Staff 10/10 and food was also amazing

I ordered pizza and got pasta. The waitress insisted that I had ordered wrong - after all, she didn't make such mistakes. A huge portion of self-confidence that is unfortunately misplaced here. No accomodation whatsoever. Instead, in her opinion, I should order another pizza but pay for the pasta. More than annoying and really rude.

The pasta was over-salted with a greasy and tasteless sauce. I take Arabiatta all the time and this wasn't it. The establishment does not accept cards, even those worth 11 euros

AN ABSOLUTE NO GO I would prefer to give 0 stars. Order by phone to a hotel with room number, the pizza doesn't arrive cut. It's great that I have a pizza knife in my travel bag. And after you call and complain you get a stupid statement like what should I do now. Super unfriendly. They hardly speak any German and try to offer a delivery service. The driver has no change of money. Pizza tastes terrible!!!! Never again!!!

There were three of us. The first one got her food quickly, the other two had to wait 35 minutes longer... there were also two chain smokers and a woman with an incessantly barking dog sitting next to us! The food was good but it wasn't worth it!

Good and affordable. We all took schnitzels, the schnitzels included both optional potato side dishes and a salad. A lot of food, most of the party couldn't bear to eat it all. Great flavors and quality of the food even though it's cheap! Good service, our waiter was very nice and checked on us often. The outdoor seating was not the coziest, a little cramped tables and crowded between the tables, and open to the pedestrian street. But if you are looking for good food, this is a good choice! Clearly exceeded expectations.

So we were there today with 7 people The service was great and thought of everything. The food was an absolute dream, very tasty, not just for me, for everyone. The portions were very large and if you didn't finish everything you could take the leftovers home with you. Absolutely recommended and we would be happy to come back.

Donatello has never disappointed me and I've been eating/ordering there for years! :) It happened: Bolognese was ordered and the brocolli still tasted great :D

An absolutely recommended restaurant. After they didn't want to serve us in the neighborhood, we decided on this small restaurant. The food was great, the service was friendly. But if you want to eat in peace: on the day you visited it was very loud and at times reminded you of a canteen! But this is owed to the guests and not the operators!

We ate calamari, shrimp pasta and Neapolitan pizza. It was plentiful and very delicious. When asked, they stated that they used olive oil. The price and cleanliness are very good. I recommend...

Unfortunately I was disappointed.. Pizza was recut, the holondaise ordered with it was very bulky, pizza was very limp.. We ordered for over €50 and will avoid this restaurant for now. It seems to us as if it is becoming more and more expensive and the quality is getting worse and worse.

The restaurant is small, but as they say, “small but nice”. Friendly staff. The taste was really divine and the food came very quickly. The pasta we had was all delicious and the pizza was also really good. There's definitely nothing wrong with the price, we didn't pay €100 for 6 people. (One dish and one drink each). Definitely recommended!

Very tasty noodles. The portion is always too big, so we like to take the rest home with us. The only disadvantage: no card payment.

Catastrophe! Today we wanted to break our fast. We had reserved for 6 people, but two more came spontaneously. We couldn't take a chair because that would take up space for someone else, which is of course understandable. But we would still have fit in with 8 people where we were sitting. It was then said that the other two people would not be able to get any food. They didn't even bother to accommodate us somehow. We were all fasting and would have thought that people would treat their customers differently. At the end we went out and we were greeted with disparaging looks as if we were in a cinema or something. We were warmly welcomed in another shop nearby. I'll never go to Donatello again! Not recommendable! Definitely not.

Please wash your hands after using the toilet next time, dear staff :)

Very tasty food. Staff questionable. Instead of clearing away the empty plates after eating, you'd rather stand around and stare into space. These were only put away after we put them on the neighboring table. It wasn't full but you can't remember one drink. And when you ask nicely if you can pay, a stupid saying comes up and that's it, no one was informed that you wanted to pay. Food is good, but you don't have to have it that way

Italian restaurant in the city center. The service is simple, nothing more. The quantity of dishes is really good, we eat for our money. However, too bad about forgetting an ingredient on the pizza... and only paying in cash...

Tasty, hearty and cozy - highly recommended - and the prices are right!!!

The food is delicious, the service is sometimes better, sometimes worse. But the drinks are a joke. You never get anything in a bottle, only in a glass. The water is actually tap water.

Delicious, drive an extra 45 minutes for these noodles. Unfortunately it's too tasty because it's not available here and the food isn't delivered either.

The kitchen closes at 10:30 p.m., was there at 10:25 p.m. and they say the kitchen is closed. We called beforehand to make sure it was worth it since we were driving from Cologne. Completely rude, except the twins apologized very sympathetically.

This delivery service saved me from all the bad ones. Came extremely quickly, pizza that wasn't greasy, but had a pleasantly thin base with a crisp edge (although it could have been a little softer), delicious cheese sticks and a fresh salad. They even took into account my requests for what I didn't want in the salad. Really great, I finally found one I can order from 👍

Viele Pizzas bestellt und alle waren zu salzig, nur 1 war nicht verbrannt, okey im Holzofen muss es ein wenig schwarz werden aber bei uns war es zu viel, sonst lieferung war schnell und freundlich

Gutes Essen, nettes Personal. Kurze Wartezeit auf das Essen. Kleiner Minuspunkt da man nicht mit der EC Karte bezahlen kann. Aber sonst alles super.

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant für vier Personen hier eingekehrt. Vorweg das wichtigste, das Essen ist sehr lecker! Wir gönnten uns von 🥗 über Pizza, Spaghetti bis zur Combinazione eine kleine Auswahl. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung! Einrichtung eher für den modernen Typ, weniger für einen romantischen Abend ;) Ein Stern Abzug bei der Gesamtnote, da leider auch bei höheren Beträgen keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist.

Die Nudeln waren einfach köstlich! Hervorragender Geschmack und perfekte Konsistenz. Ein wahres Genusserlebnis, das meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Immer wieder lecker bei Donatello. Essen ist in der Regel nur wirklich sehr gut gesalzen, für meinen Geschmack gut, aber wenn ihr das nicht mögt, sagt es lieber bei der Bestellung ;) Ansonsten nette Kellnerinnen. Nur Barzahlung möglich.

Absolut empfehlenswert, die Pizza ist der Hammer, ist mit eine der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. heiß, frisch, knusprig, Fahrer überpünktlich und freundlich, jederzeit gerne wieder. Behaltet das bei, wäre super, bis zum nächsten Mal

Das Essen ist immer wieder super lecker, ich gehe sehr gerne bei Donatello essen. Leider ist es teilweise gefühlt ein abfertigen, weil neue Kunden schon im Restaurant warten und diese stehen dann oftmals mit dem Rücken direkt an dem Tisch wo man gerade isst. Das Restaurant ist leider etwas klein, wodurch so etwas nicht so gut verhindert werden kann.

Guter und günstiger Mittagstisch

Der Hingucker hier ist der Steinofen. Der liefert knusprige, heiße, dünn ausgerollte Pizzen, die vom Ofen leben. Das ist ein bisschen Schade, weil mit einem verbesserten Teig hier ohne Weiteres DER Geheimtipp für Wuppertaler Pizza stehen könnte. Das merkt man spätestens auch bei den Pizzabrötchen, die in einer für den Preis angemessenen Portion und mit einem großzügigen Schälchen Ajoli kommen, die mit einer harten Zitronensäure wiederrum an die Grenze zum Überwürzten gehen. Die Brötchen sind aber leider zäh, was für einen zu kurz geruhten, bzw. zu wenig gegangenen, Teig spricht. Dadurch wird der Teig dem Ofen leider nicht gerecht, was mit einem besseren Rezept aber schnell zu beheben wäre. So bleibt eine Imbisspizza, die völlig in Ordnung ist und ein Laden, der ein super freundliches, schnelles Serviceteam hat.

Immer lecker, immer freundlich aber nur bar. Portionen sind üppig. Leider ist wenig Platz aber normalerweise wird immer Recht schnell wieder ein Platz frei. Ich gehe seit knapp 12 Jahren immer wieder gern hier her.

Finde den Laden gut aber leider war keine Karten Zahlung möglich

Wir waren zu zweit heute spontan im Donatello. Uns wurde schnell die Option zwischen 3 Tischen gegeben und schnell die Bestellung aufgenommen. Die Getränke kamen schnell und auch das Essen kam schnell auf den Tisch. Die Pizzen sind definitiv groß und gingen über den Teller hinaus und waren sehr lecker. Die Reste konnten wir problemlos mitnehmen. Wir haben das Personal als sehr aufmerksam und freundlich erlebt und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Preislich war die Pizza top. Getränke nicht günstig aber immer noch im Restaurant-Preis Rahmen. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Besuch. Achtung: keine Kartenzahlung möglich. PS: irgendjemand hatte als wir dort waren eine Große Vorliebe für Ed Sheeran Songs :D- ich glaube während unseres gesamten Besuchs lief nicht ein anderer Künstler ( manche Songs kamen sogar 2x :D)

Lecker. Billig. Leider werden Heizkosten gespart und man muss im Winter in Jacke essen. Ausserdem zahlt der Besitzer nicht so gerne steuern: Zahlung nur in Bar! So hält er wahrscheinlich die niedrigen Preise

Generell sind die Preise super und ich habe selten Pizza oder Nudeln für so günstige Preise bekommen. Das Essen war schnell da und unglaublich lecker. Die Portion war riesig und das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Дуже смачні та великі порції. Але про це не вказано в меню. Привітний персонал, та швидке обслуговування. Ціни достатньо низькі і можна сказати відповідають якості. На двох брали піцу та по супу. Піцу навіть не доїли та забрали з собою, а порція супу (грибного) була величезна. Але страви звичайні як для кафе. Нічого більшого не очікуйте. Взагалі сподобалось і можна буде прийти ще раз на піцу.

Wegen der vielen positiven Bewertungen sind wir dort eingekehrt und haben beide Spaghetti alio e olio bestellt. Nach 15 Minuten standen sie auf dem Tisch. Zwei riesige Portionen und wir hatten richtig Hunger. Aber dann: Maggi in der Pasta? Kann nicht sein. Als die freundliche Bedienung unsere recht vollen Teller sah, bot sie uns an, gerne etwas anderes bestellen zu können. Wir haben das getan und von ihr erfahren, dass der Koch diese Pasta mit Fondor würzt. "Dio mio", das gehört definitiv nicht in eine Pasta alio e olio! Also lieber Herr Koch, lassen Sie das Fondor künftig bloß weg!
