We spontaneously got a table for three on a Friday evening. The food was delicious, and the service staff were super friendly 👍 Lovely atmosphere, nicely set tables. The only thing that bothered me was that I found the room temperature a bit too cool. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

One star is too generous for this review. We had reserved a table for several people. We were told upfront that we should expect a wait. But waiting two hours for food is hardly ideal. All the guests who arrived after us received their food quickly, even before us. My food looked delicious, but that was the only positive. The salmon was incredibly salty and dry, and the penne was far from cooked. The food was absolutely awful. I ate it, but only because I was starving after waiting two hours. I will never visit this restaurant again.

We were very hungry with the team after a long day at the trade fair. At least six dishes were awful! The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was unseasoned tomato purée, the pizza was soaked in olive oil, and the pizzas were practically without sauce or cheese. Don't waste your money here!!!

This restaurant can only be described in one word: PERFECT! Whether it's pasta or pizza, the food always arrives hot and simply perfect! Even special requests are always accommodated.

I celebrated my birthday at Piccolo Mondo, invited 13 guests, and was absolutely thrilled. Right from the start, the owner was very flexible and accommodating to my requests. Delicious food (!!!), cozy atmosphere (!!!), friendly staff (!!!), and a surprise on top of that – I'd be happy to go back anytime, and of course, highly recommended. Many thanks to the entire team.

Cute restaurant with very friendly and fast service. The food was very good and plentiful. The sauce for the salmon (112) was incredibly delicious, and since the menu also states that it's spicy, I wasn't surprised. We'd love to come back. Best regards

Candlelit cafeteria atmosphere. Friendly service can't compensate for the imitation Italian cuisine. Espresso €3.10 is outrageously expensive; in Italy this year, I paid between €1.20 and €2.10. A bottle of water was just under €8! I won't be coming back here!

A very cozy, authentic little restaurant with a terrace in the summer. Very friendly and quick service. A good selection of dishes, as you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The pasta was very good, even though the noodles weren't homemade. The online table reservation and confirmation worked perfectly. Very good value for money.

We were at a birthday party at this location. It was difficult to get there at first, it is rather remote. There is the opportunity to sit outside, especially in summer. It looks very comfortable. Inside it seems rather small, but very cozy, tidy and artistic. I love Italian cuisine, but I have never experienced it as delicious as it was at Piccolo mondo. My husband and children are still raving about it today. The service was very warm and child-friendly, they were always there straight away and had no shyness. We also got to know the chef personally; it is also important to him to make sure everything is going well and whether everyone is happy. Definitely a new favorite Italian. We are already looking forward to the next visit/food ☺️

Service was clearly overwhelmed when it was busy, after 30 minutes they only asked for drinks… Food tasted good. The number of portions is clearly too small for the price. For the price I expect fine dining, which unfortunately isn't the case here. Each meat dish is served on a large plate, and has a separate small plate with a few noodles on it...why? Overall we were disappointed and will definitely not be coming back. The previous good recessions are incomprehensible!!! Unpleasant toilet smell in the guest room. Let's not talk about the bad parking lot!

Food very tasty, atmosphere cozy, service below average. We had to wait 25 minutes to place an order. The waiting time was far too long to be able to call it a successful evening. Other guests, obviously regulars of the house, arrived after us and had their main course before we got the starter. So it can work. This way you won't get any new guests. In my opinion, I don't need a sequel.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately there is no price-performance ratio here. I had the pasta with porcini mushrooms and beef fillet tips. The mushrooms were not fried and the fillet tips were very manageable. Almost €20 for that is a rip-off. The absolute impudence came with the bill: an additional €1 for a few pieces of dried pepperoni (I had expressed the wish that I would like my dish to be spicy). A no go given the high prices!

Here the boss himself serves with charm and know-how. Parking spaces right outside the door of the spacious outdoor area. In my opinion the best address in Magdeburg when it comes to Italian cuisine. Price-performance is more than okay here. My conclusion: highly recommended!!!

A small, at first glance rather inconspicuous pearl in Magdeburg with very good food and friendly service.

Delivery service disappointing. We waited over an hour and a half for two pizzas, which arrived almost cold and also quite limp, the bottom of the box completely wet... It's also a shame that the Mediterranean pizza was carelessly topped with three thin slices of aubergine and three pieces of pepper, the zucchini completely missing from the description. I wouldn't recommend.

A small but fine Italian restaurant. To be able to manage everything in such a sweet and friendly manner on Christmas Day despite the immense stress was really great. The food was of very good quality, hot and tasty. Only the amount of side dishes for the beef fillets could have been a little larger. Otherwise everything was great! Keep it up!

We feel ripped off. 1. Our food came 45 minutes early. Reason: that's just how it is. 2. Everyone's food looked like it had been ready and warmed up for a long time. 3. The price is too high for the food. For example, a piece of chicken breast fillet and a handful of pasta costs almost 19 euros. All the dishes tasted like nothing. All in all, not recommended.

Food tasted great, very nice service.

There was only one service person for the entire restaurant, which meant there were long waiting times to order drinks. We had the spaghetti with capers, anchovies and chilli. There was no chilli, but olives, the sauce wasn't as tasty as we know it.

Really great restaurant. According to older reviews, a renovation has taken place here. A really great feel-good place with incredibly delicious pizza. Tagliatelle with beef fillet tips and porcini mushrooms was also great. Very nice and friendly staff.

We already visit the Picolo Mondo regularly, we love it! Here you can switch off from everyday life and are surrounded by very friendly employees who take individual care of each guest! The food is very delicious and there are always culinary creations that you won't find on the menu! Anyone who hasn't been here yet will be thrilled!

We were at the "Piccolo Mondo" for the first time two weeks ago for an anniversary. Cozy restaurant. Hospitality begins when you enter the restaurant. The team is very familiar, is extremely courteous and extremely attentive. The food was great. Very good cuisine, high quality food, very good, attentive, fast and friendly service. There were almost 40 of us with children and older acquaintances and even the oldest couldn't stop raving about it. The celebration took place on the terrace, the weather cooperated, the atmosphere was very cozy and offers enough space for a slightly larger group. Thank you for this great evening. We will be happy to come back and test our way through the menu.

Where can one begin to describe this great and delicious place. The food is always delicious, elegantly decorated and melts quickly in the mouth. The taste buds will be pampered in the truest sense. In addition, the atmosphere is clean and cozy. The tables are actually wiped and the table varnishes are changed after each guest and not just shaken out. Dishes clean with no cracked corners. Staff helpful and friendly. Serve with a smile and motivation. No long waiting times. In summary, delicious food in a clean place with friendly service.

The prices are also completely okay compared to most other restaurants in Magdeburg - especially considering the top quality of the food! Well, the restaurant is just a “garden bungalow”, but the space is now much better divided than before and it is also very attractively and modernly furnished! Conclusion: It was a great evening at Piccolo Mondo; We will definitely come back more often now!

The area is not that attractive but the food is tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. Everyone should find something there. Vegetarian options are also on the menu. Personally, I think around 17 euros for pasta is a bit excessive, but that's up to everyone whether they want to eat out or not.

The service is always friendly and the waiting time logically depends on the occupancy of the tables, but with good company everything is within limits. We have the side dish “cognac noodles” and we have beef or lamb fillet. As a starter, the beef carpaccio, as shown in the pictures. I can only recommend this restaurant!

We visited the Picolo Mondo again after a few years. The first impression: great! After the renovation, very nice atmosphere. Small flaw - it was like "pike soup" at our table and it wasn't exactly warm. To eat. Bruschetta at the front was okay. The main courses were salami pizza, lamb fillet with Gorgonzola sauce and lasagne. The clear winner was the pizza! The lasagne was totally over-seasoned and the beautiful meat was unfortunately fried to death. I also found the price/performance ratio to be rather poor. Three mini lamb fillets (approx. 150g) with noodles for just under 28 euros... really heavy. The service was absolutely fine. Very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately there was a relatively long wait for the food, even though it wasn't exactly full. Conclusion: There are better Italians in Magdeburg. A pity.

Based on our experience, we would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Although it wasn't particularly busy that evening, the staff seemed overwhelmed and we felt the quality of service suffered as a result. There were communication problems with one of the waitresses and we observed the middle table being used as a shelf for dishes and decorations. Our meals were also disappointing. The cannelloni was inedible, and although the vitello tonnato was acceptable, it was nothing special. When we politely pointed this out, our concerns were not taken seriously and we did not feel heard. After the meal we experienced an extremely unpleasant encounter with the staff. We were served a paid espresso, even though we assumed it would be free due to the previous issues. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were rudely insulted and expelled from the restaurant. Not only did we feel inappropriately treated, but we also experienced discrimination from staff, which is completely unacceptable. We then contacted the police and filed a report. Given these experiences, we can only strongly recommend looking for another restaurant. It's important to support places that promote diversity and respect, and unfortunately these standards were not met at this establishment. Addendum: Here again you can see that criticism is simply perceived differently and is not understood.

Ein sehr schickes Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Essen, jedoch könnten die Portionen etwas größer sein. Ansonsten war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Vorweg: wir haben nicht vor Ort gegessen. Das wird allerdings nachgeholt, denn gern lassen wir uns die gewonnene positive Erfahrung im auf dem ersten Blick rustikal, gleichwohl gemütlich wirkenden Restaurant bestätigen. Zunächst musste eine Bestellung reichen. Die Gerichte fanden wir bei der Suche nach einem soliden und gut bewerteten Gastronom über Lieferando. Die Speisen wirkten ansprechend; die Preise allerdings auch, sodass etwas Skepsis dabei war: Kann hier die Option der Lieferung bzw. Abholen die Qualität auf den heimischen Teller bringen und die Anfahrt überdauern? (wir zahlen gern faire Preise für entsprechende Qualität!) Kurzum: hier auf jeden Fall. Wir entschieden uns für eine telefonische Bestellung und das Abholen. Die tel. Erreichbarkeit war top, sehr freundlich und ohne jedwede Beanstandung wurde ein Sonderwunsch berücksichtigt sowie das Versprechen eingehalten, sich rechtzeitig zu informieren, wann wir zu Haus starten sollten. (gut 15 Min Anfahrtsweg) Der Empfang im Restaurant erfolgte sehr freundlich durch das aufmerksame und sympathische Serviceteam. Das Essen kam kurz darauf frisch aus der Küche. Zugegeben war ich weiter skeptisch, ob Medium auch daheim Medium bliebe, die Beilagen noch immer frisch / Pasta al dente. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Die Qualität und Zubereitung waren lecker, noch immer angenehm warm und die Portionsgröße ansprechend (allerdings auch erwartet beim ordentlichen Preis) Antipasti war lecker und reichlich. Einen Abzug für die Aluschale gebe ich nicht. Mir war bei der Bestellung bereits klar, dass hier keine Teller gereicht werden - in Zukunft wären m. E. allerdings nachhaltigere Optionen angemessen. Ich hoffe und wünsche mir, dass sich dieser erste sehr positive Eindruck bestätigt bei einem erneuten Besuch. Ein solches Restaurant in dieser etwas ungewöhnlichen, industriell geprägten Umgebung hat mich positiv überrascht. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Daher gibt es heute überzeugte volle Punkte für Service und Qualität! Danke und gern wieder!

Ich bin mega überrascht gewesen von diesem Restaurant, von aussen lässt sich nicht erahnen, welch tolles und gemütliches Ambiente im inneren einen erwarten. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und diskret, drängt niemand und macht einen sehr sympathischen und netten Eindruck. Das Essen war absolut köstlich, sehr schön dekoriert. Die Portionen sind absolut ausreichend, wäre mehr Platz im Magen, hätte ich sehr gern mehr gegessen weil es einfach sehr lecker war.

Ich war dort mit meinen Eltern zum Jahrestag Und was soll ich sagen... Das Ambiente ist sehr alt und rustikal. Die Stühle sind extrem unbequem und Hard, der Tisch ist unpassend eingerichtet .Der Service ist unprofessionell und naja ungeschickt wenn ich dass so ausdrücken kann. Denn die junge Dame die unseren Tisch bediente, hat Getränke fallen lassen und meinte, ich denke ich bringe ihnen ein neues Getränk. Das war so ausgedrückt wie als währe es eine Gabe anstatt eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Im Restaurant selber was es kalt, obwohl es draußen ebfalls so um die 2 oder 3 Grad war, war drinnen nichtmal die Heizung an. Drinnen waren es so ca. 15 oder 18 Grad. Die Getränke sind das billigste vom billigstem, ich selber trank ein Ginger Ale, welches gefüllt zu 85 % aus Wasser Bestand und mein Vater trank ein Alster welches ganz wenig aus Bier Bestand, mehr aus Sprite. Das Essen (also das wichtigeste) war ansich ganz solide und genüsslich Grob zusammengefasst kann ich sagen ambiente und Service eher nicht so gut , das Essen war recht gut. Alles in allem wer solide aber billig essen will sollte hier her gehen. Nachtrag: Ich finde es absolut frech das sie uns Kunden ,,ausspionieren" in dem sie alles kontrollieren (in Form von Kameras etc). Wenn Kunden ihre Rezension schreiben, dann reagieren sie pazig und Respektlos. Außerdem suchen sie sinnlose Ausreden. Sollten Kunden nicht volle fünf Sterne geben, dann tuen sie das oben genannte.
