It should be a bowl with minced beef, vegetables and a poached egg. The meal came with spaghetti without mince and sweet. I think it was the leftovers from lunch. It just shouldn't be sweet. It's a shame, it was a first. Chopped food was mixed in with it.

Ich bin heute morgen mit meiner Freundin spontan ins Mangold frühstücken. Für 10€ das Good Morning Wurst, lässt mehr als zu wünschen übrig. Es einfach nur erschreckend. Brötchen sind billige aufback Brötchen Anstatt 1 Scheibe Brot, bekommt man 1/2 Scheibe Weißbrot, 1/2 Graubrot, 1 Scheibe Mehrkornbrot 1 gekochtes Ei, halbe Scheibe gek. Schinken, halbe Scheibe Putenwurst, 1 Scheibe Serano und 4 ganz kleine Scheiben getrocknete Salami die schon zum Teil braun ist, und 1 Stück Butter für alles. Ich bin wirklich sprachlos. Der Kellner sogar noch total unfreundlich. Das MANGOLD IN DÜSSELDORF NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT UND HIER NIE WIEDER. Sparflamme hoch drei und unfreundlich

A pearl of Düsseldorf - Mangold has been around for 20 years now and remains a top address in the Rhine metropolis. We had very good food here - vegan falafel salad for the adults and fries with schnitzel for the kids. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Always a pleasure when I'm in Düsseldorf and looking for a special restaurant.

Had breakfast there for the first time today. What should we say? A lot of money was spent not really being able to top the bread. We had breakfast sausage and breakfast cheese. Half a slice of medium-aged Gouda was made into two slices. A small corner of Brie cheese and a slice of other cheese, a boiled egg, that's it for the sausage platter it's called a slice of ham. This slice was half a slice of ham from a whole one. Food looks nice etc but it's just too chunky to top the bread or rolls with.

Without words! Food and service 10/10! I recommend breakfast!

Nice start to the Sunday with the most delicious breakfast! We made a reservation the evening before and then spontaneously stayed outside because the weather was so nice. Our breakfasts were very tasty (Mangold & Great Morning) and the service was great. The selection is large and varied. The outdoor area is large. The prices for food are relatively high, but the drinks prices are okay.

Restaurant with outdoor area, slightly rustic furnishings with darker furniture, delicious food, e.g. E.g. cheeseburgers, but also schnitzels and salads. Very friendly service. Ground level toilets. The only downside is the acoustics. The restaurant is busy and the more people talking at the same time, the louder the background noise is when you're talking. If you want to eat with more than 2 people, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

Such a great restaurant! I have rarely been to such a great restaurant in Düsseldorf. In summer weather you can enjoy your meal outside! The pasta dishes are incredibly delicious. Thanks to the friendly waiter with the Chucks for the wonderful and friendly service!

Absolut fantastisch. Hatte die Fisch Tacos bestellt und was ich dachte ein kleine octopus gegrillt. 2 riesige tacos mit ganz viel Fisch Füllung dazu leckere Avocado Creme und Soßen . Perfekt. Danach noch besser gegrillte octopus „kleine“ Portion mit Kartoffel Kapern wilde Oliven Salat. Leider nicht geschafft. Super Service tolle Weißwein offen. Bin morgen wieder hier

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mangold Restaurant in Düsseldorf and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and shown to our table on the beautiful terrace. The atmosphere there is simply wonderful and perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was excellent. The portions were generous and every dish was a culinary delight. I would particularly like to emphasize the creativity of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients - the cooking here is of a high standard. A very special highlight, however, was the service. Our waiter was a total professional: attentive, friendly and with a great sense of humor. He made sure we felt completely comfortable. His idea was particularly amusing when he brought paper bags labeled "Prada" and "Gucci" to the ladies at the table who couldn't finish their dishes. This caused a lot of laughter and rounded off the evening perfectly. Many thanks to the entire team at the Mangold Restaurant for this wonderful evening. We would definitely like to come back!

When the waitress brought the drinks, she looked dismissively under the table and wrinkled her nose. We didn't even know what was going on and she just kept staring. Then she asked that the shoes should please be put back on. There would be other guests there who would definitely be disturbed while eating. As I said: There were a lot of people there basically barefoot and it was only possible to do something under the table with great effort. Complete downer the whole action and totally over the top. We would have loved to go back straight away. You have to be unlocked first... The shop is a bit more upscale than some village pubs, but to "twirl the etiquette" on a sun terrace in such a detached manner as if they had a Michelin star is quite an exaggeration. This doesn't leave a good atmosphere in the neighborhood. Unfortunately it wasn't a good experience to be whistled at like that for no reason. Really anything but customer friendly. But drinks were ok and the other waiter was nice and funny.

The staff was very friendly and attentive The food was perhaps not quite to my taste, the marinated chicken in sweet-chilli sauce was very sweet, the salad consisted of a lot of leaf lettuce with only 2 slices of tomatoes but it was fine For once was OK

Well, I have to honestly say that this bar does everything right. Staff everywhere, as friendly as my dog ​​groomer. I tell you, you can eat here and enjoy life. The vegan delicacies are a real treat for the palate. There is no annoying music and you can have a great conversation. The prices are fair and absolutely justified in direct comparison to the food served. At this point I would of course also like to highlight the beautiful decoration again. Wooden tables, a small fire station for the little ones to play with. The staff also pulls out a sparkler when it's someone's birthday or New Year's Eve. One more thing: the fire brigade is only for children, but I was still allowed to play with it briefly. Of course my nephew was pretty jealous, but he didn't pay for the meal either. As soon as he's old enough to invite me here, he'll be allowed to play with the fire department. But I don't want to talk too much about my nephew Edgar-Urwill, after all, this is actually about this banger restaurant which I would like to recommend to my followers. Remember, if you eat here once, you'll come back. Mark my words. So it's best not to think about it and come straight away. By the way, I recommend making a reservation in advance because, as I said, there is only one fire toy.

Food was very average, the price is m.m.n. too high for what is offered. For example, the coleslaw side dish tasted 1:1 like a normal ready-made salad from the supermarket. I would have expected it differently given the price. Disappointing As usual, not really bad, but not really convincing either.

During my last visit to the Mangold restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. It's not every day that you come across a restaurant that shines with such warmth and hospitality. The staff at Mangold really exceeded all expectations in terms of friendliness and service. They were attentive, warm and made the visit a personal experience. The food itself was worth exploring. I opted for a hearty breakfast, and every item on the plate was a testament to the kitchen team's commitment to quality and taste. The creativity and care that goes into their dishes was clearly visible and more importantly - tasteable. It's obvious that Mangold places great emphasis on selecting high-quality ingredients, which is reflected in every bite. However, it must be mentioned that prices at Mangold are slightly above average. This might initially surprise some guests. However, when you consider the quality of the food, the excellent service and the overall experience, these prices seem justified. Good food and exceptional service come at a price, and you definitely get value for your money at Mangold. In summary, the Mangold restaurant is an enrichment for the gastronomic landscape. Despite the slightly higher prices, I would return without hesitation. The combination of friendly staff, exquisite food and a warm atmosphere makes every visit a special experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying more delicacies from their menu. Gladly again!

Update 05/2024: Prices are now reaching a level that brings with them high expectations. Cheeseburger with fries €22, pork schnitzel €23, large cola or apple spritzer just under €5. The service is very friendly and the ingredients are sustainable. However, not everything is right when it comes to preparation. Temperature, cooking time and portion size as well as freshness could be optimized. The schnitzel used to be one of the best in Düsseldorf, but I can't think of it anymore. All restaurateurs had to increase, but for this restaurant it is now really too expensive for us.

Always good, cool breakfast and if that's not enough, you can order whatever you like from the menu all day long. Price, performance and quality are consistently good.

It's a good restaurant, with nice outdoor lighting. Food fresh, good products, huge portions. Had a great salad there. Price/performance top. Nice personel. Again and again.

Very tasty food, delicious beer - a bit slow service for Düsseldorf

A great discovery! It was my first time at Mangold - it certainly wouldn't be the last time. We were served by an incredibly friendly and happy employee. There was delicious tea in a pot, a bowl with asparagus and roasted vegetables, and a sumptuous Cesar salad. The main courses came to the table quickly, hot and very tasty. The card speaks for creative minds in the kitchen. The price is high, but very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Beautiful cakes are displayed in a refrigerated counter, so you'll definitely be craving dessert. We'll definitely try breakfast too! Small suggestion for improvement -> seat cushions for the chairs would be perfect ;)

Great breakfast restaurant, attentive service and delicious food

Excellent fish soup with generously cut fish fillets and an unusual rouille with curry. Typical bistro, small distance to the neighboring table without table linen but a comfortable table size.

The food has always been delicious. It was prepared in a reasonable time and the price/performance was also correct. Since the dining room is very open, it can get a little louder when the tables are fully booked (hence 1 star deducted for the ambience). Lunch is also offered. Would eat there again.

I am here regularly and enjoy it. Especially for breakfast. Loose, relaxed and simply always good. I've never had a bad burger here either. I'd love to come back regularly!

Well, what can I say. It was okay, but when we were asked if it tasted good, my answer wasn't quite what was expected and it was almost noticeable and the staff handled it very unprofessionally! In addition, all the ingredients are individually and not together on a plate, which is what makes it so special for me, especially with gyros! First, a small bowl of salad, like a regular side salad, fries in a small bowl and the completely over-seasoned meat alone on a plate. The mayonnaise came later, but in a mini plastic container with a lid, like the one you take away, really fuzzi and so it was like combining food and a mixed intake was almost impossible. Getting mayo on the fries was also very special.

Very tasty food, something for everyone and always top quality, even if it's not exactly cheap! The salads are simply amazing!

We had lunch here during a shoot. I pre-ordered by email and it was absolutely recommended. All 9 people were satisfied.

The service and food were great, but the prices are really high. We had breakfast for two, which costs €49, but it's really a lot, we couldn't manage it with just two of us. In my opinion, it's not really worth it, you're better served with the individual breakfasts, especially since only two small orange juices are included and you have to pay extra for all other drinks and coffee. In any case, we lost almost €70 and that is of course steep for a breakfast.

Es gibt ein Parkhaus in der nähe.

Wir waren hier zum Frühstück mit 8 Leuten. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Frühstücken ist riesig und die Qualität sehr gut. Saulecker quasi 😉! Es war aber auch sehr voll und laut, was sicherlich der Tatsache geschuldet war, das es das letzte Wochenende vor Weihnachten war. Dafür war das Personal trotzdem sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Blick in die Karte verhieß auch für andere Tageszeiten leckere Gerichte. Das werden wir im neuen Jahr ebenfalls gerne testen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, gute Portionen zu angemessenen Preisen. Der Service war nett, aber es hat sehr lange gedauert, bis die Getränke nachgefüllt wurden.

definitely our go-to neighborhood brunch place. food and drinks are delicious, and service is welcoming and attentive. there’s a good selection of both breakfast and lunch dishes, and i highly recommend the lachs eggs benedict, avocado brunch bowl, and the düsseldorfer jonges. parking is a tad difficult, but there are plenty of bike racks nearby. there’s lots of seating available and even more during the summer, and we can typically get a seat without reservations.

Die Servicekraft war super nett, aber ich musste ewig auf die Speisekarte warten. Das Restaurant ist soweit gemütlich. Aber die Ente, war geschmacklich super langweilig und der Rotkohl hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Habe nie schlechteren gegessen. Meine Freundin war schon öfter da und sagt, dass es sonst immer super gut schmeckt. Ich werde es also nochmal versuchen.

Die Bedienung braucht für die Mittagszeit etwas lang. Dennoch gutes Ambiente und Essen, sowie Preise. Gerolsteiner-Wasser mag ich persönlich nicht so gerne, ist aber Geschmackssache.

Eines der wenigen Frühstückslokale in der Gegend. Leckeres Frühstück in guter Qualität.

Wir waren heute zu viert zum Abendessen im Mangold und wurden mehr als enttäuscht. Es fing schon damit an, dass auf einem Stuhl eine Tomate lag und der Tisch speckig/klebrig war. Wir haben nach einer Stunde nachgefragt, da wir noch kein Essen serviert bekommen hatten. In dieser Zeit wurden wir auch gar nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. 20 Minuten später wurden uns 2 trockene Scheiben Brot zur Überbrückung gereicht und anschließend das eilig zubereitete Essen. Keine Entschuldigung für die Wartezeit. Die Burger waren teilweise verkohlt, die Pommes mehlig und die Nudeln schwammen in Öl. Der Kellner räumte die Teller ab ohne nachzufragen, ob es uns geschmeckt hat. Jeder macht mal Fehler, keine Frage. Aber der Umgang damit war mehr als ungastfreundlich.

Das Mangold ist in Düsseldorf schon lange etabliert. Nicht ohne Grund... Leckere Speisen, auch für Veganer. Super netter Service. Sehr ungezwungenes, aber gemütliches Ambiente. Super Espresso. Das ganze bei absolut moderaten Preisen.

Sehr gutes Lokal für ein Sonntagsfrühstück. Reservierung für größere Gruppen notwendig. Frühstückauswahl sehr reichhaltig. Hier findet jeder was. Zur PrimeTime ~ 11:00 Uhr voll und laut.

Das Frühstück war lecker. Wir haben uns zu 2t das Canadian Frühstück geteilt. Brot in verschiedenen Variationen war zur genüge vorhanden. Die Pancakes sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich, aber durch die hohe Auslastung des Lokals nicht immer da, wenn man sie gebraucht hätte. Das war an diesem Morgen allerdings auch kaum machbar, so voll wie es war.

Ein total nettes Restaurant mit außergewöhnlichen und super leckeren Gerichten auf der Karte. Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen und dann kam der Pulpo - ein Traum! Super lecker mariniert und gegrillt. Auch gar nicht fettig. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Kommen aus der Nachbarschaft und gehen hin und wieder am Wochenende hin. Preisleistung wäre da vier Sterne. Werktags wirkt der Service zur Mittagszeit auf mich überheblich und nicht freundlich. Da ist die Preisleistung aus meiner Sicht ein Stern. Schnitt also drei Sterne (aufgerundet).

Zum Frühstück absolut Top. Waren mal wieder begeistert. Personal 1a.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Ich gehe gerne regelmäßig hier hin und trotz Inflation sind die Preise im Mangold absolut moderat und zeitgemäß. Unabhängig von der Tageszeit bietet sich ein Besuch zum Frühstück/Brunch/Mittag/Abendessen an.

Im Restaurant Mangold hatte ich den Avocado Falafel Burger mit Pommes bestellt. Der Burger war insgesamt gut, obwohl der Falafel-Patty ein wenig trocken war. Der Service war wirklich klasse, das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich denke, ich werde beim nächsten Besuch definitiv für Kaffee und Kuchen wiederkommen. Ganz praktisch: Es gibt ein Parkhaus direkt gegenüber, für 2 Euro pro Stunde.
