Ishi Fusion Sushi Restaurant in Düsseldorf

Positive: very nice location and ambience, visually appealing presentation of the food. The reservation went smoothly and quickly via WhatsApp. Negative: many dishes simply didn't taste good. Either not seasoned enough, overcooked (edamame) and/or not convincing in terms of taste. The soy sauce didn't taste as salty as usual, it was much lighter in color and thinner. We've eaten better sushi there. The sushi rice wasn't cooked to perfection and mostly fell apart on the way from the plate to the mouth. The service was mostly inattentive; when food was brought, we as guests had to point out that we should take the empty plates away. Smiling was a foreign concept to some of the service staff. At first we couldn't understand the negative reviews about the taste, but after our visit today we unfortunately have to agree. We wouldn't have found it so bad that dessert wasn't included in the price if the rest had been right. It's a shame :-(

I've been to Ishi Sushi several times and I really like it here 😄 I have the feeling that some orders are lost (I haven't received any edamame to date 😜) but everyone here gets their fill. After all, it's an "all-you-can-eat"... And I have nothing to complain about in terms of quality! I would love to come back here. I can only recommend making a reservation in advance, as the store is already full shortly after it opens.

Food was awesome. The service has been terrible: we received half of the dishes that we ordered and the waiters even ignored our request to give us what we ordered. I visited the restaurant for a lunch buffet with friends and family, and it was a great experience. The spread was impressive and quite tasty. The convenience of online ordering for the buffet made the process smoother, and the dishes were served without much delay. Definitely worth a visit!

RAW CHICKEN*** If you are interested in the possibility of getting terminally ill ,then this is the place for you!! As you can see in the video. I got served RAW CHICKEN. when i showed the server, she did not care. I had to call her again and ask her to show it to the person in charge, we saw her go and talk to him, she came back and advised us that he would be coming. We waited 10 min for him and To our surprise, he did not come. The 3 of us lost our appetite and stopped eating and went to pay. Given the fact that i could get VERRY SICK or even DIE, the staff simply did not care. We got charged FULL PRICE did not recieve even 1 sorry. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere

We all come to the restaurant from Wuppertal because the quality for all you can eat is by far the best. The people are nice, there is a lot to choose from and it tastes great.

Unfortunately, what was ordered via the website was not always delivered. Drinks were forgotten and the quality of the meat was unfortunately not as good as expected. All in all quite okay. But a bit too expensive for what you get

You can have your legitimate arguments against all-you-can-eat sushi, but they should be put aside here. What you get on the table here for the price is 1a sushi a la carte. Unfortunately there is a star deduction because there was no tuna. We weren't informed of this and instead paid the full price. I simply have to deduct a star for missing such an important ingredient. Otherwise you really can't go wrong here. Try it out.

Less recommended for larger groups. It's pretty easy to get confused with bookings made via a QR code. In addition, the food sometimes comes quite late, so we sometimes received orders after paying. The food wasn't great either, but ok.

I was there for the first time last week and will definitely be back. The food is very fresh and tasty, the fish also tastes very, very good, in all sushi variations. There's a wide variety of food to choose from and even though the price is a bit steep, it's still worth a visit. Sorry, I was there with my girlfriend yesterday, the quality wasn't good at all! A year ago when I was there I was so excited that it's not worth the money! The sushi was good, everything else was not!

Very good food, good quality. The service is rather difficult because the people who clear the tables cannot be spoken to because they do not understand the language. A helpful couple at the next table helped us load everything onto our smartphone and place our orders. Very nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the previously wonderful selection has decreased significantly (there used to be tuna sashimi, tuna nigiri and maki. There were various shrimp or dim sum dumplings with shrimp, etc.: none of that is available anymore!!!!!!! ) but the great price has increased significantly from just over €30 and is now almost an outrageous €40. We were there for the last time in the evening today, we might go again at lunchtime, then it costs €20 with a limited selection. That's okay if you're nearby. But the price-performance ratio for evenings/weekends is now almost a disgrace compared to before. Very, very unfortunate!!!

Selection very good. The ambience is absolutely terrible. The waitress speaks at high speed and explains the procedure in a very incomprehensible manner. The food is (partly) served cold every second. You have 2 hours to eat, after 1.5 we were asked for the last order. Afterwards, 7 people stood behind us so that we could finally leave. Even the cleaning products were already put on the table for us. It's a shame...you've scared us away as customers.

I don't understand the hype about this store at all! It started at the reception, where none of the employees felt obliged to greet us and show us to a table. The ambience and furnishings are quite ok, but unfortunately not that clean. The ordering system with the QR code isn't a bad idea, but it's very confusing. The sushi tasted old after three days and was definitely not fresh, the food in general was just tasteless. The all you can eat doesn't even include dessert, even for that you have to pay €9.50 individually. Absolutely overpriced and overrated store for almost €40 per person, you would expect more. That was the first and last time.

We decided against "all you can eat" because we thought we would be cheaper with "a la carte". That was a fallacy. The food was very tasty. The friendly staff patiently explained the online QR code ordering process to us.

Reservation: Reservations are made exclusively via WhatsApp. On the website you can find the corresponding telephone number to which you can send a message with your name, date, time and number of people. Shortly afterwards you will receive a confirmation. Although this is relatively simple, an online reservation form would be even more convenient. Getting there: There is an S-Bahn station nearby, which makes traveling by public transport very convenient. There are no dedicated parking spaces, but there are many free parking options in the nearby area. Arrival: At the entrance you will usually be greeted by a service employee who will lead you directly to your seat. All You Can Eat: Once at the table, the all-you-can-eat menu is activated, which is accessed via a QR code on the smartphone. The menu is a bit confusing and not very intuitive at first, but after a short period of getting used to it, it is easy to use. The drink order came very quickly, less than two minutes after ordering. There were also positive surprises with the food: cold dishes are served within five minutes, hot dishes take around ten minutes. You can place a new order every ten minutes until you are full or reach the maximum stay time of two hours. Food & Quality: The quality of the food was excellent, everything was freshly prepared to order and there were no pre-made dishes. A small exception was the salmon sashimi, in which I found a bone, but that is only a minor criticism. Particularly noteworthy are the Special Rolls and the Ishi Style Rolls, which are also visually impressive. My personal highlights were: Nido Maki, Torifly Futomaki, Sakefly Futomaki and Shake Rolls. Unfortunately, dessert is not included in the price, but I can recommend Gold Pan (sweet fried bread), it comes very close to dessert. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. Since orders are mainly processed via smartphone, the process remains very relaxed. Drinks and food come to the table quickly without having to wait for the staff. Empty plates are discreetly cleared away without causing any disruption. Conclusion: This restaurant is definitely worth recommending, especially for anyone coming from Düsseldorf or the surrounding area. The price-performance ratio is excellent and lovers of this cuisine will get their money's worth. Compared to similar restaurants in Düsseldorf, this one does much better, especially in terms of speed and variety. A special tip is the lunch offer: Here you can get a slightly smaller, but still high-quality selection for a very fair price.

Very nicely decorated, but at lunchtime it is not clear in advance what you can and cannot order. This should be communicated clearly online. We have someone in the group who loves eating grilled salmon. We asked beforehand whether there was lunch, which was answered in the affirmative via WhatsApp. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no salmon to choose from. When I mentioned this, I was told that someone had probably mixed something up. Great... It's also a bit stupid that you have to use your own smartphone to order. If mab has a low battery in the evening, this could cause problems. Otherwise, you should urgently have someone with knowledge of German rewrite the card. This is flooded with spelling errors and incorrect names. Now about the food itself. Anyone who loves sushi has an absolutely huge selection here, even at lunchtime. 5 dishes can be ordered every 10 minutes per person with a maximum stay of 2 hours, although you should install a visible timer on the site so that you know when you can order again and how much time you still have in total. Food was consistently great. The noodle and rice dishes should be shared as the portions are very large. Maki is available in sets of 6, the large rolls usually come in 4. Everything is very nicely prepared. The non-sushi section is a little sparser, but is sufficient. Cons: No free dessert! I've never seen anything like that at an all you can eat. They all cost around €10 extra, which I find to be extortionate. Drinks are also very expensive, I find a 0.75l water bottle for €7.20 to be borderline. Because the store is rather small, everything is cramped and rather loud. Parking spaces either in a parking garage or, with luck, further away on side streets. But we'd love to come by again.

We have been guests here several times now and are always very satisfied. The food impresses us every time, as does the really great service and the beautiful ambience. The concept is perhaps based on Okinii, but here you can see how it is implemented much better. The food comes very quickly and the portions are very large. We will definitely come back

The food is really excellent and the service is friendly. Sometimes it takes a little longer or individual requests like “no sauce on the rolls” are forgotten, which is why not the full 5 stars. I think it's a shame that there is no parking space, as the street where the restaurant is located is also not suitable for parking. Still, it's worth it - in my opinion, the sushi here is one of the best in Düsseldorf. It never disappointed in taste.

We found the Ishi Fusion Restaurant in Düsseldorf to be excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a breathtaking atmosphere. The ordering process with the mobile phone also went smoothly and worked very well. The food itself tasted very good and was delicious, the quality was very good. The waiters were very friendly and immediately explained to us how the visit would work.

I'll start with one thing - WOW! to. It tastes sooooo good! The ambience is perfect and the service is probably the fastest I've ever experienced. Normally I know All You Can Eat with longer breaks between rounds but here, it's all about high speed 🚀

Ordering via tablet, friendly service and good quality food. We were able to make a reservation in the morning on the same day and everything went well. We really enjoyed the sushi and there is also a good selection for people who don't like raw fish. Gladly again!

Solid spot for those who are really hungry, but not a culinary highlight Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) I went to Ishi Fusion Sushi with a friend on a Friday evening without a reservation to test out their All You Can Eat offering. Luckily we got a table for two without any problem - the place was about half full. The service was quick, the food came quickly and without any major delays. The ordering system via your own cell phone is something different - you scan yourself into the WiFi and order directly from the digital card. However, with two people on one order it was sometimes confusing as to who actually ordered what. The menu navigation could definitely be made clearer. A bit of “app frustration” is probably part of it here. As for the food: it was fine. Of course, for 36.90 euros per person (excluding drinks) you shouldn't expect high-end sushi, and that's exactly what it wasn't. Quality and presentation were okay, but nothing special. If you just want to try a lot and eat your fill, you will get your money's worth here. However, when it comes to quality, I see Ishi as more of a compromise. For me personally, there won't be another visit - Baba Sushi in Düsseldorf is more my style when it comes to good value for money. But hey, if you're craving sushi in the area, Ishi's definitely not a bad choice!

Ambience and service top. Particularly easy because you can order everything via your cell phone. The crunchy rolls are good too. I would only advise against fish, i.e. nigiri - I thought it was ok, but not really good. Actually I would like to give something between 3-4 stars, that's not possible here. The reason 4 out of 5 stars overall is because the service was very good even when it was relatively busy.

The best sushi restaurant in town! After many visits to different restaurants, I can say that this one is unbeatable when it comes to quality. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right and work is carried out with the greatest care and utmost cleanliness. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff. The food is authentically Japanese, and you can even peek into the open kitchen as the dishes are freshly prepared. The food is always served quickly and hot - nothing stays lukewarm here. The waiting times are reasonable and the service is first class. If I could, I would even give it 10 stars!

Considering it's all-you-can-eat, I think the quality of the food is extremely high. The waiters are nice, but sometimes a bit disorganized.

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated extremely significantly. The pasta in particular consists almost entirely of pure oil. In general, the dishes here are very oily or there is a lot of cream cheese on the sushi. Tragically, the sushi is no longer as top-notch as it was, say, a year ago. Prices have skyrocketed.

From meat and fish to soups, vegetables and pasta dishes, all kinds of sushi and cold drinks of all kinds, everything is covered here. Very nice service. There are countless different small dishes on the menu that you can reorder at any time using a QR code on your smartphone. Will appear here more often. Great restaurant!

The sushi wasn't tasty at all. The fish looked like it had been sitting at room temperature for a long time. The sushi rice had no taste. Overall not good quality, we couldn't finish it. The atmosphere outside is not very nice, dirty tables and tippy plastic chairs. The service was completely ok.

Not recommended for sushi lovers. The sushi is just him. For example, I had the Dragon Roll and it wasn't that good when you pay all you can eat for €40. You could just go to a real sushi restaurant and get better food for the same money (less of course). But the sashimi here had nothing to do with real sashimi, for example. But if you prefer as much choice as possible when it comes to food and don't care so much about quality, you're in good hands here. A chicly decorated sushi restaurant with delicious food. It was my first time here for all you can eat and I was satisfied. The sushi and the warm dishes tasted very good and the ingredients were fresh. Slightly smaller portions would be desirable so that you can try more of the menu. The atmosphere is pleasant and the furnishings are very chic, but the tables are very close to each other, which unfortunately means that you sit very close to the other guests. The staff was very friendly and the orders were served very quickly. However, we find the price of almost €37 too expensive. Apart from the price, however, recommended.

An outstanding all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant! The ambience is harmonious, the food tastes impressive and the presentation of the dishes is imaginative. Foreword: the internet presence leaves a lot to be desired, typographical errors everywhere you can see. Unfortunately the food was also a disappointment. After the first round it was clear to us that we couldn't continue eating here. The temaki was almost impossible to eat and the mayo on the sushi rolls was inedible. The CrispyRolls were anything but crispy, coarse salt on the edamame?? All in all, not recommended from our side. Sushi with strawberry was our highlight (not) Appearances are deceptive when you rely on photos.

Hello everyone, we were there on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy, and as a result the waiting times were quite long - up to 20 minutes for a round of the all-you-can-eat menu to arrive. Some dishes didn't come at all, but that wasn't a big problem as you could order them in the next round. There were enough rounds to order. Let's get to the food: The sushi and fresh dishes are excellent, but I would advise against anything fried. While I was still in the restaurant my stomach turned, probably because the fried dishes were prepared with very old oil. I can't explain it any other way. On the way to the restaurant I noticed the smell of burnt fat in the air outside, which was then reflected in my stomach in the store. I can recommend the restaurant for fresh dishes, but definitely not for warm dishes. We sat at table 27 and ended up leaving quite a bit left over for fear that we might get worse. To be fair, no one insisted that we pay for the remaining dishes. I also didn't mention anything about the fried foods because there was so much going on and I was feeling so bad that all I wanted to do was get out. Unfortunately, 80 € for 2 people was wasted today, but you learn. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

We have enjoyed going there ever since it opened. The food tastes very good, fish is always fresh and sushi is of good quality. The food is very nicely prepared. The waiters are very friendly and quick, so far we haven't had a single negative experience. I can only recommend the restaurant.

July 26, 2024 Celiac disease update: the digital menu contains a convenient gluten filter, but unfortunately when preparing the gluten-free sushi variants, gluten-containing teriyaki sauce is used diligently, so everything contains gluten. You must therefore mention with every order that no sauce or gluten may be included. That worked very poorly. Unfortunately, you can't have confidence in dealing with allergens in the kitchen. Original review: Really incredibly tasty sushi and other Asian dishes that are available as an all-you-can-eat selection. I have already been able to convince many colleagues of this store who, like me, are rather critical of all-you-can-eat restaurants. But this restaurant definitely stands out among them. So far everyone has been thrilled - including the Japanese and Vietnamese 😊
