Finnegan's Harp Irish Pub in Nürnberg

We generally love being in this pub! But today it only deserves one star: we sat for several minutes in the sparsely occupied restaurant. And the service employee/waiter was at the next table three times (!). But he didn't want to see us, or was too much 'in another world'... It's a shame - but that shouldn't happen. Even when we got up to leave, he only looked up briefly and didn't say anything...

Also very popular with tourists and recommended!

There is always a very nice Guinness, but the price is already impressive! I always enjoy going there whenever I'm in Nuremberg again.

Proper irish pub, the staff was nice and chill. The beer is good, the ambiance was Nice. The chicken could’ve been better, but the chips are making up for it. Would definitely visit again!

A warm and welcoming atmosphere was just what we needed after exploring Nuremberg. Our hosts provided excellent service and some local knowledge.

Excellent food ! Many items were sold out due to holidays but we had delicious salads sandwiches and schnitzel. Wonderful server and fun atmosphere. Will return.

The prices are fair. Service today was quick and attentive. The sandwiches (BLT) and fries were very good. Ambience is exactly what you would expect in an Irish pub.

It used to be a regular place, but with hearing loss I don't want to get older any faster despite good service and decent food. Unbearably loud mix of music and TV broadcast (darts).

Were at the Christmas market and wanted to go to the pup with 6 of us…. However, we were given space with shards and small splinters because someone broke a glass at the table!!!! After 45 minutes of waiting, no one came!!!! Impertinent and very disappointed! Then they left again.

We had a nice evening with some good friends. The service was really quick, even though the store was pretty full.

Food is good. Recommend chicken wings. Unfortunately the prices are now very high. There is also no more New Castle Brown Ale and Hobgoblin.

Sully was an awesome bartender. He services the patrons very well if you know what I mean 🍆💦. Definitely recommend this bar and the trifecta of Irish pubs in this area of Nuremburg . Fyi: Finnegans closes at 1am, migrate to Mulligans till they close at 3am, then to Kilians at 5am. It was quite an adventure meeting this group of Irish pub bartenders and their friends

Amazing pub, the bartender is very friendly and humorist. There is a variety of beer selection and I must say they are pretty delicious. So if you are looking for somewhere else to get drinks after your dinner, this is the right destination! 👍🏻

Great place to go for a pint of Guinness, watch a match, have a bite or just hang out. The space around the bar is limited, but they also have some tables in a wider space in the back. Try the BLT and wash it down with a beer!

Nice pub in the center. The waiter was really nice and spoke english very well. Helps that the game we were watching ended the way we had hoped

Service was very friendly. The toilet is surprisingly modern and clean. The restaurant itself is good, but in my opinion it's not outstanding either. Unfortunately there was nothing to eat at such a late hour, it was already midnight.

Great Irish pub food in the heart of Nuremburg. Most staff are very friendly and crack jokes to keep the mood light. Will happily eat there again, although the prices have drastically increased (almost doubling) over the past few years. Excellent fish and chips, Guinness and Irish breakfast 😋

Unfortunately, regular guests who are friends with the owner are allowed to behave aggressively towards other guests without any consequences.

Great burgers and fries, very nice surroundings and polite staff

Nice and quite large place. Beautifully decorated. Dark brown wood and green leather (or faux leather). Historical posters all around. Great selections of drinks and a decent menu. The steak I had today for my birthday lunch was cooked to perfection, the sauce really delicious and the fries excellent. Good food. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Everything was clean and seems well kept and maintained. Slowly becoming my favorite.

It's always nice to be there, no matter whether you just drink a coffee or eat something there.

Lovely pub with great atmosphere, but the staff are very weird, never acknowledge you when you make an order, completely ignore you but then still serve the drinks. Plus they have a questionable money spending policy where you have to spend over 15 euros to pay by card.

If we had been staying on Nuremberg we would have sat on and not rushed off to get a train. Couldn't believe that we got chatting to Declan and discovered he was basically a neighbour from back home! Lol

Never again. We had reserved a table. When we arrived they had forgotten our reservation. Of course there was no free table (everything was full on Friday evening). We were then seated at a high table right next to the toilets after the guests who were sitting there were asked to make room, who knows where??!! No service came for ages, we just kept calling so we could finally order. The food tastes and looks below all else. Please people don't eat the "wings", they are not the wings you would normally imagine but chicken wings baked without seasoning, not even brown and the sauce bought ready made from the ketchup bottle. Just disgusting and not worth a cent. My friends' food wasn't any better either. I regret leaving my money there.

It's absolutely understandable if you want to close earlier on a day that's not that busy - but don't let us order another round if you don't even give us another 10 mins. We were able to order another drink but basically not allowed to finish it.

Super nice staff...you just have to wipe the tables sometimes. Otherwise, sit down and feel good.

Considering that it is a top tourist hotspot, the prices are still acceptable compared to Germany. The food, I had a BLT sandwich. It was fresh, tasty, sufficient and good value for money. The employees only partially speak German, but they are all really friendly. It was also nice that everyone was genuinely happy about the tip (~10%). Is sometimes taken for granted in other stores. Oh yes: football is also going on. We were able to watch the Champions League (BvB) on DAZN. Conclusion: Fully recommended!

As an American visiting Nuremberg, I had a fun night drinking here. All the staff and a lot of the patrons speak excellent English and are very friendly. The drinks were very reasonably priced as well. The Jager was flowing and I had a blast!

We didn't eat anything. Instead we enjoyed the sun outside with delicious Kilkenny. At some point you have to go to the toilet and so I saw the inside of the great pub. I like it a lot and you can also watch football.

For me as a UK citizen living in Nuremberg the Finnegan’s Harp Pub is always a great place to meet other Brits and Irish People. It’s also a lovely and beautiful pub to stay. Prices compared to the rest of the bars and pubs in nuremberg are high. Staff is always friendly and they put my teams Football game on even though Bayern was playing. Well appreciated!

Didnt have anything to eat here but I can comment on the staff. They are extremely friendly, funny & welcoming. Becky , Paul and Ross are awesome people! This bar is definitely a great vibe. Love it here & will return anytime I am Germany.

The pub is really authentic, the food is good, but the whole place somehow makes you want to drink more. The ambience is great, you feel like you've been transported from Nuremberg to Dublin when you walk through the door.

I was cheated out of €5. When asked about it, we were of course very sure... it could happen, but still not nice

Super Location, tolle Außensitzplätze. Personal durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Große Auswahl an Biersorten und alles vom Fass. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ein Besuch, zumal sie Hop House 13 on tap haben.

Good but way too expensive for a family

Asked if they were showing the Olympics track and field finals, only for the staff and, who I assume, was the manager laugh at us and reply "maybe..." Confused by their attitude, we asked again and they kept laughing and say "maybe if we have good signal". After this we realized they were making fun of us, so we left. Ended up at Mulligans instead, a few meters away. Much better attitude and atmosphere, never coming back to this place.

This has always been one of my favorite pubs to go to while I'm here in Nürnberg. We always have a great time and the staff is always amazing. I was shocked that the food was as good as it was. Everything we ordered was packed full of flavor and a big portion for extremely reasonable prices. I definitely come here for the Guinness, but now it will also be a great place for a quick bite or full on meal. This place definitely has a very laid back type of atmosphere but feels authentic Irish.

Under all the guns - the waitress complains in English about German and Bavarians plus the nice word asshole three times - got up and left without ordering anything - sorry, that's not possible and should be canceled immediately

Went for beers and they didn't disappoint, they had beers. We didn't get to try the food, because we went after 10 pm, but the beers tasted good, they were cool and they arrived super fast. Excellent service.

A really nice and friendly Irish pub, great location, all European Championship games are broadcast live, food and drinks are absolutely top. But the best thing is actually the super relaxed and friendly waitresses/bartenders. You feel like you're on the island, very cool lads. When it comes to this, there are apparently some reviewers here who see it completely differently. It really doesn't make sense to me at all. But unfortunately typical German paranoia. Please ignore these negative words and form your own opinion. To be honest, I have rarely been so impressed by the work mentality and the composure of the employees, as well as always being approachable and open to a conversation and all with joy. Will come again with friends! ✌🏻

The atmosphere here just wasn't pleasant, visiting to watch the football, and left before it kicked off to a much better bar round the corner. The managers behind the bar were so rude to their staff, no one smiled. And the lager here tastes pretty bad too, won't be returning.

When in Nuremberg, a visit to Finnegan’s Irish pub is an absolute must. Great food, great staff, great beer, brilliant craic and plenty of football being shown if you require it. Been there a number of times in the last 12 months over three visits and have always been made very welcome by the Finnegan’s team. I recommend the Augustiner Helles for your first pint to wash down the fish and chips! Superb.

Bartender was a bit abrupt and not particularly friendly. Good venue, though, with a good atmosphere and lots of TV's for sport
