Tempaccio Ristorante in Frankfurt am Main

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Das Lokal geriert sich als Edelitaliener, ist aber weit davon entfernt. Der Kellner war freundlich, aber unwissend. In dem Gericht, dass ich gewählt hatte, waren die Auberginen verbrannt und die Aprikosen hatten schwarze(!) Streifen.

Leider eine komplette Enttäuschung. Preis/ Leistung hat leider gar nicht gestimmt. Auch das Personal ist nicht wirklich geschult und kennt sich kaum aus. Weder mit der Gastronomie noch mit dem lockeren und coolen Umgang mit Kunden. Spart euch diesen Aufenthalt und geht lieber a die neben anliegenden lokalen (Vini da Sabatini, vetro vero). Für den Preis kann ich auch schon fast ins moriki gehen und bekomme mehr als trockenen Fisch, trockenes Fleisch mit gefrorenen Erbsen. Nein Danke!

Sehr leckeres Fine Dining zu noch akzeptabelen Preisen. Wir haben draußen gesessen, geschützter Bereich, Straße nicht laut.

Weiß nicht woher die guten Bewertungen kommen. Der Laden ist völlig überteuert und das Essen mittelmäßig. Bei einfachen Pastagerichten (Tomatensauce, Eigelb, Parmesan, Trüffel) zwischen 20-30+ erwarte ich hausgemachte Pasta. Service war okay aber kein Highlight. Preis-Leistung echt unterirdisch. Sorry..

Ich weiß garnicht genau wo ich anfangen soll, das Essen war perfekt, das Ambiente ist traumhaft, aber am besten ist wahrscheinlich der Service, freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und es hat an nichts gefehlt! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, absolute Empfehlung!!!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Tempaccio in Frankfurt und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den aufmerksamen und herzlichen Service eines Restaurantmitarbeiters, der den eher wortlosen Umgang des Restaurantleiters deutlich ausgeglichen hat. Sowohl die Speisen als auch die Weinempfehlungen waren ausgezeichnet – qualitativ wirklich auf hohem Niveau. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und den Abend sehr genossen, wobei wir zu diesen Preisniveau im Sterne-Restaurant preisgleich noch besser gespeist haben. Ein weiteres für diese Bewertung jedoch entscheidendes Manko, war die Situation beim Bezahlen: Aufgrund technischer Probleme war nur Barzahlung möglich. Wir hatten den Betrag in Absprache entsprechend erhöht, sodass zwei genau definierte Absacker enthalten waren. Serviert wurde allerdings nur einer davon, ohne weitere Erklärung oder Reaktion.

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant mit feinem Essen, schönem Ambiente und sehr freundlichem Service. Perfekt, um sich als Belohnung etwas Besonderes zu gönnen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Kann es nur weiter empfehlen… Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit liebe zum Detail. Man kommt sich vor, wie in einem Restaurant in Italien. Eine sehr warmherzig Atmosphäre. Hab mich bei meinen Besuchen durch das Menü gegessen und kann nur sagen, dass alles einfach nur spitze ist. Hier wird mit qualitativen hochwertigen Zutaten gekocht und mit Leidenschaft. Das schmeckt man in jedem Gericht. Auch die Auswahl an Weine ist einfach nur top. Großes Lob an die Servicemitarbeiter, die mit Herz und Seele dabei sind und jeden Abend zu einem besonderen Abend gestalten. An der Stelle auch besonders großen Lob am Restaurantleiter Philip. Weiter so :-)

Im 3-Gangmenü erwarte ich zumindest eine angenehme Portionsgröße für EUR 65 pro Person. - Dessert vergessen und nachträglich lieblos auf dem Teller angerichtet - Gewählter Wein war nicht verfügbar Am Ende war ein stolzer Preis von fast EUR 250 auf der Rechnung, da hilft es mir auch nicht, dass der Service mir halbwegs erklären kann was sich auf dem Teller befindet.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant für meinen Geburtstag ausgewählt und waren mit einer großen Gruppe (14-15 Personen) dort. Das Essen war köstlich und der Service einfach fantastisch! Die Mitarbeiter schlugen uns ein perfektes Menü für unsere große Gruppe vor: Vorspeisen, gefolgt von einem Hauptgang (Fisch oder Fleisch). Dadurch verlief alles schnell und reibungslos. Die Kellner waren unglaublich aufmerksam – unsere Gläser waren nie leer! Auch unsere Gruppe mit unterschiedlichen Sprachkenntnissen (die Hälfte sprach kein Deutsch) wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen – für hervorragendes Essen und außergewöhnlichen, professionellen Service!

I chose Tempaccio to celebrate my partner’s birthday with a fine-dining Italian experience, but unfortunately the evening did not meet expectations. The restaurant positions itself at a price level where I expect not only good food, but also hospitality, refinement, and a sense of culinary storytelling. I was hoping to experience the chef’s vision and understand the inspiration behind the dishes, but there was no explanation or engagement from the staff that helped us connect with the cuisine. It felt like an ordinary dinner priced as fine dining. Service was the biggest disappointment. Despite receiving a reservation confirmation the night before, our table was not prepared when we arrived — for a birthday dinner. The service remained distant and minimal throughout the evening, which made us feel unwelcome rather than taken care of. Food: • “Cappuccino al Tartufo” – wonderful truffle aroma and taste, but the portion was too large, making it heavy instead of refined. • Branzino – beautifully cooked and delicate fish, but the strong, rich sauce and beans overwhelmed the main ingredient instead of enhancing it. • Affogato – simple and enjoyable. Ambience was loud and crowded, and the terrace that had looked so charming online did not deliver the expected atmosphere. I had high hopes for a memorable Italian dining experience, but the overall value did not match the price. I sincerely wish the team improves the service and guest experience, because the culinary ideas have potential — they just need to be communicated and delivered with more care.

A fantastic restaurant! In addition to the excellent menus (3, 4, or 5 courses), which always impress with their creativity and flavor, they recently added a selection of traditional Italian osteria dishes at very reasonable prices. Massimo always manages to combine high-quality ingredients with Italian passion, always demonstrating his own distinctive style. The service is professional, warm, and attentive—just the right mix for a truly relaxing evening.

Outstanding, innovative cuisine. Dishes are available à la carte or from a set menu, and most dishes can be individually selected as starters or main courses. And the prices are unbeatable at this level of cuisine. Stylish tableware and plenty of little surprises. An affogato al caffe is served at your table with a freshly brewed espresso from a mini Bialetti espresso maker. It's a true pleasure to put together your dinner and enjoy it in a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, either outside or in style. And don't forget – a gin and tonic or a glass of wine in the afternoon, as the restaurant is open from 3 p.m. Our first choice in Frankfurt with friends or family!

We love this restaurant! The food is always fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much love – it feels like a little piece of Italy in the middle of the city. The pasta is especially heavenly, but the appetizers and desserts (affogato!) are also a highlight every time. 🍝🍷🍮 You can tell that the team here isn't just interested in "serving any old food." The portions have always been quite large. The team is super warm, attentive, and always manages to conjure up a family atmosphere. You immediately notice that hospitality is a top priority here. A unique Italian restaurant with a slightly different menu. You can put together your own meal with matching wine recommendations, or take the set menu. I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but that evening it was so loud and uncomfortable with screaming children that I can only give it 3 stars at the most. I have children myself, who were also very lively at that age. I don't understand the parents—the restaurant opens in the afternoon. So you could eat there with kids in the early evening; it would probably be more relaxed and enjoyable for the children. The waitress was also annoyed, rolled her eyes but did nothing. At those prices, I'd like to eat in a relaxed manner. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and so we left the restaurant much earlier than intended. What a shame.

A 3-course menu is currently available starting at just €59. Seating is available both inside and outside in a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Tempaccio takes Italian cuisine to a new level – each dish is a small work of art. The ingredients are of the highest quality, perfectly matched, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was equally outstanding: attentive, warm, yet discreet. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, perfect for a special evening. If you want to experience Italian cuisine at Michelin-star level, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.

Food below average. Service is extremely slow. The gap between starter and main course was above 30 minutes. The flank filet was rubbery. Trout was somewhat acceptable. So far the worst Italian dining experience in Frankfurt, unfortunately.

We ate at Tempaccio on Tuesday evening and were really looking forward to a relaxing summer evening on the terrace. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible – two women were sitting in the middle of the terrace area with their very small and overtired children, obviously family and friends of Tempaccio, who were unfortunately screaming like mad every minute. This can, of course, happen with small children, but given the late hour and the young age of the children, we had hoped to leave the restaurant soon. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, and despite the obvious annoyance of all the guests on the terrace (10 other people), no attempt was made to move them or even to put the children to bed. From 10:00 p.m. onwards, the children were kept busy with cell phone videos at "high volume," which created a lovely subway atmosphere. After all the other guests on the terrace had already fled the restaurant, we finally had enough at 10:45 p.m. and left as well. The most relaxing moment of the evening was definitely the quiet restroom visit. As we said goodbye, we expressed our displeasure, which was met with incomprehension. The fact that the waitress herself had partially covered her ears had apparently already been forgotten. It's nice if the employees can only stand being on the terrace for a short time, but paying guests are expected to "enjoy" the lively atmosphere – for which I wouldn't go to a restaurant in the Westend, but rather to the Hauptwache. It's a real shame and truly incomprehensible how you can behave like that towards your paying guests. Especially at Family, it should be possible to say something briefly and find a solution together. We definitely won't be coming back.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. The staff is really friendly and attentive to detail. I was especially impressed by their lasagne - the most delicate layers of dough with a rich meat filling and perfectly melted cheese. The wine was chosen perfectly for the dish. The prices are quite consistent with the quality. The interior is stylish, but without pathos - you can feel the real Italian spirit. We will definitely come back again and bring friends - this place deserves the highest recommendations!

Tempaccio is an absolute insider tip! I've been there several times and have been thrilled every time. Italian cuisine is exceptional – creative, authentic and simply incredibly delicious. You can taste that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and quality. The service is warm and attentive, the ambience is stylish and inviting. Everything just fits together! I always enjoy coming back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Alles hat gepasst, wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend.

The food was good but for a 4 course menu nearly 4 hours to be served is very upsetting and unbelievably slow. We had to request the dessert to go and it took 30min for us to be able to pay the bill. We asked for drinks and they had forgotten for 1h, when they asked if we wanted anything I had given up and said it was no longer needed, after 5 minutes it was at our table, even though I said it was not needed, I was so upset already that I didn't even bother returning it. Maybe this was related to the preparation for the Silvester, as I cannot imagine this is their day to day, but still, based on this experience unfortunately I wouldn't return nor recommend if you have plans after, as it may take a long while until the service is finished.

The best mussels we have eaten. Great Italian food, generous serves and staff who spoke English. Looked after us even though we arrived before opening time. Thankyou!

Das Restaurant ist bezüglich der Qualität des Essens sehr zu empfehlen, insbesonder ist die gleichbleibende Qualität vorzuheben. Auch habe ich meine Firmenweihnachtsfeier bereits im Tempaccio gefeiert. Umso bedauerlicher ist es, dass bereits zum zweiten Mal ein junger Mann (Servicekraft) sich einer Kollegin von mir im Ton vergriffen hat, die lediglich wissen wollte, welcher Tisch nun frei wäre, da wir umgesetzt werden sollten. Es wäre auch wünschenswert eine Zwischen-Info zu bekommen, dass die Bestellaufnahme aus organisatorischen Gründen länger dauerd, einfach den Gast längere Zeit zu ignorieren und dann herablassende Kommentare zu bekommen nur weil wir nachgefragt haben, hat unserem Abend leider unschön Spuren hinterlassen...man sollte nicht vergessen, daass gerade in Krisenzeiten man auf treue Kunden angewiesen ist.. Schade!!

Something has changed here. This was one of my favourite restaurants in Frankfurt which I've visited about 7 times over the past few years. But this time, there were different faces, slow service, and the food wasn't spectacular any more. Maybe it was just a one-off.
