Chicken and fries were ok. Both very fatty, hence 1 star deducted. Service was OK. Initially a bit unfriendly because she was alone, hence 1 star deducted. Restaurant is well located and nicely decorated.

The staff is very, very friendly and the food tastes great too. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Want an experience? Go to Rialto. We had a reservation, but there was no communication about the long wait times. Guests got up after waiting over an hour for a pizza. All the other tables had similarly long waits. We inquired beforehand about the number of pieces of meat on the mixed grill for four people. We were verbally assured of something different than what was listed on the menu. The side dishes for four people consisted of five half-roasted rosemary potatoes and some Mediterranean vegetables. This was far too little for what was offered. We complained when asked if everything was alright. After a lengthy discussion, we were verbally assured that all drinks would be free. Then the matter had to be resolved with the manager. The trainee then came and told the manager that the food hadn't tasted good, which was completely untrue. Completely false information. We were then filmed by the boss's girlfriend, which none of us wanted, and he completely lost it, yelling at us to pay, saying there were plenty of pieces of meat on the table, etc., in front of everyone. In the restaurant. The waiter who had assured us the drinks would be free also yelled at us in front of everyone, telling us never to call or make a reservation again. So much went wrong beforehand, everything that could go wrong, did. A real thriller, I tell you. It was actually worth a visit after a long time, but I will never go there again after being treated like that, and neither will any of my friends!

Fancy being yelled at by the boss and filmed without your consent? Or having false accusations leveled against you? Then head to Rialto. After waiting for over an hour, we didn't receive what we had previously discussed verbally. They claimed to have no recollection of this, even though both neighboring tables could attest to it. To top it all off, the trainee claimed to her boss that we had said the food didn't taste good. He then yelled at us across the entire restaurant to pay and leave. It would have been simple to correctly describe what was being served on the menu and to mention the long wait. Nothing more. But to be filmed by the staff without our consent and then deny it is completely unacceptable.

We ate there tonight. And we were extremely disappointed. The food was very salty and there was even hair in it, which is completely unacceptable. Everything took far too long, whether it was the drinks or having to wait two hours for our food. On top of that, the staff were very stressed. We will definitely not be coming back.

The food itself was good, but unfortunately the staff was incredibly unfriendly. I misread the price, and she started saying things like, "My name isn't Belle," or something similar. Then she entered the wrong price for my friend instead of showing her the correct one beforehand! She frequently ignored me while serving others and talking on her phone with headphones on. That has no place in a workplace, especially in the restaurant industry!

The restaurant appears clean. We enjoyed our food. We were served the wrong dish, but the correct one arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the restrooms are in the basement, so it's not wheelchair accessible.

A pleasant, stylish atmosphere. The service was attentive at all times, yet not intrusive. The food arrived quickly and piping hot, was delicious, and plentiful. This wasn't our first visit, and we'd love to come back again.

We ate here twice. The food was excellent. The portions were very generous. We had pizza, pasta, antipasti, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious. The service was super nice, friendly, and quick. Not to mention the incredibly delicious ice cream. We highly recommend Rialto.

The food was unfortunately very mediocre. The pizza was dry and not very generously topped. The cheese tasted artificial. The pasta was rather bland. The service, while attentive, was very slow and disorganized. The ambiance, however, was convincing and made you feel at home. Perhaps they should reorganize the kitchen, and then we'd come back. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

The service was mostly friendly, but the wait times were very long, even though you were practically alone in the restaurant. The so-called rump steak tasted like shoe sole, and was definitely not worth €35. There were only 10 fries on the plate. Unfortunately, a very poor experience with meat.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and I was greeted as I walked in. The server was friendly. It would have been even better if someone had asked me briefly if I needed anything or if everything was OK. I had to wait a bit, and then I got up and said I wanted to pay. The pizza was good and quite large; I took half to go, and the beer was pleasantly cold.

Even though there were plenty of seats available, we had to wait a long time to even get our menus, and we also waited a long time for the ice cream. The ice cream was OK, nothing special, but not bad either.

While the carpaccio and tiramisu were excellent, the pasta was disappointing. The pasta was lukewarm, more than expected, and already had a small amount of cheese on it. Unfortunately, the bread was dry and dense, and the olive oil was missing. The service was a bit overwhelmed, despite the small number of people at the table. Nevertheless, it's a recommendation, and we'll be happy to return.

Wonderful restaurant! Very friendly staff, who also speak excellent English. The portions are huge—you're guaranteed to be full and happy. What's especially great is that all requests for changes to the dishes are easily accommodated. And most importantly: the food is simply unbelievably delicious! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Germany, and one you'll always enjoy returning to.

Went there for the first time today, and we received very friendly service. The tuna pizza and seafood pizza were delicious and a decent size.

I can't comment on the food, as the poor service prevented it. The best part was that we were seated quickly. From then on, things went rapidly downhill: - Menus were only handed out upon request, as they apparently forgot about us. - Drink orders were taken, but they still weren't there after more than half an hour. When we asked at the counter, they said a machine was broken, but they didn't provide any information about this beforehand. The first drink arrived about 40 minutes after ordering - unfortunately, the Coke was almost non-carbonated. - The food still wasn't there after 40 minutes. However, one or two waiters kept coming by with food for other guests - this allowed the food to cool down on its way to its intended destination. Our food wasn't there yet, and we didn't get a chance to try it because the outcome was too uncertain and we were hungry. We cannot recommend this restaurant with its current staff.

I've rarely had such a crazy meal as here! A waiter trying to keep a complete overview 😅 The place was packed, more and more people arrived, everyone was waiting, no one knew which table was free, and it was complete chaos! We took it in good spirits! The food was delicious, the waiter was truly a highlight, and I paid for it myself. It's a must-see. At the end, we got limoncello and ice cream on the house. We left laughing and full. Thanks for the fun evening!!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat. Today, at 3/3:30 p.m., all the tables by the window were supposedly reserved. Okay, what the heck, let's take another one. Waitress wearing a tank top?... Okay, not hygienic, but whatever... the question: Do you want the menu? In a restaurant? Yes! Rolling eyes, and we left! It was a shame; it used to be nice there.

I went there with my child, and we had spaghetti Napoli and aglio e olio. Both were really delicious, but the aglio e olio was extremely oily, and I couldn't finish it. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed, and the view truly blew me away with its beauty. I used to work as a waitress myself and know how stressful the job can be. I wanted to exchange my drink, but no one came to my table. When I finally saw a waitress, I was already angry. Still, I pulled myself together because we're all human, and I didn't know what was going on. So I simply told her I wanted to pay. The waiter then disappeared for more than 10 minutes. My anger grew, but I held back. And then the big surprise: He came, simply typed the amount into the card reader, and walked away! He just disappeared and didn't come back until later. Thank you for this day, but I won't be back again.

I ordered a pizza and an apple strudel with a scoop of ice cream. The pizza was cold and completely dry, but also quite greasy. The apple strudel only hinted that it had once been hot, and well, it was delivered with the scoop of ice cream; the ice cream was melted, and the strudel was soggy. All in all, I got a load of cold, filthy junk for almost €30. When I called to clarify the matter, I was rudely cut off and the delivery person was blamed for everything. Unfortunately, you can't give negative stars. NEVER AGAIN!

My goodness, how you've let things go. Slow, overwhelmed staff, hardly any customers compared to last year, and I can guess why. We spent more time waiting for the bill than slurping ice cream.

We didn't try the food because even the wait for an order and a drink was too long. We paid immediately after the drink and left.

The most delicious tiramisu in Germany

We ordered two pizzas, which were good. They were filling, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was disastrous. It takes a very long time for someone to come and assign a table, let alone take orders. Most employees don't know the table numbers, the kitchen keeps ringing, and no one shows up. I understand the situation in the restaurant industry; I've seen it myself. But observing this uncoordinated work was a real pain. We saw numerous guests simply leave after waiting for a while. Train your temporary staff and employees a little better, and the place will run smoothly 👍🏻

Truly disappointing and not recommended. We waited over an hour for our food. It took 20 minutes before we were even noticed and could order. Then the wrong food was served, which I unfortunately already suspected, as the waiter didn't think it necessary to take our orders. Finally, I waited another half hour for my "real" food, which had previously been brought to our table incorrectly. When it still wasn't served after another 35 minutes, we had had enough. We waited a total of 90 minutes for a simple pasta dish!! We got up and paid. I didn't have to pay for my still-unserved pasta, and I was offered it for free, saying it was currently being prepared. A star for that. But who knows when it would finally arrive, and I was hungry, so we chose another restaurant where everything was great. I fully understand that, according to the waiter, one or two chefs were on vacation/away and the place was generally very busy. But for the life of me, I don't understand why they couldn't tell us right from the start that serving the food will take upwards of an hour, as other restaurants do. This way, guests know what they're getting into and can consider whether they have the capacity. It would also reduce the pressure on the chef. Instead, many guests that evening were fobbed off, sometimes frustrated, with long waits and the wrong dishes.

Unfortunately, you have to give it one star. It should actually be a big minus. The four of us had dinner at Rialto yesterday. We had reserved a table in the afternoon and were surprised that the waitress hadn't written anything down. "I'll remember that," were her words. Well, we went back at 7 p.m. All the tables were occupied. We asked a waitress where we could sit. We had ordered. She was completely overwhelmed and asked her colleague for help. We had reserved the table with her colleague. She looked at us cheekily and said we had ordered inside. No, we hadn't. It's summer and we wanted to sit outside. As agreed. Then two smaller tables were hastily pushed together, almost blocking the entrance. There was no room. We sat under a huge parasol. The base of the parasol was also appropriate. It was difficult to sit there, so we squeezed closer together, which meant one of us was practically sitting in the flower box. Then we ordered our drinks. Four Aperol Spritzes. It came relatively quickly, too. However, it was completely watered down and tasted stale. The glasses were sticky, as if they hadn't been washed properly. Then we ordered our food. One bruschetta as a starter for the four of us, then two tagliatelle al salmone, one grilled salmon with rosemary potatoes, and one pork fillet in pepper sauce. The bruschetta arrived and tasted really good. And then we waited and waited. After about 50 minutes, the waitress came with a plate of tagliatelle al salmon. We were happy that things were finally starting, but that was the only food that arrived. So we kept waiting. The rest of us had also ordered something and really wanted to eat together. After about half an hour, a waiter noticed that there was only one dish on the table, but there were four of us. He asked if we hadn't ordered anything. Yes, we had. The waitress was called, and her explanation was, "After all, you had an appetizer." The plate was snatched from the table again because it wasn't meant for our table. We had to order again, and after about another 45 minutes, we all had our food. It looked pretty good, but unfortunately, it didn't taste good at all. Instead of cream and pepper sauce, there was just oil. Everything was drenched in oil. The rosemary potatoes we ordered were boiled potatoes sprinkled with parsley. It wasn't seasoned at all. Everything tasted bland and mushy. But the bill came pretty quickly. We didn't have to wait long for it. Of course, there was no tip. It's a real shame, actually. The Rialto looked really promising with its beautiful, large terrace. But it was simply awful.

On a sunny Sunday, we were looking forward to some delicious ice cream, but were unfortunately disappointed. After waiting for over 20 minutes, we were neither greeted nor served. Several tables were also not cleared, which reinforced the lackluster impression. Finally, we decided to leave the restaurant and go elsewhere. There, we were immediately greeted warmly and served promptly despite the large crowd. It's a shame that our visit here was so disappointing.

Perfect place for those homesick for Italy. Polite, professional, and friendly staff.

The service is terrible, but the ice cream tastes very good. We entered the shop and were able to choose our own seats since it was quiet. After a short while, the ice cream menus were brought to us. When we wanted to order, she said, "I'm taking a quick smoke break." The waitress then walked away, served three other customers who arrived after us, and then went out for a smoke with her colleague. We sat there for about 10 minutes, and no one took responsibility. Other employees ate their own food and ignored us. I don't see customer service as anything! Since there was no tip for this service, we weren't even given a goodbye; they just walked away! That was the first and last time for me!

I can't explain the good reviews. Aside from the location and the option to eat outside, everything is terrible. Our glasses were dirty, with lipstick and food residue on them. The pasta was overcooked, and the tomato "sauce" was a mixture of ketchup and tomato paste. The pizza could also be described as substandard. It had absolutely nothing to do with Italian cuisine.

First of all, the waiter didn't write down our order. Then the wrong ice cream arrived, and when I asked, I received a rude reply that it was the right one. I pointed to the Spaghetti Nero and said so, but the chocolate spaghetti ice cream arrived, and the chocolate on it was also outdated and had already expired. Not recommended!!!

The service is terrible. We waited forever to finally order. Then we waited forever for the drinks, and they had a hit rate of 1/3: one was right, one was wrong, and one wasn't at all. The food itself was excellent. After the meal, however, the disaster continued: It wasn't possible to ask for the bill for a long time. When we finally did, we had to wait forever again. At some point, someone came with menus and asked if we'd ordered drinks yet. Nooo, we've eaten, we want the bill! At least it came promptly. Well, we managed to laugh along with the next table. This family had similar problems.

The restaurant is truly fantastic; the decorative tables and chairs create a wonderful ambiance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious.

We ordered three different pizzas, and all three were pretty tasteless. We haven't had such bad pizzas in years. We also waited a very long time for our food. On top of that, the owner was having a party in the pizzeria, which made it quite loud. What a disregard for the guests.

I do not recommend this place at all. The food was bad, the service was extremely poor, no one was wanting to attend to the table.

If I could give this restaurant another star, I would. We felt very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly. The service was very attentive, friendly, and efficient! Highly recommended!

We were in a group of about 15 people including 7 children. The food was very tasty and very plentiful. The calzone was really tasty! The service was nice and courteous. I can recommend it with a good feeling.

Preferably 0 stars. There were 6 of us and 3 of the 6 ice cream sundaes were faulty. Apart from that, when you returned the sundae you were accused of having eaten the ice cream yourself and therefore of lying to them. The waiting time was very long so you could see people who didn't get their ice cream after 45 minutes and left the shop. The service was very rude which reflected on the overall mood in the store.

We waited 20 minutes for the menu. Then another 20 minutes until someone took our order. Then waited another 30 minutes for food and drinks. Food was good though. Service definitely needs improvement as it wasn't that busy.

An absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant! Everything is perfectly coordinated: the food, the team and the ambience. The waiters are super friendly, clearly enjoy their job and have perfectly rounded off the great service - you feel completely at home. 100% recommended!

My girlfriend and I wanted to go out for ice cream on a sunny Sunday and the first place we thought of was Rialto. From then on, no more. We were neither received nor greeted as guests. After about 20 minutes of waiting we had no menu, no waiter to check... NOTHING!!! And the store was relatively empty. It's a shame we liked going there but if you don't want my money I'd rather go to Gelato Mio or Alex. At least you get service there. 🫢

We recently had dinner there. The offering is nice, clean and well-kept, the service staff is friendly and quick. However, nothing was going on either. However, we had to make compromises when it came to eating. The seafood was way too spicy and the Bolognese wasn't Bolognese! It was more like a German minced meat with a little tomato in the sauce. The Bolognese here was very watery and had nothing in common with a Bolognese. Unfortunately, we cannot rate the other dishes here.

The pizza and ice cream sundae were delicious.

The service is a disgrace, first you wait up to 15 minutes before you can even order, then the wrong ice cream or cup was brought and of course it was discussed that everything was correct. The ice cream, on the other hand, was really tasty and can really be recommended, but the rest of it was unfortunately not recommended for us. What a shame actually!!!

The food was good, but the waitress forgot a few things and apparently misunderstood them. In the restaurant, Scooter's advertising for McDonald's played 100 times during the meal.

We were there on a Saturday for ice cream, the ice cream was very tasty but the service was very bad it took a while until they arrived, other people were served beforehand who came later and when we paid the waiter threw the change money on the table and just kept 20 cents for himself. And said it's true.

Very delicious ice cream. Right in the city center. Wonderful terrace amidst the hustle and bustle of the big city. The service is excellent. The prices are also reasonable. However, the interior ambiance seems a bit dated; it needs a bit of a facelift.

If you're expecting real Italian food then DO NOT GO THERE! The staff does not know what they are serving, the restaurant was almost empty and yet they confused two of our pizzas and when we told them that they just added the missing ingredients (we got pizza quatro formaggi with tomatoes). Thr carbonara experience (after asking if is original and getting confirmation that it is) was served with cream, onion and parsley. God have mercy on that place, if they would be closer to Italian border they would have burned the place down. The waiter when we poited all this out just looked at us with not surprised face and said "oooh but that's the traditional german way of preparing the dishes", only after our further complaints he proposed to remove one of 5 dishes from the bill. If you are calling the place "Italian Mediterranean Realto restaurant" please have some dignity and serve a real itqlian food and do not explain yourself by saying that it's "German style". If we only knew we would have gone to McDonald's and be more satisfied. NOT RECOMMENDED...

It was supposed to be a nice afternoon with the family and ice cream. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were completely overwhelmed. The few free tables were neither cleared nor cleaned. The ice cream was served sporadically, the first of a total of 5 after about 40 minutes - it was already starting to melt - the last 2 after more than an hour of waiting. The ice cream was not of good quality, there were no napkins, some spoons were dirty and sticky. When paying, we mentioned that the service was not good. The waitress freaked out and yelled at us, completely out of control of her emotions. She would have preferred that we better had not waited and just left before serving. There was no apology, no sense of wrongdoing. How cheeky and very unprofessional. Guess she did not understand that guests who leave without eating are not good for business and do not safe her job. This visit was an absolute disaster. Small advice: if staff is not enough, please close a part of the restaurant, than annoy guests. Sure is, we will never come back.

Great food, very nice service, really nice ambience and very good, central location. The menu is very extensive, the portions are huge and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. There was also nothing to complain about in terms of price at just over €30 per person. We would love to come back again 👍

We were there on February 14th. eat at the Rialto. I had pasta with tomato cream sauce and vegetables. The sauce seemed slightly unusual to me and not creamy like you would expect from cream sauces. About 45 minutes after eating I had very bad gastrointestinal problems, the full program... After the visit we went to the cinema and had to leave the film, from then on I felt very bad the whole night and the next day. I felt wonderful beforehand; we didn't eat or drink anything else anywhere, not even in the cinema. The weekend was over...

The restaurant is really recommended. The service was with the rush on February 14th. a bit overwhelmed, but always remained very friendly. The food and dessert were very tasty 😋

The five of us wanted to go out for ice cream on Sunday. The staff doesn't understand why they don't think it's necessary to take an order even when asked. Add to that...two cards with different prices, complete disaster.

Our order looks great in the pictures. But unfortunately it wasn't like that. We were here again today after a very long time. I had a crepe with cherries and ice cream, but it wasn't light and tasty but completely hard. Then we had a waffle with hot raspberries and cream, the inside of the waffle wasn't even baked through and the ice cream sundae was even better. The piece of pineapple was already over the point and was really brown, so it shouldn't have been used anymore, in my opinion. Unfortunately, you couldn't taste the ice cream in the cup, as there were a lot of ice crystals in it. BUT THE SERVICE WAS VERY NICE AND A GREAT EFFORT WAS MADE

Calzone pizza is usually made with shoulder ham. But at my request they made it with tuna. The tuna calzone pizza was so delicious that the mushrooms in the dough and the arugula on the side added extra flavor to the dish. 😋 By the way, this evening, January 31, 2025, I drove from Berlin to Magdeburg just to eat this calzone pizza. 😃 A big thank you to everyone who worked at the restaurant. 😉

Service overloaded, most guests were annoyed by the long wait + sometimes incorrect delivery. The ordered dishes were always brought to the table with a certain delay, which is stupid if you want to eat/drink together. The ice cream pizza was served on the smallest plate. This is a great way to eat bad food... But it tasted good.

Sometimes it's good and other times it's a disaster. The last experience reminded me of Ghost's message from Sam: we're coming in. There is no reception and service staff walk past us. We sit down and service staff walk past us. About 15 minutes later, after waving and making eye contact, we stand up again. We go to the ice cream counter to the small queue that has formed there, last chance. Same game, 5 minutes later we go to another establishment. Well, let's watch the film again. Whoopy Goldberg was awesome!

Eating ice cream outside is okay.

There were seven of us there today and we were asked for drinks relatively quickly, but the delivery took an unusually long time. After ordering the food, it took about an hour and a starter and my main course were brought, i.e. h. five were able to watch me eat. When I finished eating, the others also got their food. That doesn't work in the restaurant industry. The facility has the character of an old provincial train station. The staff could also look friendlier. The biggest shortcoming, however, is the lack of understanding of hygiene. A fork falls on the floor, the next waitress picks it up and puts it on the counter and the third takes the napkin, knife, spoon and said fork and brings them to a guest. The food was surprisingly tasty, considering the service was so modest. There is a lot of potential for improvement!

There, it was just the door that was disturbing, some people have bags in front of them and can't close them behind them, then a shiver passed over their skin. Otherwise nice staff.

A rude, unfriendly waiter who I asked after 45 minutes what about my order (ice cream sundae) and he replied, I can leave if I don't want to wait.

There was no pizza at Christmas.

There were two of us who ate there, the food was okay and the service was very competent and nice. However, Rialto is old-fashioned and not really modern. The older gentleman who makes the drinks was relatively unfriendly to others and a bit slow, so our drinks took a long time. All in all the service was very good and so was the food

The six of us had lunch here a few days ago. The drinks and food came very quickly. We all really enjoyed the pizzas. Unfortunately, the Diavoli pizza wasn't as spicy as expected. The service wasn't always very attentive, but was very friendly. We would come back.
