The food and ambiance are good, but the service is a complete disaster. We couldn't order for an hour due to "technical problems" and had to pay full price. The service staff were unaccommodating. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. There are many better places in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. The fish and meat didn't seem fresh, and the vegetables were wilted and cooked in old oil. This became especially clear when we later received a second portion, this time fried in fresh oil, which was significantly tastier and visually appealing. The restrooms were also in an unacceptable condition, with an unpleasant odor, a lack of cleanliness, and generally very unhygienic. Overall, both the kitchen and the service area lacked care and a sense of quality. Not recommended.

Half of the food I ordered never arrived. I didn't receive a single sushi dish while everyone around me got theirs. The waiters don't speak German and can't help you. Very poor service.

I haven't eaten such delicious sushi with such a large selection in a long time... even the sashimi is included... you order via your own cell phone... the drink prices are on the higher end... only the communication with the service proved to be a bit difficult (language barrier).

I'm absolutely thrilled! The service was fantastic, even though the restaurant was completely booked. The small, delicate portions were served quickly, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The selection is huge and varied. We were full and happy after the wonderful evening and would love to come back.

I love the sushi here! The variations are very interesting, and as we all know, eating is also a feast for the eyes :) Please never stop serving it so beautifully. My favorite is the flambéed salmon roll with truffle cream – simply amazing. The quality of the sushi is very good; it's fresh, the fish tastes great, and the rice is just as it should be. There's room for improvement with the meat and grilled dishes; as mentioned in other reviews, the seasoning is really lacking. It tastes bland, unfortunately. The noodle dishes are also a bit underseasoned. The gyoza and edamame are great :). You can have a nice date here; the atmosphere is lovely and close to the train station. I really enjoy coming here.

My visit to the Ishi Fusion Sushi Restaurant in Düsseldorf was unfortunately disappointing. The value for money was, in my opinion, really poor: For around €40 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu – without drinks and dessert – you end up with €50-60 including both. That's extremely expensive for the quality and variety offered. The food was overall monotonous, lacking in variety, and rather disappointing in terms of taste. Furthermore, the table for two was very tight; the couple seated next to each other were less than 10 cm apart – it was almost impossible to talk undisturbed. The atmosphere was therefore unfortunately not pleasant. I hope the restaurant reconsiders its prices or quality – my visit wasn't worthwhile as it was.

A very nice restaurant just outside of Düsseldorf. The ambiance is really cute, and the service is good. The food is delicious, especially the all-you-can-eat hot dishes, such as fried noodles and vegetables. The sushi is also delicious, but some of the ingredients were a bit too much for us (e.g., with a topping of cream/cream cheese and almonds). You can, of course, choose your own. The nori sheet was a bit hard in some sushi dishes. The price is reasonable.

The sushi was really delicious, but the prices are a bit high—even with the all-you-can-eat option. Besides sushi, there aren't many options, and there's no unlimited drink option. The drinks are also quite expensive. Overall, though, it was a nice experience; with a few adjustments, it could be perfect.

Once a top, now a flop. We ordered iced honey lemon tea twice. The pictures looked like iced tea, with a typical color. We got a slightly cloudy drink, almost transparent like water, and it tasted accordingly. The staff said that was normal. The staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly. The food was placed at the other end of the table, silently and without comment. Not once did we see any of the service staff smile or speak to the customers except when speaking directly. The food was okay, nothing special.

Top-notch as always. The sushi, in particular, was extremely delicious. No long waits. The order is placed, and the food is brought to the table within minutes.

The food was very mediocre. Nothing really blew us away, and we tried a bit of everything. The sushi was the worst, even though the place is essentially a sushi fusion place. You can get much, much better food elsewhere for the money. We paid about €100 for two people with two drinks, and it really wasn't worth it.

I was a bit skeptical because there were quite a few negative reviews, but we were absolutely thrilled. We sat outside, and the service was incredibly fast! We barely placed our order over the phone and less than a minute later, the first dishes were on the table. There's a huge selection with something for everyone. The soda selection is also fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

I honestly don't know if I've just eaten too good sushi so far, but I find the quality of the food to be abysmal. No matter what you order, the sushi tastes almost identical and is either too fluffy or too firm. Everything else we tried (the ebi fry was too greasy, the udon was a massive portion and tasted only of pepper) wasn't good either. The place is too loud and too crowded. I gave it a second chance, but was unfortunately disappointed again. Even the competitor at the Media Harbor tastes better at cheaper prices.

Generally speaking, the food here is good value for money. Unfortunately, some dishes arrive very late, sometimes even five minutes late. This means that side orders like rice are naturally cold! This is very annoying. Complaints are coming from several tables at the same time!

This was our fourth time at Ishi. After being impressed by the quality and selection the first time (and we still are), we were extremely disappointed this time. Of the five staff serving the all-you-can-eat menu, four were extremely unfriendly and even rude. The food was sometimes slammed down on the table, there was never any eye contact, and these people didn't know the word please or thank you. We felt very unwelcome. On top of that, the whole place was louder than a train station concourse, and our last order had to be placed at 9:15 p.m., even though we had been told in advance that the kitchen would be open until 9:30 p.m. We won't be back! The bill for two people and drinks was around €110, which is about the same as expecting to be treated nicely.

Hello, this is an insider tip for all sushi fans in Düsseldorf. The restaurant is very small, so I recommend reserving a table in advance. I was here for lunch; all-you-can-eat for €20 + drinks for €11. Without a phone, it's difficult to order; everything is done via the app. The food is great; the only downside is the chaotic service, and it's also very loud. As for the food, the wasabi was disappointing. It was a nice green dish and had a good consistency, but it wasn't spicy at all :-(

Unfortunately, the quality has declined; many types of sushi simply taste the same. The staff are terrible! They simply throw plates on the table and rudely clear the empty ones, reaching over the heads of guests without prior notice! Very unpleasant!

We were here for the all-you-can-eat lunch special. The sushi was good and tasty. Everything that wasn't sushi, i.e. the rest, wasn't so good, unfortunately. We managed to get a seat without a reservation (an hour before the kitchen closed) and had to hurry, so the service wasn't great, but that's understandable given the waiters were pressed for time. I'll be honest... if you want good sushi, you're better off going to a sushi restaurant that doesn't offer all-you-can-eat. If you like all-you-can-eat and want to try other things besides sushi that also taste good, you're better off going somewhere else.

Silverfish on my plate!!! When I visited the restaurant, one of the "all you can eat" plates next to my meal also contained a moving insect – a silverfish. This should never happen!!! When I returned the plate with the waiter, a new one was placed on my plate without further comment. I stood up and asked to speak to the chef. Afterward, when I complained to the chef, an apology came only after a long discussion. The man showed no understanding at all and played the situation down! He told me small flies can sometimes appear, but no silverfish in the food! Nevertheless, we were charged the entire (high!!!) price. An extremely unfriendly, unsympathetic response from the service to an already bad situation. This shouldn't happen again. Never again.

There were five of us dining here, and we paid about €40 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we found the service very poor. The tables were very close together, and the air quality was bad. The food was okay, but nothing special, especially the salmon. Furthermore, the all-you-can-eat price doesn't even include dessert, which I find disappointing given the value for money. For me, the price here absolutely doesn't match the quality offered. There are definitely better sushi restaurants with fairer prices.

Absolutely disappointing and worrying. My boyfriend threw up after eating at ishi Fusion. Luckily, I didn't have any fish and tolerated it well, but the mere thought that something was wrong with the food is extremely off-putting. This simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant, especially with sushi and the like. Freshness seems questionable here. After a call, it was blamed on the quantity, although my boyfriend, at 6'5", has definitely eaten more in his life. We definitely won't be coming back.

The food at the Ishi Fusion Sushi Restaurant was truly delicious and fresh – sometimes served so hot that you had to let it cool down before eating it. This definitely speaks volumes about the quality and freshness of the food. The all-you-can-eat experience felt more like an à la carte experience – top-notch! No comparison to the usual all-you-can-eat concepts. A few things, however, somewhat dampened my impression: The noise level in the restaurant was quite high, making it difficult to hold a conversation. The tables were also very close together, making private conversations almost impossible; you felt like the person next to you could hear every word. Another small negative point was that the all-you-can-eat didn't include dessert. You had to order it separately, and even then, the selection was unfortunately quite limited. All in all, a great dining experience with a few minor drawbacks, hence 4 out of 5 stars. I'd be happy to come back, but perhaps prefer to go during off-peak times.

Ichi Fusion impresses at first glance with its truly beautiful, modern ambiance. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and invites you to linger. The dishes are also very attractively presented – the fish and vegetarian options in particular are of a high standard both in terms of taste and appearance. The selection is huge: sushi in all variations, hot dishes, bowls, and small side dishes – you'll definitely get your money's worth here. However, the focus is a bit too much on chicken dishes for my taste – I would have preferred more balance for a sushi restaurant. What didn't quite convince me were the salad dressings: very specific and difficult to classify in terms of taste. Taste is, of course, subjective, but I deduct a few points here. The service is friendly, but unfortunately a bit slow. It takes quite a while to be served or for follow-up orders to be taken – a bit more speed would have been appreciated here. An important note for anyone who wants to come: Desserts are not included in the all-you-can-eat menu and cost extra. They're priced at just under ten euros – definitely factor that into your budget, especially since it quickly gets expensive. Conclusion: If you're in the mood for modern sushi with a wide selection in a beautiful setting in Düsseldorf, you should give Ichi Fusion a try. For fans of classic sushi and bold flavors, there are some limitations – but overall, the visit is worthwhile if you have time, an appetite, and a bit of a budget.

We wanted to try the restaurant because it's been recommended several times online. If you like a very cozy atmosphere and being right back to back with other guests and the waiters, this is the place for you. For us, it was simply too loud and crowded. The service was fast, and even empty plates were cleared away immediately. For the price, my recommendation would be to choose quality over quantity in downtown Düsseldorf. The food is presented fancy-looking on colorful plates with dry ice and arrived super quickly. The quality, however, was rather so-so. The sake sashimi and all the others were very tasteless. The rolls were served with a lot of frills while we were searching for the fish. Overall, very expensive for the quality.

The food is delicious, and the service is very quick to follow up with new orders. The portions could be a bit smaller for some items. For example, if I order fried mushrooms, I don't expect a normal-sized plate as if it were a full meal; instead, I eat it alongside other orders. The only thing that really bothers me are some of the prices. €7.20 for a bottle of water is pretty steep. What kind of insane margin is being added to the purchase price? That absolutely shouldn't happen, at least for plain water. Therefore, I'm giving it one star less in the overall rating.

An absolute highlight in Düsseldorf! I was absolutely thrilled with my visits to Ishi Fusion. The food is a work of art for all the senses – the taste is absolutely convincing. I go there at least once a month to eat sushi. It's definitely one of the best sushi shops in Düsseldorf, offering high-quality food.

Waiters with dirty aprons, friendly but only beginners who made many mistakes, for example the lunch food was saved in my tray instead of the evening menu....I had to complain to get it done, the choice of tartare is only limited to 1, rice portions are huge, all pretty one taste, dessert are not included in a pinch, I asked for ice cubes and got 3 pieces, plate broken, and much more, in general I was very disappointed and unsatisfied especially that I paid € 40 per person, plus drinks and desserts, we eat a lot of sushi but that was the bad thing

If you're hungry enough, you'll get really decent sushi, including sashimi, for your money, which isn't often the case with all-you-can-eat concepts. Of course, the quality can't compare to sushi restaurants in Little Tokyo, but it's still decent and tasty. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't quite as firm on the Saturday evening we were there and fell apart frequently, but the taste was okay. The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and the food usually arrives quickly. We'd be happy to go back; if you're hungry enough, it's a good choice!

Delicious, plenty and efficiently. Friendly and helpful service (in the outside area they turned on special lights and heating lamps), they also accepted our quadruped without any problems. Everything was great. I recommend.

Lethargic service. Thawed fish dripping with moisture. It feels like you're only getting mayonnaise, fried food, or things drenched in teriyaki sauce. The beef is a cheap and tough cut. The vegetables are watery and unseasoned. The soy sauce feels like it's been diluted with water. Two stars because it's still edible but not good.

The prices were a bit steep; we paid €45 per person, including drinks and tip. The quality of the salmon sashimi was quite good, while the butterfish wasn't very fresh and tasted a bit sour. Overall, the seafood and sushi were good, but the other dishes weren't as impressive. (The takoyaki didn't have any octopus in it, and the Korean fried chicken was mushy.) The service was very fast; the food was served quickly, and empty plates were removed immediately.

Unfortunately, the selection outside of sushi has diminished considerably; previously, they offered shrimp, beef skewers, and lamb chops, among other dishes. The chicken skewers aren't tasty either, and the dessert is extremely expensive considering you're already paying €39. The sushi itself is good. The ambiance is also so-so; it's nice in itself, but everything is far too cramped; you feel like you're sitting at the same table as other people.

This is our 3rd time here and we are so disappointed this time. The menu says “unlimited”, but you can only order salmon sashimi max. 3 times. It’s not like this last year, and when we told them, they lied. There’s no way we can support such dishonest, deceptive business👎

The service was really bad. No explanation or help after sitting you down. The variety is very limited, and the quality of sashimi is super mediocre. Spent the full price for a lunch on Sunday barely with any service (would not have the meal if getting informed of the price and the food variety before placing the order), not even getting decent meat from the menu. Also even without many people, we got the worst seat possible with reservation.

If one could give zero stars, then that would probably be more appropriate. Five minutes after leaving, I already have a stomach ache. We ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-eat meal and left the restaurant after 30 minutes. The sushi smelled really bad. The rice was dry, the vegetables were burnt and soaked in sauce. We didn't get half of what we ordered (luckily, in retrospect), and one of the dishes consisted of half an avocado and a few shreds of seaweed, which was also very poorly prepared. Our feedback was completely ignored, and we paid full price for 30 minutes of bad food and bad service. €90 for a stomach ache... and the overpriced price per head doesn't even include dessert. (Not to mention that we lost our appetites very quickly anyway.) So, definitely not recommended.

You can change the address for the table in the network address. A lot of food was ordered for us and we did get a discount for the leftover sushi. There is no security there everyone can order for every table. Don't be fooled, pay attention According to the owner's answer: You can change the table number very easily. The internet addresses of the tables are all the same except for the table number, which can be changed very easily. 2. There is a limit to what you can order every 10 minutes, so 50 things. Food came to our table that you can't order in over 4 rounds, but we verifiably only ordered 2 rounds. But the waiters on site didn't understand this (since most of the waiters there don't speak a word of German or English). The waiters who could speak German just blocked us in an unfriendly manner, even though we had all the evidence that you can't even begin to order that much food in two rounds. When asked by a supervisor, the answer was “there is none.” Then they offered us to pack everything up and pay 30 euros extra on top of the 38 euros p.p. because it was too stupid for us to discuss with people who don't understand us (neither in terms of language nor content), we accepted this. This seems small compared to the value of the goods of 150 euros, but it wasn't our fault. We then paid the bill as a gesture of goodwill and now to accuse us of having to pay 150 euros is an impudence. Even if you can show in black and white that you didn't order any of this, they'll rip you off.

I asked the boss to clarify this situation, but there was no clear answer. They wanted 1 euro per leftover piece. The whole table was full of food (which was not ordered) and we then refused to pay for it. In the end, an amount was agreed upon and payment was made for the leftover food. You can change the table numbers on your cell phone and order for table 10, for example, even though you are sitting at table 5!!! You have access to all tables with the QR code on site if you are on the WiFi network. This is a very bad system. Never again!

It was my first time in this restaurant and I have to say I am very disappointed. The food was really delicious and always freshly prepared but the service was unfortunately very poor. A lot of my all you can eat items either arrived very late or not at all. In the end there were a lot of orders missing and at some point you lose your appetite if you wait too long and unfortunately speaking to the waiter several times didn't help. With better service it would be a top restaurant.
