We know pubs from Ireland and our former home, Munich. The two of us were at the Irish Pub Wob and wanted to eat there. The ambiance met our expectations. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Irish stew and shepherd's pie. Both portions were large and delicious. For dessert, we treated ourselves to a soufflé. We were also very satisfied with that. The prices for the food are absolutely reasonable. We'll be back ☘️

I went to Shamrock for the first time yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. We were a group of 3 people. We ordered currywurst with fries, a bacon cheeseburger and nuggets. Unfortunately, the currywurst was cold, the bacon was missing from the burger (they had forgotten to buy it) and the nuggets were so-so. Afterwards I ordered the potato pancakes with applesauce. These were hot, but unfortunately inedible. They were prepared in old frying fat. Unfortunately, it gave me heartburn and I had the taste of old fat in my mouth for hours. Now let's get to the drinks. The selection of whiskey and other spirits would be great if the store had them in stock. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the store and would advise everyone not to go there again. This is a disgrace for the catering industry!

My go to pub while staying in Berlin. Across the street from the Berlin wall. Great beer selection, and food, with live music on weekends, down the street from checkpoint Charlie.

Cozy, familiar, very nice and relaxed owner and the best thing - the prices are more than correct and the cocktails are A1. Great bar :)

Food was super tasty: I already had fries, nachos, steak, schnitzel and pizza. Everything really excellent! Oh yes, there is also a great cake counter. I don't watch football or other sports programs, but I still really like the atmosphere. I'm super 'multicultural' and speak several languages ​​(including English), but nevertheless - as with other shops in Berlin - I don't really like it when the staff in contact with customers speaks exclusively or at least primarily English. I know Irish pubs and all that, but there should also be people who can only speak German and still want to come here. Therefore a star deduction for the service (which is otherwise great, maybe sometimes a little too much effort into upselling ;)

Thank God I didn't read the bad reviews beforehand, who knows if I would have gone then.... ... by the way, I absolutely can't understand the bad reviews; I was traveling alone and actually just wanted to look at the pub (Irish pub in Oberstdorf is a bit unusual...); At first I went to a table for two but was politely asked to take a seat at the bar, which makes sense if you are traveling alone (why take a second seat?) ... after I got my beer, I studied the menu and spontaneously decided to have my dinner here, a special burger ... ... I would like to mention that after I drank my first beer, I was kindly asked if I would like another one... ... and all of this, even though there was a lot going on at the moment, a group of about 12 people were also ordering (they were treated kindly, by the way); I'm assuming that this was the owner (from the reviews I've now read...) and I really can't complain about anything here, quite the opposite... ... I also got my burger and I liked it very much; tasty, with rocket, tomato and cheese... ... I have 100% not regretted my decision and will perhaps go again; I also recommend this to everyone who reads this... ... make up your own mind, just like I did (by chance)... By the way, I'm currently on vacation here and live almost 700 km away, in case the question arises as to whether I'm related to the operators, related by marriage or something else... :-)
