Long wait at the bar and terrible toilet smell that went up all the way into the bar. I really wouldn’t recommend going here, especially since there are many other better bars in Sachsenhausen.

Unfortunately the whole place has deteriorated over the years. The toilets are absolute horror. Even if there is nothing going on, no service is offered. It's really a shame how a bar can go down like that.

We wanted to watch the European Championship game Poland - Austria today. Unfortunately, the TV was extremely faltering, so we didn't see all the goals. The beer was served in plastic cups because there were no longer any normal glasses. The ambience would be great, but a lot of things went wrong...

A very cozy Irish Pup, we went here several times because we really liked it. The guys and girls behind the counter are very nice. If we come to Frankfurt again, we will definitely visit the Irish Pup.

The food is solid fast food with no frills, the ambience is simple but comfortable (beer benches), the service staff is quick, confident and friendly. The only disadvantage: When the store is full, it seems as if there are simply not enough staff. You can sit in front of empty glasses for >30 minutes

The waitress added drinks from another group to our bill. When we had paid for our own drinks but refused to pay for other people's drinks, one of the bouncers was immediately called in to put pressure on us. Cheeky.

Not really comfortable. The lighting can definitely be improved. The cider on tap is very tasty. Prices are top. Recommended on Thursdays for the beer pong tournament. For other days there are better bars in Sachsenhausen.

I got to know the location during a carnival party (Frankfurt Alaaf). The pub is like a long hose; Especially in the bar area it was difficult to get through. The decoration was in typical Irish pub style including banknotes on the ceiling. There is a smoking area on the upper floor, which was mostly empty but comfortably furnished, with a view of the alleys of Alt-Sachsenhausen.

Rustic Irish pub in Frankfurt's Sachsenhausen pub district. I was there on Monday for the quiz and had a lot of fun. The questions were displayed on monitors in German and English and read out. The winners receive a prize in liquid form for each round of questions won and at the end the overall winner is determined.

The store is fine. The service is nice. Prices are OK but the atmosphere is mixed. So you can spend a nice evening here but it doesn't really blow me away.

Gude. Unfortunately I have to give one star because I waited over two hours to order, which wouldn't have been a problem, but the chicken wings weren't cold, they were ice cold... I strongly cannot recommend it

Langer, schlauchartiger Irish-Pub. Mitten in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. Sehr gute Musik Auswahl. Sehr gute Bedienungen und Super-Chef. Gerne beim nächsten Frankfurt Besuch wieder.

Bin sehr begeistert von dem Entertainment-Angebot vom O’Dwyers Pub wie zb Pub Quiz Night oder Beer Pong Turnier. Die Stimmung ist sehr cool und locker, die Getränke waren gut und hatten einen fairen Preis, das Essen war absolut in Ordnung und die Beilagen waren schön groß. Die Service Kraft war super lieb. Im allgemeinen immer einen Besuch wert! Es war nur etwas sehr warm - aber darauf stellt man sich bei den Temperaturen natürlich auch drauf ein.

Sehr schöner und gemütlicher Pub. Wer die bekannten Biersorten in einem Pub kennt und mag ist hier richtig. Zu essen hatten wir Chicken Wings die hervorragende geschmeckt haben. Wer in Sachsenhausen unterwegs ist sollte hier mal vorbeischauen.

Food was over by 10pm. Was personally wanting a party vibe but it wasn't the place. Cannot complain much.

ich habe schon sehr oft hier bestellt und das Essen hat mich noch nie enttäuscht. Der Burger und die Curly Fries sind eine zehn von zehn nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Cooler Pub mit Fußballübertragung, sehr freundlich Barkeeper und für den Hunger gibt es auch was. Die Burger und Fries sind richtig schmackhaft. Empfehlenswert.

Cooler Pub inmitten von Altsachsenhausen. Die hausgemachten Burger sind richtig lecker und die besten weit und breit. Am Donnerstag findet immer beer pong statt. Sehr netter Service.

Went to O'Dwyers hoping to watch an Irish Rugby game, was told they weren't showing the game. Ordered drinks anyway and they had a minimum spend of €15 by card and we didn't have cash which meant we had to stay for another drink to bring the tab over €15. It looks Irish and sound Irish but it's not an authentic Irish bar, what's more it smelled pretty bad in there.

Wollte mit einer Freundin dort hin zum Beerpong, wurden leider vom etwas aggressiven Barkeeper rausgeworfen weil ich kein Ausweis vorzeigen konnte. Wobei ich ein Foto vom Reisepass auf dem Handy gezeigt hab, ich denke er hat einfach eine Ausrede gesucht. Schienen ihm wohl nicht rein zu passen. (Ich bin 30 Jahre, überall tattoowiert...) und es war vor 0 Uhr...

Really unimpressed with o dwyers , I'm Irish so obviously an Irish pub is going to be top of my list for a pint, I don't see how this can be called an Irish pub just because it sells Guinness and hangs up some Irish memorabilia, the bartender had poor English and from what I could see from the rest of them the staff were made up of German and American people, once again not Irish , we were greeted at the door by a bouncer who was actually quite mannerly and just asked us for identification , there was sick on the floor beside the bar which I stood in, not impressed! There was music playing in the background which was one of few things attractive about the place and other than that the atmosphere was fairly dead for a place which seemed full ... would not recommend here for a pint

We were bar hopping trying to find a nice place to watch champions league football, have dinner and drinks. As we were not well prepared in order to book something nice, the only place we found available was this. There was no waiter available so we had to get our own drinks from the bar. As for food we had to be happy with packed nuts and crisps. What a waste of an evening in Frankfurt.

This was a grest Irish pub we visited as we were pub and bar hopping around Sachsenhausen and what a great find. This pub is sandwiched between Klaane Sachsenhauser and Wirthaus Dauth _Schneider so we decided to visit all three and O'Dwyers Irish Pub was the second pub we went to. This is your typical Irish pub,great decor and furnishings including all the Irish bric a brac you would expect to find in a good Irish pub and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub,it really is a cool pub and when we visited was packed. We were here on a Friday late evening and the atmosphere in here was superb,we got a guinness each and luckily managed to get a table were we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. Our guinness was outstandingly good ,rich and creamy and really tasty ,it made a nice change from the lager style beers we had been drinking earlier. These are the type of pubs I love to find on any holiday I take ,fun places serving great drinks and in a great location. We really enjoyed our guinness in here and although we only stayed for the one guinness before we moved on for a first time visit we were very impressed indeed with this great pub. O'Dwyers Irish Pub is easy to locate in the Sachsenhausen district in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday,5pm till 1am. Friday & Saturday,5pm till 3am. Sunday,5pm till 1am. A great pub and well worth checking out.

Der Laden war gut gefüllt, die Preise gesalzen, es roch nach Urin und Erbrochenen und der Weg zur Toilette war eine Zumutung, denn auf der Treppe sah man wo der Geruch hergekommen ist. Irisch ist hier nur der Name, der Rest ist in meinen Augen eine Abzocke.

I found this place chaotic and not very inviting. As the server was rather unfriendly and seemed not to care to take our order, we decided to leave before having anything to drink and head for the other Irish pub just around the corner...

..alles hier wirkt abgewrackt, es ist sehr dunkel, es riecht oben unangenehm nach schalem Bier und in den Toiletten riecht es auch. Es ist halt eine Kneipe, aber leider keine tolle. Bedienung ist recht freundlich aber die Preise sind auch für Frankfurt und gerade für Alt-Sachs doch recht hoch. 4 cl Ardbeg für 14 Euro !!! Später am Abend gibt es Karaoke, kann ganz nett sein - viel los war aber nicht. Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen.

we went here, mainly to watch the 2nd half of west brom v arsenal as it was the only bar with skysports, typical irish bar, busy, good selection of beer, i stood at the end of the bar to see the screen, as there were no seats, and a big cockney came over saying i was in his spot, and he had been coming here for 20 years and always stood there. so i moved over a bit, got talking to him a bit and he was your typicl arrogant cockney, crystal palace fan, who claimed to own (or run) the pub, if i wasnt a bit drunk i might has took offense, but i let it go,

I popped in for a quick beer and to watch a bit of football. They had sky sports with British premier league at one end of the pub and Germany football at the other. Good beer and friendly staff and customers, there were Germans and British customers. I am sure I will pop in again.

This is a great pub on the northern edge of Sachsenhausen. Good beer and friendly service. It use to be the serious hangout when Rhein Main Air Base was open. Good food too!

Terrible beer, horrible service by an American who was throwing insults at many people. Much better in this area. Also overpriced many many better places in this area.

Our last stop before heading back to our hotel. We should have come earlier! We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the music and the very well prepared Singapore Sling cocktails.

It depends on what you are expecting but this is really an original Irish bar as I woukd imagine it. The bar tenders are also English so order in English and the guest are primary English, too. On Saturday evenings they show English Premier League...

I prefer the Anglo Irish Pub, because the beer is cheaper, but there you can enjoy bigger place outdoor and you can listen music! The place is nice to start your night!
