Der große Japaner bringt seit einigen Jahren japanische Küche nach Düsseldorf. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Gerichten und ist einen Blick wert. Die Weinkarte bietet eine gute Auswahl. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, es gibt viel Holz und Blumen im Innenraum. Ich bin in dieses Zimmer verliebt.

Absolutely bad staff!!! At the stand on Japan Day: No idea about the ingredients and ingredients of the dishes. Sells spring rolls with meat when asked repeatedly if they are vegetarian. On February 14, 2024, I reserved a table for two people including the Valentine's Day menu for a total of €75 at the "Zweigleisig" restaurant. According to the reservation page, this amount should include five courses of two dishes each, making a total of ten dishes for my companion and me. After consuming the ten dishes, we were surprised to find that we were suddenly charged €150 when billing. When we asked, we were told that this amount had to be paid per person, but this was not at all clear from the reservation. The page only shows the €75 for the five courses including ten dishes, without any further information about billing depending on the person (e.g. no reference to a “total sum” despite the number of guests stated). On the contrary: It is even mentioned as a note that only one menu can be purchased per reservation and this applies to the entire table. Even in the reservation confirmation only the sum i. H.v. 75€ displayed. Absolutely incomprehensible! This approach is not only misleading, but also incomprehensible in any way. It makes no sense to charge more for the same service for multiple guests. This would be comparable to a kebab seller who doubles the price of the same kebab for two people who want to share it - a practice that seems absurd. Furthermore, it is misleading to offer a Valentine's Day menu that already indicates in the name that two people will partake of it. The assumption that the €75 for the menu is for one person is extremely questionable. All supporting documents/evidence for all my statements are available and have been screenshotted in a timely manner before the company has had any information removed from your website the next day (feel free to contact if other customers have similar problems).

Disappointing experience at Zweigleisig: lack of management and unprofessionalism. Regarding Zweitrackig, I unfortunately have to express my disappointment with the experience I had. While the kitchen certainly seems to know its craft, the management leaves a lot to be desired. Not only did I witness unfriendly and unprofessional behavior towards regular customers, but even physical assault, which is unacceptable. It's unfortunate to note that my review doesn't seem to have any impact, as I've even been told to leave a bad Google review because management doesn't care. With a total expenditure of €1200 in the last 12 months at Zweigleisig and its partner restaurant Den, I don't feel valued as a customer. A return is out of the question for me. A pity!

An experience like no other! Very aesthetic and original dishes that will not only impress your date or friends but also taste as good as they look. The restaurant offers fusion dishes with fresh ingredients. Great atmosphere, music and modern design. Perfect for a date or chilling with friends 😎 Have come here several times with friends in the evenings after work and on the weekend and always great service. I would recommend it to everybody! 👍 Update: This is the perfect restaurant to celebrate your birthday! Good vibes and the whole restaurant is celebrating! Even Birthday Song is played!

Eat: A lot of money for little food. In terms of taste, it's not worth the price, but it doesn't taste extremely bad either (6/10). Portions are very small. Service: Very nice service. Very accommodating and always friendly. Ambiance: The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a unique atmosphere. It's nice to look at. Conclusion: If you value the decor and think it's okay to spend money on food and then be just as hungry afterwards, I can recommend this restaurant. You can definitely meet up here for a drink. Personally, I don't think I'll be back.

Schade Schade Schade…… Gut gemeint ist leider noch lange nicht gut gemacht. Außer dem schönen Ambiente, welches durch eine massenhafte Überbelegung zerstört wurde, fehlen uns leider jegliche guten Worte, für dieses desaströse Erlebnis. Wir haben ebenfalls das Valentinsfest Menu - 75,00 €/Person reserviert und haben uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut – leider wurden wir in allen Punkten enttäuscht. Qualität – kalt – versalzen Preis Leistung – unterirdisch – Menge und Auswahl Präsentation – es hätte ein Imbiss sein können, sehr lieblos in Schalen serviert. Wir mussten auch selbst eruieren was uns da serviert wurde, da die Schalen kommentarlos abgestellt wurden und es auch keine Menükarte gab. Wir wurden halbwegs nett begrüßt und durften uns einen der Tische aussuchen, die Tische waren jedoch wie Ölsardinen aneinandergereiht. Hier lag der Fokus klar auf Profit und nicht darauf, für Paare etwa ein schönes Valentinstagerlebnis zu kreieren. Die Wartezeiten waren einem Gänge Menü nicht würdig. Schon nach dem dritten Gang und einer Wartezeit von fast einer Stunde (!) zwischen dem dritten und vierten Gang verging uns der Spaß und dem Personal sichtlich ebenfalls. Zu Trinken bekamen wir genau 1x das war beim Platznehmen, danach war niemand mehr da. Leere Gläser standen herum und das Personal war völlig überfordert und lief mit Scheuklappen an uns vorbei. Der krönende Abschluss nach einem ,,versauten“ Abend war, das wir 3x nach der Rechnung gefragt haben und meine Partnerin dann mit den netten Worten des ( wir vermuten Personalchefs welcher desinteressiert und völlig fehl am Platz an der Tür stand ) die Aussage erhielt ,, ALTER ICH KANN AUCH NICHT HEXEN“ angeblafft wurde. Dies war unser erster und letzter Versuch in diesem Restaurant – es hat uns Lebenszeit und vor allem viel Geld und einen schönen Abend gekostet.

Wir haben uns auf ein schönes Valentinstagsdate gefreut und wurden leider total enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein 5-Gänge Menü, wobei man auf jeden Gang circa 30-40 Minuten warten musste. Das Essen war zwar nicht schlecht, allerdings waren es für 150€ (Valentinstagsmenü 75€ PP) viel zu wenig. Es waren wenige Sushis, wenig Edamame, eine kleine Schale Pommes und sonst nicht viel erwähnenswertes. Für den Preis und die Wartezeiten nicht zu empfehlen, auch wenn die Location eine tolle ist.

Gestern hatten wir eine 'unglaubliche' kulinarische Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant. Trotz rechtzeitiger Reservierung mussten wir weitere zehn Minuten auf die Vorbereitung unseres Tisches warten, nicht allzu kritisch, aber es war erst der Anfang, und der Eindruck trübte sich bereits. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass an diesem Abend ein Konzept mit einem einzigen Menü für alle Gäste galt (da es der Valentinstag war und das Restaurant komplett ausgebucht war), was theoretisch eine zeitgerechte Bereitstellung aller Gerichte für die Gäste erleichtern sollte. Die Wartezeit erreichte jedoch Rekordniveaus, und wir verbrachten über drei Stunden im Lokal. Angefangen damit, dass die erste Vorspeise 40 Minuten nach unserem Platznehmen kam, und dies waren nur Appetithäppchen, war bereits beunruhigend. Dieses Muster setzte sich mit jedem weiteren Gang fort. Doch dies könnte man angesichts des Feiertags verstehen und akzeptieren. Für den Service wäre jedoch eine Rechtfertigung schwer zu finden. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und reagierte auf unsere Anfragen, als ob sie uns einen Gefallen tun würde. Anfragen nach Servietten, dem Abraumen von schmutzigem Geschirr oder sogar nach Besteck, das eigentlich selbstverständlich sein sollte, wurden missachtet. Erst nachdem wir uns an den Manager gewandt hatten, konnten wir einen normalen Service in diesem Restaurant erleben. Nicht zu empfehlen, wenn Sie Ihr Festtagsessen nicht verderben möchten.

We had a lovely Valentine's Day at the restaurant in question!! We reserved early and were warmly welcomed. Due to Valentine's Day, it was assumed that the service would be particularly busy today. In our opinion, they handled it very well given the circumstances. The effort and coordination of the staff particularly stood out. The price-performance ratio was great!

We were there for Valentine's Day. When we arrived we were told there would be a 5 course menu today. There was no mention of this when we made the reservation. Nevertheless, we stayed there because we were assured that we would have to pay 10% less with a menu price of 75 per person. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor during the evening. We were there for 5 hours and received one course per hour. During these 5 hours we were only asked once at the beginning what we would like to drink. The long waiting times were not communicated by the service either. In the end it was said that dessert was canceled because it would take too long. Everyone gets a discount for this. When paying, everyone got a 15% discount, but there was no sign of the 10% initially promised. When asked, they said that there was already a 15% discount and that that was more than 10%. To be honest, we felt ripped off!! The people around us also complained and no one was really happy. The price was also far too high for the food on offer. We won't be coming back and unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant. A pity!

Apart from the beautiful ambience, which was destroyed by massive overcrowding, we unfortunately lack any good words for this disastrous experience. We also reserved the Valentine's Day Menu - €75.00/person and were looking forward to a lovely evening - unfortunately we were disappointed in all respects. Quality – cold – oversalted Price performance – underground – quantity and selection Presentation – it could have been a snack, very carelessly served in bowls. We also had to find out for ourselves what was served to us, as the bowls were put down without comment and there was no menu. We were greeted fairly nicely and were allowed to choose one of the tables, but the tables were lined up like sardines. The focus here was clearly on profit and not on creating a nice Valentine's Day experience for couples. The waiting times were not worthy of a course meal. After the third course and a wait of almost an hour (!) between the third and fourth courses, we obviously lost the fun and so did the staff. We were given a drink exactly once, that was when we sat down, after which no one was there. There were empty glasses standing around and the staff was completely overwhelmed and walked past us with blinders on. The crowning conclusion after a "naughty" evening was that we asked for the bill 3 times and my partner then received the nice words of the (we assume the HR manager who was standing at the door disinterested and completely out of place) the statement " DUDE I CAN’T WITCH TOO” was snapped at. This was our first and last attempt at this restaurant - it cost us a lifetime and, above all, a lot of money and a lovely evening.

The food and kitchens were good! However, this couldn't hide the fact that we waited over 3 hours (mostly without drinks) for our courses - sitting between tables that loudly complained about the bill and discussed the service provided. Several tables abandoned the menu after the first course. The service staff did their best to calm the situation and is not to blame! The reason was entirely poor organization and a catastrophic reaction to the situation.

Yesterday we had an 'incredible' dining experience at this restaurant. Despite making a reservation in good time, we had to wait another ten minutes for our table to be prepared, not too critical, but it was just the beginning and the impression was already clouding. It's worth noting that this evening there was a one-menu concept for all guests (since it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant was fully booked), which in theory should make it easier to get all dishes to guests in a timely manner. However, the wait time reached record levels and we spent over three hours in the restaurant. Starting with the fact that the first starter arrived 40 minutes after we were seated, and these were just appetizers, was already worrying. This pattern continued with each subsequent walk. But this could be understood and accepted in view of the holiday. However, justification for the service would be difficult to find. The waitress was very unfriendly and responded to our requests as if she was doing us a favor. Requests for napkins, cleaning up of dirty dishes or even cutlery, which should have been taken for granted, were ignored. Only after contacting the manager were we able to experience normal service at this restaurant. Not recommended if you don't want to spoil your holiday meal.

In the end the bill came for the menu + flowers for a total of €208. Luckily we asked because we didn't have any flowers and the amount was probably wrong. Nevertheless, we paid €75 per person instead of €95… the food wasn't even worth half as much as it was appetizers like edamame or karaage. We waited over half an hour per course… for snacks?! Didn't have 5th gear and was still in the store for over 3 hours. Manager was unprofessional. There were a lot of complaints and he didn't see it, but said that it was well signposted. The waitress herself said that it wasn't true. The menu cards we initially received only had drinks on them!

Unfortunately, after the 4th course we were told that these were €75 per person. Which wasn't mentioned before and wasn't mentioned when we booked. So we wanted to talk to the boss who showed no understanding and didn't come to meet us at all and was also very unfriendly! However, he knew he was making a mistake but didn't see it and made us pay for it. So we sat there for 4 hours and waited for the last 2 hours without eating or drinking. The evening was ruined and by many people too as everyone complained. We will never go there again and definitely cannot recommend it! Above all, the portions you got weren't worth the money!

I'm prepared to spend February 14th at Zweigleisig with my girlfriend, a lovely evening with really good food and a great atmosphere. We come from far away and had planned a visit to the restaurant until we decided not to go at all. The food is probably very good and the ambience too, that's why it's 5/5. The service is absolutely underground. On Valentine's Day, the restaurant offers a 5-course special without any information about the food. The minimum order value here is €75 without having the slightest idea what you're getting. No information on the website or Instagram. Even if I wanted to order a la carte, that wouldn't work. When asked what you get to eat, the employee replies: “I’m sorry, I don’t have the menu in front of me.” Really sad for a restaurant in this price category. I don't understand why on a day like this everyone tries to work as uneconomically as possible.

Unfortunately, that was rather two-pronged! After we reserved online for 2 with a price of €75 for 2 people, we also assumed we would pay that price. Unfortunately, we discovered, as did several tables of two around us, that this was a DOUBLE statement because we had to pay twice as much. Delicious food but unfortunately absolutely not worth the price and you feel really ripped off if you expected a different price.

This is not how you imagined going to a restaurant on Valentine's Day! When making a reservation online, you had to specify the number of people and book a menu (for us it was a surprise menu, as there was no further information) for a total of €75, declared as: “SPECIAL OFFERS Valentine's Day Menu - €75.00 Note: only one special offer per reservation. Each package is suitable for the entire table.” Unfortunately, we were neither informed on site that the price was per person, nor did we receive the menu in advance where it was supposed to have been written. So the bad surprise came at the end. Unfortunately there was no proper apology and almost everyone around us understood the price to be per table. Unfortunately, the menu was definitely not worth €75 per person. For 150€ we would have expected something significantly different for sushi. Nuggets and fries don't belong in a menu, even if they contain truffle oil. Furthermore, such an evening can be absolutely planned for a restaurateur thanks to the reservations and the menu and the service was simply bad. No overview of which course you were currently having, eternal waiting times between courses of up to 40 minutes. Reordered drinks were not booked and brought despite asking twice. Also not interested in whether it tasted good. There's nothing the individual can do about it, but things definitely should have been different. All in all, it will probably be the last visit.

Such an incredibly beautiful shop. The atmosphere, the food and the service are simply amazing. In my opinion it is the best sushi in Düsseldorf and I have already explored the whole Oststrasse.

My love for sushi has taken me to many restaurants but the Zweigleisig restaurant has surpassed everything. From the wonderful, stylish and cozy interior to the incredibly attentive and very friendly waiters and bartenders to the best sushi in this city. Every starter, main course or dessert is a taste explosion. Every dish blew us away. The Lillet Wild Berry and the Lugana were also very, very good. The waiters and the bartender were very, very friendly, accommodating and super attentive. We will definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back more often :).

Ich war anfangs skeptisch da ich noch nie die Sushi Küche probiert habe, die Mitarbeiterin hat mir gute Gerichte empfohlen die Avocado Dragon Roll und die Salmon Roll war der Wahnsinn. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und dann geht es weiter mit den Leckereien.

Essen ist meh und es ist zu überteuert. Ein Lachs für 26.9 und ein kleine Menge an Gemüse. Niemand würde davon Satt werden.

Kürzlich besuchte ich das Restaurant Zweigleisig und war beeindruckt: Sowohl das einzigartige Ambiente als auch die hervorragende Qualität der Speisen waren bemerkenswert. Das Personal zeigte sich äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Dragon Roll und die Beef on Fire Roll, die beide geschmacklich ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis boten, eine kulinarische Kreation der besonderen Art. Ich kann dieses Restaurant definitiv empfehlen. Zwar liegen die Preise etwas über dem Durchschnitt, doch die Qualität der Speisen rechtfertigt dies vollkommen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!
