The location is unique. Otherwise, almost all of the potential to become one of the most beautiful beer gardens in RheinRuhr will be wasted. The grumpy service, the offerings and the 25-year-old laminated menu top it all off. Just a shame. Really a shame.

A very nice location. BUT: the service is really impossible. Waiters listless, seem annoyed. Very inflexible. Despite poor service, we tipped out of respect, the waiter didn't even say thank you/bye. There wasn't much going on, so you can't blame it on stress. We were there several times - always had the same experience.

A large, quiet and comfortable place, with beautiful and picturesque views, and close to a large sea, Asma Rayen is considered the most beautiful atmosphere in this region.

A very nice day on a Sunday, 21 degrees, the sun is shining, you are prepared for a wonderful afternoon with delicious food. When you ask for a place, the waitress starts talking to you and tells you, yes, sit down, but who knows whether you will be served, after a while we found a place. When ordering it goes on, would the sauce be a part of the schnitzel dish, no! Definitely not enough staff, the kitchen can't handle that. For me as a restaurateur, an absolute no-go! Staff unfriendly and quickly feel attacked, friendliness needs to be worked on urgently and perhaps on a Sunday when the sun is shining and it's 21 degrees, you should plan for 2 more people if 6 waiters are not enough. Stumbled upon it by chance on our return journey home. We returned via the Rhine instead of the highway. We sat comfortably and we saw the pound in our sights, which we of course took advantage of

We were there for a birthday party with almost over 20 people. The service staff were friendly and attentive, everyone enjoyed it. Special highlight: Although it wasn't ordered, a great vegan menu was spontaneously put together. All around a great experience👍🏻

Beautifully located on the Rhine, on the Kaiserswerth-Kierst Rhine ferry. I just had a drink. The food looked good. I can't say whether the price is right. Popular restaurant also because of its convenient location for cyclists and cars. Parking spaces available. Large terrace, difficult with a wheelchair ♿️, cramped with a walker. I can't judge the interiors.

Very nicely located, direct view of the Rhine. Beer garden beautifully laid out under large trees, interior comfortable for small and larger groups. The food was always delicious and the prices were reasonable. The waiter was just great, polite, attentive, quick and just nice. We'll be back.

We only drank a beer together after dinner (in another restaurant), but the food from the neighboring table smelled so delicious that we decided that we would definitely come back to eat. Then I will report.

The waiter was more than unfriendly because we didn't eat enough, one meal and two drinks. You could do without guests like us, even though we weren't asked once if we wanted something to drink or eat. Tables were not cleared and were not cleaned. There were also other guests who weren't happy and had to hear really stupid comments from the waiters.

I used to enjoy being here, always a nice stop on the bike tour, but it won't be happening anymore. Ordered water "without", received water "with" (poured), complained... Answer from the service person (operator 10, according to the receipt): "Yes, now you've drunk it!" Then later: “Did it taste good?!” My answer: The coffee tastes a bit tarnished/burnt. Answer: “It can’t be, it just came out of the machine.” A cappuccino that was neither ordered nor drunk was found on the bill and pointed out. Answer: "Ah! So that's where he went?!" All in all, a well-rounded experience, but one I don't need. The store used to be good, but now it's no longer a recommendation. They don't see me there anymore. 3x scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, 2 rolls (32.80), 2 bottles of water (15.80) (actually it should only be 1) 1 "coffee" (4.90) ==> €53.10 (after deducting the cappuccino - 4.90).

Waiter super unfriendly, says stupid things to guests and insults them. Tables weren't cleared, we weren't even asked if we wanted something more to drink or eat. Food mediocre to bad for expensive prices. The ambience is nice thanks to the Rhine, otherwise avoid the resteraunt

Very nice atmosphere right on the Rhine, the food was rich and very tasty. There were seven of us and we received our food at the same time. The service was great, attentive, helpful, quick and very humorous. We felt very comfortable.

This time I unfortunately have to say that the service didn't work at all; The young service employees walk all the way from picking up food or drinks and walk through the beer garden with a glass of cola. The 2 to 3 guests per table next to our table waited a long time, just like us; the tables were not cleared and no table was wiped down before the food was served; In our case it was simply placed on the dirty table - the waiter walked away without leaving us any cutlery. Even though I asked if he had a rag to wipe it with, nothing came and then nothing. That's not what we're used to in this otherwise beautiful beer garden under the beautiful trees... it's a shame. I'm of the opinion that the statement "there's a lack of staff" doesn't always count... But it definitely doesn't work THAT way

Tables outside were dirty, then wiped with an even dirtier wet dripping rag when requested, but not wiped dry. Toilets very dirty. Overall just a run down shop. That was different years ago. The staff is sitting outside visibly smoking, rather than doing so somewhere behind the house. Some of the staff are hard-working and friendly, but other parts of the staff are not motivated. Disputes then arise about this, some of which are audibly carried out in front of customers. I can't recommend the store based on my experience and that hasn't been the case in the past. Maybe the boss here will read this and change something. The side salad wasn't really fresh and I would definitely avoid it. I definitely had digestive problems afterwards...

Really good food and very friendly staff. That wasn't always the case here. We were even more pleased. Keep it up. (We enjoyed cakes, soups, salads and drinks outside)

Food very expensive, quick to prepare, moderately warm. Half of the large salad consists of warmed, not very tasty turkey meat. The second meal also consisted of quickly thrown together components and also way too much meat. So never again. Given that it is at a junction for cyclists and hikers, it gives me the impression of a tourist trap. Not recommended for eating. The technical term restaurant is completely inappropriate here, at best it means a bad snack bar.

Cuisine: good, middle-class in a positive sense. Enough choice, portions sufficient and tasty. Top: fried potatoes without bacon, (large) still water not chilled. Prices are reasonable, even rather low for the location. Service: friendly, relaxed and quick, not a long wait even when the beer garden is busy. Ambience: I was only in the beer garden, which is of course a dream. What I saw of the interior was fine and clean. All in all a very positive impression, so I will definitely come back

The food is not only not good but also not worth the price. Chanterelles were ordered with a large salad and baguette. The baguette was 2 slices of a thin baguette. It wasn't crispy either, just mushy. The chanterelles were with onions, bacon and tomatoes. What are the tomatoes doing there? For the large salad, which was also on the same plate, in addition to the chanterelles, the kitchen fairy used everything that was lying around - carrots, white cabbage, a slice of orange, hot peppers, half a small canned peach, tomatoes, cucumbers and a few lettuce leaves. Nobody in the kitchen has probably noticed that this combination doesn't go together at all. All the fun costs around 20 euros. The chanterelles make up perhaps 50-80 grams. No recommendation. The second dish was a giant Berlin currywurst with fries. The currywurst was normal size and came with half a portion of fries. The plate was half empty. The whole thing for €12.50. The currywurst and fries were of sufficient quality and taste, but too expensive.

Yesterday we took a trip with our dogs to Kaiserswerth and stopped here for lunch. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere outside by the beer garden and from a distance the dishes looked very appealing. Our first surprise was the bad service, which is rarely experienced. The young waiter (presumably his first or second day on the job) was notoriously overwhelmed and unable to serve multiple tables. Even though the restaurant wasn't full, we waited forever to take our order. Then some of our drinks fell over on the tray (after they were finally there). The food on the plate was only half as appealing as it had been from a distance. The taste was definitely edible but we definitely expected something different for the high price. We definitely won't be showing up here again. It's a shame actually - the location definitely has potential.

Food was okay, the humming of the ships made a surprising amount of noise. Not exactly a surplus for vegetarians. Service was very quick and friendly!

Good home cooking. The dishes taste good and there aren't too many on the plate. The price is also not exorbitant. There are several options for sitting outside or inside. Service is good and was very friendly. If you come by car, you have to pay €5 in the parking lot. After eating it in the restaurant you get €4 back. All in all a good restaurant. A well-located excursion restaurant, directly at the Kaiserswerth ferry. A beautiful beer garden with great old trees and nice service staff. So far so good. Now if only the quality of the food were a bit better... Unfortunately it can't keep up with the ambience, a bit small portions, a bit not tasty enough... It's an acceptable first aid against hunger but no longer. But for a beer or something else to drink: great!

As an allergy sufferer you have bad cards. Flexibility and friendliness are foreign words. Thank you, we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately the food is only warmed up. Even the turkey strips for the salad are bought marinated, according to the service, and then warmed up. But the prices are hefty. Very unfortunate.

A very nice beer garden. We stayed for a long time with 3 people and felt very comfortable, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The service employee was very friendly, competent, helpful and quick without being intrusive. Lunch was fine. We will come back more often in the summer months. We can only recommend this restaurant.

We were here with the 🚲 after visiting the state parliament. Tables were immediately put together for the group (this is not common everywhere). The service is friendly, courteous and very quick. The food was very tasty, whether Matjes Currywurst or Leberkäse. Particularly noteworthy is the homemade cake. . . Really tasty. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio for the main courses isn't right.

Very tasty ice cream. I can't say anything about other dishes, but the waiter was extremely attentive and had one or two humorous sayings on his lips. You felt in good hands.

It's very nice to sit outside. Is a home-style excursion restaurant. The food is ok. Prices average.

Unfortunately, the view and the lady from the service are the only things that can be rated as positive. My partner and I ordered pork medallions and rump steak including side dishes. We were slightly surprised because shortly after the drinks, the meals were also served (about 10 minutes after the order). The fried potatoes were partly black, but (at most) lukewarm, as was the steak. It was no different for my partner, except that the pork medallions were not pork medallions and unfortunately they were bloody. The salad was and looked like it had been prepared a long time ago. Given our experience, we cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.

We were there today with 10 people. The cellar tried very hard to put together tables for us very quickly. Every single (extra) request was responded to very nicely. It was a nice friendly gathering with good cake, coffee, etc. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

A rainy day in May, I'm sitting here under the umbrella on the terrace with a view of the Rhine; Currywurst with fries, as crispy as I like them, just looking at it gives me heartburn, wonderful, that's exactly how it should be! The ships glide by and I enjoy the time so much that the cappuccino gets cold. I was satisfied, the best 3 hours of my stay in Düsseldorf so far.

It was very busy (Mother's Day) so the waiters were very busy and it took a little longer to be served. But the men and women can't do more than work. We didn't eat anything, but everything looked very tasty. Next time there will be something to eat too.

The food was very good, the waiter was a bit overwhelmed and in a moderately good mood. The ambience was nice... It just has the feel of a beer garden 🤷‍♀️

Very nicely located excursion restaurant in the Düsseldorf district of Kaiserswerth. Terrace, beer garden, parking lot. The desired dishes were not available, but what was offered as a substitute was of good quality.

I was so looking forward to delicious food yesterday... Service was good, food came quickly... Asparagus, the whole meal was completely lukewarm... Hollandaise is served cold... even after three friendly comments, there was no reaction... there I am honestly considering the price... fried schnitzels were swimming in fat potatoes delicious but cold asparagus great but lukewarm... very unfortunate... that's never happened to me there

Large beer garden, which is pretty crowded when the weather is good. Simple food offer. The waiters try hard, but sometimes it takes a while due to the high number of visitors.

We just came from the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. The service was friendly, accommodating and funny. It started to rain so he moved us without any ifs or buts. The food was excellent, 2 x curry slices with rice, 1 x schnitzel Diana with mushroom sauce and 1 x Rhenish sauerbraten. All plates empty!!!! We were thrilled and can only recommend the restaurant!!
