On August 24th, 2024 we wanted to celebrate our daughter's youth consecration in Petriförder with the family with 16 people. After some fine-tuning via email about 3 months ago, the reservation was then confirmed again digitally. Unfortunately, we were canceled by phone on the day of the reservation, about 3 hours before the celebration. The reason given to us was a technical accident, which was not discussed in more detail (…) This meant that our company was now “on the street” in the truest sense of the word and had great difficulty finding a suitable alternative with the appropriate capacity at short notice. It is also interesting that the Petriförder allows itself to charge a “no-show fee” of EUR 30 per person if guests who are suddenly unable to attend are not deregistered at least 4 days in advance. If the Google rating system had allowed it, I wouldn't have even given this unprofessional process one star. In any case, we will not be planning any more celebrations in the Petriförder. We wish the team all the best and the management much success with their homework.

Were invited there today, but the hostess' reservation was canceled 24 hours beforehand. However, it turned out that it had been closed for at least two weeks, supposedly for company holidays. On the other hand, the guest should pay €30 per person who does not show up if the cancellation is not made at least 4 days in advance. Absolutely impossible and disrespectful to the guests. In any case, we won't go there again. Unfortunately I have to give at least one star, it goes to the beautiful location, not an achievement by the owners!

Hello team from Restaurant Petriförder, We had reserved a table for 8 people on August 11th, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. The plan was to have a lunch for my mother's 71st birthday with her closest circle. My mother made the reservation personally at your restaurant and received a card with the date and time. When we met in front of your restaurant shortly before 12, we noticed that there was a note outside saying that the restaurant was closed due to company holidays. Unfortunately, no period was specified from when to when the company holidays would last. Nobody informed us (neither by email nor by telephone) and the notice about the company holidays was not or is not to be found on the Internet - my mother was correspondingly upset when we stood in front of the closed door. In order to avoid dissatisfaction in the future, you should plan and communicate your company holidays earlier. We were in this restaurant on July 18, 2024 as invited guests. Because we liked the ambience, I decided to have my birthday guests served there and reserved 10 seats from the friendly service for yesterday, Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 12 p.m. The appointment was confirmed to us by handing over a business card with an appointment note. My phone number has been stored... When we arrived at the Petriförder on time for the appointment and with a lot of anticipation, we found ourselves in front of closed doors. There is a note at both entrances saying that you are on a well-deserved summer vacation. Without any indication of the date from when to when this vacation extends. Some of my guests came from the Hanover area (Dollbergen). It is difficult to understand why the appointment was confirmed on your part and then not canceled in a timely manner. Standing in front of closed doors again. What is going on here? After knocking, someone came smoking with a cell phone to their ear.... ran past us.... Then someone in dirty clothes came behind and said: "Don't eat, eat vacation". No clue to be seen. The colleague again: "is up... but the boss says it's vacation and all colleagues have to go home". Well, what can I say? People “clean up” your shop! This way you continue to alienate your customers. We also had much nicer and better experiences there.

The staff was very nice, nice, considerate, accommodating....simply perfect. We had ordered a table inside and noticed that the weather was better than we thought and came up with the idea of ​​eating outside and we really enjoyed it I kindly offered to go outside and we got such a beautiful table. The food was perfect. My partner is a chef and he also said... wow... it's perfect and he's never had it in all of Magdeburg and the surrounding area We ate so well. Today we had a meat platter for two. The taste was amazing and the food was great. If we could give it a star we would do it straight away. The good drinks menu is also great. We would recommend everyone to go there and, above all, it doesn't matter what you might read that might not sound so good.....try it out....go there....you'll be amazed at how wonderful everything is.....

We were there today. I can still understand slow service, but they charged us 8.50 for 3 ice creams, 30 euros. Of course they didn't give me a receipt; the staff speaks German poorly.

Location 5/5 on the Elbe Service was friendly but slow The prices are geared towards fine dining. The pasta dishes were good, but the 'homemade' lasagna arrived at the table frozen. The kitchen is not able to deliver a burger medium. Given the prices quoted, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

At the weekend we were on the outside terrace (with reservation). Great service, very tasty food at a fair price. We would be happy to come back the next time we visit Magdeburg

Wow, what disgusting food. We had a half-cooked ready-made pizza and a tasteless pasta. Very nice terrace for a drink, but we have never had such bad Italian food!

Once and never again. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The only positive thing is actually the location directly on the Elbe. But unfortunately we couldn't really enjoy it because the rest just wasn't good. The staff was friendly, but we always had to wait a long time for service. We were asked several times about our order because we had forgotten what we had ordered. Nevertheless, the wrong drink ended up coming. The homemade lemonades are horrible, inedible and unfortunately not worth the money. About the penne with vegetables: The pasta was too hard and in the end unfortunately not as advertised on the menu. The pine nuts were completely missing and there were only a few vegetables on the plate. The whole thing was served in a kind of green pesto, which again wasn't on the menu. Overall just not as expected and not enjoyable. Burgers and fries were okay. However, McDonalds would have won here in a direct comparison. Both in taste and in the overall price-performance ratio. Conclusion: What a waste of time and money. Definitely in a different restaurant next time.

Actually, the shop right on the Elbe should be awesome just because of its location, but the people of Magdeburg seem to know more. In fact, the terrace was full of cobwebs and the chairs weren't cleaned either. The menu is really extensive, but we didn't eat anything. The staff is friendly but a bit brisk, card payment at the table was not possible. Definitely a store with potential that is currently selling itself short.

We had reserved coffee for our birthday. It was a very beautifully decorated table with stars and candles. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was very friendly, cakes and ice cream were delicious. We thank you for the wonderful time with you and would be happy to come back.

Dear team, we were with you today and picked up two coffees to go. When we got a little further away, we sadly discovered that our milk coffee and our latte macchiato were just hot milk. Unfortunately very disappointing at a hefty price of €9. Maybe always check whether the coffee/espresso has actually gone through.

I was a guest at a birthday party. An inviting, lovingly laid coffee table showed the character of the house. Very tasty, appealing menu, lucratively prepared in a very nice location. A friendly staff fulfilled all wishes quickly and left nothing to be desired. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially since the parking lot is right in front of the door. However, there are still Christmas decorations in front of the door. ....Why? A spring decoration has probably already been put in place by now and makes up for this “old look”. In any case, you will feel completely at home here as a guest and you will be happy to come back!!! Keep it up for this great restaurant right on the Elbe!!!

We arrived today in the motorhome. Restaurant just around the corner. Service was top and the food even more so. I had fillet steak with fries and vegetables The steak was great and highly recommended!!!! If you want delicious and good food you should definitely try it

Lage und Ambiente sind top. Essen ist gut aber könnte wieder etwas besser werden. Preis Leistung ist eher am oberen Ende aber noch absolut passend. Dennoch immer eine Empfehlung.

Dieser Ort ist leider nur bedingt empfehlenswert. Obwohl online (mit Bestätigung) ein Tisch für zwei Personen für den 17.12.2023 um 12:00 Uhr bestellt, Diskussionen beim Einlass. Auf den ersten Blick scheint dies selbstverständlich. Denn als Gastgeber sollten Sie jeden Gast freundlich aufnehmen und bedienen. Unterschätze also nicht die positive Wirkung eines Lächelns! Genau wie das Zuhören kostet ein Lächeln keinen Cent und erfordert auch keinen zusätzlichen Zeitaufwand. Als Gast haben wir Erwartungen und haben Ihre Aufmerksamkeit vermisst. Für den ersten Eindruck gibt es keine zweite Chance. Da wir uns nicht mehr wohlfühlen konnten, wäre das sofortige verlassen der Gastätte eine gute Option gewesen. Das bestellte Menü (leider ohne Foto im Anhang) für 2 Personen war leider nicht optimal zubereitet (6 Mini Kartoffeln und das zubereitete Gemüse war mikrig und nicht frisch). Die Vorsuppe wurde leider nicht servierfähig zum Tisch gebracht (siehe Foto im Anhang). Über das Preis Leistung Verhältnis, kann man diskutieren. Trinkgeld wurde von uns nicht gegeben. Die Reaktion darauf- ohne kleine Geste- dehalb leider ohne Wirkung. Wenn wir das nächste Mal außer Haus essen gehen möchten, werden wir uns an Ihr Restaurant & Bar nicht erinnern.

Ambiente und Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Essen war etwas kühl.

Wir äußerten eine Kritik wegen der No-Show Gebühr, die wir für unangemessen halten und die nur wegen einer Tischbestellung erhoben werden sollte, wenn wir nicht erschienen wären. Das haben wir noch nirgends erlebt, auch nicht in anderen Städten. Das Personal ging sofort auf Konfrontation und wurde verbal aggressiv, was darin gipfelte, daß sie uns nicht bedienen würden. Das wurde mehrfach wiederholt. Wir wurden sozusagen rausgeschmissen. Im Lokal war nur ein Tisch belegt. Alle anderen Tische waren frei. Man hätte nicht reservieren müssen.

This is one of the best restaurants in Magdeburg. Foods are amazing with a scenic view of elbe river. It’s better to have a reservation beforehand because the restaurant is also full. I recommend this place.

Wir waren zu einer kleinen Familienfeier zum Mittagessen im Petriförder. Das Ambiente direkt an der Elbe ist wunderschön und man kann dem Treiben auf der Elbe während des Essens zusehen. Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich, auch an die kleinen Gäste wurde mit Malzeug und Ausmalbildern gedacht. Unser Essen war sehr lecker, es gab hausgemachte Bandbudeln mit Lacht und Garnelen. Die hausgemachte Pasta ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gern wieder👍

Total begeistert! Wir waren zum Jahrestag hier und es hat alles gestimmt. Wir hatten online reserviert, es wurde auf Wünsche eingegangen, der Tisch war romantisch gedeckt, die Atmosphäre toll ! Schön warm, tolle Musik und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir wurden schnell bedient und auch unsere Speisen kamen zügig an den Tisch. Das Essen herrlich ! Wir hatten die Fleischplatte für zwei, absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gepflegtes Ambiente, da brennen echte Kerzen in den Leuchtern und am Tisch, nicht dieser chinesische LED-Schund. Dezente Musik und Beleuchtung, aufmerksame Bedienung, schmackhafte und reichliche Speisen; die Preise sind dafür durchaus angemessen.

Wir sind spontan eingekehrt. Wir hatten einen Hund dabei.Bevor wir bedient wurden gab es erstmal Wasser für ihn.Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen super lecker und frisch.Sicherlich nicht ganz günstig aber wir haben bei solcher Qualität gerne gezahlt. Mit der Rechnung gab es sogar noch ein paar Leckerlis für unseren 4beinigen Begleiter. Sollten wir mal wieder in Magdeburg sein ,kommen wir gern wieder. Übrigens das in Restaurant noch mit weißen Handschuhen eingedeckt wird sieht man nicht oft.einfach super

Das Essen war super. Sehr lecker, gut abgeschmeckt und schön angerichtet. Schönes Ambiente, Blick auf die Elbe. Leider war der Service zum Teil unorganisiert. Die Bestellung vom Hauptgang bei der netten Kellnerin verlief problemlos und gut. Aber bei der Dessertbestellung bei einem Kollegen lief es leider drunter und drüber. Unsere Bestellung wurde vergessen, nach über einer halben Stunde Wartezeit kam die Kellnerin und hat unsere Bestellung noch ein Mal aufgenommen und sich für Ihren Kollegen entschuldigt. Daraufhin warteten wir nochmals eine halbe Stunde auf unser Dessert. Wir hatten schon überlegt das Dessert nicht mehr zu nehmen aber dann wurde es schon serviert. Viele andere Gäste waren auch unzufrieden mit dem Service, haben falsche Sachen serviert bekommen oder es fehlte etwas. Im Endeffekt kam heraus dass es Personalmangel gab. Es hätte trotzdem besser organisiert sein können, zB. weniger Gäste annehmen oder vorher drauf hinzuweisen. Wir hoffen sehr dass sich das bessert, denn das Restaurant und die Speisen sind wirklich gut

Hier kann man immer wieder einkehren. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und sehr nett. Das Essen schmeckt, für extra Wünsche hat man ein Ohr.

Hallöchen ihr lieben , ihr wärt spitze , immer wieder gerne. Kurzes Statement, meine Freundin und ich waren mit 2 Hunden unterwegs spazieren am petriförder entlang der Elbe . Dann dachten wir dort Scheint es gemütlich und fragten kurzer Hand ob die Hunde mit rein dürfen. Mit einem freundlichen selbstverständlich gingen wir rein, jeder Hund bekam einen Napf mit Frischwasser , zudem wurde mein kleiner Hund der durch nässt war auch noch liebevoll abgetrocknet abgerundet wurde es noch mit einer kleinen leckerchen Tüte für die Vierbeiner 🥰. Also Fazit der gesamte Service an Mensch und Hund unfassbar toll, wir kommen gerne wieder ein nächste Mal. Viele liebe Grüße und bleibt wie ihr seid . 🥳🥰

Direkt an der Elbe, sehr idyllisch gelegen. Der Service war schon besser. Neues Personal, leider nicht umsichtig und mit großen Verständigungsproblemen. Den Kinderstuhl hat Oma selber hinausgetragen. Erst die deutsche Bedienung wusste, was wir wollten und bedienten uns freundlich und zügig. Bei der Nachbestellung wurde der 2. Espresso Affogato immer wieder vergessen und letztendlich nicht so gebracht, wie gewünscht.....und es waren lediglich 3 Tische zu bedienen. Was wird das denn, wenn der Laden mal wirklich voll ist? Also bitte das neue Personal nochmal richtig einnorden sonst kommt keiner wieder.

Sehr freundliche Servicekraft. Restaurant mit wunderbarer Aussicht und Ambiente. Bedienung bietete mir als Alternative zum Apfelstrudel (mit Rosinen) einen leckeren Crêpes an mit Vanilleeis und heißen Kirschen ☕. Super lecker!!!
