Fine dining, it couldn't be better, it's hard to believe there isn't a Michelin star yet. Dinner with friends, discreet atmosphere, very competent staff, the food was extraordinary in its preparation, presentation and taste. We will come again.

Delicious food and very nice owners ☺️. But the waiting time is a little longer because it is sometimes very full. The prices are great too.

We had already pre-ordered for 8 p.m. at lunchtime, and at 9 p.m. there was still nothing there. Called several times because delivery had supposedly already been made, but no one answered. So I drove there myself (which is not the point of a delivery) Apparently there was “only 1 car and driver available, sorry” but he was on his way to us. So back home. Pizza didn't arrive in time. Actually, it wasn't until we were back in the stairwell. Delay So 1h20min. Order several hours in advance. The pizza also tasted soggy, as if it had been kept warm in a closed box on an oven for an hour, but that's just a guess. (The 3* for food is generous). The delivery wasn't complete either, one of the pizzas was missing rocket and parmesan, which simply turned it into a soggy margherita. When we asked on site where the delivery was, etc. there was no offer of accommodation on the price. To be fair, the only thing you have to say is that the delivery driver was friendly and there was free yoghurt dessert. Honestly a very nice pizzaria. I would say the best in Detmold because it is really delicious here. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good pizza.

One of the best shops in Pivitsheide Everyone was very nice and, above all, the food was perfect, even when on the go!! Thank you for bringing Pivitsheide back to life!! I don't think there's any need to say more!!

Update September 2024: The food is still excellent, the wine is excellent and I'm already looking forward to winter, when there will be really good (winemaker's) mulled wine outside on the terrace again. The Pfälzer Krüstchen (schnitzel) is highly recommended. The perfect place for one (or two, or three) delicious glasses of wine, accompanied by harmonious, very good food and nice service. We come back regularly.

We've been going to "La Grappa" for years and are thrilled every time. Cozy atmosphere, warm hosts and of course delicious food - whether pizza, pasta, meat or fish - all dishes are prepared with love and taste excellent. Always my pleasure!

Gets 6/5 stars from me. The gyros taste fantastic, the lady is always nice and quick, prices are really fair!

We wanted to eat at Safran House with 6 people. Unfortunately, one person got sick shortly beforehand, so we only had 5 people at the table. The young waitress asked us three times in an unfriendly tone that we should call first. I find that absolutely unnecessary for such a marginal change. The waitress' tone of voice was completely inappropriate. The appetizer platter for 4 people was ok. Mainly everything tasted like garlic. It was just yogurt with a bit of bread. Paying €30 for it shows a certain amount of self-confidence... My main course (No. 13) was not good: the sauce was only salty. I didn't taste any turmeric or coconut. Other spices couldn't be tasted either. The chicken was - in my opinion - not chopped up, but rather crumbly remains. The rest was fluffy. If you like saffron in rice, you will like this rice. The food wasn't worth the €21.90. Unfortunately that was my first and last visit.
