Cucina italiana vom Feinsten. Der Gruß aus der Küche hat mich sehr begeistert. Die Seezunge war perfekt für mich. Service, Essen und Weine alles sehr stimmig und über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Update 5.7.2026 Essen, Service und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind konstant sehr stimmig. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und ist sehr flexibel und äußerst zuvorkommend auf meine speziellen Weinwünsche eingegangen. Hab mich wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch im Nordend.

Für mich seit Jahren der weltbeste Italiener in Frankfurt. Man könnte in Rom, Venedig Mailand egal, auch in anderen europäischen Städten sein. Das Ambiente, der Service, die perfekte Dienstleistung und das wundervolle Essen gibt es nirgendwo in Frankfurt. Ich danke euch für eure super tolle Leistung. Liebe Grüße Anja Banat

Ein Klassiker in Frankfurt. Herzliches Team, leckere Speisen. Der ruhigere Standort des Amoroso’s am Opernplatz.

Der Abend im Settimo Cielo begann eigentlich nicht mit Fisch, Wein oder italienischer Lebensfreude — sondern mit der verzweifelten, 40 minütigen Parkplatzsuche in Frankfurt. Nach gefühlt 73 Runden durchs Nordend und ersten Überlegungen, das Auto einfach als Dauerinstallation auf dem Bürgersteig stehen zu lassen, kam die Erkenntnis: Lieber direkt beim Krankenhaus parken, 2–2,5 km die Straße runter und dann links. Für Frankfurter Verhältnisse parkt man dort beinahe kostenlos. 7,50€ hat mich der Abend gekostet. Ein kleines Wunder. Wahrscheinlich das einzige in Frankfurt neben freien Wohnungen unter 2.000 € Miete. Völlig erschöpft angekommen, betritt man dann ein kleines, charmantes und durchaus lebhaftes Restaurant. „Gemütlich“ könnte man sagen. Oder „akustisch vergleichbar mit einer italienischen Familienfeier kurz vor der Diskussion über Politik“. Ruhig ist es jedenfalls nicht — aber genau das gehört irgendwie dazu. Dann kam der Seewolf. Und plötzlich war alles vergeben und vergessen. Parkplatztrauma? Weg. Schrittzähler wegen der zusätzlichen Wanderung vom Auto? Egal. Der Fisch spielt hier wirklich in einer anderen Liga. Auch das Fleisch und die Salate. Nicht einfach gut, sondern „man schaut sich nach dem ersten Bissen kurz irritiert um und fragt sich, warum andere Restaurants überhaupt noch Fisch servieren“-gut. Unbedingt nach den Tagesangeboten fragen! Das sind diese Momente, in denen der Kellner Dinge erzählt, die man eigentlich gar nicht bestellen wollte — und fünf Minuten später bestellt man genau das und bedankt sich noch dafür. Dazu eine Weinauswahl, die gefährlich gut ist. Man startet vernünftig mit „nur ein Glas“ und endet irgendwo zwischen „welcher Jahrgang war das?“ und „wir nehmen noch eine Flasche“. Ja, die Preise sind hoch. Wirklich hoch. Kurzzeitig schaut man auf die Rechnung wie auf einen Strafzettel. Aber fairerweise muss man sagen: Die Qualität rechtfertigt es am Ende doch irgendwie. Widerwillig akzeptiert man sein Schicksal, nimmt den letzten Schluck Wein und plant innerlich schon die eine Niere zu verkaufen, um jedem Abend wieder hin zu können. :-) Nächstes Mal geht’s direkt auf den Krankenhausparkplatz.

Top Service , Top Essen, top Ambiente

Ich war nun zwei Mal dort essen. Den ersten Besuch würde ich mit glatten 5 Sternen bewerten, obwohl wir nur einen Platz nebeneinander an der Theke bekommen haben. Aber das sehr leckere Essen und der gute Service haben die nicht ganz optimalen Sitzplätze wieder wettgemacht. Diese Woche folgte nun der zweite Besuch und wir haben im Vorfeld reserviert, da es ein romantisches Abendessen zum Geburtstag werden sollte. Den Anlass hatte ich bei der Reservierung nicht erwähnt, d.h. die Mitarbeiter konnten von dem Geburtstag nichts wissen, aber ich hatte mir auch keine Sonderbehandlung gewünscht, sondern bin einfach von sehr gutem Service ausgegangen (was bei einem Restaurant in dieser Preisklasse keine Besonderheit sein sollte). Im Großen und Ganzen war der Abend gut. Wir hatten einen kleinen Tisch mitten im Raum und die Speisen waren wieder sehr lecker. Leider hatten wir primär mit einem Mitarbeiter zu tun, der nicht sehr freundlich war. Er hat nicht einmal gelächelt, war sehr kurz angebunden, hat uns beim rausgehen draußen nicht verabschiedet und hat auch sonst die Sachen recht grob auf den Tisch gelegt und wieder vom Tisch genommen. Entweder hatte er einen schlechten Tag oder er hatte was gegen uns, ich weiß es nicht. Die anderen Mitarbeiter, insbesondere ein jüngerer Mitarbeiter mit Bart, waren sehr freundlich und der Besitzer war auch nett und hat sich zwischendurch bei uns nach dem Wohlergehen erkundigt. Wir werden dem Restaurant sicher nochmal eine Chance geben, aber nach dem letzten Besuch schauen wir erstmal weiter nach Alternativen, wo wir uns etwas besser aufgehoben fühlen.

Ich persönlich fand das Essen zu teuer. Wir hatten verschieden Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte, es war alles solide und gut aber Preis/Leistung hat für mich nicht gepasst. Toller Service und Lokal. Großzügigen Gruß aus der Küche vorab.

Ein wirklicher Volltreffer! Wir waren zu unserem Jahrestag im Settimo Cielo und waren komplett begeistert! Definitiv einer der besten Italiener Frankfurts mit einem wirklixh sehr aufmerksamen und sehr freundlichen Service! Vom Gruß aus der Küche bis zu allen anderen Speisen, war alles auf einem Top-Niveau! Mein persönliches Highlight: Das Trio von Calamaretti, Thunfschtatar & Avocadosalat mit Flusskrebsen. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier. Macht weiter so!

We celebrated our birthday at lunchtime. Excellent pasta, good veal fillet. The birthday child received a dessert platter with a sparkler from Chef Amoroso.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das Essen hingegen nur mittelmäßig; das beste Gericht war tatsächlich das Tiramisu.

Die Atmosphäre in dem Laden ist super und das Personal wahnsinnig freundlich. Wir mussten leider sehr lange auf unser Essen warten, bekamen dafür aber einen sehr leckeren Gruß aus der Küche. Nur 4 Sterne, weil ich die vegetarische Auswahl etwas dürftig fand und weil die Pasta mit Trüffel zwar sehr lecker und auch mit großzügig viel Trüffel war, aber auch wirklich sehr buttrig - ich glaube, das ist aber auch Geschmacksache. Werde wiederkommen!

Ich hatte einen Tisch für 2 Pers. telefonisch reserviert und habe da den Anlass genannt. Die Tischdekoration war dementsprechend und das Essen dort hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es war ein erster und wunderbarer Besuch! Vielen Dank!

Eigentlich schreibe ich keine Gastrokritiken, eigentlich. Hier möchte ich aus gegebenen Anlass eine Ausnahme machen. Wir haben gestern mit 10 Personen im Settimo Cielo Geburtstag gefeiert, wie auch viele Jahre zuvor. Man weiß ja, was man bekommt. Ein eingespieltes, aufmerksames Team, in der Abwicklung präzise wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk, trotzdem locker und jederzeit für einen Plausch zu haben. Ciriaco, ein Gastgeber alter Schule, zieht im Hintergrund die Fäden. Der Laden läuft. Herausragend wie immer die Qualität der Speisen, ob Gruß aus der Küche, diverse Vor- und Hauptspeisen, sowie Desserts. Man hat das Gefühl, das die Küche noch mal einen Gang zugelegt hat. Auf diesem schon sehr hohen Niveau muss man den geschmorten Ochsenschwanz aber noch mal herausheben, ein italienischer Klassiker, so banal und doch so kompliziert in der Zubereitung. Hier bekommt man ein Gericht, was geschmacklich auch in einem Sternerestaurant nicht besser sein kann, großartig. Bravo Ciriaco, bravo.....bitte bleibe uns noch lange erhalten. Familie Toniolo

Eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen, hervorragende Pasta und Desserts schmelzen einfach im Mund! Ich empfehle allen Liebhabern der italienischen Küche.

Super leckeres Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Pizza ist sehr lecker, der Teig ist sehr knusprig und fluffig.

Das Essen war ok und die Portionen groß. In der Preisklasse und bei der aktuellen Bewertung (4.9 von 5) hatten wir geschmacklich aber deutlich (!) mehr erwartet. Außerdem mussten wir 45 min im ungeheizten Wintergarten warten, obwohl wir reserviert hatten. Kann alles mal passieren, aber dann sollte der Service freundlicher auftreten. Ambiente war gut. Insgesamt hat uns in der Preisklasse die überaus positive Bewertung mit 4,9 von 5 überrascht.

Wir haben italienische Küche genossen. Sie war gut, aber nicht sehr authentisch. Wir hatten Pasta und Fleisch, beides waren ausgezeichnete Gerichte. Es ist allerdings recht teuer.

Graziano, Ciriaco, Rocco, and Giorgio are simply fantastic... If you want to touch the sky with your fingertips, try the calamari with tuna tartare and the veal with tuna sauce. Highly recommended!!!

After a quick phone call, we spontaneously dropped in on this year's first day of school and were warmly welcomed and served perfectly in the packed restaurant. Our little daughter was even allowed to choose a table, even though, as mentioned, the restaurant was almost full. The food was delicious, as always. Thank you so much – we always love coming here and can only warmly recommend Settimo Cielo.

We had tried to make a reservation in advance by phone, but they explained that they could squeeze us in somewhere. When we arrived spontaneously, there were plenty of free seats. I'm torn about the overall impression. The food was delicious; I particularly liked the appetizer plate with the tubes. The fish and fillet were cooked to perfection, and the truffle pasta was also delicious. But it lacked a certain "wow factor" that I've experienced at other places. Everything was good, but not outstanding. The service was prompt and efficient, but also a bit rushed and rushed by. The oil and salt were missing at first, and they tried to clear away too quickly, which somewhat spoiled our relaxed feeling. We waited at least an hour for the food itself, which was fine for us that evening, but might bother some people. A solid restaurant in the somewhat higher price range. Will we go again? I don't know.

Located in a residential neighborhood. The pasta is wonderful: fresh, tasty, well seasoned and cooked. The salad is surprisingly fresh and simple: great ingredients paired with quality oil and vinegar. The terrace is very pleasant and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Homemade truffle pasta was excellent! Great selection of wine and the Tiramisu was perfect. Can only recommend! Recommended reservations!

Since the opening of his restaurant on Eckenheimer Landstrasse - many years now - we have been to Ciero regularly, often several times a week. The trip from Bad Vilbel to Frankfurt was and is always worth it. Food, service and ambience: everything perfect! Our praise goes to Ciero and his motivated employees.

Settimo Cielo – A true masterpiece in Frankfurt Saturday evening, Frankfurt, without reservation. Fully booked. The doors are basically closed to us - and yet the owner sees us, comes up to us and creates what actually seems impossible: space for two. A simple “no problem,” a look that says, “You’re always welcome here.” That was the first moment I knew this evening was going to be different. Then what followed: Not a simple dinner, not an ordinary meal. An experience. The service? Precise and yet full of heart. No pushy talk, no stilted politeness - just like you were an old friend. The atmosphere? Real Italy. Not kitschy, but authentic, warm, lively. No nonsense is sold here, you feel at home here. And in the middle of all this, in this perfect interplay of cuisine, service and ambience, the thought suddenly occurred to me: This is the Italian restaurant. The one you want to visit again and again. Settimo Cielo – my Italian in Frankfurt. From now on. Always.

Very spontaneously got a table. We enjoy Italian cuisine and have found a great host here for our needs. In addition to the very attentive, but never intrusive, service - they are really great at it - we found very tasty dishes to our liking. Plus a good bottle of wine, which was always refilled in good time - a great evening. The price is certainly high - but for us it was “price - value”!

Today I had baked goat cheese with wild herbs and as a main course veal chop with sage butter with rosemary potatoes and vegetables. Top taste and quality, like the appetizer (Parma ham and Vitello Tonato). The service was consistently attentive and friendly, which is extremely important to me for my well-being. The prices are high but reasonable. You sit very close to the next table, but I knew that in advance and was okay. Gladly again.

Ciriaco Amoroso is an outstanding restaurateur, a host of the old school. The service at Settimo Cielo is second to none and you feel welcome all evening long. The food is fantastic and worth every euro.

One of the few noble Italians where the price is not too high in relation to the quality. We had another wonderful evening with friends. We'd love to come back soon.

The waiter is biting his fingernails and a telephone is constantly ringing. To charge 8.50 for a water that I didn't order myself and that was poured to me without asking, of which I ultimately only drank half a glass, is outrageous.

It was great that we had different starters. They were all a delight. There is still room for improvement in the quality of Serano ham. But that wasn't so bad. The grilled beef fillet was on point and buttery tender. Because the side dish comes on a separate plate, not only is the table overcrowded, but what's even more annoying is that the plate with the steak looks very empty and desolate. It's a shame because, as we all know, the eye eats with us and either more "decoration" or the side dish is put on the plate. The dessert was also very tasty. We had, among other things, tiramisu which was a portion that would have been enough for two people. The wines were excellent and the service was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren mit einer Clique am an einem Samstag mit 6 Personen und man muss echt sagen, das ist noch ein Italiener vom alten Schlag. Was ich damit sagen will, es fängt schon bei der Begrüßung an, freundlich, nett, typisch italienisch und das wir plötzlich statt 8 nur 6 Personen waren, niente Problema, da werden schnell mal die Tische umgestellt und Zack wir saßen und hatten einen tollen Abend. Zum essen muss man sagen das der Gruß aus der Küche schon gutes erahnen lässt. Oliven Schinken und ein tolles Brot und dann kommt der Gruß Wow ... das war schon lecker. Ok es ist laut und es ist voll und es ist nicht günstig, aber typisch italienisch die Gastfreundschaft spürt man und der Service ist auf Zack. Wir waren begeistert und nicht das letzte mal dort. Parken ist nicht so einfach Frankfurt halt. Aber es ist echt ein Besuch wert. 5 Punkte vergebe ich selten aber hier sind sie gerechtfertigt.

The name is no exaggeration: For me, the "7th Heaven" is the best Italian in Frankfurt and far beyond. And this has been the case for over 25 years. The mix of cuisine, cellar, service and atmosphere is simply perfect. The menu is manageable, but everything is of top quality, and there are always worthwhile daily recommendations. The price level is reasonable and reasonable for Frankfurt city standards. Great wines - it's best to just ask the boss for bottles! Only the space on the tables could be a little more generous; There is hardly any space next to plates (side dishes come on a separate plate) and glasses. I usually make do with putting the flower decorations and cell phone on a windowsill or something similar. Furnishing/atmosphere: homely, familiar and without unnecessary run-of-the-mill modernism.

The food is great. But if you're not a regular here, you'll feel it. Italian cuisine is not rocket science and there is enough competition. But apparently you can easily afford that.

Top cuisine, but not reasonably priced. In terms of price, I would actually base it on two to three stars, so four stars with a lot of goodwill, since the greeting from the kitchen would be a whole appetizer somewhere else. The food is really very good, everyone out of four people was enthusiastic. However, the prices are generally too high for the location. Directly in front of the Alte Oper, as with the sister restaurant, I would say it fits. But in the north end it's just too expensive, even if the service was good and the food certainly deserved 5 stars. The waiting times mentioned by other reviews are correct, but with a good wine the food doesn't have to be there after 5 minutes, it's well coordinated. It's worth a visit, but don't be surprised about the bill :-)

Excellent restaurant, the dishes served are the same as in Italy

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for many years. Often with friends too. What comes out of the kitchen is always TOP, not just for the palate, but also for the eye. The tables are always decorated with high-quality table linen and flowers. Ciro, Karim & Co. always professional, sometimes with a joke or short small talk, but never intrusive. We will always come back. Keep it up 🤗 P.S. It should also be mentioned that the perfect lunch menu, with an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

IN SEVENTH HEAVEN???? More like in hell. Ordered pasta with truffles and it was tasteless, no flavour at all. Waiter gave me bread... hard to chew on, definetly not fresh. I also had some idk starters also no flavour at all except bruschetta because it was wet and do sour. Ham was salty. After all waiter didn't asked me if everything was good he just tłok my plates and left. Oliver were ok

All around first class! A top restaurant that offers loup de mer in salt coating, oysters, seafood salad without any frills or avocado salad with crayfish for lunch - that's something! Top in service & cuisine!

Sehr normales Essen für exklusive Preise. Wobei die Portionen groß sind, das muss man der Fairness halber hinzufügen. Das Ambiente in diesem Restaurant ist sehr schön, auch der Außenbereich ist nett gemacht. Ein edler Italiener, sowohl von der Einrichtung als auch von den Preisen her. Das Lachstatar mit Spargel als Vorspeise kostet stolze 29 €, der Avocado Salat mit Flusskrebsen als Vorspeise 19 €. Das Rinderfilet vom Grill liegt bei 40 €. Der Aperitif Kir Royal kostet 9 € für 0,1. Der Service ist aufmerksam und schnell, jedoch ein bisschen distanziert. Für besondere Anlässe kommen wir eigentlich gerne her, weil es so nett eingerichtet ist und die Atmosphäre von etwas Besonderem vermittelt. Und ja, wir wissen dass alles teurer wird. Aber jetzt werden wir so schnell nicht wiederkommen. Das Essen ist einfach zu teuer für das, wie es schmeckt. Vielleicht war der Chefkoch krank, aber beide Vorspeisen waren so gut wie nicht gewürzt oder irgendwie angemacht. Die Küche setzt anscheinend auf die Hervorhebung der natürlichen Aromen, was mir persönlich aber ziemlich reizlos erscheint. Gerade eine raffinierte Soße oder eine schöne Würzung macht für mich ein gutes Essen aus. Die Qualität der Speisen ist einwandfrei, auch die Garstufe des Steaks war wie gewünscht. Für den Preis erwarte ich aber einfach mehr Raffinesse. Ich finde auch die Größe der Vorspeisen unangemessen. Eigentlich ist das schon eine Hauptspeise, sowohl preislich als auch von der Menge her. Wogegen ja per se nichts auszusetzen ist, aber das könnte man auf der Karte entsprechend kennzeichnen.

Terrific! Yummy! Cozy! Friendly and warm! Not fake but authentic! That's why after "trying the menu" for the first time, we immediately decided "we're celebrating our wedding here"! Really a great restaurant. If you want to have a good time and treat yourself to something delicious, this is the right place for you.

Very tasty food and super friendly and professional service

Wealthy middle-class people who can afford the elegant “Seventh Heaven” live on Eckenheimer in the heart of the Nordend. The classic Italian cuisine is at a very good and solid level, without any frills or fancy presentation. The friendly and courteous service and the sophisticated decoration of the tables and rooms create a pleasant atmosphere for dignified evenings in the garden.

Excellent food and service! Be ready to eat a lot because they respect the “Italian” concept. The vibe is very local and has built a quite nice group of regulars. Not a cheap place, but definitely worth it!!!

Wir waren das erste Mal da; über einen Tipp von Kollegen. Anfahrt mit öffentlichen über Ausstieg an der Haltestelle Rohrbach, danach noch ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. Wir hatten per Mail reserviert. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Speisekarte liegt schon am Platz. Separate Weinkarte muss bestellt werden. Stammgäste werden bevorzugt behandelt. Die Bestuhlung ist schon sehr eng. Leider gab es eine andere Speisekarte als im Internet. Sehr viele Spargel Gerichte schon. Preise recht hochpreisig. Allerdings der Gruß aus der Küche schon sehr groß. Vorspeise und als Hauptgang Nudeln. Leider passte kein Dessert mehr.

We had dinner on Saturday at 12 p.m. with 13 people and a large dog: Perfect service, tastiest food, everything served to perfection! To begin with, there is a generously portioned greeting from the kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired, along with lots of crusty bread. All special requests were fulfilled without batting an eyelid. The service was attentive, quick and humorous. When it came out that a birthday child was there, the kitchen conjured up a large piece of cake with a fireworks fountain! The quality of the food is top! I won't go into detail now, all the dishes we ordered were first class, so delicious. The drinks (wine, prosecco, drinks, coffee) also left nothing to be desired. At the end we even offered a limoncello or amaretto on the house. And that even though the restaurant had officially been closed for an hour. In my opinion the prices are very reasonable for what is offered! We will be back!

Essen sehr lecker und gehobenen klasse. Servus sehr nett. Ambiente etwas dunkel .Preis Leistung gehobenen klasse. Nicht billig aber für Frankfurt und gutes Restaurant normal. Schlechte Parkplätze Geduld muß man mitbringen.

Durch die unzähligen positiven Rezensionen haben wir uns entschieden, das Settimo Cielo für ein sehr wichtiges Geschäftsessen auszuwählen. Wir hätten wirklich vieles erwartet, aber WOW! Wir waren wunschlos glücklich! Vom Vitello Tonnato, über Carpaccio, dem „Gruß aus der Küche, bis hin zur Trüffelpasta & zum Rinderfilet. Wer authentisch, mit schöner edlen Atmosphäre & zentral in Frankfurt essen möchte, MUSS das Settimo Cielo probieren!

Das Settimo Cielo ist zweifellos eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Die kulinarische Erfahrung, die man hier erlebt, ist einfach herausragend. Besonders der Fisch ist immer perfekt zubereitet und meiner Meinung nach der beste in der gesamten Stadt. Das Rinderfilet wird auf den Punkt gegart und die Trüffelnudeln sind schlichtweg sensationell. Egal, was man bestellt, die Gerichte sind stets köstlich. Was dieses Restaurant wirklich auszeichnet, ist jedoch nicht nur das erstklassige Essen, sondern auch der hervorragende Service. Schon bei der Begrüßung spürt man die herzliche Atmosphäre, die von Ciriaco und Karim geschaffen wird. Als besonderes Highlight werden den Gästen großzügig Vorspeisen mit italienischen Köstlichkeiten serviert - eine Geste, die man nicht oft erlebt. Das Settimo Cielo sollte definitiv als Vorbild für andere Restaurants dienen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man nicht nur exzellentes Essen genießen kann, sondern auch die Gastfreundschaft und die familiäre Atmosphäre schätzen lernt. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch

Unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Es gibt sehr viele gute Italiener in der Stadt. Das Settimo Cielo ist aber unsere unangefochtene Nummer 1. Wir gehen hier regelmäßig essen und sind noch niemals enttäuscht worden. Das Thunfischsteak immer auf dem Punkt, das Filetsteak großartig, die selbstgemachten Nudeln ein Traum. Mit viel guten Willen gerade noch 4 Sterne. Ambiente "ok", es ist recht eng im Restaurant und Details, die im einzelnen zwar nicht stören, ergeben in der Masse ein durchwachsenes Bild. Das Essen ist teilweise auf einem sehr guten Niveau, teilweise maximal Mittelfeld. Service insgesamt "gut". Anspruch und Leistung passen da m.E. leider nicht ganz zusammen.
