We visited this restaurant for the first time today. Italian flair at its finest! I've never been served with such Italian hospitality in Grömitz. The food was delicious, and the service was 10 out of 10. Gracie

Unfortunately, the service was in a bad mood, even though there wasn't much to do, and it was clearly noticeable. Overall, the food didn't impress me: The spaghetti carbonara was too greasy for my taste, and the lasagna lacked any Italian flair. The appetizer also consisted of just a small, dry bread roll coated in a lot of oil. In general, I found the dishes too greasy. The food also arrived extremely quickly, taking less than ten minutes, which gave me the impression of something warmed up rather than freshly prepared. Another negative point: Only Girocard/EC cards were accepted for payment, not credit cards like Visa. Overall, it was unfortunately not a good experience, so I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

I can't recommend it! The server was in a terrible mood, and it showed. The carbonara came quickly (less than 10 minutes), but with cream and far too much oil, giving you stomach aches. And for the price, it's not an authentic dish.

A fantastic evening in a wonderful atmosphere! We were here again with the family of four. We had bruschetta and a variety of pizzas. Luna Rossa is a fantastic restaurant with truly attentive service and great food! All the guests we saw left with a satisfied smile. And the food was delicious; the extra garlic and chili oils for refining it are fantastic! What's special: The value for money is fantastic! An absolute family recommendation for anyone who can live without the view of the water for a few minutes! Thanks to a tip from friends, we were rewarded with a fantastic, super tasty, and inexpensive meal. Highly recommended!

Small but cozy Italian restaurant on the first floor. The decor is older, but somehow cozy and inviting. Unfortunately, our table was a bit cramped for five people. The prices are perfectly reasonable, and the portions were plentiful. Our server, unfortunately, wasn't always clear when we asked, but he did inquire. :)

During our vacation in Grömitz on July 25, we stumbled upon Osteria Luna Rossa. You walk in and are immediately warmly welcomed by the waiters and owners. We arrived right at opening time and waited a maximum of 15 minutes for our food, which was truly delicious. After our second visit, the waiter knew our order by heart. A truly wonderful restaurant with a lovely ambiance on the outdoor balcony ☀️

The food here is truly excellent. The service is excellent, with a certain Italian flair. Even if a drink isn't on the menu, it will be served separately upon request. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone. At first glance, it's a bit inconspicuous from the outside, as it's on the first floor. The prices are absolutely reasonable.

We were in Grömitz today at lunchtime, and since our daughter's name is Luna, we noticed "Luna Rossa." The excellent lunch menu further enticed us. I'm pretty sure we've never been welcomed as warmly in any restaurant before as we were today at "Luna Rossa." The chef, whose trademark is probably the hat on his head, was thrilled when my husband and daughter happened to be wearing the same hat. So, a nice photo together was a must. A warm and unforgettable moment. The service was fast and attentive, polite, and children are very welcome. The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were very generous. We had five different dishes, both pizza and pasta, all perfect. Our little daughter wanted a children's dish made to her liking—no problem. Luckily, we're here for two weeks, because we definitely have to go back to "Luna Rossa" next week. We highly recommend it.

Good restaurant, very friendly waiter, we sat upstairs on the covered terrace with our dog (great that it was allowed), the food was delicious, I wasn't that hungry that day, but they very kindly packed everything for me to take away!

We ate here for the first time on the day we arrived. The (presumably) chef was in a good mood, greeted us immediately, and quickly showed us a table. He conveyed his good mood through his Italian phrases and sentences, which gave the whole place an even more pleasant Italian atmosphere. The tables are beautifully set. The wait for menus, food, and drinks was short. To start with, they served a truly fantastic special. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away in Grömitz's small pedestrian zone, above a shop and an ice cream parlor. We would definitely go back :).

The food was great. Service was less good because they whispered behind our backs about the tip. They should wait until we left. The atmosphere was okay.

A friendly and accommodating family business. Excellent value for money. Our young son was especially well looked after. Unfortunately, the osteria is easy to miss, as it's on the first floor and only has a sign. It's definitely worth a visit; we'll be back!

Visited the Osteria today and were honestly shocked! We were greeted by the boss, it's great to be back - we've never been there before! Did we have a reservation? No, we were put in the next room where the tables weren't nicely set with tablecloths and flowers like in the first room. We ordered a wheat beer and an Alster beer, but the Alster had no flowers, it was stale. We ordered two pizzas and didn't wish us bon appétit. The boss was sitting at the next table smoking his e-cigarette. We couldn't pay with our new EC-Visa card. We're surprised by the good reviews - it was our first time there and definitely the last!

There were six of us in the restaurant. I was the only one who chose a steak. After a reasonable wait, the dishes were served. My steak was extremely bitter on the outside. Basically inedible. I then tried to mask the bitter taste with lemon and garlic oil so as not to spoil my wife's evening. I couldn't finish the last third of the steak. While clearing the table, the waiter asked the obligatory question whether everything was tasty. I then announced that the steak was bitter. Without a word, the waiter summoned the manager, who then literally escalated the situation. The meat couldn't be bitter. His wife makes it with the utmost care and with the best ingredients. Due to the silence among our guests, he suddenly seemed to recover. Would I like a shot of schnapps to make amends? I said no. "Then don't you want to pay for the meal?" the manager's next question. I replied that he could bill me normally and that I simply wouldn't come back. He then asked again if I didn't want to pay for the meal. To finally get him to calm down and allow our guests to order dessert, I replied that he could charge half price. He then left the table, turned around at the counter, and came back. He stood in front of me and said he couldn't discount half the price because I had eaten two-thirds of the steak. He only wanted to discount one-third. I simply replied that he was happy to charge full price and that we would certainly avoid his restaurant in the future. Our guests' dishes were OK so far. The chef is a human disappointment. He couldn't accept a guest expressing his dissatisfaction objectively. This will certainly be the last time we eat there. In the end, the bill was half price. As we left the restaurant, we weren't even looked at again. I actually wouldn't have given it a single star in the review. Since our guests were generally satisfied, I gave it a mediocre rating.

The best staff who greet you very friendly. The prices are great for original Italian, we ordered two pizzas, a lasagna and two pasta dishes, the sauce from the lasagna was still cooking and there was free parmesan, pepper and salt. The food was very filling and delicious, it's worth spending a lot of money in the restaurant just for the Italian vibe.

We received a super nice welcome with 4 people and 3 dogs. Italian hospitality really comes to life here. We had 2 x pizza, 1 spaghetti aioli and 1 tagliatelle with spinach and salmon. We all really enjoyed it and the price-performance ratio was definitely right. We'd love to come back.

We were warmly welcomed by the boss as if we were regular guests. The food was very tasty. Pasta and pizza were excellent. The garlic rolls first come from House 1a. We'll definitely be back.

I have given many pizzerias 5 stars, this one more than deserves it. The pizza is great and the prices are very fair. The antipasti are outstanding. The boss is an Italian one-of-a-kind. Of course he plays a little, but it's great... we felt very comfortable and didn't expect such good pizza. The garlic oil with it was a revelation. The toilets are very well maintained.

We went here based on the review and I have to say - it was delicious!! At the beginning you get homemade pizza rolls fresh and warm😀 The pizza was very tasty and the garlic oil that was served with it was very good and gave the final taste bonus... Our son (3 years old) was treated very warmly and lovingly and was given a delicious children's pizza...🍕 Several lollipops were also included 🍭 (Thank you) We would love to come back on our next vacation and can only recommend the pizzaria 😊 At the end there was a limoncello on the house - thank you again.... 🍹 It was a lovely evening

We haven't had such a nice meal in a long time. On a Saturday we got a place on the terrace with our dog, even though it was very full. Very cozy, very nice and funny staff and very good pizza. There was a pizza roll for everyone in advance and garlic and chili oil for free with the pizza, which was also very tasty and you could refine your pizza to your own taste. Very nice hosts

Very funny friendly waiter. Pizza tasted very good there. The tiramisu was also great. The price is also great for Grömitz. Unfortunately we didn't get any more space on the terrace. A table was specially prepared for us downstairs. Gladly again next year. 👍

So far it's the best pizza I've had the pleasure of eating ☺️ plus you get olive oil, one with herbs and one with chili, the oil tops the pizza. Definitely worth a visit again 👌 when we're back in Grömitz we'll eat there again ❤️

The pizzas are good. Thin base, juicy toppings. The mixed salad with tuna is highly recommended. Attention: it is very large and can hardly be combined with a normal-sized pizza. We shared it between two people. The restaurant is simple but very clean. Unfortunately not suitable for guests with reduced mobility, it is on the 1st floor.

Restaurant is a bit uninviting as the building is old. Tables on the terrace may be nice if the weather is right. Food was OK. Pizza is made with corn flour, which is why the base is flat and tough. Not really my thing. Prices are okay, not overpriced. Italian family that runs the restaurant. However, you can if you like this type of pizza.

We ate ice cream there. Unfortunately we didn't get what we expected. The ice cream sundae is described differently on the menu, for example I don't expect strawberry ice cream with the chocolate sundae. Likewise with the Straciatella cup, I expect ice cream with chocolate chips and not chocolate ice cream. The spaghetti ice cream only consisted of bland cream. For the current prices I expect a little more.

Super friendly welcome and service. Pizza rolls delicious. Pizza OK. Pasta dishes could use a little more seasoning. Tagliatelle with beef mushrooms and tomatoes contains exactly one tomato, 5 small pieces of meat and 4 mushrooms. The price-performance ratio is not right at all.

Inconspicuous from the outside, you will immediately receive a warm Italian welcome on the upper floor. The decor of the restaurant is a bit out of fashion, but it is a quaint, warm restaurant that places a lot of emphasis on hospitality and delicious food. The restaurant's 'Papa' is a true Italian and always has a quick saying on his lips. The food was simply delicious and the stay in the restaurant was a highlight of our Grömitz trip. Absolutely recommended and we will definitely go back.

Wir waren heute das 3. Mal dort essen. Es lohnt sich! Personal und Service ist super, schnell und freundlich. Manchmal singt der Chef sogar ;) zu empfehlen sind die Calamari (ganz serviert) und eigentlich alle Nudelgerichte. Es gibt einen Innenraum mit kleinen Tischen und Sitzecken und eine Art Wintergarten. Wir kommen gern wieder und genießen das kleine Italien in Grömitz. ♡♡

Wir können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen! Etwas ab von der zu überlaufenden Promenade. Sehr gastfreundlich und sehr gutes Essen! Ein echter Geheimtipp! Meine Frau träumt immer noch von dem Antipasta Teller!

Hauptsaison. Restaurant voll besetzt. Hatten vorher telefonisch reserviert. Gefällt: Flotter und freundlicher Service, Chef hat ein aufmerksames Auge drauf. Pizza Salami war bestenfalls Durchschnitt: "Übersichtlich" belegt, mit breitem Rand und eher wenig Käse. Positiv: Auf Nachfrage gabs sofort ein Set mit Knoblauchöl und scharfem Öl. Das auf der (wetterbedingt) mit Kunststoffplanen nach aussen geschützten Terrasse mitten unter Speisegästen geraucht wurde, schien weder die anderen Gäste noch das Personal zu stören. Wichtiger Hinweis: Bei Bezahlung nahm der Kartenleser NUR Girocard an. Kredit- und Visa-Debitkarten akzeptiert der Kartenleser nicht.

Das Essen, Pizza Testa Rossa und der Zander, waren sehr lecker 😋. Der Cappuccino war so heiß, dass man ihn lange genießen konnte 👍. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung!
