Guinness, live music, British staff and great Irish food. All fantastic and outstanding! Great experience.

Great live music on Monday. But beer prices are hearty!

Spent 3 out of my 4 days holiday here. The staff were so friendly and very attentive. The food was very tasty indeed. I highly recommend this place for food and drinks.

We had two fun evenings in the Irish pub at Hackescher Markt. The live music was atmospheric, there was a lot going on. It's a shame that there wasn't much Irish music played. The beers were mostly ok.

Really cozy Irish pub. Just as it should be. Fish and chips with Remu was delicious and the Stowford is always good anyway. Is really recommended. If I'm back in Berlin, I'll be back.

Very quaint pub. This is located in the station building. The seating was already very worn out. When we were there, we were told that the toilets could not be used today. Otherwise there is no toilet in the station building. You would have had to ask at another restaurant, so we just stayed for a drink.

Beer was awful. Went in with 4 couples. The ladies had cocktails, which were sent back as they were poor. I sent my beer back as it was awful. Wouldn't recommend this as a place to drink. They did refund us for the drinks and the waitress was fine

Rustic cool ambience. Large location with feel-good islands for drinking, eating and watching football. Various delicious types of beer (I ❤️ Newcastle Brown Ale) and snacks (here the currywurst “without”) made FC Bayern Munich’s defeat complete. Little kitchen🙁 A beautiful, unusual place

Too bad. Twelve of us wanted to celebrate my best friend's bachelorette party in this pub. However, we were denied an appointment two months in advance. He loves Irish pub culture and especially Kilkenny as his beer of choice. Will try elsewhere accordingly. For me, the best pub is the one that wants to welcome us as guests.

Quaint shop. The beer tastes typical. The service only speaks English, overall worth a visit.

The Kilkenny is a very large pub, divided into three separate areas. We were there on two evenings and on each occasion there was live music, which, together with the rustic furnishings and the very attentive staff, created a great atmosphere. As the name suggests, you should order a Kilkenny beer here at least once, it's worth it! All in all a great address, gladly again.

A must in Berlin, especially for UK friends and football fans ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were here on a Monday so it might feel better/different later in the week but it was very much a station pub. My cider was ok, possibly watered down, but my bf had Kilkenny which was dire.

My wife and I popped in for dinner and to watch an international rugby game. The excellent and attentive staff managed patrons keen to watch rugby and an international football game simultaneously. Well done! The food was fine. I have no hesitations in returning.

Funny but a bit too down-rocked and expensive.

A perfect Friday evening in the pub. The atmosphere was bombastic and you could feel like you were actually in Ireland. The beers were all tasty and of high quality. Kilkenny, Lucky Lupe and Newcastle Brown Ale are recommended. Add to that sports TV and lots of English guests and the feeling was perfect.

Grat pub it was really busy but no waiting for service they were plenty of bars and servers a great place to watch a match also

Decent spot. Nice atmosphere. Staff seemed nice - however, standard of Guinness depends on who pours it - interesting technique employed by one member. Had sport and live music. Would visit again.

Awesome Pub. Went there twice during our Berlin visit. Great atmosphere and even better music (lots of The Cure and other classic goth tunes). Food was very tasty and the service, even with a totally crowded bar, on point as well. Definitely recommend going there if you want a pint in a cosy setting with great music.

Definitely NOT a reserved / quiet pub - Saturday night visit. Ended up leaving at 1.30 in the morning because the banter (craich) was brilliant. Adam, the singer / guitarist, covered all of the songs that got people singing along. Range of beer and service was good and reasonably priced.

It's ok to wait for fries but the beer pops

Always a great vibe over a weekend. Go early as later on it gets completely packed with no inside seating where generally live music is being played.

Very atmospheric pub! Very nice staff, great selection of beers and drinks in general. Lovely simple food. We enjoyed life music and met loads of friendly people. Absolutely must visit!

I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. The staff here was also very courteous and attentive. The evenings with live music are also great

Good treatment and good atmosphere

Very nice pub right in the heart of Berlin. Delicious beers from the British Isles dominate the drinks menu. A very courteous service ensured a cozy evening with some delicious, freshly tapped Guinness from the tap.

For tourists, youth groups, middle-aged people and other party people who want to go all out. Nicely decorated, but that's about the only interesting thing.

Great atmosphere for drinking!! Real pub feeling. Food is a bit expensive but the beer tastes good 😃. The waitresses were always super friendly and helpful, even though they couldn't do their job because it was always full to the brim 😅.

We visited this bar a couple of times on our visit to Berlin.On the first night we had a few drinks and dinner,the food was beautiful with a good menu. The next night we went back a little later in the evening for drinks,it was very busy! There was a guy playing guitar in the bar,I think his name was Alan?He was Brilliant!! Great atmosphere in the bar,and a great pint of Guinness there!! Well worth a visit if in Berlin,train station right over the bar so very easy get to.

I got some drinks there with some friends as it was one of the few spots open at that hour, a lot of Irish people that were very unpolite were at that time there leaving their empty glasses of beer on our tables and it was very noisy even outside. One of the staff members was very nice with us as after the closing hours he showed me a place from where I can get something to drink close to the place so no comments on the staff just on the clients…

I was here again last week. The Kilkenny was always my absolute must-have when I was in Berlin again. I've been going there for years, but for about 1.5 years I've always left disappointed. I don't like the new concept of only speaking English. It's nice that as a tourist you can communicate here, it feels like everyone can speak English. But I, as an English novice, find it difficult and would like to be able to order well in German. Been here four times since the new concept, always with the hope of not completely losing my StammPup. However, it was actually the last time for the time being. There is extremely less choice of food. Sweet potato fries, were completely removed. I always loved them there. The salads are a lot smaller, just a shame. The food is good, but unfortunately there isn't as much choice. Unfortunately, things have declined after the new concept. But that's just my opinion, which still knows the previous one and opinions are known to be different. I would still recommend it, but I would at least be happy about sweet potato fries again, then it will remain my go-to place. Definitely a super unnecessary criticism, but I just loved sitting there, eating the fries with a nice salad. All the best to you and the staff is always really friendly.

Terrible! Waiting over an hour for food and not one staff member came to update us! Place seems dirty also. Carpets sticking to your feet. We won't be back!

Being Irish on a trip to Berlin and finding an Irish bar that lives up to our standards is great! We visited twice on our trip and had a great time. Drinks aren’t bad price €12 a cocktail.. we had some lunch which I can recommend the club sandwich it was very good. Only negative thing I can say is that it could do with a clean the chairs and carpet are so dirty and grubby. We had a great time, worth a visit!

In Ireland the seating was much more comfortable and not as shabby.

Just a great shop. The staff is so friendly. The whole atmosphere is just great. So if you're in Berlin, visit the store. It's just worth 10 stars from me

Irish pubs are never disappointing and this one was also nice! It’s in a great location so a bit more pricy that the others but worth it . Inside they show all the games and also there is enough room. Good selection of beers too

Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had!!! Served in a hot bowl that keeps it piping the entire time! Great service & fantastic atmosphere, its everything you want. And also, top drawer live music. The best reason to visit Berlin.

€17.5 euros for two spirits and mixers is a bit excessive. Add to that the barman gave me back 1.50 and helped himself to a euro tip.

Visited my Son in Berlin. We stopped in for a few beers and food. Met some others. We ended up staying there for a few hours. Live music and good atmosphere.

Guinness is very smooth, but if you want the typical carbonation of beer, you might be disappointed. Fish and chips are always delicious

Bartender/server was helpful and efficient. He gave me free ice water to go with my beer! Free! The bartenders turned the TV channel to the Laver Cup tennis at our request.

Just a typical pub. Was very crowded on Saturday because there was live music. But the atmosphere was really great.

Spontaneously go to the pub for live music and football - waiters on top of their game, good atmosphere and typical Irish atmosphere. The beer on tap rounds off the visit!! I can't rate the food because I was only there for the beer 🤓

My favorite pub in Berlin! There every now and then on Saturday evenings, the atmosphere is always very good and the drinks are great too! During the European Championships it was very fun with the many different fan groups. The Snake Bite is my absolute favorite drink. I'm already looking forward to the next visit! Absolutely clear recommendation!

This is my favourite pub in Berlin, started going here in 2004 and there's been some changes over the years but nothing drastic. The ambiente is nice and I like to come here for a beer after work or for breakfast on weekends. Unfortunately the menu changed recently and the food looks much more fancy now with basic pub food options gone missing. I loved the simple breakfast (two buns, egg, spreads) which is no longer on the menu. I tried the Ham and Cheese sandwich instead which was not a sandwich at all but two roasted ciabatta slices with lots of fresh onion and veggies in between served in the style of a burger with skewers (please include lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles etc. in the description, I thought I ordered a simple Ham and Cheese sandwich). Just plain fries are also no longer served but instead a "chips basket" with fancy cuts and seasoning. Would be so happy to see more simple "pub food" items on the menu again. Also on my last two visits a strong smell of cleaning products from the toilets was noticeable in every room even at the bar in the front room.

I do not regret much in life but I do regret going to this pub today with my brother and my friend. We came in and took a table. We saw the waiter, we waited 15 mins that he comes to take our order but he never appeared. The pub was full at only 25% capacity so I don't understand why we were never even offered a menu to begin with. But we thought the waiter might have noticed us and so I grabbed a vagrant menu on the table nearby and went to order at the bar directly. I myself have worked as a waiter in the past and my brother is "Assistant Maître d'hotel " for a cruiseline. So we did not mind since we know the perks of the job. I went to order and up pick three drinks ( we were 3 in total) and brought them to our table. We decided to go for a second round. There was this ginger haired guy who served us initially at the bar and we signalled to him that we wanted to order more drinks. He told us to wait with hand gesture. We waited for 10 mins but nobody came. Even Jesus found God quicker in the desert but we did not find a waiter. So I took the empty glasses , went to the bar and ordered again. I made sure I gave my piece my mind and the second barman ( not the ginger guy) told me that I have to pick up my drinks myself when I come to the bar otherwise I have to order with a waiter: whom we never found. Instead of giving an apology, and here I would like to point out that I am in Germany for the last 10 years and I make sure my cristism sounds like one when I share it with the person concerned, I was with a white patronising attitude.I am not sure if I said please while ordering but at this point I think they did not deserve any courtesy from my side. I did not even say thank you when I got my drinks because the Ginger haired barman was already at the bar by this time and did not even utter a word.I am inclined to say beggars cannot be choosers to sum up the whole situation but here I am paying for it; so am definitely not the begging party. I am not sure if the management will read this comment but if you do then tell that barman to enjoy his white privilege while he can. Hospitality and the German language is not his strength but how dare a brown guy question that. Thankfully the world order is changing. I can say by far and large this was one of the worst customer service I got in Germany. I don't know where that barman comes from but Germans are more hospitable than him for sure.

You are ignored by the waitress and the only time the waitress comes to the table is when you are outside smoking and the half-full beer is taken away from you. In addition, while we were watching the Bundesliga, we simply switched to rugby for whatever reason

We were in this very cozy pub with friends last Saturday. We came spontaneously around 10 p.m. with 7 people and happened to be lucky enough to get a spot outside. With beautiful weather and live music, we sat until 2:30 a.m. The service was absolutely friendly despite the long opening hours. She was always there straight away when you wanted to order something and you never had the feeling of being left out. Unfortunately the kitchen was already closed, so no rating of the food. Otherwise the atmosphere was top class. At the end, the entire beer garden sang along to the guitarist in the pub. A really great evening and a really great pub. Keep it up and thank you very much for that!!! Many greetings from Saxony!!!
