Ishi Fusion Sushi Restaurant in Düsseldorf

We wanted to try the restaurant because it's been recommended several times online. If you like a very cozy atmosphere and being right back to back with other guests and the waiters, this is the place for you. For us, it was simply too loud and crowded. The service was fast, and even empty plates were cleared away immediately. For the price, my recommendation would be to choose quality over quantity in downtown Düsseldorf. The food is presented fancy-looking on colorful plates with dry ice and arrived super quickly. The quality, however, was rather so-so. The sake sashimi and all the others were very tasteless. The rolls were served with a lot of frills while we were searching for the fish. Overall, very expensive for the quality.

The food is delicious, and the service is very quick to follow up with new orders. The portions could be a bit smaller for some items. For example, if I order fried mushrooms, I don't expect a normal-sized plate as if it were a full meal; instead, I eat it alongside other orders. The only thing that really bothers me are some of the prices. €7.20 for a bottle of water is pretty steep. What kind of insane margin is being added to the purchase price? That absolutely shouldn't happen, at least for plain water. Therefore, I'm giving it one star less in the overall rating.

An absolute highlight in Düsseldorf! I was absolutely thrilled with my visits to Ishi Fusion. The food is a work of art for all the senses – the taste is absolutely convincing. I go there at least once a month to eat sushi. It's definitely one of the best sushi shops in Düsseldorf, offering high-quality food.

Waiters with dirty aprons, friendly but only beginners who made many mistakes, for example the lunch food was saved in my tray instead of the evening menu....I had to complain to get it done, the choice of tartare is only limited to 1, rice portions are huge, all pretty one taste, dessert are not included in a pinch, I asked for ice cubes and got 3 pieces, plate broken, and much more, in general I was very disappointed and unsatisfied especially that I paid € 40 per person, plus drinks and desserts, we eat a lot of sushi but that was the bad thing

A very nicely decorated restaurant. Service is relatively friendly, but not particularly accommodating. There's a huge selection of dishes, appetizers, and drinks, especially for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The fish and the rest of the food are also of very high quality. Definitely our favorite all-you-can-eat restaurant in Düsseldorf.

If you're hungry enough, you'll get really decent sushi, including sashimi, for your money, which isn't often the case with all-you-can-eat concepts. Of course, the quality can't compare to sushi restaurants in Little Tokyo, but it's still decent and tasty. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't quite as firm on the Saturday evening we were there and fell apart frequently, but the taste was okay. The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and the food usually arrives quickly. We'd be happy to go back; if you're hungry enough, it's a good choice!

If you don't have your reservation under control, you should not make it at all.

The prices were a bit steep; we paid €45 per person, including drinks and tip. The quality of the salmon sashimi was quite good, while the butterfish wasn't very fresh and tasted a bit sour. Overall, the seafood and sushi were good, but the other dishes weren't as impressive. (The takoyaki didn't have any octopus in it, and the Korean fried chicken was mushy.) The service was very fast; the food was served quickly, and empty plates were removed immediately.

Lethargic service. Thawed fish dripping with moisture. It feels like you're only getting mayonnaise, fried food, or things drenched in teriyaki sauce. The beef is a cheap and tough cut. The vegetables are watery and unseasoned. The soy sauce feels like it's been diluted with water. Two stars because it's still edible but not good.

Delicious, plenty and efficiently. Friendly and helpful service (in the outside area they turned on special lights and heating lamps), they also accepted our quadruped without any problems. Everything was great. I recommend.

Unfortunately, the selection outside of sushi has diminished considerably; previously, they offered shrimp, beef skewers, and lamb chops, among other dishes. The chicken skewers aren't tasty either, and the dessert is extremely expensive considering you're already paying €39. The sushi itself is good. The ambiance is also so-so; it's nice in itself, but everything is far too cramped; you feel like you're sitting at the same table as other people.

This is our 3rd time here and we are so disappointed this time. The menu says “unlimited”, but you can only order salmon sashimi max. 3 times. It’s not like this last year, and when we told them, they lied. There’s no way we can support such dishonest, deceptive business👎

The service was really bad. No explanation or help after sitting you down. The variety is very limited, and the quality of sashimi is super mediocre. Spent the full price for a lunch on Sunday barely with any service (would not have the meal if getting informed of the price and the food variety before placing the order), not even getting decent meat from the menu. Also even without many people, we got the worst seat possible with reservation.

If one could give zero stars, then that would probably be more appropriate. Five minutes after leaving, I already have a stomach ache. We ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-eat meal and left the restaurant after 30 minutes. The sushi smelled really bad. The rice was dry, the vegetables were burnt and soaked in sauce. We didn't get half of what we ordered (luckily, in retrospect), and one of the dishes consisted of half an avocado and a few shreds of seaweed, which was also very poorly prepared. Our feedback was completely ignored, and we paid full price for 30 minutes of bad food and bad service. €90 for a stomach ache... and the overpriced price per head doesn't even include dessert. (Not to mention that we lost our appetites very quickly anyway.) So, definitely not recommended.

You can change the address for the table in the network address. A lot of food was ordered for us and we did get a discount for the leftover sushi. There is no security there everyone can order for every table. Don't be fooled, pay attention According to the owner's answer: You can change the table number very easily. The internet addresses of the tables are all the same except for the table number, which can be changed very easily. 2. There is a limit to what you can order every 10 minutes, so 50 things. Food came to our table that you can't order in over 4 rounds, but we verifiably only ordered 2 rounds. But the waiters on site didn't understand this (since most of the waiters there don't speak a word of German or English). The waiters who could speak German just blocked us in an unfriendly manner, even though we had all the evidence that you can't even begin to order that much food in two rounds. When asked by a supervisor, the answer was “there is none.” Then they offered us to pack everything up and pay 30 euros extra on top of the 38 euros p.p. because it was too stupid for us to discuss with people who don't understand us (neither in terms of language nor content), we accepted this. This seems small compared to the value of the goods of 150 euros, but it wasn't our fault. We then paid the bill as a gesture of goodwill and now to accuse us of having to pay 150 euros is an impudence. Even if you can show in black and white that you didn't order any of this, they'll rip you off.

The sushi was poor quality and didn't taste good. The service was very dismal. The rest of the dishes were all greasy, low-quality convenience foods. The fact that they offered yuzu lemonade was, unfortunately, the only bright spot.

Food tastes good, but unfortunately the service is very bad! We were there with a large group of 10 people and were completely ripped off. More and more food came that wasn't ordered and some of the service staff didn't understand German and still put everything on the table. Which is a shame because food is wasted! I asked the boss to clarify this situation, but there was no clear answer. They wanted 1 euro per leftover piece. The whole table was full of food (which was not ordered) and we then refused to pay for it. In the end, an amount was agreed upon and payment was made for the leftover food. You can change the table numbers on your cell phone and order for table 10, for example, even though you are sitting at table 5!!! You have access to all tables with the QR code on site if you are on the WiFi network. This is a very bad system. Never again!

It was my first time in this restaurant and I have to say I am very disappointed. The food was really delicious and always freshly prepared but the service was unfortunately very poor. A lot of my all you can eat items either arrived very late or not at all. In the end there were a lot of orders missing and at some point you lose your appetite if you wait too long and unfortunately speaking to the waiter several times didn't help. With better service it would be a top restaurant.

It used to be really good in terms of quality, selection and service. Unfortunately, it is now a disappointment in all areas. All meat dishes are limp and taste terribly like meat tenderizer. The selection has been extremely reduced. Instead of fresh chili and kimchi, there is now “hot sauce” upon request. The audience has changed accordingly. At first, many of the Japanese people living in Düsseldorf went to eat here, but now it's mainly people with all-you-can-eat-for-as-little-money-as-possible ambitions.

I have rarely been so disappointed by a visit to a restaurant. The buffet costs a whopping 37 euros per person - and that for food that simply tastes disgusting. Everything tastes like it's been reheated for days. Sometimes unseasoned, sometimes so salty that you lose your appetite. I'm not exaggerating when I say: the food tasted like absolute garbage. You rarely see such an incredibly beautiful restaurant with this breathtaking ambience and beautifully prepared food. And the friendliness is excellent.

I went here for dinner today. The food tasted of nothing and it was all cold. The hot dishes were simply served cold. Staff didn't smile. There was no room inside so we had to sit on the terrace. We had no problem with this. We asked if the heater could be turned on and this was not possible. We just sat in the cold for an hour. There are 10 different sushi rolls with shrimp and they all have cheese spread on them. They sell strange combinations of food. I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this restaurant.

The food is amazing and I have been often in this restaurant for years. But in the last times they starting to lacking in the cleaning please start to clean better like you guys used to do before. This picture is only a example I found many spots super dirty on the table and windows which should be easy places to clean. Plus they should hire only friendly waiters.

We were there on Sunday evening with 12 people from the family for a birthday party. As expected, the restaurant was quite full, which wasn't a problem this time because we had of course made reservations given the size of the group. The reservation was quick and uncomplicated via WhatsApp chat, no phone call was necessary and we were even able to extend it by 2 people in the same way. Our table wasn't available when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait long. Logging into the WiFi and ordering system was quick and easy thanks to the QR codes at the table, as was ordering yourself. Every few minutes it is possible to order 5 things per person (drinks excluded, these can be ordered at any time). After a short waiting time, the dishes are then brought to the table and arranged on plates, bowls or platters depending on the order. Partly with a fog effect created by dry ice. The sashimi, tartare, soups, wok dishes and side dishes were really tasty. The whole family was happy and everyone was full. There was little to complain about, Every now and then one or two ordered dishes didn't arrive and the staff sometimes seemed a bit cool in their communication, but at no time did this affect the service and were helpful, which is why I personally wouldn't consider this a problem. So the only points that were a bit unfortunate were that the sushi rolls on this visit for some reason had little taste and that my cocktail (mojito) was anything but well mixed. However, that can happen sometimes. On the whole, the restaurant is always busy and since we have had to be turned away because of this, we recommend making a reservation in advance. The entire evening took place with little direct contact, most of it was done digitally, so I can with a clear conscience recommend this restaurant to more introverted people who are looking for something where they have to communicate as little directly as possible. As long as you can handle a busy atmosphere, of course. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and still feels inviting even when the house is full. The ambience is busy and the noise from the guests is still enough to have a good conversation. In terms of price, it is a little more expensive than other all-you-can-eat offers, but it is still justifiable given the current market prices. Depending on the day of the week there are different flats, these run for around 2 hours which is a pleasant time. Drinks are charged individually, as are deserts.

Unfortunately the fish from the sashimi wasn't fresh, we were there on Thursday and within an hour we both got severe diarrhea and food poisoning. We both had discomfort and severe cramps all night. It's not possible, food safety must be guaranteed, and if you can't do that, you shouldn't offer raw food.

My absolute favorite shop when it comes to all-you-can-eat sushi. Indescribably good quality – the sushi literally melts in your mouth. The service is super friendly and there is also a very large and good selection.

I thought this restaurant was something better. I chose it based on other people's reviews but was disappointed. We chose all you can eat for two people. There was a long wait for our ordered items. For the price, it wasn't a huge revelation. Plus the room looked much bigger. We were assigned a table for two... We were squeezed together and had to watch out for the waiters on one side and passers-by on the other. Crowded together... Not a comfortable atmosphere...

The menu offers a large selection of different sushi specialties. Unfortunately, the waiting time was extremely long and not even half of the sushi we ordered arrived. The quality of the food was ok but nothing special. For €36 I simply expect something different. The staff was visibly overwhelmed and our plates were only cleared when we asked. For us it was a bitter disappointment. We won't be coming back.

I wanted to try the restaurant since it was so hyped on TikTok. On site we decided on all you can eat. We ordered our food and were looking forward to the items. However, the individual items arrived so late that it was no longer worth it for an all you can eat. Some of the food was cold and you had to point out to the staff several times that you hadn't received anything yet. We always had to share individual plates because nothing arrived. Every time we brought it up, all we were told was that there was a lot going on at the moment. I think to myself, if you're going to offer all you can eat, then you should have the staff to do it. Behind me. Guests have also complained about what a poor service. Here we sat there for two and a half hours and only got twelve of the 30 dishes we ordered. My friend and I paid over €80 for this. The food was tasty but the service spoiled it. Unfortunately that was my last visit. And if that wasn't enough, there was no soap in the toilet for such an upscale restaurant. Additionally, we sat outside and our table was so narrow that there was no legroom or anything.

Greatest sushi and sashimi, very nice service and a great atmosphere. I don't know of a better all-you-can-eat option. Update 2.4.: Suddenly everything is no longer completely fresh, the salmon on the nigiri is even dry on the edge. The sushi is already soaked in soy sauce when served, making everything super salty. Probably supposed to boost drink sales. That was absolutely my last visit. None of the employees were friendly. Everything was simply put there without any hesitation. And €100 for two people is beyond cheeky for this kind of service and quality. Too bad.

Very good rolls, with creative flavors and very good ingredients. The ordering system at the buffet is somewhat confusing since all the people at the table access the same system and the dishes are put together. In the end, if you are in a large group, it is very difficult to know what each person ordered. We asked if the rolls came on individual plates but they put them all together on a large board. But the food was very delicious.

We went to Ishi Fusion for the first time today(all you can eat menu,with reservation) and had a very great experience. Food was great (we only had sushi) you can each order 5 things at a time every 10 minutes, it’s enough because the orders take relatively short time to be ready. It’s all done with your phone(we found it very convenient) nice staff and clean place; no empty dishes stay on the table for more than 2 minutes. The lunch menu is also great for the price and all you can eat. The drinks and desserts are a bit pricey but understandable. We will be going again.

According to the website, the kitchen closes at 2pm for lunch. On Saturday 15th February it closed at 13:30. When I wrote to the management afterwards to ask them why, they basically accused me of lying. Very disappointed, we will not be going back with that attitude!

Shortly afterwards you will receive a confirmation. Although this is relatively simple, an online reservation form would be even more convenient. Getting there: There is an S-Bahn station nearby, which makes traveling by public transport very convenient. There are no dedicated parking spaces, but there are many free parking options in the nearby area. Arrival: At the entrance you will usually be greeted by a service employee who will lead you directly to your seat. All You Can Eat: Once at the table, the all-you-can-eat menu is activated, which is accessed via a QR code on the smartphone. The menu is a bit confusing and not very intuitive at first, but after a short period of getting used to it, it is easy to use. The drink order came very quickly, less than two minutes after ordering. There were also positive surprises with the food: cold dishes are served within five minutes, hot dishes take around ten minutes. You can place a new order every ten minutes until you are full or reach the maximum stay time of two hours. Food & Quality: The quality of the food was excellent, everything was freshly prepared to order and there were no pre-made dishes. A small exception was the salmon sashimi, in which I found a bone, but that is only a minor criticism. Particularly noteworthy are the Special Rolls and the Ishi Style Rolls, which are also visually impressive. My personal highlights were: Nido Maki, Torifly Futomaki, Sakefly Futomaki and Shake Rolls. Unfortunately, dessert is not included in the price, but I can recommend Gold Pan (sweet fried bread), it comes very close to dessert. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. Since orders are mainly processed via smartphone, the process remains very relaxed. Drinks and food come to the table quickly without having to wait for the staff. Empty plates are discreetly cleared away without causing any disruption. Conclusion: This restaurant is definitely worth recommending, especially for anyone coming from Düsseldorf or the surrounding area. The price-performance ratio is excellent and lovers of this cuisine will get their money's worth. Compared to similar restaurants in Düsseldorf, this one does much better, especially in terms of speed and variety. A special tip is the lunch offer: Here you can get a slightly smaller, but still high-quality selection for a very fair price.

In my opinion, the Ishi Fusion has unfortunately lost quality. A few years ago the food was tastier, but now the food is served unsalted and sometimes tastes very bland. The four of us had dinner on a Saturday evening and paid just under €200 including drinks. Because some of the food tasted like frozen goods, it wasn't worth it for us. The atmosphere and ambience, however, are great and very nicely decorated. The service was also quick and nice. Unfortunately we won't be coming again because of the high price of the food.

Extremely disappointed. My teenage son discovered the restaurant on TikTok and was hooked, so we went there after watching the promotional videos. There are many Japanese places that offer all you can eat, but a lot cheaper. Why the store is so expensive can only be explained by its location. The food was either bland or oversalted. A lot of it comes from frozen food and isn't even served golden brown, but rather deathly pale. The dessert for 9.20 also frozen was a joke, the cocktails (at least the ones with alcohol) were inedible. The service went down to the cellar with a smile, the ordered items were placed on the table without a word and with an annoyed expression on their faces. The table constellations resembled the beach on Mallorca... like the sadine cans. Private conversations were hardly possible because the neighbor was “part of it” whether he wanted to or not. The two stars are only for the furnishings and the location… Given the price, I would have expected a lot more... especially given the advertising.

By far the best sushi all-you-can-eat you can get in Düsseldorf - whether at lunch for €20 or at the weekend for around €36. Literally our sushi place to be. I feel like I've tried everything here and almost every dish is of first-class quality. The wok dishes and the sashimi salmon in particular are absolute highlights. The fried foods are always crispy and hot. What distinguishes Ishi Fusion from classic all-you-can-eat offers: There is no buffet where the food sits for hours. Everything is freshly prepared and brought straight to the table - and you can tell that with every single order. The food comes quickly, the service is great and empty plates are always cleared away quickly. A few points of criticism: Unfortunately, many of the dishes that used to be on the lunch menu at Ishi Fusion are now only available in the evenings, meaning there is a little less variety if you don't want to just eat sushi. For example, the salmon tartare – my absolute favorite. There are only a few quality deficiencies in the Ishi-Fusion; like the kimchi, which is just way too salty than usual. Another drawback was the homemade drinks, like the iced matcha that we ordered once. It was green, but unfortunately it tasted almost exclusively like water. Perhaps this has since been improved, but since our last attempt in 2023, we've stayed away from the homemade sodas as the experience was quite sobering. The sushi menu could also be made a little more varied. A few of the varieties on offer differ only in that the same ingredients are simply combined differently - for example, in one roll the salmon is on the inside and the avocado on the outside, and in another it is exactly the opposite. This creates the impression of more variety, even though they are basically the same ingredients. But that's really complaining at a high level! We come to Ishi Fusion about every two months and it's perfect every time.

“All you can eat” sushi is definitely worth it. Everything we ordered came quickly and fresh – really great. We would particularly like to highlight the sushi version with truffles, it was simply incredibly delicious! The fried dishes were also great. Absolutely the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Düsseldorf. Perfect food, they bring all the pieces together, so you don’t wait and just randomly get sushi here and there, like in oshi. Service is also descent. Good interior. I will never visit the other sushi restaurants again.

We were there for lunch with a group of 6. You should definitely make a reservation. The food was more than OK for the price, top quality - some in somewhat large portions, especially if you order multiple times, they may come in one bowl. Opening the app isn't always easy, but the staff can help. The staff was always friendly, even if they didn't always pay attention to the neighboring table where the empty plates were piled up. Our visit to Ishi Fusion Sushi was a bit like a fancy gift with mediocre content - looks great, raises expectations, but in the end that certain something is missing. Let's start with the positive: The restaurant is really stylishly decorated. Modern, elegant and inviting. It is relatively small, but that didn't bother us thanks to the reservation. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, if a little fresher than desired - not unpleasant, but a little more warmth wouldn't have hurt. The sushi itself was fresh and tasty, but no better than other All You Can Eat restaurants we know. The selection is solid, the quality is good - but for the higher price we would have hoped for a special taste experience. There are a few comparable sushi restaurants in Düsseldorf that are slightly cheaper in price without having to compromise on quality. A real negative point, however, was the service. The drinks and food were placed on our table without a word and with little enthusiasm - almost as if friendliness had just sold out. Maybe the team wasn't at their best that day, but in a restaurant of this price range you expect at least a certain level of friendliness. An older lady only showed this to say goodbye. Conclusion: The Ishi Fusion Sushi scores with its chic decor and good sushi, but leaves room for improvement when it comes to service and the price-performance ratio. If you're looking for a stylish ambience and don't care about the penny, you can enjoy a solid sushi meal here. However, if you want an all-round experience with friendly service and fair prices, you will certainly find better alternatives in Düsseldorf.

Nice ambience, but unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired in many places. The rice for the sushi was very, very al dente. The flambéed tuna tasted like it had been sitting for a long time. The udon noodles basically have potential, but unfortunately they tasted absolutely burnt and were far too much for an all you can eat. There is a huge selection of dishes. However, you should perhaps reduce these a bit and work out the rest better. The potential is basically there, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right and the hype on TikTok is far too big!

Positive: very nice location and ambience, visually appealing presentation of the food. The reservation went smoothly and quickly via WhatsApp. Negative: many dishes simply didn't taste good. Either not seasoned enough, overcooked (edamame) and/or not convincing in terms of taste. The soy sauce didn't taste as salty as usual, it was much lighter in color and thinner. We've eaten better sushi there. The sushi rice wasn't cooked to perfection and mostly fell apart on the way from the plate to the mouth. The service was mostly inattentive; when food was brought, we as guests had to point out that we should take the empty plates away. Smiling was a foreign concept to some of the service staff. At first we couldn't understand the negative reviews about the taste, but after our visit today we unfortunately have to agree. We wouldn't have found it so bad that dessert wasn't included in the price if the rest had been right. It's a shame :-(

I've been to Ishi Sushi several times and I really like it here 😄 I have the feeling that some orders are lost (I haven't received any edamame to date 😜) but everyone here gets their fill. After all, it's an "all-you-can-eat"... And I have nothing to complain about in terms of quality! I would love to come back here. I can only recommend making a reservation in advance, as the store is already full shortly after it opens.

Food was awesome. The service has been terrible: we received half of the dishes that we ordered and the waiters even ignored our request to give us what we ordered. After trying few times we had to leave the place without having enough food. The restaurant looks nice but it’s very cold, many people were eating with a coat

So the food is so good so far. The service was quick, took care and the price is a bit high, because Okinii offers a lot more, AND There is no dessert?! But pay 10€ extra? So…. No thanks Everything is tasty and satisfying so far, but the photos from the internet don't match what it looks like, but rather like a small, crowded restaurant that wants to make a lot of sales. For €29.50 per person I would advise against this and go to Okinii.

I visited the restaurant for a lunch buffet with friends and family, and it was a great experience. The spread was impressive and quite tasty. The convenience of online ordering for the buffet made the process smoother, and the dishes were served without much delay. Definitely worth a visit!

RAW CHICKEN*** If you are interested in the possibility of getting terminally ill ,then this is the place for you!! As you can see in the video. I got served RAW CHICKEN. when i showed the server, she did not care. I had to call her again and ask her to show it to the person in charge, we saw her go and talk to him, she came back and advised us that he would be coming. We waited 10 min for him and To our surprise, he did not come. The 3 of us lost our appetite and stopped eating and went to pay. Given the fact that i could get VERRY SICK or even DIE, the staff simply did not care. We got charged FULL PRICE did not recieve even 1 sorry. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere

We all come to the restaurant from Wuppertal because the quality for all you can eat is by far the best. The people are nice, there is a lot to choose from and it tastes great.

Unfortunately, what was ordered via the website was not always delivered. Drinks were forgotten and the quality of the meat was unfortunately not as good as expected. All in all quite okay. But a bit too expensive for what you get

Less recommended for larger groups. It's pretty easy to get confused with bookings made via a QR code. In addition, the food sometimes comes quite late, so we sometimes received orders after paying. The food wasn't great either, but ok.

You can have your legitimate arguments against all-you-can-eat sushi, but they should be put aside here. What you get on the table here for the price is 1a sushi a la carte. Unfortunately there is a star deduction because there was no tuna. We weren't informed of this and instead paid the full price. I simply have to deduct a star for missing such an important ingredient. Otherwise you really can't go wrong here. Try it out.

Didn't find the food very tasty, service poor, you often didn't get what you ordered and the prices were absurd for the quality and ambience. I can't recommend it.
