We had a wonderful evening! The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Even though we arrived late at night without an appointment, we were still able to get a table – fantastic! The food was amazing. My girlfriend had the truffle gnocchi and I had the truffle parmesan soup. Both were incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious! The value for money is excellent, and the location is simply wonderful. A thoroughly enjoyable visit. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first time in Wiesbaden, and after a lovely walk, we found this restaurant. The lunch menu caught our eye. We both started with Gorgonzola and lentil stew with pumpkin and fish. For our main courses, my husband had a pizza, and I had ribbon pasta with porcini mushrooms. The food was plentiful and delicious. The ambiance was lovely, but the service was very stressed, with no smiles and somewhat unfriendly. I can definitely recommend the food.

Anyone who loves and lives Italy will feel right at home here! Starting with the pizza: the dough really does rise for 72 hours and tastes absolutely nothing like yeast. All the other dishes are also very similar. Good quality at a fair price. The espresso… just like in Italy. Even your furry friend is welcome here. All in all, a fantastic restaurant. ♥️

We went there for lunch on October 30, 2025. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as it had been a few years ago. The service was poor, and the typical Italian flair was missing. Despite significantly higher prices, the food quality was poor.

I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant overshadowed my birthday. After several pleasant experiences in the past, we had expected considerably more. The wine selection was accompanied by friendly service, but when I asked for a small tasting sip, I was immediately served a whole glass. Unfortunately, the red wine was noticeably over-aged—old, faded, and lacking the freshness and depth one would expect from a well-aged wine. My in-laws' risotto was more reminiscent of rice pudding than a finely seasoned risotto, and my Maibock was surprisingly plain and unconvincing in flavor. I would have expected considerably more care and refinement from a restaurant at this price point. When I tried to share my impressions with the server, she had already left for other guests without waiting for my feedback. This was our second recent visit, and unfortunately, it couldn't live up to our previous positive experiences. Overall, the evening left a disappointing impression and unfortunately dampened the mood on my birthday. We ended up enjoying dessert at another restaurant. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, I would recommend choosing a restaurant with more consistent quality and more attentive service.

The restaurant was a bit cramped, but we enjoyed the food immensely. It seemed as though everything was still cooked in-house and the ingredients were of high quality. The wines were also delicious.

We ordered pizza and wine, and both were excellent. The staff was very friendly. However, the wine is sold without comment in 0.2 liter sizes, while the menu only offers 0.1 liter and bottles. According to the waiter, this is the standard size, at twice the price. This was misleading and felt like a rip-off – they should have communicated which glass size to use for pouring when ordering if it's different from the one on the menu.

A friend and I went to eat there. The starter was excellent. Our table was cleared away immediately, and not a second later, our main course arrived. When we asked the waiter if we could take a break, we received an immediate, rude reply. While we were eating our main course, a man with tattooed arms came over and asked if we were finished. When we told him we were still eating, he left with a roll of his eyes and wished us no appetite. The service is terrible; they need to work on that. I've seen better restaurants.

Everything is very good except for the prices, which are a bit of a letdown.

La dolce vita feeling, right in the heart of Wiesbaden! We shared Pasta Frutti di Mare and Truffle Gocchi, and both were delicious. The prices are also completely reasonable. The Savignon Blanc was also delicious. And you're sitting comfortably in an alleyway, giving you that Italian feeling. We sat outside at the end of September, and the patio heaters made it pleasantly warm. Since the restaurant serves a lot of guests on both sides of the street, and we only received the bill after about 30 minutes of asking for it several times, we're deducting one star for the service. The service was otherwise very friendly throughout the evening. We would come again.

Nap, nap, nap... I was there on September 26, 2025, with a group of 20 people! We ordered a main course and were then asked if we wanted a small side salad. The next question was whether we wanted it with mozzarella or Parmesan. For a very small salad with five small pieces of Parmesan, they actually charged €17! They offered three pasta dishes for €19.90 each. However, you could also order a trio. This choice was reflected in the bill with an additional three euros. So, for a small side salad with some Parmesan, the small pasta dish, and a beer, I paid a whopping €46.80! I'm 60 years old and have been to every continent on earth. But I've rarely felt as ripped off as I did tonight. When I asked the waiter about it, he just said he wished me a nice evening! The entire restaurant was completely full, and it was incredibly loud! And when it came time to pay, it became very awkward and took forever. Never again! Napp, napp, napp

The one star is just so I can post a review. A "good restaurant" where I politely asked if they had non-alcoholic cocktails. They were able to offer me a non-alcoholic Hugo/Lillet wild berry. At the end of the bill, the price for the non-alcoholic Lillet was €9.50, the same as the regular alcoholic Lillet. Simply outrageous. And when I asked if the non-alcoholic cocktail cost the same as the alcoholic one, the waitress simply replied with a blunt "Yes," and she even dared to mention that we should pay cash!!! Simply outrageous! Never again. Next time, I'd rather spend my money somewhere where the service is worth it!

We love this Italian restaurant!! It is a great place to take guests if they are craving Italian. They have outdoor street seating that creates a fun atmosphere!

"A Feast for the Senses" As soon as you enter, you realize: La Cantinetta is a place where you feel at home. We received a warm welcome and were immediately seated at a great table in a cozy, atmospheric setting. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive – a special thank you goes to Suli, who created a wonderful atmosphere with his charisma and that certain something. From the appetizer to the dolce, the meal was a true feast for the senses. Taste, appearance, and atmosphere perfectly intertwined. Each course was perfectly prepared down to the last detail and lovingly presented. The value for money is absolutely perfect, and you can feel that quality and warmth go hand in hand here. In conclusion: You not only enjoy coming here – you'll want to reserve again immediately.

Pasta was great, pizza was okay. Very crowded but the atmosphere was good. Service was perfectly fine. However, it was a bit expensive... In conclusion, this is the best place for good pasta, as it has a good atmosphere and you're happy to pay a little more for it. Because it's very crowded, the service is sometimes subpar, and if you want a good pizza, you'd better go somewhere else where you pay less. All in all, 4/5

The restaurant wants to appear more than it is. They serve stale Coke, which is also overpriced. The pizza looks good, but it's soggy and bland. The service staff only seems to care about regulars. I found them rude and arrogant.

We had explicitly reserved outside for 13 people – this was also confirmed over the phone. When we arrived, however, we had to sit inside because apparently, reservations for that many people weren't possible outside. When we asked why we hadn't been told this over the phone, the man tried to come up with an excuse. He showed no appreciation that this wasn't optimal practice. The food is okay to good, but the service and ambiance feel like a mass-production operation. Not again in the future!

We spoke English and they served us in English, the food was delicious and the waiter's service was super friendly, he made us feel at home.

Never again! The prices on the restaurant wall are a lie. When you sit down, they give you a menu where the prices are €3 or €4 higher. Not to mention that we paid €13 for two glasses of Coke!!!! I've traveled everywhere and have never paid almost €7 for a glass of Coke, even though the menu says €3.90 and they didn't ask me if I wanted a small or a large one, they just brought me a large one. And besides, there were 5 or 6 free tables, but we weren't allowed to sit there. They offered us to sit almost on people's laps at another table, and while we were eating, those other tables remained empty. It's illogical.

We ordered the pasta of the day mix, a four-cheese pizza, and spaghetti carbonara. The spaghetti had burnt bacon. The rest of the food was okay. The wait for the bill was long. I recommend visiting this place.

Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't what it used to be. I've been disappointed twice in a row. Here you pay €6.50 for a stale, uncooled Coke. Every time you ask for something or something is done wrong, you have to wait forever. I wanted ice cubes, which arrived after an hour. Instead of still water, we were given sparkling water. They said no problem, we'd bring still water straight away, and immediately was like an hour again. These are even small things. Last time I ordered truffle gnocchi and got truffle pasta. When I said something, they said they didn't have any gnocchi and just made me pasta. I found that pretty outrageous, because I don't like the pasta there and would have preferred something else. Nevertheless, I didn't want to be rude, so I ate it. Later, I saw on the bill that I'd been charged an additional €10 for the pasta I never wanted and didn't like.

We were there yesterday and unfortunately discovered that it promises more than it delivers. First of all, our table wasn't set when we arrived. The moment we received the menu (mine was very dirty inside and out, and the pasta page was in English, the rest in German), we were asked what we wanted to drink. After that, nobody came for a long time. After we chose our meal, the starter arrived quite quickly. Bruschetta – unfortunately, so rock-hard that it was inedible. On top of that, the plate was splintered at the edges – an absolute no-go for a restaurant of this caliber! The main course (about which the waiter couldn't provide any information) took 40 minutes to arrive, but the quantity was decent. When it arrived, however, we immediately noticed that other guests' dishes were beautifully presented, for example, the pizza bread in slices in baskets – ours was a whole ball on a plate. We also had to ask for spoons. Unfortunately, it was carelessly "arranged" on the plate, exactly as if you were making your own pasta at home. The taste is unfortunately very bland (you have to ask for salt/pepper/Parmesan instead of it being offered), and my companion's dish was way too SPICY (and we both like spicy food) - even though it was listed as SPICY. So either we were just having a bad day, or you should urgently replace the chef from last night and two of your servers, or adjust the prices to those of typical Italian restaurants. It's unfortunately not worth the money. All in all, it's a shame. We were really looking forward to the visit. We'll see if we can give it another try sometime soon.

Really fun atmosphere in the middle of the city. We got two pastas and a pizza, as well as a bottle of red. All delicious, flavorful, and came out quickly. Will be returning!

Very nice ambiance, if you don't sit in the entrance to the underground parking garage. The service at our table was excellent. The ambiance was let down by a waiter who ran around like a psychopath and even ended up carrying a wine glass in his mouth. He was close to going on a rampage. The food wasn't that good for the price. Half the meat in the spaghetti with fillet tips was marbled. That was very annoying, because it tasted very good.

Great food, served at the speed of continental drift. La Cantinetta. The name is misleading, because every “Cantinetta” should at least remind you of a cheerful Italian canteen. Here, the service moved at the speed of geological erosion. Saturday afternoon, Wiesbaden, my wife, my daughter and I wanted a quick Italian lunch. Quick, ha. That was the first joke of the day. A waiter intercepted us like a sidewalk salesman and parked us at a table outside. The menu was already a warning: faded print, partially unreadable, the culinary equivalent of a 1990s photocopy. The table wobbled like a seesaw. Did we leave? Of course not. We stayed, like idiots with optimism. Drinks first: my daughter orders sparkling water, my wife and I order Coke. Simple, right? Wrong. The water comes back still as a corpse. We reorder. Then reorder again. At some point I thought they might be running a little chemistry lab in the basement, trying to reinvent carbonation from scratch. Eventually, sparkling water appeared, but by then we’d already moved inside to escape the table that thought it was auditioning for Cirque du Soleil. Food: I ordered chanterelle crème soup and linguine al mare. My wife went classic—pizza tonno. My daughter chose lasagna. The soup took so long I honestly imagined they were still in the forest looking for mushrooms, negotiating with elves. When it arrived? Delicious. Fresh bread, too. The tragedy of this place is that the food is actually very good. But good food with apocalyptic waiting times is like giving someone a beautiful bouquet of flowers wrapped in used toilet paper—no one leaves smiling. The main courses followed the same rhythm: wait, wait, wait, maybe they were building a brand-new wood oven brick by brick. The lasagna? Good. The pizza? Good. My pasta? Good. But after the fourteenth geological epoch between courses, the goodwill had already evaporated. Then the bill. We asked. We asked again. We asked again. When it finally arrived, I said I’d pay by card. The waiter asked if I had cash. Cash? I haven’t carried cash since the Clinton administration. Another fifteen lifetimes until the card terminal materialized. By the time we left, I was convinced the next Ice Age had begun. One star, only because the kitchen itself knows what it’s doing. The service, however, could turn a Roman banquet into a hunger strike.

Praised by various sources as THE place for excellent food in Wiesbaden, we naturally made our way there. True to the motto "Trust is good, control is better 😉" Weather? Blue skies, temperatures around 29 degrees...yes, it's supposed to be there in Germany in summer 2025...perfect timing for a test 🥘🍝 Located in a small, narrow alley, La Cantinetta is a bit off the beaten track from the mainstream hustle and bustle of the main streets, yet still very central. The overall ambiance captivates with its attention to detail, coupled with a touch of the South. La Cantinetta certainly falls under the category of fine dining...but let's be clear: it's worth every cent. As you turn into the narrow Goldgasse, it's immediately there...the scent of herbs, spices, and freshly cooked food in the air. Close your eyes, and your olfactory receptors fire off a firework of endorphins💥. While your nostrils have calmed down, the waitress gallantly and politely leads you to your table. Everything just fits here...the ambiance, table decorations, seating, and a southern flair...it's working for us 👍🏻 The food...a dream. Handmade pasta, pizzas, and meat and fish dishes invite the palate to a summer night. Vegetarians will also get their money's worth! In short, what is a perfect evening? As of today, dinner at La Cantinetta! Dear staff...hats off, thank you for these wonderful memories✨

A top-notch lunch with a starter, main course, a drink, and a cappuccino for €17. It tasted delicious and was beautifully presented.

A truly wonderful meal. I was there today with my wife and daughter (7). The meal was a poem from start to finish, as my wife puts it. My wife and I shared the amazing dessert, which had absolutely everything. It was truly a poem. Someone put a lot of thought into it, and everything was just right. We will eat there more often now. The quality of the food was world-class, from the meat, potatoes, and vegetables to the dessert. The raspberries were first-class, the strawberries were first-class, the mango was first-class, the mango ice cream was first-class, the pastries, the sauces, and the caviar were second to none. The delicious coconut cake was also beyond beautiful. Even a special dish was prepared exactly the way our daughter wanted it! In other words, a special menu. The young man was truly friendly, attentive, and always available to help. What I also liked was how he had such a great time joking with our daughter. The price/performance ratio was more than justified!

The food was okay. Nothing special. A rip-off with €6 tap water in a worn bottle. The food was also bad. Bad service. No bread or olives or anything else until we waited for the food. Only the bare essentials. When paying, the bill was simply slapped on the table without asking who was paying. Only when asked was the bill added. Okay for tourists. We're not tourists and will look for somewhere else next time.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Aside from the fact that everyone who passed by was approached like they were at a Turkish holiday resort, the lunch menu was subpar. The fish with chanterelles had no mushrooms to be seen, let alone tasted. The chickpeas and vegetables were overcooked and had excessive cream. The squid salad as a starter, on the other hand, was excellent. The main course was all the more disappointing.

The Italian restaurant La Cantinetta is located in the heart of Wiesbaden's old town. You can sit inside or outside. The menu is straightforward, offering a well-curated selection rather than dozens of dishes. These dishes – from homemade pasta to Canadian bison fillet – are excellently prepared and served promptly. Furthermore, the food is presented very attractively in fine dining style. In addition to the always-available dishes, there is also a seasonal menu. The service is extremely attentive, friendly, and courteous. Although some might find La Cantinetta a bit pricey, the food and drinks are worth every cent and not overpriced. This is not a pizzeria, but a proper restaurant. It was a great culinary experience. We would gladly return.

Two of us ate at the La Cantinetta restaurant today. We were sitting outside when it started to drizzle and asked to be seated under the canopy, as there were four free tables there. However, we were told, "You should wait until it really starts raining." After a brief discussion, we finally got the table. The food arrived before the drinks. When we wanted to pay, we were told that card payments were not currently accepted. Since we hadn't been informed of this in advance, we didn't have enough cash with us. The waiter then simply left us sitting there, saying, "That's your problem." It was clear that other guests were given priority on several occasions. All in all, a no-go for us – we probably won't go there again.

The food has always been great! The service is noticeably worse than in previous years; the waiters don't listen patiently to what you have to say and immediately turn away. There are even waiters who communicate by shouting... which is becoming increasingly difficult to understand...

I had a baked carpaccio there for the first time, which was very tasty in itself. However, the regular carpaccio is worlds better, but the food was still very tasty. My mother also loved it. The bruscheta was generous and plenty for two people, so the €9.90 price was justified.

I have no words. My husband reserved a table 3 weeks in advance. We drove 130 km to have dinner at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated at a table near the garage, where cars were constantly driving in. We ordered wine and champagne. The dish I wanted was not made for me, arguing that they had a lot of orders. But we had booked in advance. Then I had to order what they could cook. I ordered pasta with seafood. Drinks were brought to us 55 minutes after our order, although we reminded them every 10 minutes. While people who came after us received drinks within 10 minutes. Food was brought to us 75 minutes after ordering, My pasta was raw, not Al dente, but raw and stuck together. The evening was ruined.

First of all, the seating here is very pleasant. The service is friendly and helpful. I especially recommend the pizza with the black crust. If you're not a big eater, though, it's definitely enough for two people. The price, however, isn't exactly a bargain.

We hadn't booked a table but got one anyway, but we sat inside because the tables outside were simply too close together, and I didn't want to sit so close to other people. It took a while to get served. But then the drinks and food came very quickly. I thought it was very thoughtful that, despite only ordering one starter, they brought us two plates so we could share. They also asked us repeatedly if we wanted any more drinks. The pizza was a good size and very tasty. My husband's dish was four pasta parcels for almost €20, which was a bit low. We also had to wait a bit to pay. The food was very tasty.

From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was really good, but the highlight was definitely the burrata: creamy, fresh, and simply divine. You can taste the love for Italian cuisine in every bite. It's a place you'll gladly return to—not just for the food, but also for the relaxed atmosphere. I find the ambiance very pleasant, and sitting outside in the summer is indescribable ☀️✨

There were 20 of us registered. We didn't receive our drinks until after an hour. The food—when it finally arrived—was good. We waited in vain for an apology or even some small compensation.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this restaurant. The ambiance is stylish and cozy, and the service is attentive and warm. The menu offers a fantastic selection of creative dishes that not only look fantastic but also taste excellent.

First, the highlight: the best Frutti di Mare I've ever eaten, hence the 2nd star, but in my memory, it's anything but a pleasant evening. We had a reservation for 7 p.m. with a larger group. Eight bottles of water arrived immediately, the first ones costing €60+ on the lid. The menus arrived at 8 p.m., then—oh wonder—the food arrived at 8:30 p.m., but how: My plate was simply dropped 10 cm above the table. Unbelievable. Overall, it was very cramped, the table simply too small. The atmosphere was hectic and impatient, and the billing, especially for the half-empty water bottles that were already cleared away, was questionable. What a shame!

I confirm the negative reviews. Exorbitant prices of drinks, especially wine. It feels like you're in Switzerland. The dishes were good. The service leaves something to be desired: wrong order for the drink AND the dish, and when paying the waiter complains loudly because we don't have cash to pay. It's not mentioned anywhere and he had a TPE on hand, bad faith.

Had a visit today, I just joined in with my wife on a friends table for drinks and caffè. After we ordered the bill and wanted to pay with credit card, they told us it’s only possible from 30 Euros on. Really? We are in 2025 it’s a high end restaurant which should meet up to its standards and there is a threshold for paying with credit card??? Whatsoever, we paid it by cash and the idea of the young gentleman was to give us our change money in very small denominations. Are you serious? I hope a person with a solid understanding of gastronomy is reading this and his standards and the understanding of a great host are higher than the one from his employee. It’s just ridiculous

OMG! Nothing went right with this visit. Drinks were 45 minutes coming. Dinner was 1 hour in coming. Service was sub rate . And the rabbit dish was sooo salty I could not eat it. I will not returning to this eating establishment. I do not recommend it!

We had reserved and got a table practically right next to the underground car park. Cars are constantly coming in and out here and there is also the garbage room next door. Not really nice there. The food tastes great, the portions were far too small for all 6 people, despite the starter.

My husband and I have been going to La Cantinetta every Thursday for years. We had already eaten and ordered the bill because we were the last guests in the restaurant. Just then, a hungry young couple came in the door and asked the kitchen whether it was still open. Despite his 14-hour shift, Louigi (who we have known for a long time) was courteous, friendly and assigned the two of them the most beautiful table in La Cantinetta. My husband and I smiled at each other because we recognized each other. We also started at a similar table at an Italian restaurant 42 years ago. On the way to the square the gentleman's and my husband's eyes met for a brief moment. And they both knew that the way to love is through the stomach. It was now 10 p.m. and service outside had already stopped. In the restaurant itself, as already written, we were the last guests, the candles at the tables were extinguished and only the Cantinetta family sat together with one last wine. Louigi didn't let his tiredness show and mixed two more Aperols for the two of them. When we saw that, we laughed and ordered two drinks from Louigi, which he gave us on the house. From our perspective, it was both of them's first times here and it was nice to see how much they enjoyed and shared the food. Seeing the two of them made us reminisce: how my husband took me out to dinner at a good Italian restaurant for the first time. Despite the late hour, Louigi quickly served the three types of pasta and the truffle gnocchi with a smile. No sign of a strenuous day at work. The Cantinetta family had now left the shop - and despite everything, the friendly couple were still able to choose from the dessert menu. Inspired by the feeling of being able to experience the two of them that evening, but also by the experience of seeing that our La Cantinetta serves its guests with passion at all times, we were happy to head home.

This restaurant is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. The cuisine is excellent, we've never had anything to complain about here. All dishes; Be it delicious pasta, creamy risotto, tender and juicy meat dishes, crisp fresh salads, oven-fresh pizzas and super delicious desserts. We have NEVER been disappointed here! Above all, it is the employees who round off the restaurant experience perfectly. Every time we are warmly welcomed, all the employees are extremely courteous, friendly and warm. Even when the restaurant is busy, all employees, without exception, always have a friendly and honest smile on their faces. We would really like to thank the whole La Cantinetta team, especially Dimi and Tarek. Thanks to you, our visit to your beautiful restaurant always feels like a vacation🤗

Hier stimmt alles. Die Lokalität ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Und nicht zuletzt das leckere Essen, frisch zubereitet.

Impudence instead of service – absolutely not recommended! There was a fly swimming in my wine - the waiter just commented, "It's a wine fly" and offered to just get it out. When I declined, he brought me an empty glass. When I asked why I didn't receive any new wine, he literally said: "I didn't want to give you any." I have never encountered so much arrogance and insolence. Anyone who doesn't order what the waiter wants will obviously not be taken seriously. The food was okay at best, but it didn't matter at all with this service. Never again! This gentleman should rather work in a pub instead of an “upscale” restaurant, this choice of words and his colloquial language are at the highest level.

Never again! The service is a complete disaster. Arrogant, unsympathetic, rude and just plain bad. We have reserved a table for 8 people within the lunch time using the contact form. Within this inquiry we have asked questions regarding this. This was not addressed. When I called 2 days later because the email with my questions had remained unanswered, the manager said that it had been an automatic answer and that another email would come answering my questions - spoiler, that never came. So we interpreted the confirmation email as we wished and made the reservation at 2:30 p.m. At first we stood around stupidly, the first waiters pushed us from A to B very irritably. Our table was not prepared. Tables were pushed together quite aggressively in a narrow aisle at the left end of the interior. The air and acoustics were quite unpleasant there. Then they made us wait until 2:55 p.m. until the cards came. I asked for the lunch menu. The mood immediately became much worse, we were too late for that now, it wasn't possible anymore, I discussed it, referred to our arrival time and my reservation email. One of the waiters, in my opinion the only nice one, quickly cleared things up with the kitchen and we were allowed to choose from the lunch menu. In no time, another waiter was at the table, said aggressively "they're not allowed", the other said "I've sorted it out", the other again said "they have 3 minutes to order, otherwise they'll be out of luck" and aggressively walked away. We were all totally perplexed, I just wanted to leave the restaurant at that point, and part of our group did too, but we decided to stay. After all, we had a birthday child at the table and plans for the connection and didn't want to waste any more time. From then on everything went well. The food came quite quickly, the nice waiter was attentive and regular, but not intrusive, with us every now and then and saved our day there a little. The food was ok, tasted okay, but not a highlight. Everyone was full with the starter and main course. At the end there was a delicious coffee specialty of our choice, we were satisfied considering the circumstances. The bill came and based on previous experiences there was only a tip of 10 euros because the waiter in question was really great. Suddenly the mood changed because he was obviously outraged that the 170 euro bill wasn't increased to 200. He left without a word... Unfortunately, all of that wasn't enough. Shortly after eating, 3 of us had stomach pains, and in the evening we also had diarrhea. 3 more of us then did the same thing that night/next morning. None of us will ever set foot in this store again. Dealing with customers that keep you alive is absolutely not possible! The visit was a few days ago, you talk to friends about it and find out that they have already been there and unfortunately experienced something similar. It's a real shame because the shop and the alley itself are very inviting, but fortunately there are other restaurants of this type where I never had to have such experiences. Maybe you can take your neighborhood as an example!

Unfortunately, the taste of the food was mediocre and the portion was far too small, even though I'm not someone who's very hungry. For just under 20€ I was only served 3/4 noodles, which didn't fill me up 😕. Previously, when ordering, I was offered to choose the mixed plate from the three different types of pasta instead of the dish, without mentioning the price. As I later found out, two women at the table next to me chose it and were not informed of the higher price. The surprise came with the bill... I'm always open to recommendations, but in retrospect I unfortunately had the feeling that they were trying to offer you more expensive dishes without providing fair and transparent information about them. Before we got the card, we were offered an aperitif, which we accepted. The Aperol Spritz ended up costing over €10 and is therefore more in the overpriced segment. Of course, everyone is responsible for asking the price themselves. But when I go to a restaurant, I at least hope to be able to relax and not worry about what rip-off trap I'll fall into next 🤷‍♀️.

We were with friends in the Italian restaurant directly on Goldgasse. The staff is very friendly and greets guests directly on the street. The service is friendly, but some of them seem stressed. The food was served quickly at the table, was really tasty, beautifully presented and authentic. There is also a changing daily menu with special dishes. All in all, it's an upscale Italian restaurant with delicious food and authentic flair.
