Great pub! Absolutely fair prices!

A super friendly team! And especially the bartender Sarah is incredibly cool. The food is really delicious and the drinks are served quickly. All in all: it's always worth it!

Since, we visited on Halloween, it was too loud to have some conversation within our table itself, but the Service was very good with the in-house Live Music entertaining the crowd. Located in one of the prime locations of Berlin, this place is one of the go-to pubs in Berlin.

The Guinness tasted like absolute shit and the food is no better. This pub has potential but just lacking that friendly Irish pub experience from the staff and the quality of food out of the kitchen.

Wicked Irish pub in central Berlin. Murphy’s stout was on point, food is decent and the prices are pretty unbeatable, especially for the area. Live music aswell makes this place a certified banger.

If you don't mind the place being loud, it's great. Cheap prices and a great bloody Mary.

The pub is very friendly, and the atmosphere is informal. The servers are very friendly, relaxed, and helpful. I have only positive things to say about the food. The burger is amazing and the fries are perfect. The tables are close together, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend the pub.

Great beer and service. Fish and chips meal was disappointing. The "so called" piece of cod was small, paper thin and overcooked! The fries were okay but the salad was unappetizing.

Came in for a quick lunch and weren’t very impressed. - the steaks were all cooked either too little or too much and were very tough - 1 of the steaks was missing the garlic herb butter - one of our 4 orders simply didn’t come until everyone else was finished eating, ended up being very raw

Finally found somewhere in Germany to get a decent steak meal and not have my pants pulled down over the price! Staff were friendly, food was good and the prices reasonable. Surprising given it's proximity to the tourist trap that is checkpoint Charlie.

One of the best Irish pubs I’ve ever visited! The atmosphere is authentic, the music is spot on, and it feels both festive and welcoming at the same time. The bar is fully stocked with an excellent selection of draft beers that truly bring the spirit of Dublin to life. But above all – Sarah the bartender absolutely made the night unforgettable. Her warm smile, quick and attentive service, impressive knowledge of every drink, and her ability to create such a fun and personal vibe turned a great evening into an exceptional one. Thanks to her, I ended up staying much longer than planned. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun night out, great beer, and good company. And to Sarah – huge thanks, you’re a star! 🍻🇮🇪

This was, without exaggeration, the worst Irish pub experience I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was miserable. The bar staff were shockingly rude, dismissive and gave the impression that serving customers was a burden rather than their job. There was no warmth, no friendliness, no trace of the welcoming spirit you would expect from an Irish pub. Every interaction left us feeling more uncomfortable, and instead of relaxing over a drink, we found ourselves counting down the minutes until we could leave. The service was curt, the staff clearly unhappy to be there, and the entire place carried a heavy, joyless energy. It felt more like being unwelcome guests than paying customers. We left with such a bitter taste in our mouths, and it was not from the ale. An Irish pub should be about hospitality, laughter and community. This place was the complete opposite. If you value even the most basic standards of respect or enjoyment, avoid this pub. It is, in my opinion, an embarrassment to the idea of what an Irish pub should be.

A great dive of an Irish pub. Took quite some time for them to figure out putting a soccer match on the TV! The beers were delicious and they had a great selection. Bartenders were a bit standoffish, and saw one roll her eyes a couple times. Great spot for a quick pint!

Food was good. Waited almost an hour to get noticed that we were at a table. Service was slow and I don’t think they planned for the crowd at a marathon. Watched others across from us get served about 2 or 3 to 1. Not sure what the overall issue was. Definitely check out, but beware, make time.

Burger was terrible worst than mcdonalds so dry and overcooked :(( when ı asked to waiter why is so bad he said because its 5 euro very cheap !!!!!! Very big disappointing !!! Anyway i still paid without eating and nobody apologized.

Had some great Sheperd's Pie in the heart of Berlin, just meters away of Checkpoint Charlie. Would certainly eat here again!

I was there with a large group. If I were alone or with two or three people, I'd go somewhere else. Although it was very busy. Public parking - 1 hour, €3. Location - right next to Checkpoint Charlie.

Went I here to watch English football. Food was ok. Beers at a good price.

Great Irish themed bar near checkpoint Charlie, we stopped here and had a pint and some currywerst sausages! The food was ok, small portions but hot and filled a hole.

We were hungry after a stroll through town today and spontaneously ended up here. The very friendly waitress showed us a table. The prices were absolutely amazing: fish and chips with a side salad for around €12, and a 200g rump steak with fries and salad for around €13. My husband drank a dark stout beer, which had a delicious, malty flavor. The fish and chips were also a huge portion and very fresh and tasty. We especially appreciated that my husband was able to charge his iPhone on the owner's charger while we ate. I also found the vinegar sauce so delicious that I asked if I could buy some for our son at home, who also loves it, and of course I was sold one at a reasonable price. The place is quaint, with a really good atmosphere and good music. The restrooms are functional but clean. We would love to come back next time we're in Berlin.

Amazing!! Came here for a breakfast Guinness to start my day. The guy in the bar was super nice, handed me a perfect pint ant to top it all got the perfect G split! God bless Ireland, god bless this bar.

We had a great meal here, and it's conveniently located near Checkpoint Charlie. It's pleasantly busy, and you can enjoy a drink on the terrace.

Very nice, cozy, and free from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The food was very, very tasty, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. The male server was very friendly and entertaining, a true "Berlin native," even though he was a young man in his mid-thirties. He had a very pleasant conversation with us and gave us some great personal information. If we're ever back in Berlin, we'd love to come back. We had high expectations, but it was terrible. It was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish arrived small and burnt, looking like the last of the last of the fridge. The service from the servers was very curt. We ate it out of hunger, and I don't recommend it.

Nice staff. Good food. And lots of beers!

We waited for over an hour for our lunch. The burger meat was overcooked, small and round like a ball, not a circle. It was also cold. Like the rest of the food, which was also cheap and probably bought from the store over the street. The bread on the burger was untouched. They did not bother a single bit to make it crunchy. Veggies were the same. They charged me around 16€ for this burger. Same thing for the falafel. The fork had no chance to stick into it. Hard.

When we first arrived, we tried to go in to order and got told we could not do it at the register and they would come outside to take our order. When the waiter came outside he said “what do you want” in a rude tone. The second waiter was friendlier. The waitress that brought out the food seemed not overly friendly either. Got the fish and chips. Portion size was small, however price was not too expensive I guess. Beer was not too bad. Meal took a little while to come, and it was hard to get the attention of the waiters when trying to order. Wouldn’t return and based on the owners replies to the comments on here, happy to not return.

Great food for vegetarians but not good service at all. Would give it 5 stars but service was bad, the waitress was even rude to us. Other than that, I loved the vegetarian food

My friends and I had dinner here on the 17th of June and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The waiter was quite rude, repeatedly and insistently asking what we wanted to order and whether we wanted anything else. We didn’t feel at ease at all. Even small gestures, such as placing coasters on the table, were done with a surprising lack of care — they were simply thrown down. Whether this behaviour was due to us being tourists, I cannot say, but it certainly left a poor impression. I would not recommend this place. The food, regrettably, did not make up for the service. The burgers appeared overcooked and had visibly shrunk (this applied to the vegan option as well). The bread was served cold, and the cheese in the cheeseburgers hadn’t even melted. The chips were excessively salty, and the portion of fish and chips we ordered wasn’t great either.

The schnitzel is good there. The drink selection is also excellent, with plenty of options for beer and whiskey lovers. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's nice inside, with TV and "Irish" music. Outside, however, it's pretty mediocre in such a semi-nice neighborhood and on a busy street. Still, overall, pretty good.

Murphy's on Zimmerstrasse is my regular pub. All the staff are always friendly and strive to serve you as quickly as possible. Of course, if it's busy or the day is long, it can take a while to get served because you get overlooked. And since it's a pub, you should be able to relax and wait. Unfortunately, the taste of the food has changed somewhat. All in all, in all the time I've known it, i.e., since I moved in, it's been a great pub.

Rude waiter. Asked for Currywurst he got us salmon. We kindly said we are sorry about the misunderstanding, and he told us that he understood clearly and that we've shown another product. Very rude waiter.

What a joke. Asked to order and pay for a couple of beers at the bar only to be told off to wait at the table. A long while later we managed to order and get our beers. Later on, we spent another 20 minutes trying to wave down the waitress just to be able to pay. Got completely ignored. If you want a pleasant experience, choose a different bar.

The burger is simply terrible: the first one was bone dry and overcooked in the microwave. The second star is only for the kitchen crew's genuine effort to try a second burger. The bun crumbled - the burger was impossible to eat with your hands. The best part was Raoul, the waiter, who handled the whole drama.

Nice Irish pub in Berlin, Guinness was reasonable, food was good, prices were reasonable, made to feel welcome. Wasn't to busy (/loud) when I stopped in, made for a good evening here on a work trip.

Hello friends, the Irish Pub is coming to discover, do as we please, do not hesitate to come and discover, right next to a small part of the Berlin Wall and its memorial

I was really quite worried about trying here because some reviews were great, some not so. We visited twice last Saturday, once for a drink and then we decided to come back and eat later. We asked our waiter and he reserved our table while we were there. When we came back the bar was rammed and our waiter from before recognised us immediately. The table we had reserved was occupied and near a tv showing sports. He found us another really quickly and (thankfully) it wasn't near a tv! The floor staff there are amazing and between our original waiter (tall, blonde curly hair and a lady with a dark ponytail) they couldn't do enough for us. Our food was OK (that's why it's only a 4) but service, live music (excellent) and atmosphere made up for that. It was so good that hubby left a tip on the actual bill and I went to give individual tips to these great floor staff. Give it a go, at least and don't be put off by the bad reviews

How a pub is... loud 😉 Had live music, and it was immediately disrupted by three schnapps thrushes... I would have liked the staff to stop this... Otherwise everything was really great, I would love to do it again 🙂

Great spot to eat lunch near Check point Charlie; was disappointed as the nachos with chilli also came with sweet corn and this is not shown on the menu and rather expensive given what we had.

Well, I would have liked to eat and drink something, but I was simply ignored for at least 10 minutes. Only when I thanked me for the "hospitality" and wanted to leave the restaurant did the waiter rush after me, probably in the false belief that I had said something insulting... but it was just sarcasm for the lousy service... so, no chance to "pour me a drink" either... I'm just used to better things in Irish pubs around the world.

Great food and drinks at a reasonable price, a nice atmosphere and in a good location. A small observation is that none of the staff seemed happy to be there. However, I did still receive good customer service, and I would definitely go back.

Nice Irish pub around the corner at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin. You can have a nice drink here, it is always busy. The cider with berries is recommended. We didn't eat there, so can't comment on that, but we went here a number of times during our stay in Berlin. Recommended!
