From the outside it looks more like home-style cooking. The food was very mildly seasoned, but was very tasty. What was more irritating was the radiator that was in the guest room to heat it. Staff was also very nice.

Super tasty food, attentive service

Once upon a time... as we all know, that's how every story begins. It was honestly our favorite Indian place, we enjoyed eating there or ordering take away. But yesterday, February 1st, 2025, we felt like Indian again and since we were in Jena anyway, we went straight there and ordered takeaway. But unfortunately we found that the quality of the food had decreased very, very much. We were so excited, despite the small and narrow (squeezed together) dining room. It doesn't look the best from the outside, but that didn't bother us. Because the food tasted so delicious. But yesterday the disappointment was so great that we left the restaurant. We'd rather go to Weimar to see the competition. But there is still a plus point for the service, which was very nice and accommodating. I hope that the review is useful and that there is an impetus to improve the quality. Naan was good, curry dishes weren't great and the rice was a few hours "old" (very dry) in our opinion.

Great Fold and Friendly Personal

This is the first restaurant I visited which seems like a real Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, spicy and proper India taste food. Service is also great. The ambience is also eye pleasing and overall I will recommend this restaurant if you want to eat authentic Indian dishes without ruining your mood. The food is prepared according to your convenience ( for Indian - spicy, medium and for Germans/ others - less spicy ) etc.

The Indian restaurant is highly recommended, the staff is super friendly and the food was not only delicious but also of sufficient portion size ☺️

Good authentic Indian restaurant. Large selection of dishes including vegetarian. Nice ambience. Personally, I find the benches to sit on a bit too short and a bit slippery. Food convinced me. Although I'm usually rather critical when it comes to Indian. It's often too "flowery" for me. Delicious food and fair prices. Delicious. I'd love to come back. Clear recommendation.

We happened to go to this restaurant for dinner today. We ordered biryani, even though the prices were too high, but we didn't like the food. The dish looked like something from yesterday or the day before yesterday. The behavior of the employees was also unpleasant. In a lifetime, I haven't encountered such a restaurant with such crappy service was my experience that I would share with others. Now I'm sick and we got diarrhea

I absolutely love Bollywood! The delivery service is fast and reliable, especially in this cold winter weather. The quality of the food is outstanding – fresh, aromatic and always perfectly prepared. This restaurant is at the top of my list and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I have found advertising in my mailbox several times from this provider, even though this is not desired and is written on the mailbox. I still ordered here once and wasn't convinced. Delivery time too long, food not warm enough and taste below average. I won't order here again

Ordered lamb biryani takeaway but was horrified to see end result served up, which resembled runny paella. I asked if he could boil the water off but he refused, then another staff joined in and became shouty and sweary. They claimed that was what biryani looked like even after I showed them scores of photos on google of what I had a right to expect. I asked for my money back and they threatened to call the police. This was getting ridiculous so I left the dish behind and let them keep their €14.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about here! This is the third time we have been here and we are very satisfied. The food is great, the service is fast, attentive and really friendly and funny too. The food is freshly prepared and you can taste it too! We will definitely come more often 👍🏻🥰
