I am an American, traveling in Bad Nauheim on business. I checked TripAdvisor for the best /best value restaurant in town and it directed me to a restaurant that was full and could not seat me. Before I left, I asked the bartender what other restaurant in town would he personally recommend. He said La Toscana. My gosh, this was the best meal I have had in a long, long time. There is a Mediterranean seafood selection on the menu and it was simply incredible. It included salmon (broiled),sole filet (lightly breaded), two gargantuan prawns, calamari, squid, and then a mussel and a scallop served on the half-shell. The sauce was olive oil and garlic based. There was a separate plate with fresh roasted veggies and potatoes. So delicious. There is a list of house wines, listed by variety. I ordered a glass of the montepulciano. It was perfect, and a huge pour. The dessert menu looked tasty, but I was too full. I would rate this place a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5 if I could. Oh yeah, and the service was impeccable. Don’t mess around. Try this one.

This was and is the best Italian, the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Insanely warm, good service. Beautiful atmosphere. The food was extremely good and really fair prices. You forget all about everyday life when I was there with friends. We'll be back, excellent 😊😋

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und die Kellener waren sehr freundlich. Leider war das Essen so lala. Ich hatte ein Nudelgericht mit einem herb angebratenen Geschmack. Dies haben wir dem Chef mitgeteilt auf Nachfrage und er hat uns erklärt, dass die Soße dannnzu lange in de empfange gewesen sei und deswegen sich Schwarze Plättchen bilden. Keine Entschuldigung und keine Geste….nichts. Das nennen wir sehr schwach und nicht professionell.

The food was good but the price was shocking. For a small pizza over €9 and a calzone over €16 🤔 That was probably the last one I picked up.

Eat: Mostly very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the dishes with the red wine sauce (e.g. lamb) and the lime sauce with the fish. The fried potatoes were quite firm and dry after frying and deep-frying. The ice sorbet balls are served very simply but taste delicious. Service: Polite, good advice and not a long waiting time. Wonderful. Around 8 p.m., when the restaurant fills up, you have to be patient or have nice people to talk to. Ambiance: Nicely decorated for Christmas. The table is beautifully set. Noise levels can increase around 8pm, making it difficult to have a comfortable conversation. Unfortunately there was still music playing in the background. Only the bass was still noticeable. A recent visit was very sobering. The food wasn't served really warm. The flesh of the Madallion was as firm as I have ever experienced. The meatballs weren't cooked inside. Noodles and dumplings were offered for a goulash dish. I found the goulash portions to be too small. A scoop of ice cream is served carelessly for 8.50 euros. For one thing, there was a lack of basic kitchen skills. We had to wait an unusually long time for the dishes to be served. The rather high price does not match the overall quality. All four people in our group were not happy with their dish. At least the quality was good on three previous visits. Then you are willing to pay the prices quoted. However, the last visit was very sobering. This was probably our last visit because the quality varies so much.

We enjoyed a pleasant dining experience on a balmy Frankfurt evening on the terrace of Gallo Nero. The terrace was packed to capacity which added to the atmosphere. Service was a little slow but forgiving given the busy demands of the large number of diners on it’s wait staff. Menu choices include many Italian classics and its wine list is extensive ranging from reasonably priced wines to expensive vintages. We were extremely pleased with our food & wine choices. Prices are average for this calibre of restaurants. Worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Wir haben "nur" Pizza gegessen. Aber die ist wahr super auf den Punkt. Nichts angebrannt. Die Zutaten frisch und nicht matschig. Auf jeden Fall eine klae Empfehlung. Der Service ist sehr schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Preise angenehm.

Friendly staff and good food. You can choose different dishes from a clear menu. I thought it was nice that there were also dishes for children. One point is deducted because our dish was forgotten. There was a small dessert on the house.
