We love this restaurant! The food is always fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much love – it feels like a little piece of Italy in the middle of the city. The pasta is especially heavenly, but the appetizers and desserts (affogato!) are also a highlight every time. 🍝🍷🍮 You can tell that the team here isn't just interested in "serving any old food." The portions have always been quite large. The team is super warm, attentive, and always manages to conjure up a family atmosphere. You immediately notice that hospitality is a top priority here. Whether it's for a special evening for two, a cozy meal with friends, or a girls' night out – we always go home happy. Highly recommended! :) Thank you, Tempaccio team!

A unique Italian restaurant with a slightly different menu. You can put together your own meal with matching wine recommendations, or take the set menu. I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but that evening it was so loud and uncomfortable with screaming children that I can only give it 3 stars at the most. I have children myself, who were also very lively at that age. I don't understand the parents—the restaurant opens in the afternoon. So you could eat there with kids in the early evening; it would probably be more relaxed and enjoyable for the children. The waitress was also annoyed, rolled her eyes but did nothing. At those prices, I'd like to eat in a relaxed manner. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and so we left the restaurant much earlier than intended. What a shame.

Tempaccio takes Italian cuisine to a new level – each dish is a small work of art. The ingredients are of the highest quality, perfectly matched, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was equally outstanding: attentive, warm, yet discreet. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, perfect for a special evening. If you want to experience Italian cuisine at Michelin-star level, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.

Food below average. Service is extremely slow. The gap between starter and main course was above 30 minutes. The flank filet was rubbery. Trout was somewhat acceptable. So far the worst Italian dining experience in Frankfurt, unfortunately.

We ate at Tempaccio on Tuesday evening and were really looking forward to a relaxing summer evening on the terrace. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible – two women were sitting in the middle of the terrace area with their very small and overtired children, obviously family and friends of Tempaccio, who were unfortunately screaming like mad every minute. This can, of course, happen with small children, but given the late hour and the young age of the children, we had hoped to leave the restaurant soon. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, and despite the obvious annoyance of all the guests on the terrace (10 other people), no attempt was made to move them or even to put the children to bed. From 10:00 p.m. onwards, the children were kept busy with cell phone videos at "high volume," which created a lovely subway atmosphere. After all the other guests on the terrace had already fled the restaurant, we finally had enough at 10:45 p.m. and left as well. The most relaxing moment of the evening was definitely the quiet restroom visit. As we said goodbye, we expressed our displeasure, which was met with incomprehension. The fact that the waitress herself had partially covered her ears had apparently already been forgotten. It's nice if the employees can only stand being on the terrace for a short time, but paying guests are expected to "enjoy" the lively atmosphere – for which I wouldn't go to a restaurant in the Westend, but rather to the Hauptwache. It's a real shame and truly incomprehensible how you can behave like that towards your paying guests. Especially at Family, it should be possible to say something briefly and find a solution together. We definitely won't be coming back.

I am absolutely fascinated by Tempaccio! I can only recommend the restaurant. Price/performance simply cannot be topped.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. The staff is really friendly and attentive to detail. I was especially impressed by their lasagne - the most delicate layers of dough with a rich meat filling and perfectly melted cheese. The wine was chosen perfectly for the dish. The prices are quite consistent with the quality. The interior is stylish, but without pathos - you can feel the real Italian spirit. We will definitely come back again and bring friends - this place deserves the highest recommendations!

Tempaccio is an absolute insider tip! I've been there several times and have been thrilled every time. Italian cuisine is exceptional – creative, authentic and simply incredibly delicious. You can taste that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and quality. The service is warm and attentive, the ambience is stylish and inviting. Everything just fits together! I always enjoy coming back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Alles hat gepasst, wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend.

The food was good but for a 4 course menu nearly 4 hours to be served is very upsetting and unbelievably slow. We had to request the dessert to go and it took 30min for us to be able to pay the bill. We asked for drinks and they had forgotten for 1h, when they asked if we wanted anything I had given up and said it was no longer needed, after 5 minutes it was at our table, even though I said it was not needed, I was so upset already that I didn't even bother returning it. Maybe this was related to the preparation for the Silvester, as I cannot imagine this is their day to day, but still, based on this experience unfortunately I wouldn't return nor recommend if you have plans after, as it may take a long while until the service is finished.

The best mussels we have eaten. Great Italian food, generous serves and staff who spoke English. Looked after us even though we arrived before opening time. Thankyou!

Das Restaurant ist bezüglich der Qualität des Essens sehr zu empfehlen, insbesonder ist die gleichbleibende Qualität vorzuheben. Auch habe ich meine Firmenweihnachtsfeier bereits im Tempaccio gefeiert. Umso bedauerlicher ist es, dass bereits zum zweiten Mal ein junger Mann (Servicekraft) sich einer Kollegin von mir im Ton vergriffen hat, die lediglich wissen wollte, welcher Tisch nun frei wäre, da wir umgesetzt werden sollten. Es wäre auch wünschenswert eine Zwischen-Info zu bekommen, dass die Bestellaufnahme aus organisatorischen Gründen länger dauerd, einfach den Gast längere Zeit zu ignorieren und dann herablassende Kommentare zu bekommen nur weil wir nachgefragt haben, hat unserem Abend leider unschön Spuren hinterlassen...man sollte nicht vergessen, daass gerade in Krisenzeiten man auf treue Kunden angewiesen ist.. Schade!!

Something has changed here. This was one of my favourite restaurants in Frankfurt which I've visited about 7 times over the past few years. But this time, there were different faces, slow service, and the food wasn't spectacular any more. Maybe it was just a one-off.

Very tasty and very courteous service. Of course you pay a little more, but it is really nice, especially outside. The only downside was that our table and chairs wobbled badly on the uneven floor.

Fantastic restaurant! The food at 'Il Tempaccio' was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and the service was first class. Highly recommended, simply great!

My visit was about a month ago and unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. In my opinion, prices do not correspond to the quality of the food. I got the impression that there was more magic being done here instead of placing emphasis on the quality of the products. We paid around €250 for two with an aperitivo.

Very tasty food, but the prices are in no way related to the food on offer. Unfortunately it's too expensive and the card prices are not up to date.

The service was very, very slow. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for the main dish was so so the fried artichokes were really too dry and difficult to eat. The second course. The pasta was OK. The main dish was also seven out of 10.

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude, hier zu essen! Die Küche zaubert so wunderbare, außergewöhnliche Kompositionen, bei denen die Aromen und Texturen überraschende Kombinationen eingehen. Ein kleiner asiatischer Einschlag ist oft zu schmecken. Gestern waren es das Onsen Ei mit Spargelsalat und Pecorino-Pfeffer Sauce und das Brennnessel-Risotto mit Erbsen und Taleggio, die einfach begeistert haben. Bei den vielen italienischen Restaurants im Westend, die mehr oder weniger immer das gleiche (freilich auf unterschiedlichem Niveau) anbieten, bietet das Tempaccio ein großes Vergnügen für denjenigen, der auf der Suche nach dem Besonderen ist. Wie der der Kritiker bei ""Ratatouille" sagt: "Überrasch mich!" Und das macht Massimo zu unserem großen Vergnügen. Hingehen und verzaubern lassen! Danke für den tollen Abend.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were instantly hit by the Italian energy and warm atmosphere. We have decided on having 5 course Menu as it was the best way to grasp this restaurant's perspective on Italian cuisine. After enjoying the most amazingly plated dishes that tasted absolutely impeccable, and a couple glasses of really good wine, we left the restaurant extremely happy and satisfied with overall experience. Compliments to the Chefs and thanks on producing such pieces of art, big thank you to service on being so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to any gourmet out there that is looking for a relaxing night with amazing food, heartwelcoming ambience and good wine.

First of all: Price/performance ⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can visit the Tempaccio in the middle of the Westend… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: The dishes available to choose from are very unusual and belong to gourmet cuisine. The lasagna was tasty, the tortellini were interesting, but I personally didn't like it that much. The meat, however, was very good. Bread and even a small antipasto were donated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: Always courteous and attentive. ⭐️⭐️ Ambience: The restaurant's big weakness is the ambience and the space itself. It was TERRIBLY loud in this restaurant. It was therefore difficult for us to converse. There is nothing else special to see here either. ⭐️ Prices: The prices are, as usual for this area, very steep... A bit too much for my taste here, especially if you look at the portions. Three(!) tortellini for just under €25 are unfortunately completely over the top.

Finally a proper Italian in Frankfurt that is not pizza and pasta and ersatz other. Good creative cuisine, Very rich, but also a good price point for what was offered. We will be back.

Obwohl das Essen geschmacklich überzeugte, war die Gesamterfahrung enttäuschend. Bereits bei der Bestellung der Getränke war die Bedienung überaus flink, was an sich nicht störend war. Ich bat jedoch um etwas Zeit, um mir die umfangreiche Weinkarte anzuschauen. Trotzdem wurde ich nach nur zwei Minuten erneut nach den Getränken gefragt und musste mich auf eine Empfehlung verlassen, da ich keine ausreichende Gelegenheit hatte, die Karte zu durchforsten. Als wir uns dann die Speiseoptionen in Ruhe anschauen wollten, wurden wir binnen weniger Minuten erneut angesprochen und nach unserer Essenswahl gefragt. Dieses Tempo empfanden wir als zu hastig und baten um weitere Zeit. Dennoch kam die Bedienung nach kurzer Zeit erneut zu unserem Tisch und drängte auf unsere Bestellung, sogar mit einem vermeintlich humorvollen Hinweis, dass die Küche auf uns warte. Diese Art von Druck empfanden wir als unangenehm und fühlten uns gehetzt. Wir entschieden uns für das 4-Gänge-Menü, und obwohl das Essen, insbesondere das Petto d’anatra und das Duetto di manzo, köstlich war, war die Zeit zwischen den Gängen viel zu knapp bemessen. Kaum fünf Minuten vergingen, bevor der nächste Gang serviert wurde, was es uns unmöglich machte, die Mahlzeiten vollständig zu genießen. Es schien, als wolle man uns schnellstmöglich bedienen, um den Tisch für neue Gäste freizumachen. Bei einem Gänge-Menü ist nicht nur die Qualität der Speisen, sondern auch die Gesamtatmosphäre und die Möglichkeit, das Essen in Ruhe zu genießen, entscheidend. Leider konnten wir diese Aspekte nicht vollständig auskosten, was sehr bedauerlich war.

The food was delicious though the portion size really small. We had to wait almost one hour for our main Menü after we received the starter. I will not repeat this place. The price value ratio is not right at this place. It used to be far better in the past.

Very average restaurant with pretentious prices. Not recommended for the dinner. Prices on the receipt do not correspond to prices in the menu(!). Food: above average for Frankfurt, but nothing to justify the price tag above 30 eur per dish (circa eur 2-3 lower on menu than on receipt). Drinks: water Eur 8 for 0.7L and wine 14 euro per glass (13 in the menu). Wine was good, so no major complaints here. The price circa 40% higher than average in FFM. Ambience: in general ok. There are good ideas, and there are bad decisions. I would choose this experiment over a no-face german standard anytime. However, there is a lot left to be desired. Staff: compliments. All was great, with the exception of awkward waiting for the coats to be brought. I guess staff could tell to warn them to bring coats before leaving, as standing next to the door for 5 minutes waiting is not exactly a desirable experience. All in all, I would not recommend for dinner. Aperitivo - maybe. Norhing special, as opposed to marketing.

Herausragende Küche mit einer spannenden Karte, allesamt mit authentischen italienischen Gerichten, die man sonst nicht kennt, sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, herausragender Service. Es war nicht mein erster Besuch und wird definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch sein.
