The food was very good and reasonably priced. The beer prices are typical for a pub.

We love coming to this pub and love dining here and enjoying the Black Velvet (with Strongbow Cider). The staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and accommodating. High praise for them. The food is also excellent, and we have never been disappointed. In summer, you can sit comfortably in the beer garden right in front of the pub and have a great time, as the pub is located on the pedestrian zone. In the stylishly furnished pub, you can watch live sporting events on many screens. We also highly recommend the sister pub, O'Sheas (with a beer garden right on the Pegnitz River), which we also enjoy visiting.

I was there to watch football. During the game, the picture kept cutting out. I also ordered BBQ spare ribs. Instead of BBQ sauce, they were literally smothered in tomato sauce. The ribs tasted like ravioli. After I complained, they claimed it was BBQ sauce. I was charged the full amount.

The visit to the Irish pub was a real highlight! From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a warm, authentic atmosphere – dark wood, cozy booths, and good music create an ambiance that invites you to linger. The food was excellent: juicy burgers, and even vegan options. The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired: Guinness on tap and aromatic whiskeys provide a truly enjoyable experience. The service is particularly noteworthy: attentive, friendly, and always cheerful. The location is also ideal – central, yet quiet. A place you'll gladly return to!

A piece of Ireland 🇮🇪 (Dublin) in the heart of Nuremberg. A pub culture that's truly enjoyable. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and sometimes very authentic (Irish or British). The food is typically traditional and very good. This place is always worth a visit!

We wanted to come here to watch football at the conference. Since DAZN has now taken over, we're only showing the single match at noon on Sky. The staff aren't particularly talkative.

Great food, good drink selection, even a Guinness photo machine. Attentive, very friendly, and always in a good mood. Becks and Roxi have wonderful accents; you'd think you were in Dublin. The only reason I deducted half a point is that there's no dartboard.

When in Nuremberg, a visit to Finnegan’s Irish pub is an absolute must. Great food, great staff, great beer, brilliant craic and plenty of football being shown if you require it. Been there a number of times in the last 12 months over three visits and have always been made very welcome by the Finnegan’s team. I recommend the Augustiner Helles for your first pint to wash down the fish and chips! Superb.

A welcoming pub with an excellent selection of quality beers. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-kept, perfect for an evening with friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling, and speaks excellent English, making the experience even more international. Recommended for those looking for an authentic place to enjoy a good pint in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly and quick service, delicious Irish stout, just the right amount of chilled, and a pleasant, authentic atmosphere. Prices are a bit steep for my taste. Still, highly recommended!

It all seems like a tourist attraction for foreigners. While everything is very clean and tidy, it somehow lacks the authentic charm of a real Irish pub.

Friendly service, we were satisfied

I didn't eat anything here; I only drink cocktails, which I'm not a fan of, but my friends wanted to go, so I went. The atmosphere was nice. I understand it has a dedicated clientele. The interior is beautifully decorated and authentic. I was happy to see it in this city I came to as a tourist, and my friends also enjoyed their beers. I'm not sure if the waiter was the owner, but he was a nice guy. Thank you.

The food was good. There is a small selection of "pub" food, such as shepherd's pie, bangers and mash and fish and chips. The waiter was quick and attentive, but not much of a smile. A nice place for a beer or a meal.

Absolutely the best Guinness on tap in a long time. Finally, someone who knows how to do it right.

Drinks are expensive, music is some of the worst I've ever heard, and the patrons are intrusive. I wouldn't go here again.

We popped in for the f1 on a Sunday afterbooon in June. Really nice outfit here. Spacey inside and out; not expensive given how central and close to the train station and pleasant vibes. Would definitely recommend for English speakers and those wanting sport on TV.

We had a fantastic Caesar wrap with wedges here—the best in our opinion, and we've had similar ones several times in different places over the past few days. This one was truly exceptional, and we highly recommend it!

Well, supermarket quality as far as the food goes. The meat is watery, barely flavorful, nothing homemade, just frozen. Maybe it's based on the motto that the customer is tipsy or stupid. Pfff, really cheeky. Well, not worth the money.

Breakfast was tasty but not fully on par with a typical Irish breakfast you'd get in Ireland - no white/black puddings, no complementary tea/coffee etc. Reasonably expensive for the food/drinks but that seems to be the norm in the area. Service was very slow; when a larger group who arrived after us managed to get their food served before us, we questioned the delay and were told to look around and see that it's busy... Anyways, we lost more time here than expected which limited the time we had to explore the city before our train

Here you can spend the day relaxing and enjoying Kilkenny in peace.

A great Irish pub, the drinks were typical for an Irish pub. The waitress was actually extremely annoyed at the end, which I didn't understand, but they were passing this on to the customer.

The drinks are fine, a choise of stouts, beers and whiskeys is a good one. The service is not the best feature. Have seen worse, though. The fish'n'chips is just NOT EDIBLE. Have no idea how a person may be able to cook it that way and to serve it to the visitors.

Rustic, cozy pub with live football, a relaxed atmosphere, a delicious selection of beers and down-to-earth food for when you're hungry. You actually feel a bit as if you are no longer in Nuremberg, but on the island. The service is attentive and friendly, you can't complain about the price either, we'll definitely be back before the next away game!

Very nice pub - motivated, nice service, cool crowd and fair prices - Guinness is currently not available but there were other stouts - we were also allowed to take our drinks out - again immediately!

We generally love being in this pub! But today it only deserves one star: we sat for several minutes in the sparsely occupied restaurant. And the service employee/waiter was at the next table three times (!). But he didn't want to see us, or was too much 'in another world'... It's a shame - but that shouldn't happen. Even when we got up to leave, he only looked up briefly and didn't say anything...

Also very popular with tourists and recommended!

There is always a very nice Guinness, but the price is already impressive! I always enjoy going there whenever I'm in Nuremberg again.

It used to be a regular place, but with hearing loss I don't want to get older any faster despite good service and decent food. Unbearably loud mix of music and TV broadcast (darts).

Were at the Christmas market and wanted to go to the pup with 6 of us…. However, we were given space with shards and small splinters because someone broke a glass at the table!!!! After 45 minutes of waiting, no one came!!!! Impertinent and very disappointed! Then they left again.

Sully was an awesome bartender. He services the patrons very well if you know what I mean 🍆💦. Definitely recommend this bar and the trifecta of Irish pubs in this area of Nuremburg . Fyi: Finnegans closes at 1am, migrate to Mulligans till they close at 3am, then to Kilians at 5am. It was quite an adventure meeting this group of Irish pub bartenders and their friends

Amazing pub, the bartender is very friendly and humorist. There is a variety of beer selection and I must say they are pretty delicious. So if you are looking for somewhere else to get drinks after your dinner, this is the right destination! 👍🏻

Great place to go for a pint of Guinness, watch a match, have a bite or just hang out. The space around the bar is limited, but they also have some tables in a wider space in the back. Try the BLT and wash it down with a beer!

Nice and quite large place. Beautifully decorated. Dark brown wood and green leather (or faux leather). Historical posters all around. Great selections of drinks and a decent menu. The steak I had today for my birthday lunch was cooked to perfection, the sauce really delicious and the fries excellent. Good food. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Everything was clean and seems well kept and maintained. Slowly becoming my favorite.

It's always nice to be there, no matter whether you just drink a coffee or eat something there.

Lovely pub with great atmosphere, but the staff are very weird, never acknowledge you when you make an order, completely ignore you but then still serve the drinks. Plus they have a questionable money spending policy where you have to spend over 15 euros to pay by card.

Never again. We had reserved a table. When we arrived they had forgotten our reservation. Of course there was no free table (everything was full on Friday evening). We were then seated at a high table right next to the toilets after the guests who were sitting there were asked to make room, who knows where??!! No service came for ages, we just kept calling so we could finally order. The food tastes and looks below all else. Please people don't eat the "wings", they are not the wings you would normally imagine but chicken wings baked without seasoning, not even brown and the sauce bought ready made from the ketchup bottle. Just disgusting and not worth a cent. My friends' food wasn't any better either. I regret leaving my money there.

If we had been staying on Nuremberg we would have sat on and not rushed off to get a train. Couldn't believe that we got chatting to Declan and discovered he was basically a neighbour from back home! Lol

All that was missing was music 😊

It's absolutely understandable if you want to close earlier on a day that's not that busy - but don't let us order another round if you don't even give us another 10 mins. We were able to order another drink but basically not allowed to finish it.
