The order went without any problems, the employees were very organized, the food came quicker than expected and the portions were just right, especially the sauce on the pasta was perfect, our needs were taken into account throughout the entire service, there were no problems, it was a pleasant dinner

My husband and I stumbled onto this family-run restaurant a few months ago while I was on a work trip to Frankfurt, and the experience was so delightful, we both could not wait to come back. So when the time came to plan a vacation, it didn’t matter if it was coincidence or pure luck that gave us a quick stopover in Frankfurt, but we both were absolutely certain we would be dining at Villa Lauda. Once more, we each had the tagliatelle starter with truffle - and they are not shy about shaving the truffle on. This isn’t like any other truffle dish you’ve ever had. This is truffle in its truest form, and it absolutely shines in this dish. But the dish I’ve been dreaming about since June? The calf’s liver in butter and sage. Not many places in the world make calf’s liver, and even fewer do it well. But NOBODY does it better than Mama cooking in the kitchen at Villa Lauda. It comes with 4 deliciously tender, perfectly delicious pieces that, while enough, I could easily have had more. Just divine. It also came with a side of veggies that I barely noticed, because the liver was just TOO good. Cannot wait for the opportunity to come back!

Super cute little Italian family restaurant. The dishes are lovingly prepared, the portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The espresso at the end also tastes great, I can only recommend the place!

Hoping to have a nice evening, we were unfortunately disappointed. On the one hand, we didn't like the food and on the other hand, we were still hungry after the main course. I don't think this is right considering the prices. The fact that a bottle of wine is simply placed on the table without being served is also not okay given the price level. Unfortunately, the ambience isn't great either, especially if you're seated near the entrance door. Unfortunately there is no restaurant for us to “come back” to.

Update: My last review is already three years old, but nothing has changed. The food tastes excellent. In particular the Vitello Tonnato, fish and meat dishes. We were here after our civil wedding and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. An absolute recommendation and the price-performance ratio is simply great. Very good service, the food tastes excellent and especially the appetizer platter
