This year we decided to celebrate our Christmas party with our colleagues at Bernadetto in the form of a dinner. We have been guests at this restaurant several times and have always been impressed. This time the boss, the staff and the chef have outdone themselves. The ambience and food is second to none. Not to forget the staff. All in all a very nice evening. Excellent Italian food. We loved it from appetizer to dessert. The chef is really an amazing guy who is very friendly towards his customers. They don't have a fixed menu, Interesting. Pasta is freshly made daily and we had Tagliatelle Scampi with truffle sauce. IT was really tasty and packed with flavors. Don't miss this restaurant in Magdeburg.

So if you really want Italian food, this restaurant is semi-suitable, as it is very “German”. Risotto with cream sauce and just pizza bread instead of foccacia is a bit cheeky, then it should be called something else on the menu. After we had to wait a good three quarters of an hour to even be able to order our food, it also took some time for the food to arrive. It's all edible if you like a lot of cream sauce and cheese and certainly ok. Unfortunately we got a Bolognese that was way too spicy without being labeled as such. After giving it back, only a slightly less spicy Bolognese came back, which was still barely edible for one person in our group. The pizza isn't particularly good either and is somehow a bit hard (and not the good Italian thin pizza dough hard). The atmosphere isn't particularly inviting and having a laminated A3 sheet as a restaurant menu didn't help either. Demanding such relatively high prices for this is anything but appropriate.

The waiter was unfriendly and food complaints were not addressed... Even vegetables tasted like FISH, even though no one at the table had fish!

Large selection, great service and delicious food.

Fast, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the food is not appropriate for the price. The pizza bases appear to be frozen blanks that are simply topped with different ingredients with cheap ingredients. Too bad.
