WOW!!! *ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED*!!! A visit to Il Paradiso was a truly disastrous culinary experience. I'm speechless and simply cannot fathom how such high ratings are possible. Tagliatelle al Ragu: The pasta was overcooked and the Bolognese sauce was abysmal. It was far from homemade. And if it was, I suggest the chef check and change his recipe. Pizza with Frutti di Mare (except for the crust) was completely soggy with an unidentifiable sauce. The ingredients looked and tasted like the cheapest kind. They also seemed to have been pickled in vinegar beforehand. Unfortunately, it's light-years away from Italian cuisine and any kind of culinary skill. More than disappointing and, in my opinion, *ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED*!!! The positive reviews are therefore more than puzzling to me....

Amazing food and service. Vegetarian options are quite a few and good ones

The evening at Matteo's was perfect! Delicious appetizers and, in my opinion, the best pizzas in Frankfurt. Plus, Italian beer on tap. Fast and friendly service, and the chef is happy to come to your table to chat. Overall, a pleasant and delicious evening.
