Very cozy atmosphere and polite staff!

The burger was an absolute disgrace, the patty smelled sour, tasted strong and was completely unseasoned. Likewise the fries. Meat seems to be of very poor quality. There was also a lot of seasoning at the neighboring tables. Prices are extortionate. At least the staff is attentive and friendly.

Open late. Friendly team. Lots of tvs to watch sport.

Very good Irish pub to watch football. We didn't eat anything there, but had delicious snakebites and beer. The service could be a little quicker, but it was very friendly.

Dropped in for a full irish, slight confusion at the start with a standard irish being brought out but quickly rectified. Staff were friendly and was quiet and cool inside.

Went there on Sunday, got a table outside and my Mrs went to the bar to get a round. All very nice so far. Then after the first round, I went in to order a round and was told it was table service only. I waited for 30 mins or more and never got served. I decided it was to walk out and not eat the food and informed one of the serving staff of what happened. To which she replied "Thank you".

We spent two nights here watching games. We had food first night which was nice. Food was nice. Atmosphere was very nice and loads of TV's.

Nice Irish pub. You just have to get used to the fact that there is a QR code on the table instead of a memory card and drink menu. So without a smartphone it will be difficult. The service is friendly and helpful. Good selection for an Irish pub.

Food was descent. it would have been better if the waitress asked me if there was anything else. I would have liked mustard vs. mayo. Couldn't get her attention for anything.

My wife and I came here to grab a bite to eat thinking an Irish pub would have the Irish “basics” and sadly we were disappointed. Now to be fair, they apparently have a summer menu but we just wanted some simple fish and chips which wasn’t available. We decided to have a beer and seek food elsewhere. On a positive note, the beer was cold and they had a good selection. Plus, they had lost of staff and the service was good. On a hot day and needing a cold beer, I would definitely stop here again.

Very cool pub with a great atmosphere. The only bad thing is that you can't make a reservation on important match days and have to get there very early.

Usually good music for all tastes. Very warm and full on the weekends with either DJ and/or Karaoke. High share of men (70%+).

But you have to be prepared to spend money if you want to be really drunk 👍🏻

Nice service, but it takes a while to get something

The server brought us the wrong order and when we mentioned it, she exclaimed “Well I can’t read your mind, can I?!” The food was atrocious. Her supervisor ended up comping us both for meals and beverages, but this was the first time in my life where I had to speak to a shift supervisor as a patron in a restaurant. I gave so much empathy to our waitress and for her not to hold back at all was just so funny.

Rip off! I'm still stunned: I had to shell out €16.00 for a wafer-thin meatball with a slice of cheap cheese, a slice of tomato, two lettuce leaves and a portion of lukewarm fries! These are not city prices, they are simply a rip-off. We also had a salad with goat cheese, also here: cost of goods approx. €3.00, also cost €16.00. In addition, the food was almost inedible. The service was also unfriendly because she blamed me as a customer for a misplaced order and then ignored us. It started off quite well, as I ordered a burger without a bun due to a wheat allergy, which was easily possible. But what happened next was just an outrageous disaster. I like to pay decent prices for decent food and I also like to pay a premium for a special ambience or a special location. But this is really a gastronomic low point, as something didn't just go wrong on a bad day, but rather the rip-off has a system. Due to this outrageousness, no other rating than zero stars is conceivable.

The mood was great. Bar staff either too slow or not enough people - I waited at the counter for at least 10 minutes (was actually at the front). Music brought the mood but the DJ and his transitions were really a disaster.

One hour late in opening for door issues. Went for breakfast which is only on at weekends. Cold bacon and no toast… French bread. Pub decided to show the rugby outside despite everyone being there for the euros… one table of rugby fans versus loads of football fans. Bar decline to change Tv… after two hours of waiting we left and went elsewhere.. would not go back if u paid me.

The pub is nice with great atmosphere. It is a good place to watch sports games. tons of screens so wherever you sit, you can see the game. There is a variety of good drinks and food . Most of the staff are nice and helpful, however this one server, has a very unfriendly attitude against certain customers. First of all, I wasn’t finished with my drink, but it looked as if it were almost empty and the server did not ask if he could take the empty glass but instead, he just poked the glass to see if it was empty or not, I tried to understand this kind of behavior since it was a game night and super busy, but the most rude thing happened when I got my second drink, instead of handing me the drink, or putting it down on the table, like a normal server would do - he shoved the tray with the drink to my face and insisted that I should take it by myself. This action even shocked the other guests around us, because this kind of attitude was only shown to us, and not to the other guests. I would have understood this behavior if it were to all of the customers but he was friendly to others and rude to us, which is intolerable. If one doesn’t like to serve a certain type of customers, then i think this type of person should not work in this industry at all.

Sold during the European Championships Guinness in tiny plastic cups without a calibration mark (illegally) for a mere 7 euros. No thanks.

If you like beer and tasty snacks - it is the right place to visit. I ordered Guinness and French fries - all were perfect. The service is also amazing, it is fast and you are not left alone for a long time. The pub itself is nice, there are tables both inside and outside. Online reservation is possible for those that placed outside. If is better to do it in advance in case of sports events. I highly recommend to visit this bar with friends, colleagues and family.

Nice atmosphere, international flair, no entrance fee, friendly and fair door policy. Good choice of drinks, fair prices, footballatches on screen, karaoke night to be recommended.

We wanted to come with 20 people and make reservations, because it's rare to just arrive somewhere with 20 people and get a place. The employees then became super rude, unfriendly and disrespectful. Instead of making the most of your sales, you'd rather scare away your customers. Better go somewhere else!

We were here to have a dinner, beer and watch ice hockey championship final. The waitress switched the tv off in the last minut although it was only 22:45. Never seen such unpolite approach.

Most Irish bars have lots more televisions and various sports playing. Here they are quite rigid on what they will show. For instance, I asked if they could put the cricket on as it was very empty, but they insisted on showing an ice hockey rematch from two days previous.

In itself a nice pub with a covered outdoor area, which is also heated in colder temperatures, and a second outdoor area in front of it. Beer tastes good and there is a good selection. Burgers taste good too, but they're nothing special. The employees are always friendly too. After a certain time there is no longer any service outside, but we were not informed of this.

The service was slow but the waiter apologized once she was finally able to take our drink order at our table. After table service outside, we went inside for Dj Dripzz and it was so much fun!! He definitely made up for the slow service and all my friends had a great time. We were able to pay by card for everything, no cash necessary.

Perfect place! Great beer! Excellent service (note that the waiters only speak English (they don’t even know much German))! Great atmosphere! For those who like to watch football not alone in front of the TV, but almost like in a stadium, but in warmth and comfort, this is a must! On Friday and Saturday from 22:00 there is a DJ (fashionable popular music, people actively dance, which frees up space on the ground floor). Overall, a great place. I recommend!

Pathetic place. We came here on Saturday around 7pm. Only half the seats were occupied and they told us very rudely to wait for an hour because they were full. They clearly were not. Other potential customers were sent away as well. Whatever the reason they need to sort this out.

The music is a little old-fashioned, giving the impression that people in their 40s would enjoy it. I had made a reservation for the second floor, but they never came to take my order, which was quite stressful. Service needs improvement.

So they won't take an order for food at 8.15 as the kitchen closes at 8:30. Offered wings or nachos but no main menu Items. I have never heard this before anywhere and I've been to a lot of pubs. NGB !

Extremely friendly staff that's also bilingual. Greeted us immediately and gave us suggestions on what the locals order. The beer that was suggested was completely amazing. The food was great and came out in a reasonable time. The waitress checked in on us throughout our visit. Prices were decent ( I ordered a burger, fries, and two tall beers.. The total was 31 Euro)

My visit to this place was generally pleasant, however the experience was marred by the behavior of one particular waiter, who is bald, speaks only English and served us around 9pm. Unfortunately, he seemed to deliberately manipulate two orders to our disadvantage: 1. Although we had clearly ordered Nachos & Cheese, he inquired whether we would prefer the more expensive Vegetarian Nachos instead, at an additional charge of €5. Despite our decision against this offer, he served us the more expensive Vegetarian Nachos. 2. Instead of the Radler we wanted, he brought us a Pils, which was not only more expensive, but also more intense in taste. I paid the increased amount without discussion so as not to further disrupt the evening. However, I would like to warn other guests: Be vigilant, there is a risk of intentional taking advantage.

Great place to watch sport while eating and drinking

Horrible bar being inside, they kick you out because you stop in the wrong place wanting to order a drink, the police arrived and they let me in, but what's the need? The manager and the bartender are despotic people.

We were there in the evening during the week. It was well filled, but we had reserved, so no problem. The service speaks English, but not a problem for most people. Ambience of a classic pub outside of the UK. We had burgers and fries for dinner… and I have to be honest, it was probably the worst burger of my life. Dry, unseasoned and generally just sad. Definitely great for a pint or two. There is only one star for the food.

It's long ago since this place has been a good bar. The music the DJ is playing got stuck 15-20 years ago, making it even worse by awful and annoying remixes. The staff is completely unprofessional. They're fighting out their internal conflicts in front of guests and to the guest's detriment. Prices are exaggerated, for drinks as well as for food, and food is really nothing special.

We had a really nice evening, Quiz Night on Mondays. Lots of fun, interactive. I would definitely do it again.

It is the go to for me after work and to watch F1 race. Staff are super friendly and the Sunday roast takes back to my time in the UK!

A typical Irish pub. Prices a bit high but good ambience. Persona friendly. Only speak English, which wasn't a problem for me, but not recommended for people with poor English.

Why is the bar upstairs closed when the place is completely full.

We paid, still had something in the glasses, the waitress came back after 2 minutes & asked us why the hell we were still there after paying, so that wasn't enough, he took a glass and pretended to drink it & told us that people would wait outside. How cheeky can you be, we shouldn't have reacted so politely. Clearly not a recommendation!!

Weak staff. After waiting for 30 minutes, we went to the bar. However, only cash payment is possible there and that in the year 2024. Card payment only to the waiter, who couldn't be found. When I asked at the door which waiter I could pay to, I was directed to an ATM 5 minutes from the bar.

Had a lovely evening of rugby and football at Waxy's. Compliments to the service! Even though it was very busy, the drinks came quickly and reliably. We were pleasantly surprised when the tables were cleared out and a DJ played!

The employees are very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the place is also very nice. I ordered hamburger and cider; I liked them both very much. The portion just seemed a little small to me. It's also a little expensive compared to FFM.

Expensive bar with poor service & flat pilsner

Beer is good, but the service is not. Today, we arrived at 10:10 pm, but it was already the last call, so we were (in a very unpleasant way) not served.

Sitze gerade hier und bislang war alles super, wären also 5 Sterne geworden. Leider musste ich bei dem dritten Glas Wein feststellen, dass er ganz offensichtlich mit Wasser verdünnt wurde, das geht garnicht. Ausserdem hat ab 2200 die Bedienung im (beheizten) Außenbereich den Dienst eingestellt, das finde ich ebenfalls fragwürdig. Echt schade, der Abend hatte echt schön begonnen.

Etwas besonderes, trotz Sportbar kann man sich hier gut unterhalten, die Speiskarte ist fettlastig aber lecker, Pommes- und Hamburgerliebhaber kommen voll auf ihre Kosten. Die Bedienung ist super nett, aber es sind einfach zu wenige..... dafür ist die spürbar gute Stimmung perfekt

It was awful experience, there was huge queue front of the bar and bar staff was so slow and they didn’t service well.I waited 45 minutes just for 2 beers.
