We just wanted to grab something to eat to keep an appointment and said so right away. Then we were able to eat in no time and still had a very nice experience. Great service, great food, nice terrace and good prices.

Ein sehr schöner Location mit sehr professionellen, sehr gut ausgebildeten Kellnern. Das Essen war bei jedem von uns sehr gut! Die Getränke waren ausgezeichnet! Hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal.

Wir sind spontan an einem schönen Sommerabend hier gelandet. Da es ein Montag war, war es recht leer. Das Ambiente in dem Lokal im alten Amtsgericht ist elegant und schön, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen war lecker und ansprechend. Der große Schock kam mit der Rechnung: für zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Desserts, eine große Flasche Wasser und zwei geizig eingeschenkte kleine Gläser Prosecco in Supermarktqualität waren sage und schreibe 106 Eur zu berappen, wo bei das Wasser mit 14 Eur und die zwei Schlucke Schaumwein mit je 15 Eur zu Buche schlugen. Das ist unverschämt und durch nichts zu rechtfertigen, außer vielleicht mit dem Umstand, dass das Restaurant an ein Hotel angeschlossen ist und viele (Messe-)Gäste dort sind, die nie wieder kommen. Wirklich sehr schade. Das hat uns den Abend verdorben. Wir wären gerne zu besonderen Anlässen wieder gekommen, da das Essen wirklich sehr gut war.

Ate here a c ouple of times. Restaurant seems to be attached to the next door hotel but is thoughtfully laid out and quite interesting nevertheless. The menu is well curated and the food is well prepared. Service is fine. One of the better hotel restaurants we've been too and not too expensive either.

Amending this review as we returned a second evening …. On our first visit Every bite was a pleasure … antipasto, carbonara, duck 🦆 breast and the warm bread and olive 🫒 oil. On the second it seemed they were not only short on service but ingredients and two dishes we repeated didn’t resemble the previous evening. They were still tasty but seemed that they were constructed based on what was available. The servers are very nice but seemed stretched. It’s an upmarket place but very comfortable and casual sitting outside. Curated wine list and options by the glass.

I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought it was a hotel restaurant, but this Italian restaurant exceeded all my expectations! Honestly, I've lived in Düsseldorf for years and I can say that this is one of the best, if not the best Italian restaurant in the city. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was inviting and the highlight was definitely how they served our wine with a decanter - a real difference in taste! We tried many starters and main courses and definitely plan to return soon. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and try everything on the menu. Big compliments to this restaurant, which we discovered by chance but is now one of our favorites.

The two of us had breakfast and we were both thrilled. The staff and clientele were super friendly and accommodating. The buffet has a huge selection + warm egg dishes from the menu. The restaurant is very nice, clean and tastefully decorated. Clear recommendation :)

The price of the 75cl bottle of water at €14 is scandalous.

Wir besuchen seit Jahren das Wellem und haben dort bereits unzählige Male gefrühstückt. In den letzten Jahren hat es viele Veränderungen und Verbesserungsversuche gegeben, die für uns bisher nie zu einem positiven Erlebnis geführt haben. Auch bei diesem Aufenthalt haben wir wieder im pitti gefrühstückt und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Das Angebot war sehr reichhaltig und ansprechend. Was uns besonders positiv aufgefallen war der überaus aufmerksame Service durch Habib. Er hat sich sehr warmherzig um uns gekümmert und uns ein wundervolles Frühstück beschert.

A friend and I went to eat here yesterday, totally by chance, with 3 small children! Apart from the extremely friendly welcome from all the staff and the beautiful ambience, “Mario” served us and anticipated our children's every wish. It was one of the few very pleasant visits to a restaurant with small children! Very friendly, child-loving staff and delicious food! Thanks for a nice afternoon! We will come back in any case!!!

Great Italian restaurant. Highly recommended

Restaurant pitti in Wellem Dusseldorf voldeed niet aan mijn verwachtingen van een Italiaans restaurant. Het eten was ondermaats en leek niet op de authentieke Italiaanse gerechten die ik gewend ben. De vitello tonato had een saus die naar bedorven vis rook, het kalfsvlees was droog en hard, de casio e pepe was een simpele pasta met weinig smaak, de zeebaars was overgaar en verkleurd, de zalm was taai en de pasta was te veel en te saai. De service was onbeleefd en onoplettend, de ambiance was koud en luidruchtig, en de prijzen waren te hoog voor de kwaliteit die geboden werd. Ik was zeer teleurgesteld in mijn ervaring bij restaurant pitti en ik zou het niemand aanraden om hier te gaan eten. Restaurant pitti is een slechte keuze voor liefhebbers van de Italiaanse keuken.

Very good restaurant. Service and food great!

We spent Christmas Eve there. The service is really, really good, very accommodating and friendly. We felt very comfortable. The food was also delicious. The only really annoying disadvantage in this restaurant is that it is very, very loud and unpleasant to hear when the guests move their chairs. This is definitely due to the tiled floor. Maybe you should invest in felt stoppers, as we also noticed at the other tables that people felt very disturbed when the chairs were moved, which of course happens every few minutes given the size of this restaurant. We'd still love to come back, and we'll be even happier when it's a little quieter.

Wir sind spontan in das Pitti gegangen und haben nach einer kurzen Wartezeit einen schönen Platz am Fenster bekommen. Der Service war super schnell und wir hatten nach nur wenigen Minuten frisches Brot mit Oliven Aufstrich. Alles in allem waren wir für ein (von uns gewollt) schnellen Lunch nur 35 Minuten da. Das Essen war trotzdem super und die Bedienung zeigte viel Verständnis für unseren Zeitdruck. Sehr zu empfehlen: Die Rinder-Tagliatelle.

The two of us were there for Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. It was a really successful evening. There was even a water bowl ready for our dog. The food was great, the service was outstanding and the pricing was fair. One star deducted for the ambience because it was far too warm and the chairs made incredibly nasty, squeaking noises when they were moved. This could be quickly eliminated with a bit of felt.

We spontaneously went from Hotel The Wellem to Pitti for breakfast. Habib welcomed us and gave us a table in the upper area due to the occupancy. There, Natascha welcomed and cared for her with a big heart. The staff, the buffet and the ambience are second to none. An absolute experience to dine there with us *****

A very nice atmosphere. The service staff was very attentive and very friendly. But unfortunately the food was absolutely not convincing. As a starter I decided on the carpaccio, unfortunately I didn't get the classic carpaccio with rocket, parmesan and olive oil, but a carpaccio with a fat layer of mustard mayonnaise or mustard sauce (I couldn't define it correctly), so that man couldn't enjoy the good meat. For the main course I had corn-fed chicken with risotto. The risotto was good, the chicken was so dry that I had to rinse every bite with water. Unfortunately the price/quality is not in proportion, what a shame!

Dort begrüßte und umsorgte mit einem großen Herz - Natascha. Die Mitarbeiter, das Buffet und das Ambiente suchen seinersgleichen. Ein absolutes Erlebnis dort zu speisen von uns *****

Die Gerichte waren köstlich, frisch zubereitet und wunderschön anzuschauen. Es hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Der Service war schnell und freundlich, die Dekoration und das Interieur waren sehr elegant eingerichtet. Gerne zu wiederholen!

If you find yourself in Dusseldorf, a visit to Pitti in the Andreas quarter is a must. Our time there was made absolutely unforgettable by Habib's exceptional service. His welcoming smile and vibrant personality alone are worth the trip. Beyond the delightful food, including a favorite breakfast buffet of mine, it was truly the unparalleled service and hospitality of Habib that defined the experience. I'm eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to return soon.

Antonio bediente uns hervorragend, höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut und dafür herzlichen Dank an den Koch Daniel. Am Rande der Altstadt gelegen mit herrlicher Terrasse. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder.

Exzellentes Essen mit tollem Service. Wieder ein Restaurant in einem Hotel (The Wellam) das mit einem ausgesprochen guten Italiener im Haus überrascht. Sehr aufmerksamer Service auch spät am Abend. Die Gerichte waren von toller Qualität. Das Ambiente überrascht mit einem schicken Wintergarten. Küche mit passenden Gerichten ganztägig geöffnet. Schöner Aussenbereich bei tollem Wetter nach vorne zur Straße und ruhiger nach hinten zum Garten. Das Restaurant ist auch separat vom Hotel erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nach meinem Besuch kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen, dass der Ort nur für eine Weinverkostung o.ä. geeignet ist. Das habe ich dort jedoch nicht gemacht - muss jemand anderer für mich machen und bewerten. >Essen: Die Speisekarte ist sehr begrenzt, was Essen angeht, und dann gibt es noch Gerichte, die zwar unterschiedlich heißen, aber zu 100% (?!?!) identisch sind. Ich habe 2 unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt, das gleiche für beide bezahlt, und am Ende kam das Gleiche doppelt, mit dem Unterschied, dass bei einem Gericht (trotz des gleichen Preises) nur die Hälfte von der Beilage lag. Das ist für keinen Restaurant erlaubt, aber vor allem für einen sich hoch positionierenden Restaurant! Das Essen bewerte ich mit einer 5/10. Ist ok, würde ich aber nich noch Mal bestellen/empfehlen. >Nachtische gibt es nur 2: Limoncello Cheesecake und Mascarpone mit Beeren. >Getränke: unendlich viel Wein, standard Aperitifs, Gin Tonic als Longdrink, Softdrinks unf Kaffee - das wars. >Service war sehr aufmerksam und entsprechend schnell - dafür gebe ich gerne einen Stern. >Toiletten sind neu und sauber. Mit Marylin Monroe in einer Kabine zu sitzen ist schon ein unbeschreibendes Erlebnis. Alles in allem: lohnt sich nicht, Preis-Leistung=-10, nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

Magnifique surprise . Nous avons découvert ce restaurant qui offre un super cadre , une ambiance chic et un très large choix de son buffet. Le maître d'hôtel M.Habib multilingue nous a bien accueilli avec une grande gentillesse . Le service est remarquable .Les omelettes sont excellentes comme tout le reste . On recommande vivement.

Me and my colleagues stayed at The Wellem for a trade show and were in town for two weeks. We had breakfast at the Pitti buffet each morning. Habib and the rest of the crew were incredible and made us feel at home each morning, remembering our coffee and tea preferences and welcoming us warmly. The food selection is diverse and everything is fresh with options for everybody. Fresh rolls, sliced meats, cheeses, many jams, American and European breakfast options, fruits, juices, and a good selection of healthy options. There was also a made to order menu for omelettes, waffles, and other egg dishes. My wife and I ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was also very good with interesting dishes like the seafood cappuccino which is served in a cappuccino cup. If returning to Düsseldorf, we would definitely return to The Wellem and to Pitti

Gisteren hier gegeten, uitgebreide lunch. Blij verrast. Vrolijke bediening en top Italiaanse keuken. Een gedeeld voorgerecht met burrata, pasta zeevruchten en risotto paddestoelen.

Wir wollten unseren Jahrestag mit einem schönen Abendessen im Pitti feiern. Wir hatten von Freunden den Tipp bekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Kellner war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und stand uns bei der Getränke und Weinauswahl beratend zu Seite. Es war ein perfekter Abend mit tollen Weinen und Genuß für den Gaumen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, super Service und ein toller Abend! Vielen Dank, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Pitti sehr schönes Lokal, sehr Modern und Italienisch. Qualität ist sehr gut, bin schon Dreimal hier gewesen.

To start uncomfortable seating, you have to sit with your knees either side of a thick wooden pedestal or lean forward on the edge of your seat. Service slow and inattentive especially as there were only 11 diners in the restaurant, the waiting staff disappeared for long periods of time. Ordered onion soup which came with a long branch of woody thyme that should have been discarded. Main course acceptable but bland and only 2 choices of dessert. We choose the the panna cotta which would of bounced if it hit the floor! Poor representation of an Italian restaurant.

Sehr freundlicher Kellner. Hochpreisiges gutes Essen. Nicht so überfüllt wie manch anderer Laden in der Altstadt. Etwas übersichtliches Angebot. Schwieriger Start sicherlich in der heutigen Zeit, aber auf dem richtigen Weg ! Weiter so !

İyi niyetli bir çaba var ekipte ama zorlama hissettiren bir profesyonel tavır samimiyetten şüphe ettiriyor, mekan dekorasyonu mimarı açıdan çok başarılı ama sanki bölge standardının üzerindeki bedelin karşılığını aldığınızı hissetmiyorsunuz, et yiyenler memnun değildi, somon iyiydi, başlangıçlar çok başarılı ve iyi bir şarap menüsü var. Kalabalıkta servisin altından kalkamazlar gibi geliyor.

Very friendly waiters. Good wine and good food. Perfect for a refreshing lunch.

We hebben dit restaurant op een vrijdag avond bezocht. Het was niet druk. Het eten was van goede kwaliteit, smaakvol en zag er goed uit. Ook het restaurant vonden we sfeervol. Wel vonden we de prijzen van de gerechten aan de bovenkant. Een glas wijn ligt rond de 10 euro en een fles minimaal 50 euro. De wijn was overigens wel van goede kwaliteit. Er werd een drie gangen menu geboden voor 30 euro maar dit menu past niet echt binnen het concept van het restaurant. De service was er een van uitersten. De sterren waren de dames in de bediening, vriendelijk, gastvrij, open, alles wat een goede service vereist. Helaas kwam de Italiaanse heer in de service overdreven, onvriendelijk, uit de hoogte en wellicht soms een tikje onbeschoft over. Wilt u lekker eten en een goed glas wijn en maakt het u niet uit dat de prijzen aan de hoge kant zijn dan is dit een goed adres. En vraag dan gewoon of de dames u ook de service kunnen verlenen dan heeft u een leuke avond.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Restaurant Pitti. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Rechnung war relativ hoch, mit ca. 60 € pro Person. Aber die Location, Bedienung und die Qualität des Essens haben uns überzeugt.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Restaurant. Wir konnten sehr kurzfristig ein exklusives Abendessen für unsere Kunden in einem Wintergarten veranstalten, den wir exklusiv für uns hatten. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an 1a! Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Bianca für den erstklassigen Service und die sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, die sie mit ihrer Kollegin geschaffen hat.
