The food was great, the atmosphere okay, but the service was abysmal. Our waiter spent ages chatting with other guests and completely ignored us. Two drinks in 3.5 hours is truly an achievement. I won't be coming back here anytime soon; there are much better Italian restaurants.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my pizza was a complete disaster. Expecting a delicious stone-baked salmon pizza, I received one smothered in an excessive amount of pure crème fraîche, so much so that it was practically dripping with grease. A very strange combination, and the complete absence of any greens is highly unusual. In any case, I didn't enjoy it. Furthermore, the prices for long drinks and cocktails are outrageously high.

I recommend the €10 pizza and pasta for lunch! They accept credit cards and are very friendly. I'd go back for lunch again.

I've rarely been as DISAPPOINTED as I was today. After a two-hour journey, my girlfriend and I were looking forward to a warm Italian meal. We weren't really taken seriously at first, as we're relatively young. When we sat down at a table, we were given menus and then drinks. After our ordered garlic bread arrived, which we thoroughly enjoyed, we were asked if the decorative "salad" was too healthy. It consisted of arugula (which I don't like) and cheese (my girlfriend has lactose intolerance). From that point on, we were treated like dirt. We were given a basket of dry bread and a spoon (what's the point of the damn spoon?). Our food was half-heartedly slapped down on us, and after a larger group showed up, including several older people, we were simply forgotten. Conclusion: don't eat there, frozen pizza tastes better.

I eat here regularly; it's delicious and always has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It's smart to make a reservation in advance, as it's often very busy.

We got a table without a reservation. That was probably lucky, because the place was quite busy later, even with larger groups. Our second stroke of luck was the pizza plus Aperol special at a discounted price. Both were delicious and, we thought, no smaller than usual. The waiter was very friendly and attentive.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Magdeburg. The food is incredibly delicious and plentiful. Bread is served with almost every dish, and various oils and spices are available on the table. The service is very friendly, cheerful, and quick. There are great lunch specials and the atmosphere is very cozy. We sat inside, but there's also a large, covered outdoor area. Special requests are no problem.

A good Italian restaurant on Universitätsplatz, with the option of outdoor seating or a winter garden. Everything was perfectly fine, the service was excellent. Thanks for that, it made for a lovely evening and a successful dinner. Delicious casseroles, pizza, or pasta dishes. The only thing is the current parking situation, which is a bit more complicated, but it's worth it.

We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted warmly and quickly shown to the table. Our cellar was very nice and accommodating. The service was very good. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The waiter also told us that it is busier on other days. We ate at 6:30pm on a Sunday. On a Friday, for example, you should book a table.

We were there on Sunday with 7 people. Food was ok to good. The service seemed overwhelmed. When serving the starters and main courses, people were constantly asked what was still missing; it was not possible to make a children's calzone portion for a 4-year-old child. We wanted to pay the bill separately, but were then persuaded by the service to split the money between us afterwards. It's a shame, Lago used to be a really good restaurant, but it's out of the question for future meals, but for us after this visit.

We were there with twelve people. The restaurant itself was very well attended. And I really can't complain. Service was top. Food was great. The menu really offers something for everyone. Good, except for vegans. Unfortunately. But good, since you can view the menu online, you can avoid it. The restaurant is in a great central location. So train and bus are no problem. Like I said, the service was great. Super attentive, super friendly. And funny. What is a bit annoying is accessibility. To get to the toilets you have to go up a kind of spiral staircase. Not good for wheelchair users or people with other walking difficulties. But very clean. Unfortunately you don't have it everywhere. Conclusion. Absolutely recommended. Thank you.

I was at this restaurant recently and it was an absolutely amazing evening! We had both pizza and pasta, and both dishes were simply outstanding. For starters there was Camembert and a broccoli cream soup, both of which tasted absolutely convincing. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food was served relatively quickly without losing any of its quality. Overall it was a lovely evening and I can highly recommend this restaurant!

The brunch is recommended, only when it is fully booked it is not so pleasant when you have to queue around the buffet, even if you only want an appetizer. But the staff is very nice.

We went to the brunch buffet at lunchtime. The specified time from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is completely sufficient. From 1 p.m. things became more relaxed at the buffet. The selection of various salads, cheese and sausage as starters is sufficient. The warm dishes ranged from pizzas, fries, hash browns, potato wedges, braised vegetables, spaghetti with and without fish to pork fillet and chicken breast and schnitzel. Desserts were all very tasty too. There was, among other things, panna cotta, fresh brownies, tiramisu etc. All in all, for €25 excluding drinks, a clear recommendation. The service was also careful and didn't seem stressed.

So as a woman you can have everything you want there as many waiters gather at the table, especially since they pay less than the men. The food took forever, we waited for 1.5 hours. We don't even want to start with the drinks. In the time we were waiting, the ladies' drinks had already been renewed twice. Der bestellte Wein kam nicht pünktlich zum Essen, wir mussten erst darauf aufmerksam machen. Wir hatten gute Laune und bis hier haben wir auch das kumpelhafte Verhalten des Kellners mehr oder weniger akzeptiert. Das Essen selbst war lecker. Auf unseren Wusch zu bezahlen, kam die obligatorische Frage, ob bar oder mit Karte. Wir haben bar bezahlt. eine Rechnung haben wir erst auf Nachfrage nach dem Bezahlen verlangt, denn die Summe kam uns zu hoch vor. Und siehe da: Der Kumpel von Kellner kam mit 10 Euro und einer eben gebongten Rechnung zurück. "Sorry, habe mich im Tisch geirrt." Wer es glaubt... Also Vorsicht, dort wird der Gast beschi... und das FA wahrscheinlich auch.

Were here today for dinner, we weren't asked in between if we wanted something new to drink even though the glasses had been empty for 20 minutes. The lady wanted to clear the plates even though someone was still eating - unfriendly. My rump steak, which I ordered, was supposed to be English and I got it “through”. As an excuse there was no coffee or espresso. To put it briefly, this house is not recommended.

A charming Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the seafood spaghetti and a shrimp and garlic pizza with arugula. We reserved a table by phone. Unfortunately, problems arose. Communication problems, to put it nicely. And then the next problem on site. Today at the Christmas party, the service from our waiter was unfortunately subpar, the service from the boss was good. You weren't even asked if you wanted something to drink, if you wanted to order something you had to try to catch the waiter, between ordering at the counter and no, it wasn't too full that it couldn't be done, the gentleman was probably having a bad day . The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very loud and the chairs were very uncomfortable, the backrest stopped in the middle of the back. It is not possible for people with walking difficulties to go to the toilet on the first floor.

The whole thing was a bit cramped with the buffet but the food was so delicious, even the pizzas must have been so tasty that the person sitting next to me ate three pizzas. The meat was tender, the fries were crispy and didn't swim in oil, there was enough salad for those who don't eat meat and the dessert wasn't so sweet that it would have given me type 23 diabetes. Anlässlich meines Geburtstages haben wir haben wir einen Tisch zu siebt abends im Lago di Garda reserviert. Meine Gäste waren schon da. Keine Begrüßung vom Personal.. Okay … Dann kam endlich jemand mit den Speisekarten . Keine Nachfrage, was man trinken möchte… Wieder warten.., Getränkebestellung wurde aufgenommen, eher widerwillig . Kein freundliches Wort, irgendwie fühlten wir uns, als ob es lästig wäre. Auf die Nachfrage unserer Schwiegertochter, ob es auch vegane Gerichte gäbe , kam nur so , müssen wir mal gucken. Keine Bemühungen oder Empfehlungen , das war im letzten Jahr noch anders . Das Essen war im Endeffekt sehr gut und lecker ( das nicht Vegane ) Trotzdem hatten wir das Gefühl , nicht willkommen zu sein. Ich habe schon lange nicht ein so unmotivierten Service erlebt. Da es noch sehr viele andere Restaurants in Magdeburg gibt, haben wir uns entschieden, dieses nicht mehr zu besuchen! Es war auch extrem warm in der Location, dass wir froh waren, den Abend dort zu beenden. Echt schade ☹️

Seven of us were there for dinner on the occasion of my birthday. No friendly greeting… Menus were handed out without asking if we would like something to drink. Wait … Finally the drink order was taken. No smile, no kind word... When our daughter-in-law asked if there were vegan dishes, the answer was, they'll have to take a look. We were both served quickly and had a starter and main course very quickly. The food is good, but quite simple and tastes just ok. The pizza is freshly baked in a stone oven. The dough and the pizza sauce are quite tasteless. Nevertheless, we were satisfied at the end of the evening.

I wanted to spontaneously go out to eat with my friends on Saturday and got a place reserved for 6 p.m. around 2:30 p.m. This is not possible everywhere in Magdeburg. And even though it was already very crowded at that time, the volume level was bearable so that people could still have a conversation. The service was busy but very attentive. The food came relatively quickly. We had a salad with shrimp, a potato casserole with feta and a pepperoni pizza. Everyone enjoyed it. One point deducted for not making the salad dressing yourself. I always like to come back and bring friends with me.
