Restaurant im Wertschätzer in Detmold

For our civil wedding, we invited our guests to the breakfast buffet in the WertSchätzer restaurant and were thrilled! The food was great, all of our guests were very satisfied, the service was top and the preliminary discussions were also excellent. Very friendly and all of our wishes were more than fulfilled. We would be happy to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the location for events to everyone!

I had a voucher so I was there for breakfast. Everything is very sweetly made and presented. The buffet scored points with quality and freshness. Unfortunately not with much choice. Everything was small. Even the buffet itself only consisted of two counters. Not much choice when it comes to cold cuts or spreads. There was a lot available and every type of breakfast was served, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right in my opinion. The price for the buffet for 2 people is almost €50! I would come again because everything was prepared with love and the ambience was nice, but I wouldn't choose the buffet again.

I was invited to breakfast, very extensive, delicious coffee, fruit, various rolls, bread, a nice selection of cold cuts and cheese, scrambled eggs etc and very tasty poppy seed waffles. What I find quite uncomfortable are the relatively low chairs and tables, although at 1.76m I'm not extremely tall.

We had breakfast at Wertvaluer in January and it was great, today it was a total flop. Unfortunately, the complete price-performance ratio doesn't match at all. If you order pumpkin compote you don't want to be served eggplant compote without being asked. I think a lot of young people who want to earn extra money in the service. The prerequisite is perhaps a smile 🙂 and at least the girls should be properly trained. You don't bring coffee without a spoon, sugar and milk. And when you ask if you can still get these things, you don't have to be annoyed straight away. Second point is the food itself. The portions are far too small and are disproportionate to the price. We ordered 3 portions of scrambled eggs and received everything in a small bowl. We then split up, but that's not the point of the bowls on offer. The atmosphere in Detmold is beautiful, but we will no longer come for breakfast because we were horrified by the many little things that didn't suit us.

Always a pleasure!! Regional, organic, no mass production... definitely not the cheapest breakfast in Detmold, but everything around it is just relaxed and nice!!

Really great restaurant, with fair prices. A very friendly table service, small menu but definitely something for everyone. Just one or two more vegetarian/vegan options would have been great. The backyard is a great place to sit - my warmest recommendation!

Only drank a cappuccino, but was still served nicely. Nice atmosphere, friendly service

Breakfast is super delicious! Fresh croissants & rolls, super nice and fast service, all raw materials very tasty - spreads are also recommended 😍 Gladly again!!

We stayed at Wertvaluer for one night and were very impressed! The room was clean and visually very appealing. The breakfast was the crowning glory! Quality and concept perfect. We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend da. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten gegrillten Lachs mit Salat. Der Biergarten ist sehr gemütlich.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, super leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Ein gezapftes Bier und geschultes Servicepersonal hätten den Abend abgerundet.
