Kilkenny Irish Pub in Berlin

Cool bar with international guests. Live music with absolute classics where everyone can sing along. We didn't try the food, but it was very expensive (€20 for a burger with fries). The cider and beer were very good. Service was always friendly and quick. We would come here again. The atmosphere was great. Restrooms are cleaned regularly.

Had two bears from tap tasted funky,

I was in after traveling to the local park. After having a couple of suggest local pints. The bar man inquired about my day too I said I was looking for site seeing while out. No venues or tours. Then after a friendly chat back and fourth, he then proceeded writing out a list of places to check out that we previous discussed. Amazing!! 20/05/25 apologetic for forgetting the barmans name but really do help my last day count. Peace and love ❤ ps I didn't have food

An ideal pub to watch football matches

I actually had excellent homemade fries (chips) beforehand. Then an excellent beef pie. I can highly recommend this place!

Great Irish pub! Wonderful atmosphere, good service even though it might be really crowded. I recommend going there! Although it might be a little pricey.

Had a few pints of guinness they were perfect. Spoke to 3 people who had breakfast and said it was fabulous. Staff are cool and efficient. Very clean bar. Was there early on a Sunday. Good location and has a nice outdoor smoking area.

It was very crowded and we didn't get a seat, but we really enjoyed it. The brilliant staff there even made their way through the crowds to serve people with beers — they definitely deserved a nice tip. Awesome atmosphere. A completely different attitude compared to some bar waiters here in Berlin.

Super Pub in Mitte! Immer tolle Stimmung und viele Gäste. Das Serviceteam ist perfekt, immer lächelnd und enorm freundlich. Auch die Barkeeper sind toll, flottes Bedienen und beste Auswahl an Bier und Whiskey Sorten! Für uns immer einen Besuch wert, sehr zu empfehlen!

Visitado un viernes por la noche y realmente disfrutamos del ambiente vibrante. Había música en vivo tocando que se sumó a la energía del lugar. El personal era muy servicial y educado en todo momento, incluso con lo ocupado que estaba. Había una selección decente de cervezas en oferta — tuve una pinta de Guinness, que era solo promedio. Estaba bastante lleno y nos costó encontrar un asiento, así que prepárate para estar de pie si vas más tarde en la noche. En general, un lugar animado con excelentes vibraciones, perfecto para una noche de fiesta si no te importan las multitudes.

Gezellige typische Irish pub. Personeel erg is vriendelijk. Uitstekend om voetbal te kijken, er zijn heel veel schermen en commentaar is te horen. Zou zeker terugkeren om nogmaals sport te bekijken.

Great place for live music, drinks and some good food! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is great and the watermelon man cocktail is excellent! If I visit that part of Berlin again, I'll definitely be dropping back into Kilkenny's!!

The bartenders put the tip in the card machine without asking if you want to tip. Be careful!

If you are bored and looking for a bad experience, I recommend coming here. The cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. The only thing about an Irish bar is the furniture, not craic.

Belongs to every city visit. An Irish pub as we are used to. Rustic with matching music 🎶 from the 80s. Burgers 🍔 looked very tasty.

Didn’t have food but it looked great. Great atmosphere watching the rugby, staff were great and the Guinness excellent. Also, a great stopping point on the way to the airport with the train station right above the pub and a direct train there!

Be careful. I ordered yesterday 6 tequila shots and one beer and ended up paying 45 euros. When I asked for a bill, the guy disappeared. Will go back today and ask for the bill. They rip people off.

It couldn't be more original!! A must visit as a Berlin holidaymaker. We were here once in 2015 and this time we weren't disappointed! Live music, good beer, good food, visitors from all over the world, great atmosphere - you'll want to stay a little longer here! I will definitely visit again when I'm in Berlin again!

Yes, that was as it should be. Loud, busy, slightly chaotic. Nice service, delicious food and just Kilkenny. You don't have to like it, but there are definitely alternatives. 😊 Definitely recommended in the “Irish Pub” section.

It's very dirty and run down. Ordered food against our better judgement. Toasted sandwiches thinking how bad could they be! They deep fried the sandwiches 🤢. Disgusting, grease on a plate. Couldn't wait to get out of the place..

Great ambience, a pub beautifully integrated into the train station. But you don't notice anything about the trains. The waitress keeps hissing to the farthest corner of the bar and checking to see who's on the right. Anyone who likes a real "old" bar will love it here!

A nice Irish pub. A nice central spot to meet friends and drink beer. However, we mistakenly chose the day of the Celtic match. We couldn't talk, we watched the match 🤭 and just so you know, it's normally very crowded and noisy inside. It should not be preferred by those who prefer silence. Finally, their beers are very good.

En Berlín para cumpleaños, cultura y un concierto de Teddy Swims. Fui al pub Kilkenny a ver el rugby de las 6 naciones. Como era de esperar, estaba lleno. El personal del bar era increíble sirviendo sin parar. Tuvimos la suerte de tener un gran servidor que entregó bebidas a nuestros asientos para los 2 juegos. Gracias Laura. Amazing atmosphere. Went to watch the Liverpool match. Staff were friendly, they also had a singer on who sang songs that every one joined in to, she also had an amazing voice. Was a great night.

Very good Irish pub, the beers are good, the atmosphere is great and the staff are excellent. The metro can cause some vibrations from time to time but most of the time they remain unnoticed.

What a great Irish pub in Berlin! The ambience is very interesting and beautifully decorated. There is plenty of seating, but I recommend reserving a table in advance. The food is very good and cheap by Berlin standards. The beer is a bit expensive (6.8 euros) but it's really worth it. There are many different types of beer, not only Irish but also German. The staff is quick, nice and helpful. Almost every evening (not just on the weekends) there is live music and you can dance. On Fridays and Saturdays the pub is open until 2am. Recommended place. The next time I'm in Berlin, I'd love to come back!

Kilkenny Irish Pub in Berlin has been one of my go-to spots for a good pint of Guinness. The beer is great, and the classic Irish pub vibe—complete with good music and a cozy atmosphere—has always been a draw. However, my latest visit left me extremely disappointed, mainly because of the overpriced and underwhelming food. A burger with fries costing nineteen to twenty-one euros is already on the steep side, but I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake. The burger arrived cold, the fries were overly greasy, and the portion was so small it felt like a joke. Honestly, I’ve had better meals at McDonald’s or from the kebab stand around the corner—for a fraction of the price. The quality was nowhere near what you’d expect for such a premium charge. While I understand prices are rising everywhere, these prices are unreasonable, especially when the food doesn’t deliver. If the quality matched the cost, I wouldn’t mind, but this was just disappointing on every level: 33.50€ for 2 Guinness and a burger + tip. Stick to the drinks, enjoy the ambience, but skip the food unless you’re okay with paying too much for very little.

Service is simply top! There was a good dose of humor and the Guinness was filled correctly to the millimeter! If I hadn't had to take a train, I would still be sitting there now, eating the Guinness with a big grin like an eight-armed man. Gladly again

El desayuno irlandés en parte es bueno pero en parte pobre. Como era de esperar el desayuno era caro, pero para 2 cocas y 2 desayunos llegó a alrededor de 44 euros, que parecía empinado teniendo en cuenta que esta era la comida más cara de todo nuestro viaje. Los baños están un poco sucios, pero el desayuno hecho el trabajo. La duda regresaría.

Came here as tourists and had a wonderful time on NYE! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Security as well, they organized us a place to sit even though we didn't ask. Prices were okay honestly as expected in this area. Live music made the atmosphere perfect. This night is one for the books. :)

Un pub que siempre espero visitar en cualquier vacación que tome a esta fascinante ciudad es The Kilkenny Irish Pub, he estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años, siempre lo pasé bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un pub de gran aspecto, el interior es magnífico, un bar de servicio de aspecto muy fresco domina la sala principal, características de madera oscura abundan en todo este pub, gran decoración y mobiliario , pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub tanto en el interior como en el exterior mirando a las concurridas y bulliciosas calles alrededor de este pub. Estábamos aquí en una noche de diciembre amargamente fría, pub estaba ocupado con un gran ambiente, pedimos cervezas de Berliner Kindl Schultheiss Brauerei (cerveza Schultheiss ) y estos se sirven en excelentes condiciones siendo helado frío y espumoso, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este pub ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza estaba muy buena, una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en este pub, no es de extrañar que este pub sea tan popular entre las cervezas servidas en estas buenas condiciones. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a aquí nos lo pasamos muy bien. El Kilkenny Irish Pub es fácil de ubicar a lo largo de Am Zwirngraben, que es solo el famoso Hackescher Markt. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a domingo, abierto de 10 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en el distrito Mitte de Berlín.

Spent 3 out of my 4 days holiday here. The staff were so friendly and very attentive. The food was very tasty indeed. I highly recommend this place for food and drinks.

El Kilkenny Irish Pub está situado en la bulliciosa zona de Mitte y es un buen punto de parada antes de la cena y más tarde por la noche. Es un lugar muy grande y estaba razonablemente ocupado un miércoles por la noche. Tuvimos un par de bebidas y ambiente y la decoración era buena. Personal de servicio agradable y eficiente. Volveré de nuevo para una estancia más larga!

We had two fun evenings in the Irish pub at Hackescher Markt. The live music was atmospheric, there was a lot going on. It's a shame that there wasn't much Irish music played. The beers were mostly ok.

Este magnífico pub irlandés tiene un cavernoso interior de varias habitaciones con muchos accesorios y características interesantes y magníficas áreas de estar en todo su interior. Hay tres áreas separadas a este pub y todos se ven excelentes y cuando fuimos aquí estaba muy ocupado. Este es el mejor pub irlandés de Berlín y en el que hemos estado muchas veces antes. En nuestra visita tomamos unas pintas de cervezas alemanas locales que se sirvieron en perfectas condiciones y a muy buen precio. Really cozy Irish pub. Just as it should be. Fish and chips with Remu was delicious and the Stowford is always good anyway. Is really recommended. If I'm back in Berlin, I'll be back.

Very quaint pub. This is located in the station building. The seating was already very worn out. When we were there, we were told that the toilets could not be used today. Otherwise there is no toilet in the station building. You would have had to ask at another restaurant, so we just stayed for a drink.

Beer was awful. Went in with 4 couples. The ladies had cocktails, which were sent back as they were poor. I sent my beer back as it was awful. Wouldn't recommend this as a place to drink. They did refund us for the drinks and the waitress was fine

Too bad. Twelve of us wanted to celebrate my best friend's bachelorette party in this pub. However, we were denied an appointment two months in advance. He loves Irish pub culture and especially Kilkenny as his beer of choice. Will try elsewhere accordingly. For me, the best pub is the one that wants to welcome us as guests.

The Kilkenny is a very large pub, divided into three separate areas. We were there on two evenings and on each occasion there was live music, which, together with the rustic furnishings and the very attentive staff, created a great atmosphere. As the name suggests, you should order a Kilkenny beer here at least once, it's worth it! All in all a great address, gladly again.

We were here on a Monday so it might feel better/different later in the week but it was very much a station pub. My cider was ok, possibly watered down, but my bf had Kilkenny which was dire.
