QOMO Restaurant & Bar in Düsseldorf

A MUST-DO when in Düsseldorf! Great view (360°), delicious food (especially the beef tartare and the spicy tuna roll - simply heavenly!), lovely ambiance, and great music! The service was also great - I've seen it a bit more upscale in Hamburg, but the actual waiter was top-notch! Thank you for this wonderful evening! :-) I was blown away!! ❤️🙌

Excellent food, very attentive and friendly service. Star-level. Unfortunately, I have to update my review a bit: The tables in the restaurant have been moved closer together, resulting in more noise and less privacy. Furthermore, on Sundays, they no longer offer brunch menus, but only à la carte, which I personally find very disappointing.

All in all, it was a truly wonderful evening. The food was exquisitely presented and delicious, and the view (especially in the dark) was truly beautiful! The prices were a bit higher, but that's something to be aware of. The only thing that didn't fit the ambiance, in my opinion, was the table of 10 next to us. There was loud shouting and singing, as if you were on a football pitch, which was very distracting. We would definitely come back for special occasions!

This was my second time dining at Qomo, this time with family, and I was absolutely thrilled again! Everything is just perfect for me: the food, the service, and the stunning view from the Rhine Tower. Of course, all of this comes at a price, but it's worth every cent!

The service was extremely good and attentive. The menu was unfortunately a bit "helpful," but the wait staff were extremely helpful. Overall, a successful evening. However, I do deduct a small percentage for the relatively short time window of only two hours at the table (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), as the table was subsequently "sold" again.

The top floor doesn't open until 6:00 PM. This isn't indicated when you buy your ticket.

Went up there for sunset (thankfully the weather was great) – it was truly spectacular. The food was exceptionally good, the service consistently friendly and helpful, although it was relatively busy at times.

Especially for the price, you'd expect good service. Since the rest of the menu was really good, it's a real shame that it lets down because of something like this...

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was not a pleasant experience. Firstly, I called the restaurant the day before, and the waitress said that a reservation was not necessary to show up and reserve a seat. When we arrived (two of us), we waited at the reception desk for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated. We wanted to sit in one of the NUMEROUS empty seats by the window, and a clearly unkempt waiter immediately ran up to us and made a downright rude remark. It turned out that reservations were still required. I'd like to point out that our visit was on a weekday, and many tables were empty and without a "reserved" sign. The food quality was also disappointing. Clearly not the cheapest place, it turned out to be very poor quality. We ordered a salmon roll, and the taste was stale. It clearly tasted like stale cucumber. Disappointing. I also witnessed one of the waiters literally throw menus on the guests' table and simply leave. No one approached us the entire evening to ask if we needed anything else. Of course, no one is obligated to do this, but I believe that in a restaurant of this level and price range, the service should match. Overall, the experience was poor.

A wonderful restaurant, with a unique view, and the food was excellent. We chose a set menu, which was very extensive and of excellent quality. Good wine to go with it, and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

A great restaurant, but when we briefly went out onto the terrace and then came back, our table was already occupied by other guests. So, it wasn't really that great, especially since the wine was still half full... well, it felt as if the waiter had thought we were leaving without paying. They also said we had to sign out to smoke, which was the icing on the cake... well, the wine was gone too...

We were group of 17 persons with a pre booking for a businesses dinner, when we reached the table was not prepared. The restaurant is nice with great 360 view but unfortunately the service and the staff are not up to the level of the place.

How does a restaurant confirm a booking, then refuse to honour it, while asking us to wait over an hour? The interaction carried a very clear xenophobic undertone, and it left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. Completely unacceptable behaviour.

Restaurants like this don’t deserve support when they fail to treat people with basic respect.

Avoid this place - there are much better options in Düsseldorf My partner and I visited Qomo for pre-dinner cocktails with a reservation elsewhere, giving us a 30-minute window. What should have been a quick, enjoyable experience turned into a complete disaster. The Timeline of Poor Service: - 10 minutes just to get a waiter's attention to place our order - Another 20 minutes waiting for cocktails that never arrived - Total: 30 minutes of our limited time wasted Atmosphere Issues: The lounge had no music whatsoever, creating an awkward, lifeless atmosphere that made the long wait even more uncomfortable. Unacceptable Management Response: When we politely explained we needed to leave for our dinner reservation (since our cocktails still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes), the situation escalated dramatically. The waiter became confrontational and dragged us to the manager, who: - Forced us to pay for drinks we never received - Was extremely rude and unprofessional - Lied about the actual waiting times - Showed zero understanding of customer service Bottom Line: Düsseldorf has countless excellent bars and restaurants with professional service and welcoming atmospheres. Save your money and time - go literally anywhere else. Qomo's combination of slow service, poor atmosphere, and hostile management makes it an easy place to avoid. Stay away from this place! Go to Hato- complete opposite!

This was our fourth time there. The food was, as always, outstanding. High quality in the selection of ingredients, in the presentation, and a good touch in the preparation. Compared to the last few times, the service, which was always very friendly and accommodating, seemed a bit overwhelmed or untrained. We received the wrong wine, our starter was served to the next table, something was missing from the main course (and was also almost served to the next table), and we had to ask for cutlery four times. Every mistake was quickly corrected, however, and next time the service and food standards will definitely be the same. Thank you very much!

We absolutely loved the food. Excellent quality, delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. The service was very friendly and incredibly prompt. However, the wrong things were brought to our table, or something was missing, and we waited far too long for the bill. The ambiance, with the sea of ​​lights over the city, is also dreamy. Less so when Düsseldorf's Instagram stars almost fall into your table during their photo posing or are practically having a half-hour private photoshoot. It's distracting.

A great location with a stunning view of Düsseldorf. The floor rotates constantly, so you can see the city from every angle. The service is excellent, the sushi is delicious and completely different from what you'll find elsewhere. The prices are quite affordable. You get a free ticket to go up to the restaurant at the entrance to the Rhine Tower. That's pretty good. The seating area rotates very slowly. It's a bit confusing at first, since the outside and the inside don't rotate. But it's very cool. Service is attentive and professional. We liked the atmosphere. The DJ on Friday with his relatively loud music might not be for everyone, but we liked it. The food is very good. I don't think the menus are perfectly coordinated, but the quality of the products is very good. In my opinion, it's better to order individually. It was a lovely evening with a great view. You should make a reservation or arrive a little late, otherwise you might not get a seat.

In our opinion, it was unfortunately overpriced. The sushi didn't blow us away, and we generally found the selection very limited. It's absolutely not recommended for vegetarians. It's more suited to meat/fish eaters. The only thing that was decent value for money was the desserts and the selection of drinks. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars. I would go back for a drink at the bar and a delicious dessert.

We always have a great time at qomo. We mentioned when booking that we were celebrating our anniversary, and when we ordered dessert, we had a lovely little surprise. The restaurant is quite expensive, and in my opinion, the sushi isn't the best quality. The pieces are small and often fall apart. However, the taste is great. The rest of the dishes are also impressive, both in terms of taste and quality.

The location is certainly unique in Düsseldorf. The food isn't unique; my expectations were higher. Just because Wagyu is on the menu doesn't make it a top-notch menu. The service was plentiful, but I would have liked better attention to customer requests. We were dining with a larger group and opted for half the menus. Unfortunately, the distribution on the table wasn't very unfair, as the people on one side of the table didn't have access to the other side. When we wanted to order a few more small items, this would have only been possible by ordering another menu, which is only available for two people. With a little more flexibility and attention to customer requests, the customers would have been happier, and the cash register would certainly have been fuller.

It was quite good, but not outstanding. The ambiance is, of course, unbeatable and, given the views, impossible to replicate. The food is consistently good and solid, but without any major surprises or special highlights in terms of taste. We had the Kyoto menu plus an appetizer supplement. The appetizer arrived surprisingly quickly, even though it consists of several components. The scallops were delicious and perfectly cooked. Sashimi was very manageable with one piece of mackerel per person, as was the single piece of salmon sushi. The rolls (spicy tuna and pulled beef) were both weak, with too few main dishes and too insignificant in terms of flavor. The main courses were consistently good; both fish and meat were cooked to perfection and tasty. The dessert (cherry chocolate cake) was unfortunately weak in both consistency and flavor. Overall, a rounded-up 3.5 stars. Some things are good here, but by no means everything. The price-performance ratio is borderline, as the quantity and the selected products remain quite reasonable. It's okay to do it once, but it's not a place I need to visit regularly.

You get what you see in the pictures. No question, a superbly impressive view and super friendly staff. There was a pair of us there and we were well treated. Even as younger guests, we were taken seriously and had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, I have to say that the food wasn't really worth the price. Sure, I understand you're paying for the location, and that's fascinating, too. However, we paid €100 per person with a bottle of wine, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The miso soup was 90% spring onions, and even though the soup was good, you only tasted onions. And the creme brulee is made with lemon custard, not vanilla. I guess that depends on the person, but it wasn't what I expected. So: 3 stars for the food on Google. A bit of a high-level nitpicking, but I think it's justified given the price. As a date, as a special evening, it's still highly recommended.👍

Delicious food with a great view.

We went to Qomo for my birthday. We made a reservation in person, but only one person was allowed to use the elevator to the restaurant for free (it would otherwise be €12 per person). My wife had to wait downstairs. It's a shame because my wife has a fear of heights. We would have liked to have "tested" that beforehand, but that wasn't possible. The restaurant can't be blamed for that... But the reservation worked out all the better... we had reserved for a Thursday, and we wanted a table for two in an arc facing the view - we usually sit next to each other in restaurants, not across from each other - it worked out, thank you so much! At 5:45 PM, we finally got into the restaurant. My wife doesn't have a fear of heights - lucky me. The service was super attentive and friendly, with recommendations for delicious cocktails; it couldn't be better. At least for us - the Düsseldorf chic crowd at the next table made you feel sorry for a waiter. The view is sensational... thunderstorms, rain, rainbows, sunset... views of the Rhine, the old town, the Rhine meadows... pure cinema. Starter: ceviche and beef tartar... for over €20, the portions could have been a bit larger... no big deal! Cocktails: sensational... we had a Honshu Sour, a Midnight Sparkles, a Kumo Sour, and a Berini. All delicious and beautifully presented. We then moved on to the main course with spicy edamame and moriawase (24 nigiri, sashimi, and maki). All very tasty, but still a slight downgrade... the sushi on Immermannstraße in Düsseldorf is a whole notch better. For dessert, a dessert platter for two people, containing yuzu crème brûlée, yuzu yogurt & mango mousse, and azuki cheesecake - absolutely delicious. At this point, however, you're starting to feel conflicted. With a starter, main course, and dessert... and a few cocktails before and after, two hours (the length of the reservation) can feel very short. Next time, we'd skip the starter or dessert to simply have more time. All in all, a great experience. The price for two people was around €240. We'd be happy to come back.

The food is truly excellent and well worth the higher price. Unfortunately, for the upscale ambiance, it's very hectic, and we find the 6-8 p.m. table time slot far too short. Unfortunately, the bar seat advertised after 8 p.m. isn't actually available. We were particularly impressed by Alexander's "friendliness."

The view is simply enchanting; you should visit the restaurant for that alone. The food, on the other hand, isn't impressive. On the other hand, the chef's dish—cauliflower in oil—wasn't more than adequate in terms of flavor. The duck in duck salad was a bit old, with a corresponding odor. The sushi is good. The staff was very friendly, even if helpless in this situation.

The food is very good, and the portions are filling. The service is attentive but could be a bit faster. The view is, of course, unbeatable, but the restaurant is too dimly lit. The black walls also need stylish lighting, and since the price per person for a good meal with drinks will definitely run into the three-figure range, I think tablecloths are appropriate. What I didn't like was how chilly the restaurant was. Combined with the black walls and the lack of tablecloths, it doesn't feel very cozy.

The rotating restaurant was great, but I wouldn't recommend it to people who suffer from seasickness. Overall, everything was great. However, I found it a bit inappropriate for the elevator attendant to ask me how much my bill was in a crowded elevator, as I wanted to go to the bar with my girlfriend after the restaurant. I'm sure it can be arranged differently.

Our visit to QOMO was excellent. The beef tartare and avocado with tomato were exquisite. My partner was particularly enthusiastic about the sushi and said it was the best he'd ever tasted. To top it all off, we were completely won over by the Azuki cheesecake—without a doubt the best cheesecake I've ever eaten. Add to that the spectacular views over the city of Düsseldorf, where we were able to enjoy a beautiful and unforgettable sunset. Unfortunately, we're flying back to Spain today; otherwise, we would have loved to come back.

You quickly realize that here, you're paying primarily for the location and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. We had a set menu – the starter was okay, but we had to wait about 45 minutes for the main course. The fish was unfortunately dry and rather disappointing in taste. For the price, we expected considerably more. What was particularly disappointing: the music was much too loud. Normal conversation was almost impossible; even the neighboring table complained about it. Unfortunately, the volume couldn't be adjusted. Service was fine – professional, but not particularly cordial. We also found it a bit disappointing that there were no small gifts from the house for a special occasion. Overall: great surroundings, but the overall package is unfortunately not up to scratch. For us, this was our first and last visit.

The culinary experience is no less impressive: the food is of excellent quality, skillfully prepared, and tastes of the highest caliber. Every course was a delight. The evening was accompanied by a DJ who created just the right atmosphere with stylish music – subtle yet atmospheric. I would particularly like to emphasize the service: attentive, warm, and professional, without ever being intrusive. You feel completely welcome and well looked after. Great view, very very good food

Good food, great view, extremely expensive, even for the quality, limited selection. Poor service. We ate for 300 euros for two. After dinner, we sat at the bar and drank and had to remind them four times to get the drinks bill, which took almost a quarter of an hour. Around 10 p.m., we wanted to leave; one elevator was locked, and the other only went to the observation deck below. They explained to us that one elevator was broken and that they would call the observation deck and ask the other elevator to go down to the restaurant floor. Nothing else happened. At some point, a young man came and took us down in the "broken" elevator and explained that the colleague in charge was ill. We then waited another 15 minutes in vain for the taxi that they had promised to order, which was probably also forgotten. We wasted almost an hour of this Saturday evening, stalling over the bill, struggling with the elevator, and waiting for a taxi. The reasonably good food and the fantastic view didn't make up for the disappointment of the way we treated customers who had spent €350, including drinks. Not recommended. You can also enjoy the view from the observation deck, and you can eat out for less in the Media Harbor.
