Well, you overdo it with the artificial chocolate smell, very unpleasant. Otherwise everything you “need” is M&Ms.

We had an overall great stay at Ashley’s Garden Hotel in Düsseldorf! The rooms were super cozy, stylishly furnished and, above all, spotlessly clean - you immediately notice that a lot of attention is paid to details. The beds were extremely comfortable, so you immediately felt comfortable and could sleep really well. The entire hotel has this special English country house style that really makes a difference - totally romantic and simply something different than these typical standard hotels. You feel like you're in a small, quiet oasis in the middle of the city. The staff were consistently friendly, accommodating and relaxed - we immediately felt welcome. The breakfast was also great: fresh, tasty and with a lot of choice - everything from fresh fruit to scrambled eggs to sweet treats was there. The location is also great: quiet, but you can still get to the city center or the Rhine quickly. Perfect for a city trip or simply a relaxing weekend. Conclusion: If you're ever in Düsseldorf and don't feel like going to 08/15, you should definitely treat yourself to Ashley's Garden. Great value for money, great atmosphere and cleanliness 10/10. We'll definitely be back!

Went there for breakfast today. The buffet is all organic, so it's great, but not as extensive. You can also order from the menu, but you only get one cup of coffee, and an extra cup costs another €6. The hotel and ambiance are very charming and beautiful. Redeeming a voucher from the city of Detmold was a bit complicated, but it worked in the end.

Food was good, I had meat loaf with two fried eggs and it came relatively quickly. Mustard, as stated on the menu, was initially not on the plate. After asking and initially misunderstanding on the part of the waitress with the funny glasses, four packets of mustard were handed to me with a sigh. Upon closer inspection, three of them had expired for a year (see photo). I probably won't come back, but it's not because of the food.

We wanted something to eat and drink after a walk around the lake. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time before anyone even noticed us (4 people), even though it wasn't that busy at the time. When our orders came, the waiter grabbed the drinks by the top of the glass and handed them that way. This wasn't very appetizing, as the fingers were clearly visible on the rim of the glass. The staff should pay more attention to this. Otherwise, everything was OK; the food was delicious...

I met Rosenrot at a very delicious breakfast. As already mentioned, I found the “Schneeweisschen” breakfast to be very tasty and filling. Any special requests can be addressed here. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I find the furnishings tasteful and the seating comfortable. I'd love to come back there.

We ordered schnitzel, but it tasted spoiled from the first bite. I didn't eat any of it… luckily, because the others had an upset stomach after eating it. We mentioned it to the waitress, who assured us everything was fresh. We had to pay full price for untouched food and a night of stomach problems…

Classic Burger & Pizza Margarita

Lovely food with a great extra tasty touch. Service is great but could be a bit more attentive! Great Appetizers and Marillen Schnaps at the end. Well worth it and very much recommended.

Very delicious food. We had the appetizer plate, the feta salad, and the fish pan. Lovely ambiance and friendly, attentive staff.

I was there for breakfast. The food and drinks were perfectly fine. The atmosphere was cozy. I was the only customer there and thought the service could have been a bit friendlier. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a smile on my face, and I thanked them every time and also tipped them. Maybe I was just having a bad day, it happens.
