MULLIGAN'S - Irish Pub, Bar und Grill in Nürnberg

The food is okay, and they also serve Mahr beer. The drinks aren't cheap; I'm willing to pay the price and tip, but the waiters are incredibly unfriendly, which ruins a pub where people are always chatting. Edit: Even better, my review is now being removed (again, for the fourth time now) because it's impossible to verify whether I've ever been there. It's funny that I know they serve Mahr beer without ever having been there... Good thing I still have the bill/receipt...

During a visit to Nuremberg, I visited an Irish pub for the first time in a long time. The ambiance and, above all, the delicious Guinness are absolute highlights. I immediately felt at home and would gladly return.

Awesome place, you feel at home here, everything's just right. The delicious Guinness, the super-friendly service, the wallpaper..., really top-notch. The place was filled with nice people, the food was great, and the prices were still reasonable. A visit is worthwhile.

Decent bar , set out American style. Lots of stalls at the bar with booths dotted about. Friendly staff who had a laugh with us as our mate fell asleep. Haha. Cheers

Very nice place just steps from the station, with very kind and attentive staff. A bonus because it was the only place with a kitchen open past 10 pm. The food was very good and plentiful, with several vegetarian options. The only small flaw is the dim lighting at the outdoor tables; perhaps the small table light isn't enough. :)

A relaxed place to enjoy a Guinness. The staff is well-organized and always has a good joke. The crispy chicken is also really good. I highly recommend stopping by for a quick stop and just unwinding.

Came for a few drinks with a large group from the UK. The staff were incredible, very attentive and looked after us all night. Mairead was especially wonderful and made sure our drinks were filled all night. The atmosphere is 10/10. Would highly recommend.

Good if you’re English, Very nice bar and they have some English staff members so it saves the language barrier that everywhere else seems to have. Also not very expensive and extremely honest, we over paid by a large amount and they came straight back out to give it to us. Highly recommend 👍

In a city with many a “burger joint” the Dirty Mulligan is a fantastic burger in an unlikely place! We have enjoyed two dinners here in as many days, and both times have been delish and the staff very accommodating, whether at the bar or at a table. Even earned ourselves a special dessert on the house for making an impression, I guess!

Nice pub with TVs, a variety of live sports and sometimes with live music. Attentive service and acceptable price/performance ratio for the food. And of course Guinness, Strongbow and other Irish delicacies.

Esperamos demasiado tiempo para la comida, pero lo peor es que el sabor estaba lejos de lo que esperábamos. Tampoco el Guinness tenía el sabor que debería tener. El servicio era bueno. Tuvimos suerte de encontrar una mesa después de un tiempo. No aceptan reservas.

We were here in August 2022, passing through. It was late evening, there was very little time to choose a place for dinner. I wanted to try something simple and Bavarian. In the nearby places there were no suitable dishes or anything else. In general, we stumbled upon this wonderful place by chance and without any special expectations we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and served politely and courteously. The dish was very tasty and impressive in terms of size! We literally fell in love with these Bavarian sausages. Would you come back again? Definitely! We recommend.

We were in the entrance area and looked to see if there was football (women's football) going on there. Didn't like it. The waiter came directly to us and asked attentively what we were looking for. He turned the game on for us straight away. Thanks for that. We only drank and can't really say much about the rest.

The background noise is insane. You can't have a good conversation. Very loud and the many screens unfortunately have nothing to do with an Irishpup.

Visiting Nürnberg I wanted to drink a real Bier. Found a Irish pub, Mulligans,where I've got one original Guinness dark. And a very pretty waitress. 5 stars from my heart

I visited Mulligans whilst I was visiting Nuremberg! We went for drinks and some food, the burgers are 👌🏻👌🏻. Big shout out to our waitress Mairead who was such a big help. I don’t speak any German so speaking to someone in English was really useful and I have a list of places to visit over my weekend. I will definitely come again if I visit again 👏🏻

If laughter were a drink, Timmy would be serving it by the pint! His quick wit, Irish charm, and perfectly timed jokes had us laughing all night. Between the great drinks and laughter he made our visit to Mulligans unforgettable—Cheers to Timmy!

Mairead was the best bartender I've experienced in a long time! Very friendly, vocal, and relatable! She kep my drinks full, left me laughing, and made me truly feel like I mattered. I can't wait to come back again!

Came in for 1, still there after 9 hours. Great staff (14/2), tried some drinks. Strawberry cheesecake is gorgeous shot.

Everything was good, the service surprisingly only spoke English, but somehow it fits the pub. If it wasn't 700 km away, I would come more often. I missed a dartboard.

Atmosphere good but my Hop House 13 beer was not chilled and actually wasn't hop house 13. I mentioned this and was told it's always like this?? Only stopped for 1.

If there was a prize for the unfriendly bar girl in Germany, then the little dark-haired waitress would be way ahead. Sorry I wanted to order some food! The food was presented without comment. Not a word, not a look, no nothing. The kitchen staff seems to be better. If there was no SKY, the store would be a no-go for me

Just a cool shop. We wanted a little something (chips with dip) to go with our drink. But unfortunately we didn't get anything more. They said the kitchen was closed. But then we saw that two more plates came out. We thought it was a shame. Service mainly in English.

After sitting at the table for an hour, we were told to please move because a reservation was coming. In my opinion, it's just unfortunate timing, if you communicate this clearly at the beginning or put up a card then it's no problem, but then simply saying after ordering the food "just sit down somewhere" is a bit stupid. The food was delicious and the pub also has a very nice atmosphere, so I will give it a second chance.

Please don't get impatient, you will be served at some point...

Around 11:30 a lot of people were standing in front of a table in the back corner, which was very loud, so the ambience was quite tiring and we could hardly have a conversation

I visited this bar with my wife. We ordered a Guinness, salad and a veggie burger. The food and the drink were good. A nice place to come and relax after a busy day.

Worst experience I have had at any restaurant in my life, and I have been to 100s of restaurants for my work and on holidays. Ordered Irish stew and it was like a soup. The potato soup was equally as bad. When we asked to replace the meal the waitress said she would get the manager but never did. We had ordered meals for two people but did not eat any of it but they demanded payment.

Place was packed to watch Liverpool vs Man City. Drinks and service were solid. Be sure to arrive at least 45 minutes early for bigger games like this or reserve a seat in advance.

Cool Irish pub in the immediate vicinity of the main train station with a good selection of beer and the opportunity to watch football. I had an a U from the Mahrs brewery in Bamberg that I thought was very good. In addition to Heineken and Guinness, every beer lover should get their taste.

Me and my friends have been to this shop twice so far when we couldn't get a seat in the other pub, I have to say, even back then I found the bartenders and service very unfriendly, but it was ok to drink a few Guinness! Yesterday was the third and last time, the place wasn't completely full, we sat right at the bar and were ignored for three quarters of an hour. When my friend asked the bartender if we would be served, he just yelled at him! As the pub filled up we asked if you were showing the PL game, they then said you were only showing the Bayern game! The whole bar was full of fans who wanted to watch the Premiere League game, after I said "you have 6 monitors there, you can show the PL game on the little one that is at the bar where the other fans are sitting!" I was asked We then went to Finnegans where we found a place that had 5 monitors, 4 of them showed the PL game! Great thing! Never do that again! let's go In this shop, it's not a pub, certainly not a sports bar.

Try the fish and chips, the fish was fried fresh not frozen. Not sure if the service was slow because of the Christmas market, but the wait was well worth it.

Not forced, not themed – just effortlessly genuine. And the service? Exceptional. Being a proper barman is an art form, and at Mulligans, it’s a masterpiece. A pint of Guinness isn’t just poured here; it’s crafted. It takes time, as it should, and when it arrives, it’s worth every second. Creamy, rich, and exactly as it should be. The food is great too – proper pub grub, hearty and satisfying. You’re not here for molecular gastronomy; you’re here for good, honest dishes that pair perfectly with a second pint. Or a third. Mulligans gets everything right. The atmosphere is warm and buzzing without being chaotic. The crowd is a mix of locals, expats, and travellers who know they’ve stumbled onto something special. We were in Nuremberg for one night and ended up in Mulligan's by chance. There is a good selection of beers. In addition to the classics like Guinness and Kilkenny, there are also a few others 'on tap'. There is cider and I noticed a good selection of whiskey and gin on the menu. The atmosphere is very good and the service was super friendly and quick.

Food ain't the best but the staff and ambience are pretty nice !
