Trattoria Cuochi Per Caso in Magdeburg

I ate there with a friend yesterday, and we really enjoyed it. The waiter was very attentive, and his colleague was also very polite. The food was fantastic; we highly recommend the bruschetta.

I was there with my friends a few days ago for a get-together. We had planned to meet up in a relaxed atmosphere for a chat. For a main course of pasta with carbonara, it wasn't possible to bring the sauce without ham, as the waitress said it was already "ready." When I asked if I could order the same dish as a children's dish, without ham on the menu, I was told that this wasn't possible. Another friend ordered the pasta with carbonara and left after two samples. The pasta was completely bland. I tasted it and felt the same. I like spicy food! We sent the food back, citing the salty pasta as an appropriate excuse. The chef/owner then appeared with a rather subdued tone, unsympathetic to the pasta issue. Apparently, there was no salt on the entire meal. A rather loud discussion ensued, with no sympathy from the chef. Apparently, no one has complained yet – but he probably doesn't realize that some guests might not comment on the food. Note: Another friend also had a pasta dish. The pasta was salty, too, but it complemented the dish. We do not recommend this restaurant!

Friendly waitresses and plentiful food. Unfortunately, it's more for vegetarians and expensive.

The best Italian restaurant in Magdeburg and the surrounding area. Excellent service, well-matched, high-quality food and wine. We'll be back anytime.

Exactly the place we were looking for: fantastic food and very attentive service. We happily followed the restaurant's recommendations and were completely happy and satisfied. The only downside: you just want to try everything on the menu, and it's difficult to decide.

We celebrated our wedding at the trattoria with 22 people and couldn't be happier with our decision. The team gave us a warm welcome with outstanding starter cocktails: a milk-filtered Gin Basil Smash and a non-alcoholic Sambuco Spritz. The bread served was homemade. We had a three-course meal with antipasti misto (vitello tonnato, bruschetta, grilled vegetables, and carpaccio), homemade vegetarian ravioli in a sage butter sauce with fresh truffles, and a pickled egg. For the main courses, we had a magnificent steak with fresh salad and sea bass with risotto. Not only were the food and drinks delicious, but the service also provided us with a wonderful journey through the evening, which perfectly rounded off our wedding. We are very grateful for the evening that Lisa, Luca, and their team provided for us. It is a happy place to be and, above all, a place with excellent food and drinks! ❤️

The mixed appetizers are a poem, the very special pasta dishes, for example, with fried capers and marinated red onions and fresh tuna, are extremely delicious, and the attentive service is second to none. The drinks are also very good. High-quality and special 👍

I have to honestly say I didn't expect to eat the best pasta of my life in Magdeburg. The pasta is homemade, and you can taste it. It's incredible how you can get so much flavor into such a simple product. And the sauces were fantastic, too! The beef ragú was incredibly delicious, and the carbonara was also unbeatable. Highly recommended!

Perhaps the restaurant used to be truly Italian, but now only the name remains. The pizza was unpalatable, undercooked, the tomato sauce was straight out of the bottle, and the cheese tasted like thinly sliced cheese. The service, though friendly, left something to be desired, as 15 minutes just to get the menu seemed excessive.

Unfortunately, the risotto wasn't hot enough, just like the carbonara. The pasta also lacked the creaminess, which is an essential part of preparing the carbonara. It was simply dry. There was no amuse-bouche at all, which I found very unusual for a restaurant that aims to demonstrate a higher standard. Unfortunately, for me, the quality was only average. A real shame.

The Trattoria Cuochi Per Caso is a true piece of Italy – and right in the heart of our city! Everything is just right here: delicious, authentic Italian cuisine, lovingly presented and prepared with the finest ingredients. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and informal, just as you would expect from a true trattoria. The team is super friendly, attentive, and professional – you can immediately tell that the food is cooked and served with passion. Whether it's pasta, pizza, or a special dish of the day: everything is fresh, homemade, and simply delicious. There's a fine selection of wines to complement it – and, of course, the feeling of being in Italy for an evening. 5 stars for an all-round successful visit – we'll definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend the Cuochi Per Caso!

Authentic Italian, no nonsense.

Great restaurant. Cool staff, good service. You feel well looked after all around. While not everything on the menu is available, you can still find something and eat very well. The price and service are right here.

A very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is top-notch, as is the service. I can't comment on the food since I only had a few drinks, but the drinks are very tasty, although the coffee could have been a bit hotter.

This Italian restaurant has a nice atmosphere and excellent service. I tried a few dishes - the starters were delicious and the tiramisu dessert was very good. However, the pizzas I had (mushroom and margherita) were pretty disappointing. Otherwise everything was great.

Cute restaurant with high quality, very tasty food. There is a changing daily menu with dishes including seasonal vegetables, such as asparagus. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. 🙃

I absolutely loved my visit to this Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, just as you would expect from a true Italian eatery. The service was friendly, attentive and very warm. you immediately feel welcome. The food was a dream: the homemade pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces were aromatic and finely balanced. I can particularly recommend the risotto and pasta ragu – fresh, creamy and wonderfully seasoned. The pizza was also crispy and generously topped, exactly as it should be. At the end there was a tiramisu that melted in your mouth. There's hardly a better way to end an evening with an espresso. I'll definitely come back. a culinary highlight for everyone who loves Italian food!

Wir waren lange nicht hier, kannten die Trattoria als wirklich gut. Leider war es ein Fiasko. Unprofessionelle Bedienung ( wir wollten einen Teil des Essens mitnehmen, das wurde wohl vergessen) nicht vergessen wurde aber, uns Getränke die wir nicht konsumiert hatten auf die Rechnung zu setzen. Wir hatten 2 Prosecco bestellt, es kam 1 Getränk ohne Kohlensäure. Auch das Essen war sein Geld wirklich nicht wert. Die Pizza hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Die Tagliatelle waren essbar, aber diesen Preis nicht wert. Bei der Abrechnung war man dann recht ungehalten, anstatt sich zu entschuldigen. Also wir machen hier einen Haken dran, leider.

Pizza tastes very good there. Unfortunately, the food my partner had was cold, too salty and the pasta wasn't really cooked aldente, rather just before it. The ambience and service was excellent, so we didn't say anything about the food. The menu was satisfactory, I was missing a chicken dish with nice Italian vegetables. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.

The food was good. The rooms aren't that great. It is difficult to have a conversation because it echoes or is loud. That's the biggest drawback for me. The price is appropriate for the quality of the food. Greetings.

Oh well. Overall, a mixed experience. The food is at a good level. The service is average, rather bad. The prices are in the high segment and do not correspond to what you pay for. The facility is more reminiscent of an operating room. You don't want to stay in the uncomfortable atmosphere and uncomfortable seating for any longer. Too bad.

Clear recommendation! The food (pasta from the daily menu) was very tasty, the service was attentive but unobtrusive and the atmosphere was very nice.

We have been guests here on and off for years. Aperol now costs €10 and the desserts are, in our opinion, significantly too expensive at €12 for a fairly small portion. There used to be bread before the main course, but this was no longer the case. But the food still tasted delicious 🙂. An obvious birthday wasn't even referred to with a friendly phrase. Too bad. Hopefully this will get better again.

Prices are really hearty (pasta €15-25, pizza €15-25, bruscetta €12.50, tiramisu €12). Taste OK, but nothing special. Portions are also manageable, so my husbands were still hungry. So be sure to take a look at the map beforehand. We had to wait a long time for our food (45 minutes), but it was quicker at the neighboring tables. Service, well...

We are very happy with our choice. We requested a table reservation via the website and had it confirmed. Good thing, because there weren't any tables left that evening, which didn't surprise us at all. The staff is super attentive and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is right. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Ate bruschetta and spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, both were very moderately seasoned. Bruschetta without garlic (or so little that it couldn't be noticed) and the carbonara, despite the note on the menu that it was "very spicy", was also rather weak. Bacon is also more bacon than ham. Bottom line: I expected a little more for the price.

Unfortunately, since we were more than 10 people, we had to take the starter that came! And you also pay €14 per person for that!!!! Which I really find almost a cheek! But that's the only thing I have to complain about. Otherwise the food was delicious 😋.

Überzeugt mit handwerklichem Können. Mit einer kompakten Speisekarte, die auf schlichten, jedoch präzisen Zubereitungen basiert, wird der Anspruch an Qualität und Tradition in jedem Gericht spür- und schmeckbar erfüllt. Die hausgemachte Pasta und auch die Pizzen überzeugen. Abzüge gibt es jedoch wegen eines fehlenden ausgewiesenen vegetarischen und veganen Speisenangebot, einer fehlenden Auswahl an kreativen alkoholfreien Getränken und zu klein dimensionierten Portionsgrößen.

We have been coming to you for many years. And every time we are thrilled. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious, the wines are great and the service is always friendly and helpful. I sometimes drink a beer or a delicious wine. The lady always drinks wine. For starters we share a salad and bruschetta. For the main course I eat pizza and my wife eats pasta or gnocchi. A great restaurant and “never change a running system…” We'd love to come back :)

Culinary top class, speed of service to be made a little better. What was unpleasant was the lack of signage to the toilet (you have to ask where it is), urinals ALL broken, toilet lid and seat not properly secured. Given the otherwise high standard of the restaurant, a no-go. Nevertheless, we would come back 👍

Excellent 👌🏼 We were warmly welcomed by the waitress and were very positively impressed by the stylish furnishings, which are color coordinated down to the smallest detail. Even the flowers on the tables match the furniture. The homemade tagliatelle with salmon, which was cooked to perfection, were just as tasteful as the ambience. The pink peppercorns in the cream sauce rounded off this delicious dish perfectly. Also worth mentioning is the extremely cleanliness in both the restaurant and the toilet area! If I could give more stars, I would definitely give more stars. Perfect all around! Keep it up! I would definitely like to come back! ☺️

Excellent Italian in Magdeburg. Great ambience and simply well-made dishes. We had the starter cake, the beetroot risotto, pizza and pasta - really very good quality, rarely eaten such a good vitello tonnato... we'd love to come back!

Wir waren heute am 19.01.24 zu viert bei Euch Essen. Vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundlichkeit und die hervorragenden zubereiteten Speisen und Getränke. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die Antipasti Mista für 4 mit Bruscetta,Vitello Tonnato und Rindercarpaccio mit Rucula und Parmesanhobel und Verschiedene Gerbratene eingelegte Gemüse und Burrata. Als Haupspeise wählten wir die Empfehlung des Chefs 1xKürbisrissotto ,2xKalbsbäckchen in Barolososse mit Polenta und Pak choi und Möhren und 1x Macceroni mit Spinat in Gorgonzolasosse. Zum Schluss wählten wir noch Tiramisu und Pana Cotta mit frischen Erdbeeren. Alle Speisen waren ein Traum .Dank an das Küchenteam für das Essen und dank an den Chef für seine tolle Bewirtung. Wir werden jetzt Stammgäste.

Leider können wir die vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Mit "Italiener " hat das Restaurant leider nicht viel gemeinsam, weder vom Personal, noch vom Geruch oder der Küche. Der männliche Kellner hatte gefühlt keine Stimme, wir haben ihn nicht sprechen gehört. Weine extrem überteuert , keine große Auswahl, 0,2 l für 8€ aufwärts. Wir entschieden uns für eine 32€ Flasche, im Netz ab 7€ zu bekommen, Geschmack flach und ohne bleibenden Eindruck und wir LIEBEN guten Rotwein. Die Lachs-Bandnudeln ohne jeglichen Geschmack, keine Gewürze, nicht mal Knoblauch oder Zwiebeln, einfach nichts...Schade! Das Risotto ging so, aber viel zu wenige Meeresfrüchte, jede Menge Reis, der Wildkreutersalat mit Entenbrust war noch am Besten, jedes Essen knapp 20€. Also, da möchte schon etwas mehr kommen. Ok, Vitello Tonnato für 16€ war uneingschränkt empfehlenswert aber leider auch relativ wenig! Leider gibts in Magdeburg doch wesentlich bessere Italiener, eben "richtige" Italiener. Das Ambiente war relativ ungemütlich, hell und extrem laut, man konnte sich kaum unterhalten. Für uns gibts leider kein zweites Mal, schade!

Katastrophe Ambiente: -Speisekarte nicht nummeriert was zu Problemen führte (folgt) -mittig im Raum platziert was zur Beschallung von sämtlichen Nachbarstischen aus allen Richtungen führte -nervige Fahrstuhlmusik Zur Bedienung: -zum reservierten Tisch geschickt, statt geführt -saubere Gläser vom Kellner abgeräumt, von der Kellnerin daraufhin wieder auf den Tisch gestellt -als der Kellner die Bestellung aufnehmen wollte, stellte er sich an den Tisch und schaute nur erwartend ohne etwas zu sagen -Gerichte beim bestellen mehrmals wiederholt (wahrscheinlich Sprachbarriere bei Kellner) -Kellnerin musste noch einmal zum Tisch kommen und wegen der Bestellung nachfragen -dennoch ein Gericht bekommen was nicht bestellt wurde, ohne Entschuldigung -eine der Pizzen wurde vergessen zu schneiden, Kellner reagierte genervt auf die Bitte dies nachzuholen Um noch etwas positives zu sagen: -Essen war zwar nichts Besonderes, aber dennoch gut Lokal war gut besucht, vielleicht ein Einzelfall. Trotzdem keine Empfehlung meinerseits.

Regelmäßig kommen wir in die Trattoria und gehen auch gerne mit unserem Besuch dort hin. Wir kommen eigentlich nie drum herum drei Gänge zu essen, da das Essen qualitativ hochwertig und lecker zubereitet ist. Das Personal ist super, sehr aufmerksam, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Unsere Lieblingsspeisen: die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte, Tagliatelle al Ragu Biano, Spaghettoni al Pesto di Basilico und mein Favorit: Macceroncini Mozzarella die Bufala - die Nudeln sind selbstgemacht und unglaublich lecker. Die wechselnden Tagesgerichte und Desserts sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Macht weiter so :)

Waren zum zweiten Mal dort, wurden sehr Freundlich empfangen und wurden auf die Tageskarte hin gewiesen sowie auf die Normale Karte. Auch bei dem Wein Empfehlung ist man auf unseren Wünschen eingegangen. Kann man sehr gern wieder empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Ich war an einem Dienstag Abend dort und hatte Glück, dass noch ein Platz frei war. Ich hatte die Pizza Parma. Ich muss sagen ich hatte lange keine so gute Pizza mehr. Die Kombination Parmaschinken mit Rucola und Büffel-Mozzarella war extrem lecker. Wem die Straßenbahn direkt nebenan nicht stört, kann ich dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Sehr freundliche und gute Bedienung, die ihre Produkte kennt und wertschätzt. Gute Getränke/Aperitivo. Wir hatten dazu Pizza und Lachdpasta. Zu empfehlen!

Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war angemessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gibt ausschließlich selbstgemachte Pasta, was für mich der Grund war, das Restaurant zu besuchen. Die Qualität der Speisen rechtfertigt das etwas höhere Preisniveau. Es war alles in bester Ordnung.

I love this restaurant and the people here are really nice. They said they don’t get a lot of tourists. Which is a shame because this restaurant is great. They have a wide manu to order from and the service is great. A 10 out of 10 for me😁.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Kellnerin ist einfach super lieb gewesen. Wir gehen garantiert wieder dorthin.

Da wir wieder einmal gut italienisch essen wollten, wählten wir wieder das Trattoria. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Schön ist es, dass auf einer Tafel auch mehrere Tagesempfehlungen angeboten wurden. Wir haben unsere Lieblingspizza mit Parmaschinken, Rucola und Parmesankäse gewählt. Sie ist nur zu empfehlen!! Die Vorspeise, Bruschetta, haben wir uns geteilt, eigentlich war sie nicht notwendig ( Riesen Pizza ) aber unwahrscheinlich lecker. Immer wieder Trattoria !

Moin nach Magdeburg! Wahrlich echte, italienische Küche modern zelebriert und fantastisch serviert. Das gesamte Team ist einfach großartig und wir freuen uns jedes mal aufs Neue, was an Tagesgerichten gezaubert wurde und wenn es mal nicht passt, bietet die Karte alles was das italienische Herz sowieso begehrt. Die Weinbegleitung durch Mrs. Lisa muss unbedingt noch dazu erwähnt werden, weil sie es einfach drauf hat! Ahoi der Hamburger Jung

Sehr lecker und preislich total ok.

Wir sind hier regelmäßig und auch jedes Jahr um unseren Hochzeitstag zu feiern. Der Empfang ist immer angenehm herzlich, die Bedienung aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken und das Ambiente stilvoll und gemütlich. Die Speisen sind von hervorragender Qualität und werden immer saisonal ergänzt, so dass es auch nach mehreren Besuchen nicht langweilig wird. Auch die Getrankeauswahl lässt sowohl im alkoholfreien, als auch im alkoholischen Bereich keine Wünsche über. Weiter so. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Das Essen war gut aber der Service für diese Preisklasse schlecht. Wir wurden weder begrüßt noch verabschiedet. Beide Servicekräfte machten den Eindruck ohne Motivation diesen Job auszuführen. Ein Lächeln haben wir nicht gesehen. Schade...wenn man sich nicht willkommen fühlt, ist das Essen auch irgendwie nebensächlich.

Phantastisch! Die Küche weiß mit ihrer Liebe zum Detail, Authentizität und Finesse immer wieder auf's Neue zu überraschen und der Service ist freundlich, zugewandt und unaufdringlich. Mein absoluter Favorit in Magdeburg!

Leckeres Essen und ein tolles Ambiente

Das neue Team in der Trattoria hat noch etwas Luft nach oben... Das Essen war gut, der Service war etwas überfordert. Wenn ich mit der Kellnerin gemeinsam überlege, ob sich 2 Gäste, die nur ein Schlückchen Alkohol trinken dürfen, ein Glas 0,2l (7€) teilen oder man es auf 2 Portionen 0,1l trennt, erwarte ich einfach, dass man mich darüber informiert, dass diese Aktion 3,0€ mehr kostet. Am Ende hat mich die Menge von 0,2l statt 7€ ohne Vorwarnung vom Personal 10€ gekostet. Kommunikation ist an der Stelle das A und O, sonst fühlt man sich schnell abgezockt. Auch gab es nichts, wie in Restaurants dieser Preislage üblich, zur Begrüßung (Brot oder ähnliches)

Ein sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Alles zusammen, war es ein ein wunderdchöner Abend dort.

Nach Jahren war ich mal wieder mit Freunden hier und musste feststellen, dass sich einiges geändert hat. Zunächst das Positive. Das schöne Sommerwetter ließ es zu, dass wir draußen speisen konnten. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war lecker, sowohl unsere Vorspeisen als auch unsere Hauptgerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Da gab es nichts zu meckern. Preislich waren die Gerichte angemessen, schließlich hat die Qualität gestimmt. Das Panna Cotta als Dessert war in Ordnung, für meinen Geschmack allerdings mit etwas zu viel Sauce überhäuft, welche zu süß war. Nun dazu, was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat und weshalb ich einen Punkt abgezogen habe. Mittlerweile gibt es feste Tischzeiten, wenn man reserviert - 17:00 Uhr bzw. 17:30 Uhr oder 20:00 Uhr bzw. 20:30 Uhr. Begründet wird dies mit der "aktuellen Situation". Ich kam mir vor, wie auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff. Zum Ende hin sind wir vom Personal doch etwas gedrängt wurden, uns zu beeilen, da sie den Tisch für die nachfolgenden Gäste neu eindecken mussten. Schließlich würden diese bald eintreffen. Ein gemütlicher Abend beim Italiener mit guten Freunden und einem Glas Wein war dann schneller vorbei, als wir dachten. Schade.
