Absolute pasta recommendation with constantly changing pasta dishes! You can also try all three pasta variants as Tricolore.

My husband and I have been going to La Cantinetta every Thursday for years. We had already eaten and ordered the bill because we were the last guests in the restaurant. Just then, a hungry young couple came in the door and asked the kitchen whether it was still open. Despite his 14-hour shift, Louigi (who we have known for a long time) was courteous, friendly and assigned the two of them the most beautiful table in La Cantinetta. My husband and I smiled at each other because we recognized each other. We also started at a similar table at an Italian restaurant 42 years ago. On the way to the square the gentleman's and my husband's eyes met for a brief moment. And they both knew that the way to love is through the stomach. It was now 10 p.m. and service outside had already stopped. In the restaurant itself, as already written, we were the last guests, the candles at the tables were extinguished and only the Cantinetta family sat together with one last wine. Louigi didn't let his tiredness show and mixed two more Aperols for the two of them. When we saw that, we laughed and ordered two drinks from Louigi, which he gave us on the house. From our perspective, it was both of them's first times here and it was nice to see how much they enjoyed and shared the food. Seeing the two of them made us reminisce: how my husband took me out to dinner at a good Italian restaurant for the first time. Despite the late hour, Louigi quickly served the three types of pasta and the truffle gnocchi with a smile. No sign of a strenuous day at work. The Cantinetta family had now left the shop - and despite everything, the friendly couple were still able to choose from the dessert menu. Inspired by the feeling of being able to experience the two of them that evening, but also by the experience of seeing that our La Cantinetta serves its guests with passion at all times, we were happy to head home.

This restaurant is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. The cuisine is excellent, we've never had anything to complain about here. All dishes; Be it delicious pasta, creamy risotto, tender and juicy meat dishes, crisp fresh salads, oven-fresh pizzas and super delicious desserts. We have NEVER been disappointed here! Above all, it is the employees who round off the restaurant experience perfectly. Every time we are warmly welcomed, all the employees are extremely courteous, friendly and warm. Even when the restaurant is busy, all employees, without exception, always have a friendly and honest smile on their faces. We would really like to thank the whole La Cantinetta team, especially Dimi and Tarek. Thanks to you, our visit to your beautiful restaurant always feels like a vacation🤗

Impudence instead of service – absolutely not recommended! There was a fly swimming in my wine - the waiter just commented, "It's a wine fly" and offered to just get it out. When I declined, he brought me an empty glass. When I asked why I didn't receive any new wine, he literally said: "I didn't want to give you any." I have never encountered so much arrogance and insolence. Anyone who doesn't order what the waiter wants will obviously not be taken seriously. The food was okay at best, but it didn't matter at all with this service. Never again! This gentleman should rather work in a pub instead of an “upscale” restaurant, this choice of words and his colloquial language are at the highest level.

Unfortunately, the taste of the food was mediocre and the portion was far too small, even though I'm not someone who's very hungry. For just under 20€ I was only served 3/4 noodles, which didn't fill me up 😕. Previously, when ordering, I was offered to choose the mixed plate from the three different types of pasta instead of the dish, without mentioning the price. As I later found out, two women at the table next to me chose it and were not informed of the higher price. The surprise came with the bill... I'm always open to recommendations, but in retrospect I unfortunately had the feeling that they were trying to offer you more expensive dishes without providing fair and transparent information about them. Before we got the card, we were offered an aperitif, which we accepted. The Aperol Spritz ended up costing over €10 and is therefore more in the overpriced segment. Of course, everyone is responsible for asking the price themselves. But when I go to a restaurant, I at least hope to be able to relax and not worry about what rip-off trap I'll fall into next 🤷‍♀️.

Never again! The service is a complete disaster. Arrogant, unsympathetic, rude and just plain bad. We have reserved a table for 8 people within the lunch time using the contact form. Within this inquiry we have asked questions regarding this. This was not addressed. When I called 2 days later because the email with my questions had remained unanswered, the manager said that it had been an automatic answer and that another email would come answering my questions - spoiler, that never came. So we interpreted the confirmation email as we wished and made the reservation at 2:30 p.m. At first we stood around stupidly, the first waiters pushed us from A to B very irritably. Our table was not prepared. Tables were pushed together quite aggressively in a narrow aisle at the left end of the interior. The air and acoustics were quite unpleasant there. Then they made us wait until 2:55 p.m. until the cards came. I asked for the lunch menu. The mood immediately became much worse, we were too late for that now, it wasn't possible anymore, I discussed it, referred to our arrival time and my reservation email. One of the waiters, in my opinion the only nice one, quickly cleared things up with the kitchen and we were allowed to choose from the lunch menu. In no time, another waiter was at the table, said aggressively "they're not allowed", the other said "I've sorted it out", the other again said "they have 3 minutes to order, otherwise they'll be out of luck" and aggressively walked away. We were all totally perplexed, I just wanted to leave the restaurant at that point, and part of our group did too, but we decided to stay. After all, we had a birthday child at the table and plans for the connection and didn't want to waste any more time. From then on everything went well. The food came quite quickly, the nice waiter was attentive and regular, but not intrusive, with us every now and then and saved our day there a little. The food was ok, tasted okay, but not a highlight. Everyone was full with the starter and main course. At the end there was a delicious coffee specialty of our choice, we were satisfied considering the circumstances. The bill came and based on previous experiences there was only a tip of 10 euros because the waiter in question was really great. Suddenly the mood changed because he was obviously outraged that the 170 euro bill wasn't increased to 200. He left without a word... Unfortunately, all of that wasn't enough. Shortly after eating, 3 of us had stomach pains, and in the evening we also had diarrhea. 3 more of us then did the same thing that night/next morning. None of us will ever set foot in this store again. Dealing with customers that keep you alive is absolutely not possible! The visit was a few days ago, you talk to friends about it and find out that they have already been there and unfortunately experienced something similar. It's a real shame because the shop and the alley itself are very inviting, but fortunately there are other restaurants of this type where I never had to have such experiences. Maybe you can take your neighborhood as an example!

We were with friends in the Italian restaurant directly on Goldgasse. The staff is very friendly and greets guests directly on the street. The service is friendly, but some of them seem stressed. The food was served quickly at the table, was really tasty, beautifully presented and authentic. There is also a changing daily menu with special dishes. All in all, it's an upscale Italian restaurant with delicious food and authentic flair.

Right in the heart of Wiesbaden (Goldgasse) is La Cantinetta. There is a weekly changing lunch menu here. The guest has the choice between 5 starters and 5 main courses. The price includes a drink and a café. Sensationally delicious, attentive and friendly service. I can recommend it without reservation, especially because lunch is served until 3 p.m.

Were there with a larger group. We had reservations. Ate pizza and pasta dishes, and dessert at the end. The taste was OK to good, but not outstanding. Actually, you're familiar with being asked whether you want or would like to order anything else, but here you probably don't want to. Unfortunately, payment was very complicated because we were three families and everyone wanted to pay ourselves. The food was assigned incorrectly. It can happen, unfortunately the waiter couldn't or didn't want to fix this himself and we then had to write him the bill ourselves...

Beautiful, modern restaurant in downtown Wiesbaden with a delicious selection and friendly, committed service staff. If the dishes seem too expensive, you can opt for the inexpensive daily special with starter, which is also served on Sundays.

Immediately after entering the restaurant you take care of the guests. The staff is friendly and serious. The rooms are comfortable and upscale and there is a particularly pleasant atmosphere. Both the pizza and the pasta taste excellent in different variations. Highly recommended - our favorite Italian restaurant in Wiesbaden!

To be honest, the main course was 3 filled small dumplings for 20 euros, which would have been too little even as a starter. My partner had 3 different dumplings...so little and the food was cold. We then went to the steakhouse next door to satisfy our hunger. Wanted and failed

Unfriendly service and unpleasant experience Last night I wanted to have a drink with my girlfriend in downtown Wiesbaden. We chose La Cantinetta because the ambience seemed inviting. Unfortunately, our visit turned into an extremely unpleasant experience. After we were offered a table and seated, I informed the waiter that we just wanted a drink. His reaction was immediately negative - he explained to us that we would only be allowed to stay if we also ordered food. He emphasized that the table “costs money” and that he had to ask his boss if we could just sit there for drinks. Shortly afterwards the sobering answer came: the boss said “no”. But instead of telling us this in a polite tone, the waiter started speaking loudly in front of all the guests, obviously trying to drive us away from the table. After this unpleasant moment, we wanted to defuse the situation and decided to eat something. However, when we tried to get the waiter's attention, we were simply ignored by him and the other waiters. Several times he shouted to us from a distance that he wasn't going to serve us instead of just coming to the table. Such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable. We didn't feel welcome in this restaurant and ultimately left disappointed. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself actually has potential - but hospitality should come first.

Delicious. Very good and courteous service. One of the three Italians in the alley. Always very well attended. Always pay attention to the daily menu. Fish was very good. Dessert was another real highlight. And advice on wine was very good. Always my pleasure. Price up.

I was looking forward to a wonderful evening for my birthday... My experience: Delicious food Top quality food Initially good service But then guests arrived who seemed to be more important than us! Unfortunately, we were hardly noticed anymore We weren't asked anymore if we wanted something more to drink or if we wanted dessert The only thing that mattered was the “VIP guests” Too bad, too bad We were disappointed 😞 I think it's a real shame that people who supposedly spend more and behave more arrogantly get better service!

First time coming here and I asked for Gin Mare with Tonic. Mare is the name of the Gin. That barkeeper told me this is a restaurant not a cocktail bar. No need to be rude. Never coming back.

La Cantinetta is usually one of my favorite restaurants in Wiesbaden, but on February 14th this year you really disappointed us. -Despite reservations, we waited several minutes in the cold -Every inch of the restaurant was used, it was super cramped, very loud and anything but romantic -After I asked a waiter if there was no tablecloth, nothing happened -We were only served after 10 minutes, my girlfriend was thirsty and the waiters didn't respond to her unsuccessful attempts to make eye contact. -After the spice sprig was lit on a steak, the entire room stank and then we ventilated until our knuckles were cold I will give you another chance in the future, but not on Valentine's Day.

The two of us were there yesterday afternoon, February 18th. With you. The waiter with a beard was extremely aggressive and very unfriendly, he put the things on the table with a lot of force, we hadn't even finished the starters and was pushing for the main course. It's a shame, we've been there several times and have never been served so badly. The ambience was massively disturbed by the entrance door, which was constantly slammed and constantly letting cold air into the playroom.

The food was ok, like in any Italian restaurant. But the service was bad!! Imagine that the waiter took the liberty of saying to me "and, darling, you don't like it." At that moment I didn't start eating because I was talking to my girlfriend. This is an absolute no-go!!! Incredible. Such an elegant restaurant and such lyrics! I was just speechless and didn't know what to say. The boss should know this. No, never again. Embarrassing and uncomfortable!!

Disappointing Service – Rushed Out Despite Reservation We had a very disappointing experience at La Cantinette. Despite making a reservation, we were rushed out of the restaurant in an extremely unprofessional manner. There was no mention of a time limit when booking, yet after finishing our meal, we were asked if we wanted to order drinks. We ordered a second round, but just one minute after they were served, a waiter abruptly told us we had to leave because they needed the table for another reservation. We explained that we had just received our drinks and hadn’t even started drinking, but they insisted. To make matters worse, they started making noise around us by moving chairs and tables, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. A second waiter came over and repeated the same request, even though other guests who had arrived before us were still sitting undisturbed. When we questioned why only we were being asked to leave despite having a reservation, we received no clear response. We refused to leave until we finished what we had ordered, as it was completely unreasonable to be forced out immediately after being served. We saw a supervisor, raised our complaint, he mentioned that we were right but our evening was already ruined. This kind of service is completely unacceptable and does not align with customer satisfaction. If there is a time limit, it should be clearly communicated during the reservation process. Treating customers this way—especially when other tables were not asked to leave—raises serious concerns about fairness and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very negative impression, and we will not be returning.

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen. Dies wäre auch ein Grund wieder zu kommen. Ich hatte Spaghetti Aqlio olio bestellt und fragte ob ich nicht eine kleine Portion haben könnte. Es wurde bestätigt und sogar später nachgefragt ob ich wirklich eine kleine Portion wollte. Es hat alles gepasst und war sehr lecker. Wir haben dann bezahlt und ich habe es auch nicht erwartet dass meine Portion günstiger ist, ich möchte nur nicht das Essen weggeworfen wird. Es war alles ok. Beim verlassen des Restaurants habe ich auf die Speisekarte draußen geschaut, es war dummer Zufall und da sah ich das mein Gericht 1 Euro günstiger war, zu Hause habe ich mir Gedanken gemacht und überlegt das wenn man weniger Ißt mehr zahlen muss ? Die Fotos zeigen es, habe eine Woche später das Foto von der Speisekarte außen gemacht und mich dann entschieden diese Bewertung zu schreiben zu schreiben.

Food was good and interesting but they brought me the wrong dish which of course i didn't order and eventually gave it back and had to pick something else since what i wanted was not available even if it was on the menu. Overall a nice restaurant but not authentic Italian- its a germanized version of italian food. I lived 10 ys in Italy so..

This is our favorite place to have lunch or dinner when we visit Wiesbaden. I have been here with my husband probably 5 times now, and everything is always phenomenal. Go during truffle season because their giant truffle gnocchi and their truffle tagliatelle pasta is amazing. We have even brought some family with us when they have been in town- everyone is always impressed. Looking forward to my next delicious meal there, already.

Nice restaurant in Goldgasse with Italian flair. The service was very friendly, the restaurant was well booked. A reservation is recommended. The food was very good. Unfortunately we sat near the door, which in cold weather meant it was quite cold. Although we were given blankets, it was still too cold for the women in our group. We'd love to come back again in the summer.

Authentic taste and excellent service! The tuna pizza at La Cantinetta is like it came straight from Italy - the dough is really unique and stands out from other pizzerias in Wiesbaden. Absolutely recommended! The noodles with shrimp were also perfectly prepared, fresh and full of flavor. The arugula salad came with a very good dressing, however I would recommend not storing the mini tomatoes in the fridge as they are sensitive to cold and will lose their flavor. Despite the store being full on Saturday, the service was friendly and attentive. We were lucky to get a table in just 20 minutes without a reservation. The only small criticism: our seat was directly behind the kitchen elevator area, which was a bit annoying for us. The toilets were also particularly clean, which reinforced the positive impression of the entire visit. All in all, a highly recommended address in Wiesbaden – both for the food and the service!

They have a special pizza with charcoal mixed in the crust that is amazing. They also made gluten free pasta for us. The staff was super nice to children as well.

Wir hatten einen 9er Tisch reserviert, leider wurde uns einer direkt an der Türe ( es war minus 1 Grad draussen und keinen Windfang vorhanden ! ) vergeben. Es zog öfters wie Hechtsuppe. Der Service war ok, aber gestresst, da vermutlich zu viele Gäste angemeldet waren. Wir bestellten alle das Silvestermenü. Vorspeise kam einmal falsch, bezw. zuerst gar nicht. Hauptgang waren alle Speisen kalt und bei meiner Schwiegermutter war sogar der Fisch nicht richtig durch gebraten. Geschmacklich war alles bis und mit dem Dessert gut. Das mit den "kalten Speisen" war uns dann auch klar warum: Jede Speise wurde von der anderen Strassenseite vis a vis vom Hauptrestaurant durch die kalte Luft ( wie bei einer Gefrierstrasse ) herüber getragen ! Habe mich beim Besitzer später vorstellig gemacht und beschwert, ihm empfohlen bei dieser Serviceart wenigstens doch mit heissen Teller und einer „warmen Glocke“ zu arbeiten, wie es üblich bei einem Bankett-Service mit langen Wege ist. Es hat ihn glaube nicht interessiert. Wir sind selber alle Gastronomen und wurden enttäuscht. Bei einer gesalzenen Rechnung von knapp 1000.- Euro sollte man mehr erwarten dürfen. Ach ja, Weinangebot war gross, leider aber nur kleine Flaschen und keine Magnum im Angebot. Für uns ein Muss für so ein Lokal, dass in einer höheren Liga mit mischen will. We just had dinner at this lovely restaurant We ordered 2 Aperols and a Lillet as an aperitif, unfortunately we didn't get 2 Aperols as ordered but instead 3, all of which were charged in full. When we toasted, the big misfortune was that unfortunately one of the glasses broke while we were toasting and ruined my companion's evening wear and I was completely wet too. The boss, who unfortunately generally looked quite unfriendly, was absolutely not interested in the whole scenario, on the contrary!! I was even charged for the Aperol!!Unfortunately!!! Great shop, but the boss should perhaps rethink his attitude as a host

A warm and welcoming dinner on a cold Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day as the menu demanded! So, immediately appealing as a restaurant split between two buildings but both looking modern, yet warm and cosy. Our first thoughts were definitely not to sit outside but for those that did there were great heaters to toast their chestnuts! Now let me point out, the atmosphere only gets 4/5 stars for one tiny yet important thing. The door didn’t self close and when people left it open the cold outside air went right down our backs. It was warmed by the friendliness and cheer of the staff who very quickly grasped the issue after multiple guests complained. Now the food, oh the delights! We had multiple choices we wanted to try since many sounded delectable, so we went back on Christmas Day! We weren’t disappointed. My taste buds have booked for tomorrow, although I will be disappointed to be in a different city trying not to judge the next restaurant against this expectation! It had best be the tastiest McD ever!!! Every mouth full was a blossoming experience. I ate the smallest portions just to make each course last as long as possible. From the homely chestnut soup, the elegant yet bursting with taste gnocchi to the indulgent chocolate soufflé, I promise you’ll find something on the menu that’ll wish you’d never agreed to share a single mouthful with your partner! The staff are amazing, even grumpy after he came round! :) We’ll be returning and I can’t wait. Definitely worth a pin if you’re in the area. Ciao Bella x

We were outside in August when the weather was nice. I enjoyed Spaghetti Vongole Veraci. It was a huge portion (and not just because of the volume of the mussels!) and was cooked fantastically. The service was also very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended!

In the immediate vicinity there are another 5 restaurants where the same waiter and waitress serve, and there is only one kitchen for all 5 restaurants... As soon as the waiters are stressed, they become rude and forgetful. The chefs don't like their own food because they deliver a terrible Christmas menu. It has nothing to do with Italian, I have no idea why people say that. Germans don't know what Italian is... as soon as something ends with a, e, o it's already Italian for them. Conclusion If you like Italian cuisine (Bulgarian staff) you will definitely find your dream here...

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, every bite was a treat! Special praise goes to the service team: The employees are incredibly warm and attentive. It is precisely this warmth that brings us back here again and again. If I could, I would give it 6 stars!

I had a beautiful evening on my quickly organized birthday, I was treated very well even they brought the desert with candles, the food was delicious, just perfect, many compliments to the chef who prepared an spectacular dinner, the staff was very kind, the boy who served my table was very friendly and polite. The place is nice and very clean, and very pleasant, many thanks to the cellar, you are the best. I will come back for sure!!!!!

The La Continental in Goldgasse in Wiesbaden is a special tip. The lunch menu invites you to indulge in culinary delights for 15.90. Including a drink, you are served a two-course menu that is completely convincing in terms of both the presentation and the taste. Finally, an espresso, which is also included in the price. We came without a reservation, but were immediately shown to a free table. Getting a table at lunchtime during Advent is not easy, which is why a reservation is certainly advantageous. The very friendly service staff is very attentive and professional despite the many guests. The atmosphere is typically Italian and the furnishings are very tasteful. In summer it is worth visiting the outdoor area. Thank you for the extraordinary, delicious excursion into Italian cuisine. It certainly wasn't my last visit.

Everything perfect! We came in by chance and it was great. The truffle soup, the octopus salad, pasta and gnocchi – was delicious. We were also impressed by the service and the atmosphere. The restaurant is only recommended!

Simply a wow experience. We were on vacation in Wiesbaden and only wanted to eat Italian. We got exceptionally good everything ❤️very good food, great service and a nice ambience. Not cheap, but absolutely reasonable for what you get. We'll definitely be back

The food is a delight!! If you're not careful, you'll forget that you're in Wiesbaden and think you're in a small alley in Rome or Florence. The customer approach is sometimes very direct, but is still packaged with enough charm. Always my pleasure!!

I recently visited this Italian restaurant in Wiesbaden with my girlfriend, excited to try authentic Italian cuisine for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The food was okay, but it wasn’t great. For example, my schnitzel came without any sauce, mayo, or even salt, and I had to ask for these basics. Mayo wasn’t complimentary either – you have to pay extra for it. There was no salt on the table, which is a pretty basic thing you’d expect, and again, we had to ask for it. The most disappointing part, however, was the service. Our server, who had a beard, was incredibly unfriendly and unresponsive throughout the meal. When we asked for the check, he just threw the bill on the table without a word and walked away. It felt like we weren’t welcome there, almost like the restaurant is only meant for Italians or regulars, which left a very bad impression. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere or good service. The food was average at best, and the lack of hospitality made the experience memorable in a bad way. Photos attached for reference.

We had high hopes from the outside. The serving on the plate also looks sophisticated. We didn't like it at all. Overcooked pasta... my lasagne didn't even have bechamel on it, just tomato sauce and cheese. Sauces don't taste good. Pizza doesn't taste good... We didn't have meat but pasta and pizza no...

Sinister flair in the middle of Wiesbaden, everything was great

Very tasty food and you don't have to wait long.

We asked for penne instead of spaghetti with the ragu bolognese, it was a success with my kid.

We ate there yesterday and I had been looking forward to the truffle pasta all day. The portions are getting smaller and smaller - but ok. The sauce tasted very bland and just a pinch of salt would have been enough. Also, the cheapest truffle is grated over the pasta, so the whole dish doesn't taste like truffles. I would be distracted from the cheap truffle if you at least stir a few drops of truffle oil into the pasta. Then it tastes great and no one notices anything. And then the dreary sprig of rosemary. Guys, leave him out? It bothers me for months and I think “well, maybe it was the last one left” but it really is like that every time. Then you can't charge €26 for the plate. It would be so easy and not more expensive to try harder. As I said, a healthy sprig of rosemary, a pinch of salt and a few drops of truffle oil would have been enough for a 1A dish,

I always like the service, the atmosphere and the food.

Had the fixed menu lunch @€15pp which was bargain considering the quality of the venue, location and the dishes on offer.. Also ended up there right before they closed up one random weeknight after the kitchen was closed. They were still happy to have us and improvised on what they could offer us to east and drink. Great wines are in stock always. Friendly service. Decent place for Italian food or drinks to sit back and watch the world go by..

It looks nice at first glance, but the good reviews also disappointed us. You can see the size of the portion yourself in the photo (according to the waiter, this is a larger portion; there was a mix of three dishes to try). We also waited forever for the tickets and our food. Our conclusion: the restaurant would like to give the appearance of a high-quality restaurant, but neither the premises nor the food nor the service are adequate for this.

Very nice atmosphere, food good to very good, but portions are borderline considering the price. Waiters seemed very stressed and therefore had no capacity to offer really good service.

The best Italian restaurant in Weisbaden! The service is a 10/10. All of the staff is very friendly and provide great suggestions if you can't decide what you would like. They have menus in English and the staff speak some English as well. Everyone is very friendly and it is very easy to make resevations online. If you plan on coming over the weekend, definitely make a reservation. I have been here more times than I can count and I have never had a bad meal. Everything is delicious. My favorites are the pastas, salads, and steaks. The truffle pasta is wonderful. The potions are perfect and every thing comes out piping hot. This is a great location to people watch. The restaurant is good for couples, families and small groups. Any time I have family visiting from the states I am sure to bring them here. The expesso martinis are the BEST! Try it and thank me later. This is also a great place to reserve for dinner parties or corporate outings. There is a parking deck/parkhaus near by that is walking distance 3-5 min walk away.

From the service to the food to the ambience, everything is perfect here. Fabulous food, really a great recommendation 👍

The food was super tasty, although the drinks took an extremely long time and the starters were very chaotic, especially not quite as we had ordered. However, the main course and dessert came together very quickly and tasted excellent. Unfortunately, we also had someone in service who - judging by her facial expression and behavior - didn't enjoy her work. All in all, it's a nice place and recommended.

Delicious food and good value for money. What bothers the staff constantly arguing.

Ivian was first indifferent and then aggressive when we requested to pay. Genuinely bizarre. Food was good; great that the menu is broad but consistently high quality. Rest of the service was fine for a larger group.

There is only one employee who has poor service and is unfriendly. It's a shame, because the other employees are very nice. Without him it would be perfect.

Hidden away in a little alley, this gem of an Italian restaurant will delight and charm you. The food is simply delicious. I cannot describe the joy you’ll feel when you feast on the gigantic gnocchi stuffed with Parmesan cream and slathered with a Parmesan truffle sauce. Be sure to get the fresh bread and homemade salted butter and top it off with a bottle of Lugana white wine. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Today the two of us were guests at “La Cantinetta”, spontaneously and without a reservation. The various waiters were very attentive and friendly, the food was above average and, due to the fresh ingredients, more than appropriate for the price (risotto with truffles and green asparagus for €22, hand-made tortellini). Salsiccia filling for 20€). What we found particularly worth mentioning was the help with choosing the wine, it was specially provided Keller looked for a bottle of Ornelaia for us, which was then served professionally and courteously. The mixed dessert platter is more than recommended. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and would like to be a guest again at any time.

The food was good and the time between ordering and completion was fine. In terms of taste, the food was good but not particularly special that it needed to be highlighted. Very strong criticism: there were two mice running under the tables. After we pointed this out to the waiter, we were seated at… nothing more. I would have liked to have been much more accommodating from the company here. A reason for me unfortunately not to come again.
