Absolutely. Very nice decor, delicious food, very attentive service

Went there for breakfast today. The buffet is all organic, so it's great, but not as extensive. You can also order from the menu, but you only get one cup of coffee, with an extra cup costing another €6. The hotel and ambiance are very charming and beautiful. Redeeming a voucher from the city of Detmold was a bit tricky, but it worked in the end.

The service at Wertschätzer was friendly and attentive – the waiter explained everything well to us. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet wasn't impressive. The moldy jam was particularly disappointing, which shouldn't happen at all. There was also no fresh vegetables, which should be standard for a breakfast buffet. When we asked the waiter about it, he spoke to a colleague about a possible discount. In the end, however, we still had to pay the full price of €24. This is all the more frustrating because I know of a friend who received her breakfast for free because of the same problem. It's a shame; consistency and customer focus are lacking here.

We invited our guests to the breakfast buffet at the Wertschätzer restaurant for our civil wedding and were thrilled! The food was fantastic, all of our guests were very satisfied, the service was top-notch, and the pre-wedding meetings were excellent. The staff was very friendly, and all of our wishes were more than met. We would love to come back and wholeheartedly recommend this venue for events to anyone!

I had a voucher, so I went there for breakfast. Everything was very sweetly prepared and presented. The buffet was impressive in terms of quality and freshness. However, unfortunately, there wasn't much choice. Everything was small. Even the buffet itself consisted of only two counters. There wasn't much choice when it came to cold cuts or spreads. There was plenty available and catered to every breakfast type, but unfortunately, in my opinion, the value for money wasn't right. The price for the buffet for two people is almost €50! I would come back because everything was prepared with love and the ambiance was lovely, but I wouldn't choose the buffet again.

I was invited to breakfast, which was very extensive: delicious coffee, fruit, various rolls, bread, a nice selection of cold cuts and cheeses, scrambled eggs, etc., and delicious poppy seed waffles. What I find quite unpleasant are the relatively low chairs and tables, even though I'm not particularly tall at 1.76m.

We had breakfast at Wertschätzer in January and it was great, but today it was a total flop. The overall price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right. If you order pumpkin compote, you don't want to be served eggplant compote without being asked. I think highly of young people who want to earn extra money in the service department. A smile is perhaps a prerequisite 🙂 and at least the girls should be properly trained. You don't bring coffee without a spoon, sugar, and milk. And you don't have to get annoyed immediately when asked if you could please have those things. The second point is the food itself. The portions are far too small and disproportionate to the price. We ordered three portions of scrambled eggs and received everything in a small bowl. We ended up splitting them, but that's not the point of the bowls on offer. The ambiance in Detmold is beautiful, but we won't be coming back for breakfast because we were appalled by the many little things that didn't suit us.

Always a delight! Regional, organic, no mass production...certainly not the cheapest breakfast in Detmold, but everything about it is simply relaxed and pleasant!

A truly wonderful restaurant with fair prices. Very friendly table service, a small menu, but definitely something for everyone. Just one or two more vegetarian/vegan options would have been great. The back courtyard is a wonderful place to sit—my warmest recommendation!

Breakfast is super delicious! Fresh croissants & rolls, super nice and fast service, all raw materials very tasty - spreads are also recommended 😍 Gladly again!!

We stayed at Wertvaluer for one night and were very impressed! The room was clean and visually very appealing. The breakfast was the crowning glory! Quality and concept perfect. We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend da. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten gegrillten Lachs mit Salat. Der Biergarten ist sehr gemütlich.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, super leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Ein gezapftes Bier und geschultes Servicepersonal hätten den Abend abgerundet.
