Ciao Ciao has the usual German monotony of numerous local Italian restaurants. Greetings from pasta with fillet tips in cream sauce and Hawaiian pizza. Plus sporty prices and poor service. Even though it was almost empty, I was only allowed to sit at one of the two tables directly next to the door. The waitress didn't want to take the few more steps to a more pleasant table without constantly walking past. Well, you immediately feel welcome. The menu card comes to the table as a laminated A4 sheet. The selection is huge. No one needs hundreds of dishes and no kitchen can prepare all of them from fresh ingredients. A small weekly menu with freshly cooked seasonal dishes would be great. My Pizza Siciliana would not be allowed to be served as a guest in Italy. Too much topping, soft, the blackened olives (that's really not possible) I immediately canceled. For a good €14 with a cost of less than €2, I expect a perfectly baked pizza with high-quality ingredients. A small 0.2l juice costs €3.40. That's 1000% above the cost of goods sold. Who does the price calculation here? Despite repeated friendly requests, I was refused an additional glass of tap water. “You shouldn’t do that.” Why not was unclear. I won't be a guest again.

Here I ate the worst spaghetti carbonara in my life. Spaghetti Carbonara with cooked ham drowned in cream sauce. We had to pay extra for herb butter. Snails in herbs with olive oil, a little herbs and a little olive oil. Never again.

Very tasty food. It was also brought relatively quickly, after the starter. Clean restaurant, but not very "Italian" style. Employees seemed underwhelmed, often standing at the counter and chatting instead of asking for drinks. Unfortunately, we only asked for drinks when we finished eating/clearing up. For me one of the best Italian restaurants in Magdeburg. Vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. There is something for everyone here. Customers' wishes are taken into account and the food is always freshly prepared.

It was okay, there was no spaghetti Bolognese dish on the menu at an Italian restaurant, I had ordered spaghetti carbonara (but with penne) the carbonara was a ham and cream sauce and they didn't accept my request for penne instead of spaghetti. The bread served with it was rather hard.

Otherwise always enjoyed being there. Unfortunately, today I waited well over an hour. The salad was completely forgotten and after a second request the starter came with the main course with shriveled cucumber. There was a sign on the door saying “Card payment from €20” but people were asked to pay in cash if the bill was €35.

The food really wasn't good. Apparently the ingredients are saved here: I had a lasagna which is usually filled with minced meat sauce. My lasagne only had a little minced meat sauce on the edge. The rest was pasta with bechamel sauce. Really a disgrace. In addition, the service was also a disaster. Nobody cares if the drink is empty. There is no question. At the end, the plates are simply cleared away without asking whether it was tasty. No, I will never eat here again!

We always enjoy coming here. One of the better Italians in Magdeburg. The menu is very large, so everyone will find something. There are no separate children's dishes, the pasta and pizza from the "normal" menu, but were also served as a children's portion upon request 👍 Have already eaten pizza, pasta, fish, bruschetta and various starters here and everything was always very good! The service is very friendly. At the weekend I would advise reserving a table. It's spontaneous on Saturday evenings and there's rarely a table available.

A well-attended but not crowded place. Well-stocked menu with fair prices. A quick and attentive service. The waiting times were very short. The food was very tasty, especially the tiramisu dessert was very good. Everything was served very nicely. A clear recommendation!

The visit to Ciao Ciao was very worth it! The staff was very friendly and warm. The ambience also invited you to delicious food and drink. Now about the food: I had bruschetta and a salami pizza. Both dishes were freshly prepared and tasted that way. The price-performance ratio is good. The Ciao Ciao is an absolute recommendation. Ein wirklich schönes Konzept. Die offene Küche und der Steinofen stechen positiv hervor und auch das Personal ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Unsere Vorspeise (Pizzabrot und geröstetes Gemüse) war einfach und auch lecker, aber unserer Meinung nach ist der Preis hierfür zu hoch angesetzt. Die Pizza meines Partners war gut belegt und hat ihm geschmeckt; meine war leider etwas fade, wenngleich der Teig bei beiden Pizzen sehr gut war. Auch hier müssen wir allerdings den Preis bemängeln.

The two of us were here on a Sunday evening. The ambience is really nice, the service was also friendly and quick. However, the food didn't convince us. My pizza was undercooked and tasted very much like dough. In addition, the surface was partially burned. My companion's noodles were ok, but not worth the price. I don't know if this was only the case that evening, but now I would refrain from visiting again.

We haven't been to Ciao Ciao in a very long time and won't be visiting again in the future. I had pizza with gorgonzola cheese and my husband had squid in tomato sauce. Both dishes had no taste. The bruschetta we ordered as a starter was forgotten and was then added to the bill! There were at most 15 guests in the restaurant. Very unfortunate!

You can immediately feel the loving design and the operators' passion for Italian cuisine. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Italian dishes. From pizza to pasta to delicious meat and fish dishes, there is something for every taste. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and you can taste it. I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service. The staff was attentive, friendly and very competent. They took care of all my concerns and wishes and made sure that I felt completely comfortable. All in all, I can fully recommend the Italian restaurant “Ciao Ciao”. The food, ambience and service were excellent. If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant, you should definitely visit "Ciao Ciao". You will not be disappointed!

Der schnelle Italiener für Zwischendurch - er lädt nicht gerade zum Verweilen oder Genießen ein. Das Essen ist ganz lecker, allerdings fehlt mir das italienische Etwas.

Die Rezensionen haben mehr versprochen, als der Laden und das Essen halten können. Es ist sicher nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nicht sooo gut. Bei den Preisen muss man mehr erwarten dürfen. Abschreckend fand ich zu Beginn die überladene Speisekarte. Frische Produkte in der Menge und dann noch guter Qualität vorhalten ist fast unmöglich. Das Essen an sich ist zwischen langweilig und solide einzuordnen. Preislich überzogen. Service ist ok. Wir werden eher nicht wieder kommen

Das Personal war trotz der vielen zu bedienenden Gäste sehr freundlich, ruhig und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und schmeckte sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und einladend. Die Karte bietet eine Vielzahl an Speisen zu guten Preisen.

Wir waren am Samstag dort essen und es war okay, aber überhaupt keine Empfehlung. Wir haben 1 1/2h auf unser Essen gewartet. Die Calzone kam dann endlich und ist einen Mann in den Rücken gefallen. Sie ging für eine Minute zurück in die Küche, wurde gerichtet und stand auf unserem Tisch. Man konnte genau sehen, welche Stelle gebrochen ist und das der Käse verschoben war. Wir haben es angesprochen und es wurde nur belächelt. Eine neue haben wir nicht erhalten. Wir werden dort nicht noch einmal essen gehen. Das Essen war auch nur Durchschnitt und nicht dem Preis entsprechend.

Dort muss man wirklich vorbestellen...wir hatten 8 Plätze gebucht...dann das Essen bestellt gehabt...die Lasagne war außen warm und innen kalt...ging dann auch zurück mit der Bitte ob man es nochmal heiß machen könnte...Wurde sehr schnell behoben...

Ich hatte Plastik im Essen, generell hat es Lasch geschmeckt, Service war nett aber inkompetent. Nachspeise war nach 30minütigen warten "ausverkauft"! Kellner hat alle 15min was fallen lassen, sonst in Ordnung, wenn die Preise nicht so hoch wären! Für unter 5€ hätte ich das Plastik mitgegessen.

Wir haben angerufen, 5 Min später waren wir da und sind super bedient worden. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Noch nie so gute Pasta gegessen. Super freundlich, zügig das Essen bekommen, unkompliziert. Leider sind wir nicht aus Magdeburg.

Essen ist, wie man es erwarten kann. Preise dabei in Ordnung. Service nicht immer auf der Höhe und Sanitäranlagen verbesserungswürdig von Standard und Geräuschkulisse.

Das Essen ist super,die Bedienung flott und freundlich. Man fühlt sich sogar mit der Lautstärke wie in Italien. Auf jeden Fall immer einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist freundlich aber für mein Empfinden zu langsam, bzw. zu wenig um den Gast bemüht. Absolut gar nicht in Ordnung ist, dass man beschädigtes Geschirr bekommt, und das ist hier keine Ausnahme! Unbeschädigte Teller erwarte ich als Gast.

Das Ciao Ciao überzeugt schon seit Jahren durch gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen und einer wunderbaren Auswahl. Das Personal ist auch immer sehr freundlich, auch wenn wir diesmal etwas länger auf Getränke und Essen warten mussten. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier her.

Wir möchten es nicht versäumen, uns beim Team des Ciao Ciao für einen schönen Abend zu bedanken. Obwohl wir erst für den nächsten Tag reserviert hatten, wurde uns freundlich spontan ein schöner Tisch zugewiesen. Wir hatten das Restaurant extra rausgesucht, weil es auf der Speisekarte Chateaubriand zu einem moderaten Preis gab. Es wurde uns dann auch professionell von einem sehr freundlichen Kellner am Tisch serviert und zugeschnitten. Das Ciao Ciao war auch trotz später Stunde gut gefüllt. Die andere Gäste wirkten sehr zufrieden und es herrschte eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes Essen, von Vorspeise bis Nachspeise. Das Gemüse war frisch und nicht zerkocht. Das Servicepersonal war auch sehr freundlich.

Ein schönes Italienisches Restaurant mit besonderer Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht englisch und deutsch. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und daher auch preiswert. Sollte man sein Essen nicht schaffen ist es kein Problem es einpacken zu lassen. Ich empfehle das Essen mit einem Sambuca zu beenden.

Oui le cadre est agréable. La nourriture est très bonne. Nous avons craqué pour des pâtes aux fruits de mer et un Rizotto aux champignons. Les deux étaient excellents. Le tiramisu était un peu trop sec à mon goût. Là où le bât a blessé ce fût la durée du service : beaucoup, beaucoup trop long … Par contre, le personnel était souriant et affable.

In den Bewertungen war von einem familiären italienischen Restaurant die Rede... in dem Restaurant hab ich kein italienisches Personal gesehen sondern nur orientalisches Personal. Es gibt einen schönen Pizza-Holzofen aber die Pizza die vorgibt italienisch zu sein schmeckt türkisch. Pizza Pecorino hat türkischen Schafskäse statt italienischem Pecorino.... nicht was man erwartet

Dort gibt es sehr gutes Essen, an dem nichts auszusetzen war und von dem man sehr satt wurde und einen ausgezeichneten Service! Gerne wieder!

Ho preso una pizza ai funghi ed una birra. La pizza era mangiabile, niente di eccezionale, ma con ben poco di italiano. La cosa che mi ha però lasciato perplesso è stata il fatto che non mi sia stato permesso di pagare con carta di credito, nonostante ci fosse un pos a lato della cassa, e non mi sia stata data alcuna ricevuta. Locale in buona posizione centrale, ma non credo valga la pena tornarci.
