Unique ambience, very tasty fusion cuisine combined with the extraordinary feeling of being above things made us experience a wonderful evening on August 25th, 2024. Our companion that evening was called Alex and he was excellent and charming to serve. Be sure to try the sake and the daily recommendations. We were thrilled!

A unique experience. You definitely pay a good price for the location and service - but it's worth it.

It was an impressive visit to the Rhine Tower and the Qomo Restaurant. We were greeted in the elevator by the very nice helper and taken upstairs. First of all, thank you very much for that!! The location, the ambience and the view of the sunset from the restaurant are of course breathtaking. We had a very nice waitress who served us extremely friendly throughout the evening. Japanese cuisine was new to us, so we decided on a menu to simply surprise ourselves and try it out. It was super delicious! A compliment to the chef!

The atmosphere was great as was the view and the food was really delicious. 1 star deducted for the portion sizes, especially the main course. For 38€ I think it's stupid not to get a filling side dish but really only 3 lamb chops. (The taste was still great) Maybe the dish wasn't declared as a main course in the menu but there should be a little more for the price. Unfortunately, another star deducted for the service. The waitress wasn't super friendly at the beginning, which wasn't a bad thing at first. As already mentioned, we were not satisfied with the portion sizes and therefore did not leave a tip. Of course the waitress can't do anything about the portions but in Germany you are still not forced to give a tip and we would then be asked if something was wrong which is why we didn't give a tip. I've been a waiter myself and it never occurred to me to ask a guest something like that just because he didn't leave a tip, and why? Because it puts the guest in an uncomfortable situation. It doesn't really matter whether something was really wrong or whether you just don't want to tip. I left Qomo because I was just uncomfortable. We weren't completely satisfied, so no tip, but even if everything had been great, it's still the guest's decision. Prices in Germany have shot through the roof, so the catering industry has to understand that tips are no longer always included. Nevertheless, we would go again to try one of the menus.

I discovered this location by chance and visited on my birthday 4 years ago. Since then it has been my absolute favorite restaurant. I come here at least twice a year: once at lunchtime and once in the evening to enjoy the views at different times of the day. The view is truly breathtaking and the fact that the floor rotates 360 degrees makes the experience unique. The food is excellent and this is where I discovered my love for sushi. But not only the sushi, but also all the other dishes here are incredibly delicious. I choose the multi-course menu every time and am always amazed at how delicious everything is prepared. The best dessert I have ever eaten was also here – green tiramisu. In addition, the staff are extremely friendly and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique dining experience in stunning surroundings.

I was delighted to be invited to Quomo. Therefore I can't say anything about the process of the reservation. The ambience speaks for itself. Enjoy the view all around. Given the high prices, you not only expect excellent food, but also professional staff. Quickly brought to our reserved table, we were quickly served the first course of our selected Kyoto menu. We would have liked to have taken a little more time to enjoy our aperitif, champagne from Tattinger. Well, the staff wants to finish too :)… Basically we enjoyed it and were full. When we asked, we were told how to eat the soybeans (Edamere). There was a lot of that. A note when serving would be an advantage. Unfortunately all the sushi served was the same. Which I think is a shame. However, we didn't like the chard, it was overcooked, very dry and strawy. The sauce served with the main course also didn't match our taste with the excellent meat. All in all, I think the price-performance ratio is too high. It seems to me like system catering at a high level. To enjoy the magnificent view over Düsseldorf, all you need to do is visit the bar one floor below. If you want to have an excellent meal, I would prefer other restaurants.

Incomparable ambience, good food and friendly staff. For us, the 2-hour slot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. was enough; we went to the bar completely relaxed and had a cocktail. The food was very good, but that was to be expected given the prices. Since the restaurant area rotates clockwise once in about 80 minutes, you have a different view of the surrounding area and Düsseldorf every few minutes. Seeing Cologne Cathedral when you're sitting in a restaurant in Düsseldorf is... unique:)

View-wise, it was a beautiful experience and I recommend it

We were in the restaurant on a stormy evening and the atmosphere was great, with lightning all around you and you floating over the river. Food was also wonderful, we had one of the two evening menus for 2 people. The service was very accommodating and we got one of the best tables for our anniversary. The only criticism: There are stickers on some windows that ask you to take photos for Instagram, they seem a little tacky. And we had to wait about 15 minutes until we could take the elevator back down, even though there wasn't much going on.

This restaurant is a really great and good one. I was blown away. Really, it was very, very nice! We will be back and have already warmly recommended it to many people. The food is simply great, as is the service and drinks too. There is nothing, simply nothing, that can be said against this great restaurant.

The view is enchanting and also the main reason for our visit. We were very excited about the food. However, we didn't like most of it. Sushi a complete disaster. In one roll the sushi rice was still hard and the fried shrimp wasn't fresh. Water dripped down the other roll and the sushi rice was totally mushy. The cocktails tasted like water. The service was OK. We would go again but only for a coffee at the bar.

The restaurant is of course very nicely located and also looks good from the inside. The ordering of the food was beyond confused. There was no clear line from the staff and as it happened, the food was not complete. Everyone was halfway through eating when the missing leftovers arrived. Not only that, out of convenience, not every guest was brought the food they ordered. You were given plates on the table where you had to guess what was from whom and what was ordered by who. Just bring everyone the food on their plate that they want to eat. Where is the problem? Your so-called slots in execution don't work at all. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the end we were asked for dessert and we didn't want any, but we still had drinks on the table and we were given the bill without asking and then asked how we wanted to pay. When asked, Kellner gave a vague explanation as to why this was done this way. I left over €500 with you. Well, the tips were limited, as was the service. You won't be making money in Düsseldorf for much longer. An impudence. You used to be good, but it doesn't seem to be that way anymore. It's a shame about the good cuisine.

Wir waren zu einem Event mit Champagnerverköstigung dort. An dem Essen gab es nichts auszusetzen, alle Gänge waren frisch und lecker. Das Personal war am Ende beim Bezahlvorgang etwas überfordert. Deshalb auch nur die 4 Sterne. Aussicht und sonstiges Ambiente schlagen sich halt im sehr hohen Preis nieder. An anderer Stelle wäre der Preis deutlich zu hoch gewesen.

Well, we already knew that the atmosphere was right. Because such a uniquely located restaurant in the Rhine Tower should be something better. The service was - apart from one unpleasant reception - very friendly and attentive. But I have to make compromises when it comes to the food. It should have been much better! Well, maybe next time?

Der Besuch hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Man hat eine Wahnsinns Aussicht und das Drehen des Restaurants ist sehr toll. Das Essen war wirklich klasse und auch der Service war sehr angenehm. Einzig der Fakt das ich hier bei OpenTable angegeben hatte, das der Anlass ein Geburstag ist und im Restaurant dies bezüglich nichts getan wurde war ein wenig doof, da als wir gingen wir gesehen haben das ein anderer Tisch einen kleinen Kuchen aus der Küche bekam, wohl auch zu einem Geburtstag. Wir sind auch so satt geworden, allerdings wäre es natürlich schön gewesen für meine Freundin. Alles in allem war der Abend aber natürlich wunderbar und das Qomo ist mehr als nur zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder, wenn genug Geld da ist :)

Einzigartiges Ambiente, sehr aufmerksamer Service, ein im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Highlight für besondere Anlässe

Wir waren am Samstagabend um 20:30 Uhr da und es war für uns zu laut mit dem DJ Set. Zudem standen entsprechende Gäste im Bar Bereich herum, die auch ständig um die Tische gelaufen sind. Das Menu für zwei für 158€ war solala. Die Hälfte des Preise wäre eventuell angemessen. Service sehr schlecht. Nach einer Weinempfehlunh braucht man gar nicht erst fragen, da hat leider keiner was eine Ahnung. Wir würden nicht mehr wieder kommen. Dann lieber in ein richtiges fine dining / japanisches Restaurant was nicht im Fernsehturm ist und man entsprechend zahlt.

A great experience - and also surprisingly good in terms of cuisine 👍 We were really positively surprised, as you often can't expect much when it comes to food at locations like this, which score points based on location and experience. But that wasn't the case here. Of course you have to reserve in advance, but then you get a table with a great view (every table has a view and the level rotates so you get a 360 degree view). The ambience is modern-chic, you feel very comfortable and have your privacy at the table. The service is top, very attentive, quick and friendly. The selection of drinks and food is large. The focus is on Asian fusion cuisine. We didn't know the drinks we had before, but we really enjoyed them. We recommend! The food was very tasty (like the sushi and the edamame), but the ceviche and the dessert (panna cotta) disappointed us a bit. The food and drinks are presented very beautifully, and as we all know, the eye is also impressed. Priced completely appropriate for the experience and level. We really enjoyed being there and will definitely come back again.

Worst sushi I've ever eaten, overpriced and well

Ich und meine Familie erlebten an einem Abend im bekannten Turmrestaurant in Düsseldorf eine unangenehme Überraschung. Seit über vierzehn Jahren gehört ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant zu unserer Familientradition. Diesmal jedoch wurde die Feier zum achtzehnten Geburtstag eines Familienmitglieds abrupt gestört. Wir hatten für fünf Personen einen Tisch auf 20 Uhr reserviert, um eine angenehme Feier ohne Zeitdruck zu genießen. Wir kamen etwas früher an und unser Tisch war bereits gedeckt. Mit drei Generationen am Tisch genossen wir zunächst den Abend. Gegen 21 Uhr belief sich die Rechnung auf 386 Euro. Zwei weitere Cocktails waren gerade bestellt und serviert worden, und wir überlegten, welches Dessert wir wählen wollten. In diesem Moment wurden die Teller der Hauptspeise abgeräumt und die Feier nahm eine unerwartete Wendung. Ein Mitarbeiter des Restaurants forderte uns laut und mit eindeutigen Gesten auf, den Tisch sofort zu verlassen, da die nächste Tischbelegung bereits eingetroffen sei. Der Mitarbeiter stellte sich hinter die Damen unserer Familie und erklärte, er würde uns zu anderen Tischen begleiten, während er bereits unsere Mäntel nahm. Keine Frage, wie lange wir noch bleiben wollten, keine Rücksicht auf die laufende Feier. Wir waren schockiert und fühlten uns wie "Essroboter" behandelt. Reflexartig standen wir auf und ich wies den Mitarbeiter darauf hin, dass wir den Tisch mindestens für zwei Stunden reserviert hatten. In der kurzen Zeitspanne, in der dies geschah, wurden unsere Plätze bereits von anderen Gästen eingenommen, sodass eine Rückkehr an unseren ursprünglichen Tisch nicht mehr möglich war. Das Restaurant stellte den Vorfall als Missverständnis dar und bot eine Dessertplatte als Entschuldigung an. Doch die Stimmung der Feier war bereits zerstört, besonders da zwei Familienmitglieder extra angereist waren. Die Entschuldigung und das Angebot konnten den Schaden nicht wiedergutmachen. Wir vermuten, dass wir des Tisches verwiesen wurden, weil wir mit der Hauptspeise fertig waren und das Restaurant darauf spekulierte, dass wir keine Szene machen würden. Die Tischbelegung erfolgt laut Restaurantvorgaben um 18:00, 20:00 und 22:00 Uhr, ein Wechsel vor 21:00 Uhr sei nicht vorgesehen. Wir fordern nun eine Rückerstattung des Rechnungsbetrages und lehnen einen Gutschein als Wiedergutmachung ab. Der Vorfall wirft Fragen zur Gastfreundschaft und dem Umgang mit langjährigen Gästen im Turmrestaurant auf.

Just don't go to the toilet, otherwise the table will be taken. My family and I experienced an unpleasant surprise one evening in the well-known Turmrestaurant in Düsseldorf. A visit to this restaurant has been part of our family tradition for over fourteen years. This time, however, a family member's eighteenth birthday celebration was abruptly disrupted. We had reserved a table for five people at 8 p.m. in order to enjoy a pleasant celebration without time pressure. We arrived a little early and our table was already set. With three generations at the table, we initially enjoyed the evening. At around 9 p.m. the bill came to 386 euros. Two more cocktails had just been ordered and served and we were debating which dessert we wanted to choose. At that moment, the main course plates were cleared away and the celebration took an unexpected turn. An employee of the restaurant asked us loudly and with clear gestures to leave the table immediately because the next table had already arrived. The employee stood behind the ladies in our family and explained he would accompany us to other tables while he was already taking our coats. No question about how long we wanted to stay, no consideration for the ongoing celebration. We were shocked and felt like we were being treated like "eating robots". We reflexively stood up and I pointed out to the employee that we had reserved the table for at least two hours. In the short period of time in which this occurred, our seats had already been taken by other guests, making it impossible to return to our original table. The restaurant portrayed the incident as a misunderstanding and offered a dessert platter as an apology. But the atmosphere of the celebration was already ruined, especially since two family members had come specially. The apology and the offer could not repair the damage. We suspect we were turned away because we had finished the main course and the restaurant was banking on us not making a scene. According to restaurant guidelines, tables are occupied at 6:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and there are no plans to change tables before 9:00 p.m. We are now demanding a refund of the invoice amount and reject a voucher as compensation. The incident raises questions about hospitality and the treatment of long-standing guests in the tower restaurant. Best regards

First time in Dusseldorf in couple. Decided to start trip with diner in this restaurant in the evening, to discover the city landscape at night. Was really amazed by the experience. Thought I would find a 'touristic' restaurant but not the case at all. Fancy restaurant, excellent fusion food and cooking, excellent wine, perfect service with fair advices on food and wine, not trying to make you overspend money. Just be aware - but it's normal - that you land in a very good restaurant in a exceptional place. So prices are set accordingly, but worths it. Strong positive recommandation.

We recently visited an upscale Qomo restaurant for a special occasion, which despite its high price and attentive service, failed to meet our expectations. With two reservations on the same evening, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the atmosphere was hectic and uncomfortable from the start. Shortly after our arrival, we were informed several times that we could only use the table until 8 p.m. These repeated reminders added significantly to the unrest and made us unable to shake the feeling of being unwelcome. We had to eat our entire meal within two hours, turning dinner into a stressful race against time. The food itself was served at breakneck speed. As soon as we finished the starter, the main course followed immediately. This rush left no room for enjoyment or conversation. The compulsion to consume everything quickly took away any food culture and the hoped-for experience from the entire evening. Despite these shortcomings, it must be mentioned that the service tried very hard to do everything right. We were even offered a table in the bar so we could enjoy our dessert there after dinner. However, this nice attempt couldn't completely make up for the overall unpleasant experience. In summary, the visit to this expensive restaurant was disappointing. Despite the high prices and friendly service, it lacked the relaxed atmosphere necessary for a memorable dining experience. It is unfortunate that the focus was on processing guests quickly rather than giving them the opportunity to truly enjoy the evening.

After my two visits I would also like to share my opinion about the restaurant with you, the view there is nothing wrong with saying it is simply impressive... we immediately felt very comfortable here and felt like we were at home as guests. The food is of a very high quality and tastes simply sensational, the wine list is very diverse and you can always find something new. We are always happy to come back. Thanks to the whole team, especially Thomas, who tried very hard to make everyone feel very comfortable

Ambiance is indescribably beautiful. You have to experience it once. Service excellent and very attentive. The food, from starter to dessert, was a 10 out of 10. Only one star deducted because I didn't leave the restaurant 100 percent full. Prices were rather high, so we decided against a second main course.

The location is unique without a lot of talk around it and you get something on offer - the service is also good, friendly and does its best - but the food, if you have already been experienced in fine dining, does not do justice to the relatively high price - the two menus in Osaka and Kyoto in particular leave a lot to be desired - they don't fill you up - and there's nothing else that blows you away - there's no WOW effect. Overall, it was worth an experience, especially because of the rotating view, but from a culinary point of view, a second visit is not necessary.

Best view in all of Düsseldorf. An absolute must for all visiting! The sushi with avocado and truffle and the beef sushi was so delicious.

Incredibly beautiful location with great quality. The service was perfect all around. From a call the day before, to on site. Our service employee gave us wonderful advice and did a great job overall, which is something you rarely experience so well.

Spectacular! Food good to sometimes very good, large selection. Unfortunately a bit expensive, as you have to order a side dish for €9 for a €30 salmon (hence only 4*). The four of us spent €320 + tip. However, the view from a height of 173m is spectacular and puts the price into perspective. The direct proximity to the Rhine promenade and the old town also offers great options for the “after hour”.

The ambience was great, the staff was very, very nice and the food was absolutely delicious. The chocolate fondant for dessert was especially delicious.

From the elevator we were greeted with a very warm welcome and the ambience was perfect. We were seated immediately & enjoyed the constantly changing beautiful view. Unfortunately, we did not find the food to be as amazing as we had seen written about. The Beef tartar made the birthday boy sick and the food in general was just ok. I was really excited and we love food so this was quite disappointing. We did return to try an appetizer and desert with some other friends and I wish we could say the food experience was better, but we can not. I think this is a great restaurant for drinks, the ambiance, and views. I would start our night out there but do not see us returning for dinner.

At the start of our vacation we reserved a table for two people. The first highlight was the way to the restaurant via the express elevators, which takes you to the restaurant in just a few seconds. You will be warmly welcomed and taken to your seat where you will then experience the second highlight, namely the magnificent view. The floor is designed as a turntable so that you can get an “all-round view” of Düsseldorf. One round lasts about 1 hour. You are warmly welcomed at the table and the waitress introduces herself including an explanation of the process, how to order, etc. We felt very comfortable and ordered across the menu. You also have the option of ordering ready-made menus. The third highlight of the evening was definitely the food, everything was super fresh, really well prepared and the taste was indescribable. Orders ranged from edamame beans to nirigiri to wagyu beef. Of course, here are a few photos. The service was also great, we never felt forgotten and we were always asked if everything fit and was good. After 2 hours we got the bill brought to the table. Absolutely fair price for this fantastic evening. We definitely recommend Qomo and won't eat there for the last time. Please continue

The service was very friendly with some Genk flavors and exceptionally beautiful dishes. The counter was beautifully decorated with roses. The only thing that could match this beauty was the blonde waitress behind this counter.

Food is mediocre nothing special. Over priced but I guess this is for the view. Service is very bad getting drinks wrong not understanding things. We also felt rushed they told us the kitchen was closing so we had to quickly order more food or deserts. This was not late. View was nice at night. Honestly this was the only positive to the night.

Indeed, a great view over Düsseldorf, very nice ambience, but otherwise a Japanese restaurant like you would expect from typical Japanese restaurants. We couldn't find anything really special. We were disappointed with the Shabu Shabu, which is explicitly listed in a menu. What came was a salad with two small pieces of rolled meat. No trace of Japanese Shabu Shabu, a kind of fondue in a tasty broth. Nobody from our service had any idea what Japanese Shabu Shabu was. The website also suggests a festive, upscale atmosphere, which we naturally followed with our clothing. However, we were clearly outnumbered, as jeans and T-shirts dominated. Conclusion: great view, nice ambience but average cuisine

Zum Start in unseren Urlaub hatten wir einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Das erste Highlight war der Weg zum Restaurant über die Express Aufzüge womit man in ein paar Sekunden im Restaurant ist. Man wird freundlich empfangen und zu seinem Sitzplatz gebracht wo man dann das zweite Highlight erlebt und zwar die grandiose Aussicht. Der Boden ist als Drehscheibe ausgelegt, so dass man einen "Rundumblick" über Düsseldorf erlangen. Eine Runde dauert ca 1 Stunde. Am Tisch wird man freundlich empfangen und die Bedienung stellt sich vor inkl Erklärung des Ablaufs wie man bestellt ect. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und bestellt quer durch die Karte, ala Kart halt. Man hätte auch die Möglichkeit sich fertige Menüs zu bestellen. Das dritte Highlight an dem Abend war definitiv das Essen, alles super frisch, wirklich top zubereitet und der Geschmack, unbeschreiblich. Bestellt wurde von Edamame Bohnen, über Nirigiri bis hin zum Wagyu Rind. Anbei natürlich gleich ein paar Fotos Der Service war ebenfall top, wir fühlten uns nie Vergessen und es ist immer wieder gefragt worden, ob alles passt und gut ist. Nach 2 Stunden bekamen wir die Rechnung an den Tisch gebracht. Preislich absolut fair, für diesen grandiosen Abend. Wir empfehlen das Qomo auf jeden fall weiter und werden nicht das letzte mal dort gegessen haben. Bitte weiter so.

Das Essen war leider recht laff. Am folgenden Tag hatten wir dann auch noch Magenprobleme.Das war nicht so schön. Ambiente, Ausblick und Service waren allerdings sehr gut.

Mixed feelings on this one. The cocktails were excellent. Service very friendly and quick. The view, of course, amazing. Food was good. Sushi just a little above average, but the main courses were good. For the price point, I would expect a little bit more. Good experience, overall.

Nice spot in the port of Dueseldorf with amazing view. Food was not that impressive. And please keep an eye on your bills, as service tend to mix up tables.

I thought it was expensive because it was only in the tower and around the corner, but you can go there just for the food, it's very good.

The food was great and the drinks were so-so. Normally I would have given this 4 stars, however the rude waitress at the beginning was very embarrassing. She only smiled after we ordered the first round of food, even though we only had one drink beforehand. When we ordered the drinks, we were told to sit at the bar first, which caused the bad mood. Unfortunately that was a no-go. Management should take a closer look at one or two employees. Your behavior has had a major negative impact on the atmosphere and mood of our table of four. It is important that the staff is consistently friendly and professional, regardless of how much or what guests order.

The menu was not as impressive as before. Cocktails were too sweet with hardly any alcohol. Desert disappointing , especially after we had those plants deserts before that were wow. Sushi was very simple. Meat dishes were good. All and all no value for money.
