Guinness is good and the owner gave us great chat! Don’t be put off by people saying he wouldn’t let them in, he’s just managing the place when it’s busy. We enjoyed his chat, the pints and had a good time!

Great place to watch premier league football game if you're visiting. Arsenal match was on and the atmosphere was great the whole time. The bar keep is very friendly and attentive. It's cash only!!!!!!!!! And only serves chips/crisps so no food food.

Small quaint pub with great people and service! It's very reminiscent of the original British pubs, with some of the things from grandma's home furnishings. Original ambience, cold beer! What more could you want?

Extremely rude staff! I've worked in the service industry many years and consider myself very empathetic with others in the industry however the way I was treated when entering this bar was horrific! I will never go back to this establishment! Such a disappointment to all the hard-working and kind-hearted service personnel out there.

The owner of this bar is incredibly rude. It is astounding really to meet someone so rude in a service profession. He really ought to reconsider his job and life in general. My girlfriend and I walked into this bar for the second half of a premier league game and were instantly screamed at by the owner. Apparently the bar was full and thus the owner, in his own words, has all the rights to shout insults and tell new guests to F off simply for opening the door to the establishment. I've been to bars on all continents but this is by far the worst reception I've ever gotten. Blarney deserves to go out of business.

came to berlin; all I googled was Arsenal bar and this place popped up. Might as well attend the game; City Arsenal on 31MAR24. Awesome experience. As soon as my glass was empty, I was being asked for my next beer. Awesome. Came back the next day (Easter Monday) at around 2155. Bar had a couple of people in there. Ordered a bear and was very nicely met by the owner. Had a superb conversation in addition to a couple beers. Bartender was not only engaged with the bar, but constantly attending to those that were seated. Couldn’t ask for a better spot. One of the most wholesome, eye-opening, and genuinely great experiences Ive had in my lifetime. One of the gems in berlin. If you have a chance, get in here and have a beer! 100/10

Warning: NO food in this location. Blarney's is OK. Unfortunately, the furnishings are a bit outdated and there are a bit too many jumbled bits and bobs. I didn't think all the T-shirts on the walls and ceiling were really pretty either. Overall it doesn't seem really comfortable. There is of course Guinness and a small selection of whiskeys. Overall, the drinks menu is clear but there should be something for everyone. There are peanuts and chips as snacks. We weren't that interested in English football, but it could certainly be important for some. In my opinion, Blarney's is an average Irish sports bar. You can go here, but if you don't live in the area, it probably won't be your favorite pub for most people, plus the pub just lacks a bit of charm.

It's contradictory to have Madness or Fred Perry t-shirts in your store if your practices are racist. I went in to watch an Arsenal game, the owner threw the card on the bar and I had to stand for a long time. Moments later other people came in who the owner did serve and quickly found accommodations for them. The same with the beers. He asked the others if they wanted more. He just picked up my glass without saying anything to me. It seems the only way to feel welcome and respected there is to speak English with a British accent, be white or wear Dr. Martens boots with a Fred Perry T-shirt.

Is have ordered 2 apple juices (paid around 6€ which is more than necessar) The owner told me "next time bring cash and order more, because it's not enough". I have been to many restaurants/cafes/pubs in the world, but never in my life did a staff member tell me that I should order more because it's not enough. This behavior is beyond pathetic and unacceptable. This guy has zero understanding of customer satisfaction.

The place is small and they only serve drinks. The owner is very unpleasant and harassed my companion because we hadn't ordered enough for his liking, even though he has already been there several times and spent well over €100 in this establishment in total. He told him that next time if he didn't drink more it would be outside. What kind of place do you talk to people like that? Why didn't we order "enough" this time? Because this establishment does not accept credit cards and this time we realized when we arrived that we did not have enough cash to order more. If you don't want us to eat something cheap, don't put it on the menu. Moreover, imagine if it was a coffee shop, a barista would never have harassed the customer like this character did because he only had an espresso. His behavior makes no sense and he is losing customers. The only positive point is that other comments here confirm that this didn't just happen to us. Only the waitress was always friendly.

I went to this pub multiple times because I really enjoyed the atmosphere Arsenal fans created there (which has nothing to do with the pub itself). Every single time I spent at least 10€ per person, and I visited this place around 12-15 times. Today, we went there to watch the Arsenal vs Crystal Palace match, this time I didn't have enough cash on me, and we weren't in the mood to drink alcohol at 13:30 PM. But we had enough cash to order 2 small apple juices (2.60€ per each glass). After serving our juices, the owner (old guy in the bar) started constantly reminding me that there is a cash machine (ATM) nearby. We didn't want to drink anything else, we came just to enjoy the match. So, in the half time I went outside to get some fresh air and this old guy followed me just to say "next time bring cash and order more, because it's not enough". I have been to many restaurants/cafes/pubs around the world, but never in my life did a staff member tell me that I should order more because it's not enough. This behavior is beyond pathetic and unacceptable. This person has no idea about customer satisfaction. After I paid the bill (6€, which is 80 cents more btw) he told me that "next time if you order the same thing you're out". This is simply ridiculous, I told him "there won't be next time" and left the place. This person can't grasp the fact that he cannot tell customers what and how much to order. I also want to note other staff members were always friendly to me, seems like this old man had a personal issue with me. However instead of going out and talking face to face, he preferred to raise his voice at me behind the bar in front of other customers. Meanwhile I'm quite sure I have spent at least 100€ in total going to this place, so I'm sort of a permanent visitor. Well, not anymore, thanks to the unfriendly attitude of the owner.

Kreuzberg at its best. Die Bar gibt es schon länger als die meisten hier wohnen. Hat sich super gehalten, genau richtig für einen entspannten Abend. Die Musik ist nicht zu laut, das Bier nicht zu teuer und der Besitzer echtes Original!

Die Bedienung war freundlich. Als wir am Dienstag Abend da waren war aber nicht viel los. Gegessen haben wir nichts. Wir hatten nur ein bisschen was getrunken.

Ein guter Ort um mit Freunden ein Guinness zu trinken. Jedenfalls, wenn es kein Fußballspiel gibt. Wenn es Bundesliga, Premier League oder CL gibt, haben die Fußballfans das Sagen. Wenn in England gespielt wird, sind deutschsprachige Gäste auch mal in der Minderheit. Ganz besonders gilt das, wenn Arsenal spielt. Wenn es aber keinen Fußball gibt, ist es richtig nett dort. Je nachdem, wer gerade hinterm Tresen steht, ist die Musik sehr unterschiedlich. Gestern gab es da z.B. Specials, Stones, Clash und die Pistols im Laufe des Abends. Sehr schön.

Wat soll'n dit für'n Irish Pub sein, bei dem Spiele der Unionistischen Besatzer in Nordirland gezeigt werden, das Spiel der Irischen Nationalmannschaft allerdings nicht? Preise zudem ordentlich hoch...

Avoid this place, the owner will personally make sure you know that you’re not welcome. We simply asked if they were showing the IRE vs RSA rugby World Cup game (in an Irish pub) to which the bar staff politely said they’re weren’t. We thought, no issue we may as well have a beer anyway. When the owner was informed of our request, he sat near us to speak with a regular, quickly switched to English and proceeded to loudly proclaim that we were rude and he hates seeing unfamiliar faces. It’s such a shame because it’s a lovely pub and the other bar staff were so nice.

Very very rude staff. I couldn't believe how anyone would come here for a drink with such an unfriendly, sexist, unpleasant man working behind the bar. We had one drink and couldn't wait to leave. He appears to loves his locals who he was very attentive to. With us he appeared to be hesitant to serve us. This should not be an Irish bar, nothing Irish about this bar. Sehr schöner Pub, nette Bedienung und auch etwas mehr Scotch als auf der Karte. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Einziges Manko: nach mittlerweile 4 Drams wäre etwas zu essen nicht schlecht. Das muß man sich aber woanders holen.

This is a proper Pub. Soccer and the feeling of a united kingdom dominate the decoration. Service is not only friendly, but caring and fast. The pub is divided in a smokers part and a non smokers part. I like that. And it offers two different games to watch. Beer is tasty and the feeling is right.

Wir lieben diesen Pub. Es fühlt sich alles so authentisch an und ist es auch. Man muss damit klar kommen, daß oft englischer oder spanischer Fußball gezeigt wird. Aber wenn nicht, läuft beste Punk Rock, Indie, Folk music. Gäste sind altersmäßig total gemischt und sehr angenehm. Essen gibt es nicht, aber Erdnüsse und Chips. Der Laden ist klein und gemütlich. Wir trinken immer Guinness und Whisky.

Small (cozy?) and laid-back atmosphere. They have a smoking area and I didn't see anyone smoking inside which is a plus. Went for a pint of Guinness and really enjoyed it.

Spontan mit 'nem Irischen Freund hereinspaziert und, da 2 Fernseher Fussball zeigten, freundlich gefragt ob vllt. auch das Rugbymatch Irland vs. Südafrika zu sehen sein würde. Mit zynischer Blick kam die spottende Gegenfrage des Inhabers: "Was ist denn Rugby?! Nein, gibt's nicht". Dieser Wirt scheint Gäste eher lästig zu finden (Lokal war So. um 17:30 Uhr rel. leer), das Gegenteil was man von einem Irish Pub erwartet!

Ganz wichtig vorab - hier gibt es KEIN Essen. Und das gab es auch nie. Gehe hier unregelmässig seit ca. 10 Jahren hin. Ein Pub nach irisch bzw. britischem Prinzip. Gemütlich, viel Holz, internationales Publikum. Fussball - besonders britischer - wird hier immer gezeigt. Seit Jahren ist die Anhängerschaft der Gooners (Arsenal) sehr präsent aber auch Liverpool und United haben eine gute Anhängerschaft bei Spielen vor Ort. Ecki (der Besitzer) ist ein waschechter Charakter und macht den Laden mit seiner Lebensgefährtin zu etwas Besonderem. Leute, die sich in den Bewertungen über etwaige Unfreundlichkeit/Ruppigkeit beschweren, sollten öfters kommen um zu verstehen, dass der gute Mann a) oft den Laden alleine schmeißt und b) der Ton in hektischen Phasen somit nicht immer superfreundlich sein kann. Ist ja immerhin kein 3-Sterne-Michelin-Restaurant sondern ein ehrlicher Fussballpub.

Der Besitzer hat uns zu Beginn ohne wirklichen Grund äußert unfreundlich einfach abgewiesen, obwohl sie sehr viel Platz gehabt hätten. Nachdem wir nach einiger Wartezeit dann doch reingelassen wurden, gab uns der Eigentümer die wohl schlechtesten Plätze. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt dementsprechend für uns sehr kurz. Einen Besuch im Blarney empfehle ich daher zu vermeiden. Würde ich 0 Sterne vergeben können, würde ich auch 0 vergeben.

Very cozy and non-touristic. When I was there, there was a band playing irish music.

Owner is honest and straightforward - not rude as some have suggested. If you are looking for a posh wine bar experience, don't go to Blarney. If you want to see sports, make friends and enjoy a beer then definitely a place to go.

Obwohl mittlerweile wieder alles „normal“ ist, wollte man einen 2G+ Nachweis sehen. Als einer aus der Grippe diesen nicht sofort finden konnte, hat man uns geben, den Nachweis draußen zu suchen.

A good place to watch footvall at, specifically Premier leagye matches. There are a few choices of Irish beers and a widr selection of whisk(e)ys. There's no food on the menu, hoewever.

I live in Bavaria and every time I am in Berlin, I come here to watch a Premier League game. This is a genuine local pub. It is a welcoming place with great service from the staff and an easygoing vibe from the other customers. Ich wohne in Bayern und wenn ich in Berlin bin, gehe ich immer gerne ins Pub für ein Pint, ein Topspiel und die tolle Atmosphäre.

Wanted to go there with an Irish friend. Upon arrival it apeared the pub was full. When we asked about it and the table in front of the door, the man serving in the pub answered quite rudely "Why else would I put it here?" Could've been done nicer. Will not try to go there again.
