Why can't you pay with a card in 2025? You have to have cash. You should move with the times a bit. Unfortunately the food I ordered was 3/5⭐️. I had curry noodles with chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was fried for too long and was therefore very dry and hard. Unfortunately it wasn't worth it today.
Ich war bereits mehrfach in diesem Lokal und habe das Essen sowie den Service bisher geschätzt. Doch mein letzter Besuch war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Aufgrund des hohen Andrangs musste ich meinen Platz für eine Person mit Behinderung räumen – was ich selbstverständlich verstehe und respektiere und in anderen Situationen mehrfach gemacht habe. Allerdings wurde mir anschließend ein völlig unzumutbarer Tisch angeboten, was den Eindruck hinterließ, dass Stammgäste hier wenig Wertschätzung erfahren.
Hinzu kommt, dass die Bedienung – insbesondere für ein italienisches Restaurant – alles andere als aufmerksam war. Bei so viel Trubel sollte man erwarten, dass das Personal professionell reagiert und für alle Gäste eine faire Lösung findet. Leider war das nicht der Fall.
Ich hoffe, dass das Lokal künftig mehr auf seine Gäste eingeht und für solche Situationen bessere Lösungen parat hat.
Casa Mia used to have five stars in three categories for me. Things are completely different after the change of operator. The greeting was: Cash payment only... You don't always have that much cash with you. The dining room was cold. When I got to the table I didn't need a menu. The tablecloth showed some dishes in different colors. The cutlery matched it. Simply disgusting. That's it. If the tablecloth looks like that, I don't want to look into the kitchen.
Addendum March 2025:
We ate here several times in 2024/2025. I usually ordered a pizza, almost always the same. There are also two delicious oils (garlic herb oil and chili oil).
On February 28th I had dinner here with two friends. It was very crowded and unpleasantly loud. All three of us ordered a pizza (mainly because I had previously praised the pizza). And then the disappointment: My pizza wasn't baked through and wasn't even remotely round in shape. There was no topping on one side, the other side had too much. There were no sauces either.
Nobody came to the table to ask if we were happy. When we wanted to pay I mentioned that my pizza wasn't ok (there was still 80% of it on my plate). The waiter said he was sorry and would pass it on. Nothing more happened.
There was no discount on the pizza or a reasonable apology. Something like that can always happen. But then you should respond appropriately.
In any case, they lost me as a customer.
I went to dinner here with my parents 30 years ago. At the time it was one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.
I recently had a spontaneous meal there again for a very long time. The owner will be different now, and I think the shop was just called “Arcinos” back then.
The food was still very good. There are various pizza and pasta dishes, as well as a seasonal menu.
We had pizza, risotto and a meat dish and were happy with everything. The staff was very friendly.
The restaurant was well attended. We had reserved a table. At first we stood in the restaurant for ages until the landlord, after speaking to us several times, allowed us to show us the place.
The landlord was annoyed and had little patience when ordering.
The crowning moment was the reckoning.
There was half a liter of wine too much on the bill, which we complained about. He only reimbursed us half with the words "don't you know what you drank." No apology, just blaming colleagues.
In order to avoid an escalation, we left it at that.
CONCLUSION: Service is terrible
