It's a real shame that you still can't pay by card. There's a small sticker on the counter, but when it's full and there are a few people ordering at the counter, it's easy to miss. It shouldn't be a problem to make card payments these days, it's also part of a good service these days.

We chose the restaurant while passing through because of the positive reviews. The hospitality was super nice and totally attentive, unfortunately you rarely experience something like that anymore. The food was super tasty. We will definitely stop there again on our next trip.

The Korfu Grill in Pivitsheide has long been my favorite restaurant in the area. The people are all nice, the food is prepared quickly and so far everything has been good, never been disappointed. Delivery also works perfectly.

We took a tour to Detmold and were hungry, so we chose DasElea. It was 1 p.m. and at first we were ignored. When we finally ordered, the drinks arrived after 10 minutes, then nothing happened. I have to say that it wasn't full!!! After exactly 46 minutes the waiter came to tell us that they didn't have any Giros anymore, but we could order something else... sure and when will that come or the announcement that it's probably over too... We paid for our drinks and left. This is what service looks like?!

It was really tasty. Meat fried to perfection. Suflaki is great, liver is really great, you have to get Suzuki right first. I went home super satisfied.

The furnishings are from Anno Tuck, the toilets are probably from the 50s. The food was actually delicious. However, I had a totally over-salted schnitzel and the rice wasn't tasty either. The gyros were very good, tzatziki too. The beer is inexpensive, but not cold enough
