the waiter to get attention.

The food was truly excellent, and the service was friendly and helpful, even with the selection of food and drinks. I also loved the interior's color scheme, and the corridor to the restrooms is definitely a highlight. The little robot that brings the food from the kitchen to the server is also very charming :-)

We were charged for alcoholic drinks we never ordered. When we complained, they argued instead of apologizing. We don't drink alcohol, and it was obviously unpleasant. I didn't like the food at all either!

I recommend it. The food was pretty good, even if it wasn't quite to my taste. The service needs to be a bit more forceful. However, they're very helpful with questions about the food. The ambiance is quite dark, which is OK, but not to my taste. All in all, solid and recommendable, but not for those on a tight budget.

Food so-so but ambience is nice

Nothing special about the place. The sushi rolls were fresh but of mediocre quality and lack inspiration. The expense and the price point cannot be justified only by "cool" ambiance and way too expensive for the value you can get at much better ratio at other sushi places. This place has a potential only if they get serious about the food.

Spotty service, appetiser arrived in no time, even before the drinks. Waiting for the main course for over half an hour. Soft shell crab tasted funky, wagyu main was ok-ish.

The food tastes wonderful here, and the location is also super cool. However, I found it a bit of a shame that even though we ordered the lunch specials (which are much cheaper than normal times), we ended up being charged the flat rate because our dinner went beyond lunchtime. I recently experienced the same thing at another restaurant. Seems to be a new trend: “first lure, then shock”! We are not fans of such tricks and the owner should pay more attention to this kind of thing!

Very nice staff welcomed us here. Quite a big shop. It was wonderfully empty during our time. Menu was explained in detail. Hot dishes were all good. Had soup, vegetables, crispy chicken and sushi. But we already have the sushi clearly! eaten better. The remaining dishes were hot (as they should be) and tasty. However, in my opinion, the card is not a highlight. The shop is well maintained, the toilets are clean but the menus are dirty and sticky. You're welcome to swap them out.

My family and I visited King Fusion restaurant for the first time, and OMG, the flavours were incredible! Everything we ordered was so fresh. I always make a point of visiting Pan-Asian restaurants whenever we travel, as we absolutely love the food, and this one is definitely a must-visit when you're in Düsseldorf. The ceviche was amazing, the Wagyu beef was superb, and the sushi was fresh, melting in your mouth with all the flavours. The king prawn curry – oh la la! It was truly a fantastic experience, and the prices were very reasonable, not exorbitant. The desserts were also fantastic. The ambiance and the restaurant’s décor were chic and lovely. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the staff were extremely friendly and spoke English. The charming, funny robot waiter was an adorable touch!

That wasn't enough for the price! A table that was only half set, despite a prior reservation, not enough water glasses so we had to use the wine glasses, we had to ask several times to order a drink and the waiter can't recommend anything other than "I don't know how hungry you are..."? That's not enough considering the prices. I expect attention and the best service.

I'm totally shocked, the worst sushi I've ever eaten, I've never experienced anything like it! The sushi looked terrible when it arrived. Very small, crooked, misshapen pieces that look better if you do it yourself. And the taste was totally tasteless & not fresh at all. The rice was completely mushy and solid, so that everything stuck together and the pieces barely had any content. The tuna tartar was almost a whole lump, so we had to cut it into small pieces ourselves. And all of this in relation to the completely overpriced price. This is so bottomless. How can you want to build such a noble image of yourself and then deliver such poor quality. This sushi couldn't have been offered even at an extremely low price. Packaged sushi from Edeka tastes better. We then gave the waiter our honest feedback in the hope that it would be passed on to the kitchen. The waiter didn't come to meet us and we had to pay the full price. Should have refused the food from the start.

The food is top level, fishes and chicken on highest level ever. Definetly recommended for everyone. Restaurant have their own vision in terms of exclusivity and trends used to attract customers.

We expected more. The drink order was almost forgotten and requests were only taken after the food order. We had ordered mixed platters and there were six of us. But the plates were only designed for 4 people. Food was okay, but nothing special. Too expensive for that.

The ambience of the restaurant is perfect for dinner with friends. The meal was excellent. I tried Pad Thai, Oysters, Crispy Sushi and Maki, all delicious. The prices are also very affordable. Expensive, really disappointing food: we were a large group of 12 people, none of the dishes was good.

New Year's Eve party with dinner and subsequent party. Great atmosphere, unfortunately I found the service and organization rather poor. For an entrance fee of over 80 euros, I found the food to be little, I was still hungry. Small appetizers were brought to the table, often courses were skipped because another table partner refused the course. The subsequent party and fireworks were ok. The organization of speed dating was a failure. Music too loud, no conversation possible. Drinks were charged extra, prices were partly okay. Unfortunately, many things are overpriced.

Events You&Mee New Year's Eve Single Party. Positive: Decoration and furnishings very stylish. Good location, very easy to reach by public transport. At 11 p.m. there was no more beer. A disaster! Mustn't happen! Flying Buffet: We were fed appetizers for 1.5 hours. Which were very tasty. But then you only had 20 minutes left for the main course and dessert. The main course was too greasy, too little and carelessly slapped onto the plate. There were drinks, but no staff. In order to get a drink you first had to stand in line, order from the waiter at the cash register, pay and then use the receipt to queue again at the bar to give the receipt to the other waiter (who didn't speak German) and then wait until you get the drink. Since the waiter was mostly alone behind the counter, he was extremely overwhelmed. After the fireworks we stood at the cash register to order drinks, but no one was there to take the order. I saw women drinking from the tap in the women's toilet, which I did. The event was a total flop. The evening cost 100 euros to drink from the tap.

I've been a few times over the past years to King Fusion and I must say that food quality and service has been definitely better. We paid a higher price this time for poor quality food and not a good service. Although the atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice this place has lost a lot of flavor.

Went for dinner, when we got there server was rude and rushing us to order and saying that “we cant stay for more then 2 hours” while we made a reservation. Ordered some sushi as appetizers and couple of main cours. Everything came out at the same time. After 5 min of placing the order. Complained about the issue only thing she offered was to trow them out and send a new one later. The idea/ concepts of food was good, execution was badd. I.e. the duck breast was dry and the fat from skin wasn’t rendered.

Der Service war grottenschlecht! Es hat erst mal eine halbe Stunde gedauert, bis wir die Speisekarte erhalten haben und ab dann wurde uns eigentlich jedes Gericht falsch serviert und das Essen war alles an allem sehr mittelmäßig für den Preis.

We had our Christmas party here. The food and drinks were good (welcome drink with pieces of ginger and Pinot Gris!). The individual courses were delivered quickly and the service staff even responded to special requests (we asked for another round of spring rolls and got them!). However, our table came away empty-handed when it came to dessert (out of three variations, only the mango ice cream was received). Maybe someone lost track? :)

I found the restaurant on Google Maps because we wanted to eat Asian food in Düsseldorf. I reserved a table online. Unfortunately, our table was in the staff walking area opposite the bar (so there was a lot of traffic) and next to a very large, loud group (around 20 people!), so our conversation was very stressful. There were other tables of four with fewer people, which I found unpleasant. Therefore 2 stars deducted. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. A new employee (2nd day) should receive further training, especially in communicating with the guest! The food came quickly and was very good in terms of preparation, taste and quality! There was sushi, tartare, mango salad (a must try - super tasty). Good wine selection and cocktails! We can recommend the restaurant!

I ate in your restaurant around the afternoon of today, December 14, 2024, and unfortunately had an extremely unpleasant experience. While the food was initially good, the evening was completely ruined by the behavior of a waitress (dark-haired, slim). After eating half of my meal, I wanted to take the remaining half with me. However, the waitress collected all the cutlery from the table and placed it directly on my food. When I pointed out to her that I wanted to take my food with me, she reacted rudely and said that she could take the cutlery out and still pack the food. I explained to her that the cutlery was used and dirty, which made the food unappetizing. Instead of showing understanding, she asked me to decide whether I wanted to take the food with me “as is or not at all”. There was no apology, nor was there an offer to freshly prepare the food. When I then went to the counter to speak to the manager, she told me in a very rude tone that the manager wasn't there. Instead of helping me, she just said that she had to clear our table now and simply walked away. Luckily, another employee came afterwards and apologized for the waitress' behavior. He was very friendly and understanding and offered me a new meal and a 20% discount. Although I declined the offer of the new food, I was grateful for his efforts. Unfortunately, the situation was further aggravated by the looks and comments of the first waitress, who treated us unpleasantly until the end. I am disappointed that a restaurant has such a service staff. The second employee's response was professional, but the waitress's behavior is unacceptable. I hope that this was an exception and that work is being done to train staff to avoid such situations in the future.

Es fehlte das Gewisse etwas, was auf der Karte/Homepage so angepriesen wird. Das Lachstartar hätte etwas angemacht sein können (vielleicht eine Wasabi Mayo dazu, oder etwas angeröstete/karamelisierte Frühlingszwiebel drauf) Die Ente Tortillia war etwas trocken. Auch hier fehlte der gewisse Touch (etwas Frische im Tortilla) Das Sushi war sehr gut und auch ausgesprochen abwechslungsreich. Die Nachtische waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und für den Preis auch sehr fair.

Service schnell und freundlich. Tolles Essen! Wir hatten Sushi und noch ein paar Tapas. Insgesamt hohe Qualität und was wirklich gut kommt: Temperatur! Fisch und Reis sind nicht unterkühlt sondern so wie es sein sollte. Wir saßen leider nahe am Eingang, so dass wir immer wieder Kälte abbekommen haben.
