Excellent food in a lovely setting. We will definitely come back.

The food was delicious, the sushi was of excellent quality, the service was incredibly friendly and fast, and the view of Düsseldorf and the surrounding area was spectacular. It was just a bit chilly and drafty.

Breathtaking view, pleasant ambiance, friendly staff/service, but the food was unfortunately not recommended (very greasy and inedible). The shrimp in the sushi were neither crispy nor did they taste fresh, and the mango flavor was undetectable. The parsley in the main course was also not fresh. I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but was very disappointed. The food was a culinary disaster. It seemed that neither fresh ingredients nor any care in cooking played a role. For the prices charged, I expected significantly higher quality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will certainly not eat there again.

We dined at the Rheinturm for the second time on December 29, 2025, and were once again very impressed. The food is truly delicious and of a high quality, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly and attentive. The exquisite and elaborate cocktails are also worth mentioning – a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Since the DJ only plays from Thursday to Sunday, relaxed conversations were possible this time, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the tower was completely shrouded in fog, so we couldn't enjoy the otherwise sensational view, but that's to be expected at this time of year. Even so, Qomo is well worth a visit. We'll gladly return.

It was a truly special experience; the view alone was worth every penny. The food was perfect. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was fantastic—super friendly and attentive. After our first seating, we were offered a seat at the bar, which we gladly accepted, and were then able to enjoy a delicious drink. Anyone who wants to experience and taste something special should definitely do this. We were completely satisfied.

Dear QOMO Team, We had reserved a table with you for last night to give our friends from Hamburg a special dinner. In our reservation, we explicitly stated that we would be traveling with an infant in a stroller. It was all the more surprising, therefore, that we were only informed at the elevators in the Rhine Tower that strollers were not permitted due to fire safety regulations. We naturally understood this rule. However, what is difficult to comprehend is that a restaurant of your caliber wouldn't consider it necessary to inform guests of such a significant restriction in advance – at the very latest, when confirming the reservation. After I exchanged the stroller for a car seat, we went back upstairs. There, we had to wait another 20 minutes before two visibly overwhelmed servers showed us to a table. Apparently, our reservation notes hadn't been read. The table itself was extremely cramped. When we asked where we could place the car seat with our baby, we were seriously advised to "just put it in the aisle." When we calmly pointed out that there was a live baby in the car seat, the employee shrugged and walked away without a word. Our request for a larger table, or at least a chair where we could put the car seat, was met with a curt and unfriendly "No." In the end, we had no choice but to pull two tables apart and place our daughter underneath. To make matters worse, we were then refused permission to share the food between the two tables – we were told to "pass it through." After this experience, I must strongly advise against visiting QOMO with a baby. "Not child-friendly" would be the most charitable description. This is especially disappointing given that the food was truly excellent and the view was unparalleled. However, we could hardly enjoy either because my wife constantly had an employee working on a tablet behind her – our table was only centimeters away from a service station. I have invited business partners to the Rhine Tower and QOMO several times in the past. Based on yesterday's experience, this will no longer be the case for the foreseeable future. In conclusion: very good food, an impressive view – but service that falls far short of the standards expected of a fine-dining restaurant.

Our visit to QOMO was a highlight in several respects. The food was excellent, the team very friendly and accommodating, even to our child, and the atmosphere was exceptional. Fortunately, the snow showers from earlier in the day had subsided, giving us an unobstructed view of Düsseldorf at night.

This meal was incredibly memorable for us. We visited QOMO for an 8.30 reservation. We were asked to stay at the bottom of the Rhine Tower for 20mins due to heavy people traffic which wasnt the best start to our night. But once we were up on the restaurant floor there were no issues and we were shown to our seats. The view is incredible and the rotating floor is subtle, the view really is remarkable. The food and service were also great. We as a family of three preferred our starters over mains. The maki roll sushis were really tasty and we also loved the crab salad. The chicken was nice and the sea bass was also cooked well. A very memorable meal, just a shame about the delayed start. But staff did what they could to not cause further disruption.

Coffee was ok. Cake was good. Way too busy. Too many people on the floor. 2 people trying to serv. No waiter's. View was very good. There should be a limit of people that are allowed to go up. Elevator service was very good.

The table wobbled so much that drinks couldn't be placed on it. The view from the tower was, of course, particularly beautiful.

We found a 3cm long, sharp piece of plastic in our dessert, waited an unreasonably long time for our food, and to top it all off, we – a group of 10 – were herded into a lounge because other guests were apparently waiting for their table (we had a reservation), even though not everyone had finished their desserts… This is simply outrageous and unacceptable in such an establishment! We were asked, as passersby, to get up in the middle of enjoying our dessert, pack our things, and go to another area (a small waiting area) – where, incidentally, there wasn't even room for three people :) Now for the good things: besides the fabulous view, the food was quite okay despite the exorbitant prices, and the elevator operator was funny.

Went with my children - they loved the view (of course that was the main attraction) but were very happy with the food as well. Personally I really enjoyed the gyozas and the lamb chops with the Tempranillo wine. Our hostess and her colleagues were very kind to the children which made the experience even better.

A wonderful evening and definitely worth a longer journey.

We had a lovely evening. The food was good – nothing extraordinary, but everything was tasty and delicious. 👌🏼 Not a good option if you don't want fish or meat as a main course.

We went here for Christmas diner and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing atmosphere and food. When i asked for gluten free possibilities they gave me the gluten free menu which had plenty of options to choose from! The views were incredible and the food was delicious.

Beyond disappointing. Here's a brief excerpt from our visit: Miso soup... Lukewarm to cold water with a bit of color and onions would be a more accurate description. We sent it back. Lukewarm lamb. The sushi wasn't particularly tasty. Tex-Mex style potatoes with corn? Um... Why? The service was completely unmotivated and unfriendly. The edamame tasted like MSG... And completely overpriced, especially considering the quality. The view didn't redeem it at all. Never again for us.

We got the Osaka menu. Great flavors, and good amount. Service was on point, I was a bit confused whether they close at 4 or 5 on Sunday though…. Bonus points for the sour signature drink! And we could also try the sake before deciding on which one. Perfect spot for a celebration, dinner date or lunch with a view :) My only thought was the lack of menstrual products in the bathroom (I think important for such a high end establishment!, besides the rituals products which smelled amazing)

An exceptional location, likely reserved for special occasions – the spectacular view over Düsseldorf is sensational and impressive both day and night. There are (almost) only premium seats with unobstructed views of the city. The very attractive furniture could be spaced a little further apart in some places to avoid the need for staff to maneuver while serving. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is of exceptional quality. It goes without saying that all this comes at a price. We had a wonderful birthday dinner here and will certainly return for special occasions!

Quite a bit of money for the food, and it's not particularly special. The location and the revolving restaurant are a lot of fun, though!

Beautiful location. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the value for money were not good. Even for birthday dessert, the customer had to pay for it themselves! Another annoyance: the customer also had to pay for the electricity used to charge their iPhone. A real shame: the location is on Stromstrasse!

The view is truly impressive. The prices are correspondingly high; you're clearly paying for the experience and the view.

The restaurant is nice, but there are a few things that are really strange and outrageous: On my first visit, I had to pay an entrance fee downstairs even though I explicitly said I wanted to go to the restaurant. My friend was already upstairs waiting and later said he hadn't had to pay anything downstairs. On my second visit, we went back again, and we were immediately told with a grin that it was "too full." I didn't quite believe the gentleman and called upstairs to see if there was room for three people, and lo and behold, there was still plenty of space, and we could go up. When we arrived upstairs, there were many empty tables both at the bar and by the window. Quite embarrassing for the receptionist… :-) The service was very slow, and after the first round of drinks, the waiter came to me, slapped down the bill, and asked how I wanted to pay. As far as I know, you're supposed to ask first if you'd like to order anything else. There wasn't even a thank you. I really like the ambiance and the cocktails, but the reception and service need to improve. It doesn't matter if young women come or other guests, please treat everyone with respect and professionalism.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. Immediately after eating, I experienced severe gastrointestinal distress and abdominal pain, which worsened considerably the following day. I also suffered from nausea and dizziness. My companion had similar symptoms after eating there. I contacted the restaurant and was informed that other guests had also complained of stomach problems. They emphasized that the food was fresh. However, based on our experience and the complaints of several other guests, this raises serious doubts about the quality. What was particularly disappointing for me was that I couldn't even go to the Christmas market on my birthday due to my poor health. Overall, it was a very negative experience that we hadn't anticipated.

We had very dinner at this place! Waiters are very nice and explains everything. Very calming. They dont rush it, very relaxed dinner. We will come back in future!

Beautiful view over Düsseldorf. The food was delicious but also very expensive. A slice of fish with spinach costs around 50 euros or more. Incredibly expensive.

Great atmosphere and delicious food at over 170 meters altitude. Top-notch!

First off, you definitely pay more for the view, which is fine. What I didn't agree with was the quality of the food for the price, and especially the dessert. It was truly awful. The staff wasn't attentive; I had to call them several times. Simply checking if everything was okay was out of the question. For the price, that's unacceptable. Nevertheless, it's worth experiencing at least once.

Why travel far when the best is so close at hand? Why go to New York, London, or Las Vegas? 😉 Düsseldorf's Rhine Tower offers breathtaking views of the city and a unique atmosphere, especially beautiful on clear days. The combination of excellent Japanese cuisine, attentive service, and the opportunity to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view from the revolving platform makes this a truly special place. This location is highly recommended for both locals and visitors.

Amazing settings, good food, service ok

We went there to celebrate our special day, and everything was excellent. The sweet surprise made us very happy. From the service to the food, everything was extremely attentive and delicious.

A special place with undoubtedly wonderful cuisine and an equally excellent service team. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the prices are slightly excessive.

Great service, perfect atmosphere, and the food was really good too. It was our first time there, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We wanted it to be something special, and we weren't disappointed. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. They could tell we weren't regulars at these kinds of places, but they didn't make us feel that way at all. Everything was very professional. We're looking forward to our next visit.

The food was very good and delicious, as well as beautifully presented. The location is definitely worth seeing. The service varied greatly from one server to another. Our server was clearly stressed and curt, and consequently, he just sort of threw everything onto the table. His colleague was friendly and attentive, and did a great job with the food, drinks, and pouring. However, because of this, I couldn't give the full 10% tip.

We visited Qomo for the fourth time this evening and are unfortunately not sure if we'll return. The ambiance and the view are breathtaking and THE big unique selling point. As always, we were very satisfied with the food, even though, in our experience, the prices are not reasonable. The cocktails are world-class. What really bothered us, however, was the behavior of some of the staff. Upon arrival, you get the feeling of being treated condescendingly. When ordering food, pressure is applied to order more. ("You know the skewers are very small? You don't want any more?" + "You really don't want a side dish?" (including a grimace)) We ordered: mashed potatoes + chicken skewers + sushi + duck breast + one dessert per person + three cocktails + one beer + one cappuccino. This was perfectly sufficient for us to be satisfied. We were also repeatedly offered a bottle of water, which we had to decline several times. Unfortunately, this behavior somewhat dampened the mood of our anniversary celebration. This urgently needs improvement, as this is not the first time it has happened. Otherwise, it's completely unacceptable. However, I would like to commend another member of staff for their dedication and friendliness.

Dining at an expensive restaurant in an extraordinary location! The magnificent view (in good weather) over Düsseldorf and the surrounding area justifies at least part of the high price. €15-18 for a cocktail, €79 for a three-course meal—that's quite a statement for a lunch that, while tasty, wasn't exactly exquisite. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the positive impression was marred by the somewhat clumsy and disrespectful young receptionist, who dropped our coats on the floor and hung them up in such a way that they were partially lying on the ground. "Not so bad" is quite an insult. In short: It's okay if you want to enjoy the great view, but you can probably find better Japanese food elsewhere. P.S.: If I, as a guest, spend over €200, I expect that some poorly trained employees won't drop my coat in the dirt. And then claim I'm blind.

22/11/2025 Im from Spain I went to Germany with my girlfriend who is actually from there but she has never been in Quomo so I chose to go with her to this restaurant to make more offical our relation and have a special night. As soon as the elevator opened and we entered the restaurant we’ve already fallen in love with the place that beauty, that style, the lights, the music from 80s 90s with that Dj. We were sitting by the window, admiring the views. The waiter who served us during the evening was Alex, lovely, friendly and very professional good treat,mention that the restaurant is full of people but he did it perfect. What we ate was: - Spicy edamame -Wagyu beef gyoza -Broccolini spicy sesam sauce -Black angus ribeye wafu sauce The drinks: -1 bottle of water -1 bottle of spanish wine Rioja reserva tempranillo Dessert: -The dessert platea for two. The food they have is very good, congratulations to all the cooks they have in that kitchen because everything was perfect. Quality and good presentation This restaurant is top quality. Very good price for everything this restaurant offers. We will definitely repeat in January. Hope to see you again the 3 of January Alex.

Of course, the restaurant, or rather the TV tower, is a beautiful location. But it's a sure thing. They could just as easily have a fast-food stand as a tenant. The service is okay, but not commensurate with the price range. The quality of the food is actually quite decent. Personally, I just don't think the value for money and the portion sizes are good. There are much better restaurants in Düsseldorf. I understand the negative reviews, but you shouldn't let the location fool you when it comes to the quality and price of the food. Therefore, for me, it's just average, nothing more. Good food at a significantly inflated price. We enjoy eating out at good, expensive restaurants, but then the whole package has to be right.

We spontaneously decided to reserve a table at Qomo and were lucky enough to find that it wasn't fully booked. The ambiance, especially after dark, is simply magical. All the staff were incredibly friendly and dedicated to ensuring guests had a wonderful evening, which they absolutely succeeded in doing. Used dishes and cutlery were constantly being replaced, and the overall service was very attentive. I also appreciated that guests at Qomo didn't have to pay for the elevator. That was quite different many years ago, back in the days of the Deutsche Mark. A staff member took our coats and gave us a token, preventing any mix-ups. I found that almost exceptional. The drinks selection was very varied, and the non-alcoholic cocktail I had was very refreshing and delicious. The only criticism I have is that the menu has so many tempting dishes that it's hard to choose! 😄 We ended up choosing a few dishes that I think gave a good cross-section of the menu. I couldn't single anything out because everything we ate was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. However, I can recommend saving some room for the amazing chocolate lava cake. You shouldn't miss it! 👍 We'll definitely be back to Qomo soon!

We were very satisfied with everything.

The appetizer included edamame, which you had to chew on the strings before lying down on your plate. The main course, a "baby chicken," contained tendons and cartilage. The portion size was adequate, but constantly having to spit things out wasn't pleasant. The staff simply acknowledged it. The drinks only arrived after repeated requests, and the cappuccino was lukewarm.

Seating is a bit cramped these days, but the food and service are very good, and the ambiance and view are fantastic. Around 6 pm there are a lot of children, so it gets a bit noisy.

A wonderful place to share special occasions with wonderful people. Being able to look out over Düsseldorf's cityscape after dark is an experience in itself. The sushi (36-piece platter) we ordered was probably the most delicious I've ever eaten. My companion was equally impressed. Excellent service from the moment we arrived until we left the restaurant. Unfortunately, you only have two hours to eat. After that, you have the option of sitting at the bar. Perhaps this could be extended to three hours in the future.

Very qualitative and delicious food, nice atmosphere and great scenery.

It was a fantastic evening. The atmosphere and service were superb. The food was first-class, even for those who don't usually like sushi. The set menu (Osaka) is highly recommended. The lamb chops are also highly recommended à la carte. Everything was perfect!

Absolutely disappointing! We called the restaurant beforehand and were told we could just drop in. When we arrived, they suddenly said it was full, so we had to wait over 30 minutes. After that, they seated us at a table, and then the staff rudely tried to send us away, saying, "Well, tough luck." Unbelievable, especially since they were the ones who seated us there. Our food was forgotten twice, and the side dish was missing again. It only arrived after we pointed it out twice – 30 minutes later. The taste was just as bad: the sushi tasted like it was a week old, and the meat tasted like a frozen schnitzel from a deep fryer. Chaotic service, rude staff, and extremely bad food. Absolutely not recommended!

This was our third visit. This time it was disappointing. Food: The fish (maki, nigiri) was excellent. The Wagyu (roll) wasn't pink, tender, and melting, but overcooked and tough, if it was even Wagyu at all. The prawn (fried roll) was also tough, not crispy/not freshly prepared. Service: Inattentive, far too hectic at the table; one of my guests even had a glass of sake spilled on his dress. Atmosphere: The music was unpleasantly loud, making conversation difficult.

A truly wonderful evening with fantastic food and wonderful hosts. We had a beautiful table in a circular area, where we could enjoy the view over Düsseldorf. We have rarely experienced such friendly, pleasant, and relaxed service. Thank you so much, we will gladly come again!

The Kyoto menu price of €89 seems high at first glance, but considering the wonderful ambiance, the very attentive service, and the truly excellent quality of the food, I think the price is quite reasonable. It's almost a bargain compared to other restaurants. My only criticism is that the 6:00 PM booking only allows two hours, which makes the service feel rather rushed. Frankly, I find the one-star rating from another visitor to be outrageous; don't let it put you off.

The food was good, but not outstanding. The dessert was the best part. The service was friendly. The view was, of course, fantastic and highly recommended. Overall, I couldn't really enjoy the visit because it was very cold in the dining area. I went home completely frozen.

For those with the necessary funds and a taste for Japanese food, it's a dream come true. We only visit Qomo when there's a real reason to celebrate. Then the Rhine Tower provides a fitting setting.

In the past, we mainly went to Qomo for the ambiance and the view. Unfortunately, they've since added even more tables, practically cramming them in. This means you're sitting almost back-to-back with the next table, leaving no room to walk between them. We even had to ask the next table to move their chairs so we could sit down at all. Even the staff have to take detours to reach the guests. For this price range, this is simply unacceptable. Therefore, we're only giving the ambiance 2 points. It's a shame, because Qomo used to be one of our favorite spots in Düsseldorf!

The ambiance and the view are unique and beautiful, but unfortunately the food was not good. The sushi was rather average to bad, and the soup as a starter was truly inedible. It's a real shame, as the server didn't seem to care about the bad soup, and we would never again pay €130 for a mediocre meal that was, in part, even bad. The view is nice, but you could have had the same view one floor down without eating. We were there a few years ago, and the food was significantly better then. It's a real shame; we were disappointed!

All good, but I got a little dizzy because the restaurant is constantly spinning, as it rotates at 360 degrees while you eat.

Great restaurant, excellent food, and super friendly staff. Because of the large amount of glass surrounding the room, it's quite loud, and therefore you get a lot of noise. However, we were able to chat quietly, even though there were only two of us. With more than four people at a table, the sound can be more difficult.

Fantastic and friendly staff for our dinner reservation at 6PM. Food was delicious with very good portion. Ambience and atmosphere were very nice. We appreciate the staff for letting us sit on the table facing the window, to view the beautiful river and city. A truly special experience! First, you're whisked up 170 meters in the elevator – the ride is so fast you feel a bit of pressure in your ears. Once you reach the top, you can leave your coats and are then politely shown to your table. The highlight, of course, is the fantastic view over Düsseldorf and far beyond. The outer ring, on which the tables are located, rotates a full 70 minutes or so – so you constantly discover new perspectives and wonder what you're seeing. It's beautiful in the dark, but we'll definitely come back in daylight! The bar with a few tables is located in the inner, fixed area. The restrooms are right by the entrance, but you can easily walk through the rings to get there. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and they were happy to explain things like where you can see the airport or what exactly "Japanese fusion style" means – sharing dishes at the table is encouraged, but of course, it's not mandatory. The food was very good overall – we were particularly impressed by the gyozas, the steak, and the cocktails. The duck salad wasn't quite to my taste, but the edamame more than made up for it. The dessert, "Yuzu Yogurt with Mango Mousse," was a lovely ending, and the wait times were pleasantly short. Tip: There's a viewing platform below the restaurant – definitely worth checking out!

We had made a reservation. The reception downstairs by the elevator seemed unprofessional. It was noticeable that supposed VIP guests were given preferential treatment and allowed to go upstairs immediately, while we had to wait. Upstairs, we were greeted by an usher who wanted to assign us the first available table, even though there were plenty of empty seats. At the table, we also had to wait quite a while before we received our menus and could order drinks. The cocktails tasted very good, but there was no straw. After asking the waitresses twice, I approached the usher, who simply told me that she was "part of management" and not responsible for such things. This came across as unnecessarily arrogant. The food was good, and the view was, of course, a highlight. Overall, however, one gets the impression that both guests and staff take themselves too seriously. Conclusion: A visit is worthwhile for the view and the food, but the service and atmosphere leave much to be desired – hence, not five stars.

Incredibly beautiful panoramic view! The food was beautifully presented and we all loved it. The interior and ambiance are a work of art. It was truly wonderful at the Rhine Tower. Prices are to be expected…
