Trattoria Rustica in Frankfurt am Main

We ate at "Bett" before a concert. The online reservation and subsequent phone call to change everything went smoothly. The tuna tartare with avocado and truffle pasta was excellent. The halibut could have been a bit spicier, but it was also very well cooked and delicious. The drinks took a little too long, but it was also very busy. A selection of higher-quality wines would be great. But we'll definitely be back... the price-performance ratio is excellent!

The restaurant was very busy 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, which impressively underlines its popularity. Only the parking situation 🚗 is somewhat limited, but can be easily resolved with a little patience. Overall, an excellent restaurant that I can recommend without reservation...we'll be back.

If I could, I would give it 6 stars! The food is truly excellent. High quality, skillfully prepared, and simply delicious. The seating is pleasant, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are also more than reasonable. We left satisfied and would gladly come back!

The menu consists of 90% meat and fish, and the salad and side vegetables were very oily. Unfortunately, they don't serve pizza (anymore), even though it's still pictured on the website. It wasn't my taste.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The fish and pasta, in particular, are always excellent, and we love the delicious bread basket that greets our guests. The servers are very attentive, the setting is beautifully laid out, and the place isn't too crowded. We would definitely recommend it.

We are absolutely thrilled. The food was very good and the service was fantastic! I was here with my three children, and I've never experienced such child-friendly service. All of the children's special requests were fulfilled immediately. My youngest even got a quick peek into the kitchen with the waitress and met the chef. And after the meal, there was a surprise for each child. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat real Italian, go to this restaurant. Luca and his team will give you a warm welcome. Here you are still treated as a welcome guest. If you choose fish, you know, it is really fresh here. And .... insanely delicious. A great wine list and all for a friendly price. What more could you want. Don't be put off by the fact that it is not in the center!

Delicious pizza, loved the olive oil

We went to eat beef fillet with truffles yesterday. The food was really great, very tasty! We'd go back anytime! But ☝️: the service was pretty overwhelmed with around 30 guests. We waited over an hour for our food and the drinks didn't come right up either! Our dish was advertised on the menu as vegetables and baked potatoes, but we got tagliatelle as a side dish. These were homemade and also very tasty, but we weren't informed in advance about the change in side dishes! It's a shame, because the waiting times make you think twice about visiting this great restaurant more often. It's on the main road and the surrounding area isn't exactly the prettiest.

A wonderful experience – highly recommended! We absolutely loved everything – from the moment we sat down to the moment we left after dinner. It was a very pleasant and cozy place throughout. I would especially like to mention the incredibly friendly and attentive waiter. When I explained to him that I have a meat allergy, he listened very carefully, took notes, and served me a fantastic, super-tasty pasta dish. The pizza was also delicious – everything fresh, prepared with care and love. The prices were very fair – actually, cheaper than we expected. Honestly, they could easily charge more, because the total package of good food and a lovely atmosphere is worth every cent.

Everything was great, it was a Friday lunchtime, I went over spontaneously, got a table and everything was great from the service to the food.

It looks completely unassuming from the outside, but it's a hidden gem, so make a reservation. Addendum: We've been there several times now, including with friends. The enthusiasm is still huge. If you like fish and want it at a very fair price, you should definitely stop by. They also serve pizza and pasta, which are equally delicious and highly recommended. The regularly changing specials alongside the basic menu are particularly nice, so there's always something new to discover.

Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig und für jeden ist was von Pizza über Pasta, Fleisch, Salat dabei. Es gibt eine sehr leckere außergewöhnliche Tageskarte. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist toll. Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ein toller Abend. Gestern (April 2025) haben wir erstmals liefern lassen. Die Pizza war sehr gut und die Nudeln waren super cremig. Immer wieder gerne.

At Trattoria Rustica you get high-quality food. My favorites were definitely the seafood. Although the prices are on the higher side, I would definitely recommend the restaurant. The cocktails were also very tasty. The entire team was extremely friendly and accommodating. I will come back as soon as possible!

We survived the Corona period really well. Pizza and also pasta. Still excellent. Unfortunately I don't eat fish because it looks really good. You can really say it's a little insider tip in GALLUS. Price-performance ratio is completely fine.

We had Antipasto misto di pesce as a starter, Pesce misto alla griglia as a main course and Pannacotta alla frutta di bosco as dessert. The quality was very good and everything was freshly prepared. The service is very attentive, friendly and professional. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren als Gruppe mit 22 Personen zu unserer Teamjahresfeier in der Trattoria. Eine Herausforderung für das kleine Restaurant, jedoch bestens gelöst: Unkomplizierte Abstimmung per mail, verbindlich und sehr individuell an unserem Bedarf orientiert: Gemischte Vorspeise für alle (auch vegetarisch) danach à la carte. Herzliche Begrüßung durch den Chef, aufmerksamer Service und eine hervorragende Qualität der Speisen. Egal ob Fischspezialitäten (frisch zubereitet) oder hausgemachte Pasta, mega lecker. Das gilt auch für die Nachspeisen! Ein klassischer "Italiener", etwas versteckt im Gallus, aber schnell von der Innenstadt mit der Straßenbahn 11/21 erreichbar. Der Weg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall - wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder!

A great Italian, great owner/boss who personally takes care of the guests with his crew. Drank the recommended white wine, perfect. Great meal, I had a calamari + octopus from the grill, simply delicious. First a tuna tartare on avocado. The bread, the friendliness, what can I say, a great experience. Was there 3 times in a row. We have gone several times: the TUNA TARTARE is supreme... alone it is worth the 5 stars. It's excellent. Fresh tuna served at room temperature. The tartare is spread over two levels, a base of diced avocado and tuna on top. Exquisite, not to be missed. Another truly exceptional dish is the mixed antipasto. Raw materials of the highest level: ciauscolo, excellent ham, a sublime pecorino and a very rare liver salami. All highly sought after regional Italian specialities. Impeccable service. Simply great, I never expected such a good restaurant here. The service was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. What particularly impressed me were the cloth napkins. We only came here for a quick visit out of curiosity but we'll definitely be back. As of October 29, 2024 It's simply a high standard in the store. You are greeted warmly, given a table and then you have time to look at the menu. When choosing, you will be advised but nothing will be talked into you. It's just a pleasure to be here. The food is of a high standard and tastes excellent. We had the tuna tartare and the mixed fish grill plate. Both highly recommended.

We stumbled on this place during a one night stay in Frankfurt. It is a gem. The place has a neighborhood feel to it and the pizza and pasta (we got spaghetti bolognese) were so good. Highly recommend! The cheesecake was fluffy and light and obviously homemade. We loved our fun night in Frankfurt at this darling and delicious spot! The staff were so kind and helpful too!

After we had been guests in the restaurant several times, we decided to host our wedding dinner (civil wedding) with around 25 guests in the Trattoria Rustica. Communication by email was uncomplicated and very fast and Ms. and Mr. Romagnoli supported us with their experience in the detailed planning (selection of menu, wines, table arrangement, flower decoration). Special requests such as vegetarian, vegan dishes and allergies are taken into account very well and flexibly. We really enjoyed the evening. Not only were we thrilled, but our guests were also very happy with the food and, last but not least, the service. Attention was paid to every detail, such as ensuring that every guest received the right cutlery for fish/meat without asking, even with this number of guests. This, among other things, remains in the memory. We are very happy that we hosted the celebration with Mrs. and Mr. Romagnoli and can warmly and unreservedly recommend the restaurant.

The highlight here for me was the service: so attentive, friendly and a joy to work with that you rarely see! Unfortunately, the food was just average and the red wine was way too warm.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Italian dishes, from classic pasta dishes to delicious pizzas and excellent meat and fish dishes. Everything is freshly prepared and of the highest quality. I would particularly like to highlight Antipasto Misto di Pesce which was to die for! The service also deserves the highest praise. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. The waiter's recommendations rounded off our evening perfectly. All in all, I can highly recommend the restaurant. Whether for a romantic dinner for two, a cozy evening with friends or a special celebration - you are guaranteed not to be disappointed here. Pizza tasted good. But my tortellini alla panna to take away was very dry and almost without cream sauce and cheese and that for 11 euros!?!?! Then there is the fact that for a bottle of still water of 500ml or a maximum of 750ml it costs 6 euros!!! A scoop of vanilla ice cream for 2.50 euros, but of course it was asked and presented in such a way that it was on the house or on the pizzeria these costs and not on the customer's bill.....in the end I paid for it as a customer! !! Ultimately, I was tricked or taken for a ride by the staff for the second time when I was personally asked by the boss whether he could offer dessert/dessert or ice cream scoop or espresso after the meal...I assumed that and have known it that way for 40 years that if the boss of a restaurant, a pub, a pizzeria or something similar asks you this question and offers it, it is of course on the house or free of charge for the guest and is not added to the bill...a real outrage !!! I'll never go to this Pizzeria Rustica again...I won't let myself be taken for a ride and ripped off professionally for a third time!!! The first time I turned a blind eye and didn't complain, but that seems to be a systematic way of dealing with guests... ripping off AND ripping off, NO THANK YOU!!! There are better pizzerias in Frankfurt am Man, also in Frankfurt-Gallus... SORRY but I can NOT recommend this pizzeria!!!! You fool a guest once, maybe a second time.....but there certainly won't be a third time and the owner of this pizzeria can eat his pizzas and pasta alone!!!!!

We enjoyed it very much, I had a pizza with homemade pesto, spicy Italian salami and buffalo mozzarella, you don't get something like that in every pizzeria, I can highly recommend it. A really good but inconspicuous restaurant. The food was really good (my tablemates' food also looked excellent). The ambience isn't quite as fantastic due to the location, but it's okay. The prices were sometimes very generous, but you can also enjoy simple dishes at moderate prices. All in all worth recommending.

"See the good is so close!" Although we have lived in Griesheim for so long, we were guests for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. Competent and friendly advice, courteous and very attentive service and exceptionally good cuisine. From the homemade pasta with bacon, porcini mushrooms and pecorino to the grilled pulp and calamari and Fritto Misto di Mare - simply delicious! I have rarely eaten such good Italian food, compliments!

We were here with a large group, so it's normal to have to wait a little. But we were the last in our group and it took 40 minutes until we had our first drink in front of us. That's far too long. But the boss and the conditions were very friendly, the food was good and for Frankfurt it was really good value for money. So the evening was still a success.
