Spoiler: I only had the tiramisu. To their credit, it was made with eggs, but unfortunately, in my opinion, it was a bit too soft in consistency. The service was super friendly and nice.

Excellent Italian restaurant, very good dishes and friendly and kind owners! We stopped for dinner with our big dog and they even brought us a bowl for water! Recommended for dinner or lunch, even outdoors in the summer while visiting Frankfurt 😉

I had the finest pasta here, along with a delicious ice cream sundae and a tyramensu. The wine was excellent, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was welcoming to Italy.

Unfortunately, my pasta arrabiata was very overseasoned. The burrata it contained was only 1/8 of a whole burrata. €19 is a bit much for that. My friend's carbonara was unfortunately very dry. The service was very nice. A very loud restaurant, but otherwise the atmosphere was nice.

The parm truffle pasta was wow and the service felt like family

Not bad, the atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, the prices are a bit higher, the restaurant itself is rustically decorated and pleasant.

It was a wonderful experience! My first time at Longobardi's. We had dinner there in a small group with good company. And that's exactly what I liked. Have you ever noticed that no matter where you go, everyone starts taking photos of their food and posting for Instagram and the like? That's absolutely not the case there – a wonderful crowd – the guests are serious, not a Gen Z crowd. The authenticity is reflected in Longobardi's cuisine. I haven't had such a delicious demi-glace in a long time, like the one the surf 'n turf was served with, not to mention the pistachio and burrata combinations. The pinsa had a flavor that reminded you of your vacation in Italy; it was truly heavenly. The dessert was amazing! Not too sweet and not too pretentious, simply perfect, and FINALLY, an espresso that didn't taste burnt. Yes, actually, it's worth mentioning for me – they make really great espresso. I can truly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic food in peace and quiet. I'm always happy to go to Longobardi's. A.M.

The restaurant is located right at the river, with indoors and outdoors seating. We ordered a pistachio burrata pasta, the pasta was really good. And also a pizza to share. 5/5 for food and kind service.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace and friendly service. On our Saturday evening, there were just too many people there, and the waiting groups sang serenades very loudly. The prices are reasonable for the location; we also brought Aperol and wine.

The pinsa pasta was very good. The tagliatelle pistacchio was okay, but could have had a much stronger pistachio flavor.

I really enjoy Italian food, and since I'm often in Italy, I have certain standards for the dishes: The carbonara was very authentic, the pinsa pasta was very light and easy to digest (the dough had been left to rest long enough), and the buratta with pistachios was also unusual and delicious. I'd love to come back...❤️

I am absolutely satisfied with the service! I would particularly like to emphasize Can's friendliness and attentiveness - he really served us excellently and was always courteous and warm. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great: cozy, stylish and inviting. And the food? Simply delicious! I'm very happy that we were served by Can - it makes visiting a restaurant really fun. Clear recommendation!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There are several reasons for this. It took 1.5 hours from ordering to serving. Two of the dishes were lukewarm (salmon and pasta). The wine and beer weren't cold enough. The taste of the food was ok. You had to add salt and pepper. However, that is a matter of taste. In general the taste of the food was not good. There were 10 of us and therefore the statement is quite valid. Whether it was the Vitello Tonnato, the Pasta Carbonara or the Pinsen. Everything was lacking in good taste. The rating was very misleading. The service also had to be reminded several times about drinks or food. Something was forgotten several times. The evening was still nice. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Best pizza and tiramisu I have ever eaten. Definitely must try Longobardis Pizza something very different and Catello very nice and warm guy! Thanks definitely will come again.

It took them more than a hour to serve the first courses. Size of portions is not worthy (the spcieal two person first course mix charged for almost 30 euro, was not enough even for one person). Bottom line: STAY AWAY...!

Best beef fillet with truffles and pasta! Great value for money

Long waiting time. Plates not picked up. Smoke throughout the place. Windows had to stay open even though it was cold outside. Food absolutely nothing special. Preferably avoid.

We reserved a table at 7:30 p.m., we received the food 1 hour 30 minutes later, most of the restaurant's customers complained of the same problem, "I want to see the chef we have been waiting for 1 hour", the manager accepts a lot of customers but is not able to satisfy their needs, apart from that, the waitress was very understanding of the situation and brought us bread to help us "pass" the time which seemed endless. Very unpleasant experience I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

The portions of the pasta were really tiny - especially if you had to wait an hour before anything to eat came. The service was just head-scratching: the store was full, but there were only two waitresses. And the waiter, a guy who didn't have a device or a notepad with him - he probably thought he could remember everything. Unfortunately it didn't work at all. I really don't understand why this store has such good reviews.

There were five of us there and we had a really nice Saturday evening. The food was great - you can taste that the noodles are homemade, and the pinsa was really tasty too. The waiters were really nice and cool. Definitely coming back. 🥂🍾

very good.. I ended up here by chance and I was served like a god.. really good starter, first course, second course and dessert, better than in Italy especially for the quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dish.. then the owner (Lello) who went around the tables very courteous and attentive to the customer.. really kind and very nice.. in our group there were also a couple of intolerances and they catered to all our dietary needs.. top 5 stars out of 5😉

The food is delicious and not expensive. The price for 4 adults and 1 teenager was 145 euros. A 5 euro tip for the friendly staff and excellent meal. It's not a waste.

I love this restaurant ♥️ The service is always very committed, friendly and funny. The food always tastes good. The only thing I would optimize is the seafood pasta, but I have very high standards that are rarely met.

I became aware of longobardis through the b my Frankfurt campaign and they deserve a great review. The service was a bit chaotic, but the food was incredibly tasty, the homemade pasta was absolutely great and the meat was to die for. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to eat high quality and delicious food.

This restaurant might not have the glitzy reputation that some others in Frankfurt do, but in my eyes, it will always be a place that holds a piece of my heart. If you're ever in the area, don't overlook it. The food is far too underrated, and the ambiance is just the right setting for any special moment.

Everything is perfect and delicious

Okay, but nothing special, not worth coming back to. The waitress was very pushy. Didn't even give us 2 minutes to look at the menu. When we said we needed more time, she asked again after 3 minutes and then again. I didn't have many truffles in the pasta (like Ms. 3 months ago in the reviews), so I used “the legend”. But I can't say the pasta was bad, but I can't say it was tasty either. In addition, the boss (I think he is the boss there) and the employees clarified something loudly for 5 minutes, which was disturbing.

I was in Bingen am Rhein as part of a training course. I stayed there at the weekend because it wasn't worth going to Bavaria. As a hobby photographer, I thought of visiting Frankfurt to take night/long exposures. That's how I came to this amazing restaurant. The landlord was very nice, and the waitresses were even nicer. Since I can't eat that much, I was promptly offered to pack the rest. If I come to Frankfurt again, I know where I will park and where I will 100% go to eat. Price performance more than tip top.

We went to the Longobardi restaurant for the first time on our wedding anniversary. It was really a very nice, relaxed visit to the restaurant... we had thought of a slightly larger location based on pictures and advertising, but that was irrelevant - because it was there to feel good. The lady in the waiter took care of us directly and was super attentive... the boss also came to the table and asked how things were going. Authentic Italian cuisine. My steak was perfectly cooked and wonderfully tender. And the “Dubai” profiteroles (with pistachio cream) were very tasty. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately it took a long time until we could order and then the drinks and dishes arrived. Unfortunately, the steaks were all cooked to the wrong level. But when they arrived at the right level of doneness, it was delicious.

Reserved online and received a confirmation when you arrived a day later, it is claimed that the reservation was canceled and a phone call was also made. I haven't received a call or an email. We were looking forward to it.

We made a reservation 10 days in advance for 8 PM. Arrived at 7.55 PM and were told rudely we had to wait in the lobby of the adjoining hotel. I told I had a reservation and was snapped ‘can’t you see it’s full and that there’s no table’. We went to the lobby, waited without a drink or anything for 25 minutes. Nobody came so we left and had dinner somewhere else. Space seemed very full and loud so maybe not bad that we didn’t have dinner there. Never had such a bad service and was treated with such rudeness.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. Food came to the table after an hour. I had ordered the Paccheri Mare e Monti, the menu said shrimp - instead I only got five tiny shrimp on the plate. This feels like a deception, especially given the price. The taste of the dish was okay, but definitely not what I expected. Service was average, but not particularly trying. There are definitely better alternatives for what is offered here.

Absolutely outstanding! This restaurant is just amazing! The service was not only friendly, but also extremely attentive - so you really feel welcome. The food? Simply TOP, TOP, TOP, TOP! Every bite was a delight, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. You can immediately tell that people cook with passion here. The service was also absolutely great – fast, professional and with a smile. The price-performance ratio is more than fair for this quality. If you don't eat here, you're definitely missing out! Unreserved recommendation!

Antipasti great, pinsa great and great desert!

Had dinner for my son's birthday. The pizza and spaghetti were delicious! I also emailed a request for a small cake service to celebrate my son's birthday, and I was so happy when they gave me a surprise event with a delicious cake, candles, and music! I really liked the kindness and diligence of the service!

Hoping to have a nice evening, we were unfortunately disappointed. On the one hand, we didn't like the food and on the other hand, we were still hungry after the main course. I don't think this is right considering the prices. The fact that a bottle of wine is simply placed on the table without being served is also not okay given the price level. Unfortunately, the ambience isn't great either, especially if you're seated near the entrance door. Unfortunately there is no restaurant for us to “come back” to.

We couldn't start the year 2025 more beautifully, better, or more tastefully! The menu was a real culinary delight. Great choice! For Frankfurt the price/performance ratio was unbeatable! A warning in advance, we'll be back! Kind regards, Olli

We dined here new years eve and everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was fantastic. The Longobardis pasta trio was exceptionally delicious. Highly recommend!

Good Italian restaurant. The two of us had lunch and drinks during the week after we had previously reserved a table. The food was very good, homemade and came very quickly. The staff was friendly. A second set of cutlery wasn't on our table from the start, but we got it. The food selection is good. There are typical Italian starters and main courses and a variety of desserts to choose from. There is pasta and pinsa, but also meat and fish dishes as well as antipasti, salads and dessert. There are also vegetarian dishes and salads. The prices are rather more expensive. However, according to the menu, the pasta was homemade and the food tasted good. :-) I mean we weren't made aware of the lunch specials, but we also had a good selection of good dishes. Unfortunately, the vegetarian/vegan dishes are not labeled as such, which is what I would like. A parking garage can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, as can a subway stop. Card payment and cash payment were possible. It's worth a visit :-)

The restaurant itself is visually OK. Unfortunately very small portions, taste quite ok. Unfortunately service was a bit overwhelmed. New beer only after 20 minutes.

Since we can't fully explain the many great reviews, here's our impression: the restaurant is beautifully located but the interior is already showing some signs of wear. The pinsa was almost bathed in oil, the noodles were ok. The waiter and bartender argue all the time. No charm, food below average, we won't be back.

I visited Longobardis on December 6th and was really impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and lively. The food was simply fantastic! The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and quick and made sure we felt comfortable. Overall it was a wonderful evening and I can highly recommend Longobardis! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The best Italian in Frankfurt that I know. The food is to die for. You can taste that the ingredients are selected with care and combined with a lot of love and skill. Lello and his team are always very warm and we feel completely comfortable and well looked after every time we visit.

After a very tasty lunch and a very nice time here, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Very family and friendly atmosphere, especially the music was very vibey and pleasant. The festive Christmas decorations also created a nice atmosphere. The fresh pasta seemed very creamy and tasty. The pinsa I had was also super tasty and very well topped. It was just really oily, but of course still super delicious - and not a deal breaker for me.

Located close to the city center at one of the bridges over the Main River. Small but cozy inside with a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic team, very friendly and fun, great organized, despite of a very full space. Food outstanding: we had Caprese, Insalata Sophia, and Pinsa Campagnola. It was one of the best Italian dinner ever, for a good price. Must do!

Great service, food with good, solid Italian cuisine, the atmosphere on the outdoor terrace is certainly great in summer (unfortunately it was raining and 10 degrees too cold)

We were completely surprised at how big the room was. The division is brilliantly thought out. The view of the Main is sensational. But what we liked best was the staff. Very accommodating and incredibly nice. We particularly liked the small Italian restaurant. We stayed at the NH Collection Hotel during the day. Since my daughter is vegan and has problems when she eats onions, they didn't manage to organize a decent meal for my daughter. No problem at the restaurant within the Flag. After we explained the situation, a special main course was prepared for my daughter according to her wishes, off the menu. It was super tasty, we have rarely experienced anything like it. The tenant is a treasure. (By the way, your portion was also much larger than mine)
