This has always been one of my favorite pubs to go to while I'm here in Nürnberg. We always have a great time and the staff is always amazing. I was shocked that the food was as good as it was. Everything we ordered was packed full of flavor and a big portion for extremely reasonable prices. I definitely come here for the Guinness, but now it will also be a great place for a quick bite or full on meal. This place definitely has a very laid back type of atmosphere but feels authentic Irish.

Asked if they were showing the Olympics track and field finals, only for the staff and, who I assume, was the manager laugh at us and reply "maybe..." Confused by their attitude, we asked again and they kept laughing and say "maybe if we have good signal". After this we realized they were making fun of us, so we left. Ended up at Mulligans instead, a few meters away. Much better attitude and atmosphere, never coming back to this place.

Under all the guns - the waitress complains in English about German and Bavarians plus the nice word asshole three times - got up and left without ordering anything - sorry, that's not possible and should be canceled immediately

Went for beers and they didn't disappoint, they had beers. We didn't get to try the food, because we went after 10 pm, but the beers tasted good, they were cool and they arrived super fast. Excellent service.

A really nice and friendly Irish pub, great location, all European Championship games are broadcast live, food and drinks are absolutely top. But the best thing is actually the super relaxed and friendly waitresses/bartenders. You feel like you're on the island, very cool lads. When it comes to this, there are apparently some reviewers here who see it completely differently. It really doesn't make sense to me at all. But unfortunately typical German paranoia. Please ignore these negative words and form your own opinion. To be honest, I have rarely been so impressed by the work mentality and the composure of the employees, as well as always being approachable and open to a conversation and all with joy. Will come again with friends! ✌🏻

The atmosphere here just wasn't pleasant, visiting to watch the football, and left before it kicked off to a much better bar round the corner. The managers behind the bar were so rude to their staff, no one smiled. And the lager here tastes pretty bad too, won't be returning.

When in Nuremberg, a visit to Finnegan’s Irish pub is an absolute must. Great food, great staff, great beer, brilliant craic and plenty of football being shown if you require it. Been there a number of times in the last 12 months over three visits and have always been made very welcome by the Finnegan’s team. I recommend the Augustiner Helles for your first pint to wash down the fish and chips! Superb.

Bartender was a bit abrupt and not particularly friendly. Good venue, though, with a good atmosphere and lots of TV's for sport

Authentic Irish Bar. Staff mostly Irish, decor Irish, atmosphere Irish. Great Guinness and great craic. Love this place. Head and shoulder better then Killians up the road!

I was here about a year ago and the staff (a man at lunch) was extremely unfriendly. I suspect homophobia as I was there with my girlfriend. We were the only guests and didn't feel comfortable at all. It seems to be a typical sports bar for middle-aged, conservative men that fulfills the stereotypes. We ate a carelessly prepared salad that hardly contained any vegetables.

If you’ve ever been to an authentic Irish Pub in Ireland you’ll immediately know the look and feel of the place as soon as you walk in. That is what occurred to me as I walked into Finnegan’s Harp. This place is the real deal complete with a toucan advertising Guinness! Sit down, order a pint, and enjoy yourself!

There seem to be several Irish bars in this town! Three of them all close by. For me this was the best one as the service was very good, lady appeared to be in charge of things was very much top class in looking after customers

Nachdem wir ca. eine halbe Stunde gewartet haben und nicht bedient wurden, sind wir wieder gegangen. Die Bedienung machte einen völlig überforderten Eindruck. Stammgäste die diese persönlich begrüßten wurden natürlich bevorzugt behandelt. Deshalb von uns keine Empfehlung.

Super cool place. My wife and I are visiting from the US and everyone speaks English. Met Shayne and Lily who are both very nice. I think we visited 5 times in 3 days and every time we went, we were greeted by Shayne, who offered us local knowledge and tips on things to do around the city. He was incredibly helpful and the staff was always pleasant and friendly. The beers are great and the Irish Breakfast was delicious. We will gladly come again next time we visit.

The garlic cheese baguette was totally dry. You didn't notice any garlic, it actually didn't taste like anything. The cola also tasted bland and stale. The English-speaking waitress was "quite nice", but her appearance and demeanor were absolutely not appropriate.

Solution: Always keep some cash on you like a sane human being And if you don’t have the patience don’t go to a pub on a Saturday night. Absolutely brilliant service as always

We were there in December and were very satisfied! The place was really great and you felt comfortable. The staff was really friendly and tried hard. As for the food - we only ordered two small snacks - they didn't really convince us!

Anyone who still knows the TV series "Cheers" can imagine what a visit to Finnigan's feels like 😊 Always very nice and present service that "picks you up" and gives you a feeling of familiarity, even if you're there for the first time . You shouldn't expect too much from the food. Burgers and fries ok, but nothing more. It's a Pub, Not a Restaurant.

Great for watching sports! The staff are fantastic.

The tall bartender with a full beard seriously asks guests to tip more when paying. I think this is an impudence. A course in customer orientation and service would be urgently needed here.

We spontaneously had lunch here and Finnegan's Harp didn't really convince us when it came to the food. We once had the fish & chips for a whopping 18.50 and once the veggie wrap with country potatoes. Neither the fish nor the breading had a great taste of its own and the homemade tartar sauce didn't add much to it either. The fries were good (but not homemade, just fries). Unfortunately, the veggie wrap was also quite boring in taste and the same applies to the country potatoes and the fries. The portion size of both dishes was absolutely fine and you were very full. The ordering service was very quick and the food came quite quickly. From then on there was no sign of the service staff until one of us finally went in to pay. Since we sat outside, I can't say much about the ambience inside.

What can you say, a super cozy, authentic Irish pub that corresponds to every cliché (in a positive sense). Breakfast is the winner. English bacon and these super delicious real English breakfast sausages. A poem with scrambled eggs and baked beans. Gladly again at any time, luckily breakfast is available all day long

Card payment only from 15 euros! Otherwise it's a great shop. Highly recommended if you have cash with you.

We sat down and when no one came we wanted to order at the bar. They said we weren't allowed to do that, someone would come. After 15 minutes, the bored staff ignoring us, we just went into the pub next few meters away. Mulligan's was better at everything. A pity.

Great ambience, good food and friendly staff

In my opinion, card payments are a common standard these days and desired by most people. Then charging a 20% surcharge when paying by card is cheeky, audacious and, for me, falls under the rip-off category. And since you always have to pay immediately, this surcharge would have been due for every order. Luckily there is another pub a few meters away that doesn't alienate its visitors so much!

Despite requests, no service was received for over 30 minutes! A waitress preferred to sit with guests rather than serve others. Impudence! Better go to the pub next door

The bartenders are extremely unfriendly and aggressive towards you. As long as you aren't ignored. Of course only English is spoken. Not customer friendly. In 2024, it will no longer be appropriate for interpersonal interactions.

Good selection of drinks, couple of the waitresses were very rude though and we don't normally make comment about that.

The bar is cool and the beer is tasty but the staff is just disgusting, we had to prepay the order as soon as our beer was brought even though we were prepared to keep sitting and buy more. very unhappy waitresses with no smiles. The bar closed 5 minutes early, even though we still had some beer and would have happily finished it in those 5 minutes without being in a rush, but they pointed to the exit. But the bar itself is lovely and the Guinness is just lovely, unfortunately we won't be going there again.

Great place in NBG for a beer and to watch a game. Perfect English and you can ask to out on your fav NFL or US team and they are happy to accommodate if they can.

Un vero pub irlandese in piena Norimberga. Stesso ambiente e trattamento e frequentato da tantissimi stranieri. Birre ottime e e ovviamente delle isole britanniche. Personale molto disponibile anche se sempre indaffarato. Sulla cucina è quella di un pub quindi non aspettatevi il top ma le birre le accompagna benissimo.
