Highly recommended restaurant. The food is always an experience that also remains inexpensive. The service is on point and always friendly and courteous. Since it is always very full due to the things described, it is worth making a reservation.

Great ambience here with excellent service. Food quality is okay. They seem to be aware of gluten sensitivities and take necessary precautions.

From the outside it looks more like home-style cooking. The food was very mildly seasoned, but was very tasty. What was more irritating was the radiator that was in the guest room to heat it. Staff was also very nice.

Overall the curries, and yes the naans as well, were tasty and good. However, we ordered a range of 'mild' to 'very hot' and they all lacked any spice at all. They were like the Harkonens and we were the Empire demanding the spice--but ultimately they did not deliver. (Go read Dune if you don't get that reference). Again, it was overall a good experience but the variety in spice levels would make it a truly great place.

We reserved a table for today about 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately we found ourselves in front of a closed door today. On the front door it was written that from today Monday is always a day of rest. Very unfortunate

Fantastic Indian Dining Experience I love chicken tikka masala and mix girl lamb Nilgiri I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food tastes really good and isn't spicy either. There is a large and balanced selection of dishes, a lot of vegetarian, otherwise chicken and lamb. In the evening we got a free starter of 3 dips and a special bread, really tasty. The service is friendly and talented. The portions are good, not too much and not too little. Every meal comes with rice and naan bread, which makes it easy to dose. There are many Indian specialties, both in drinks and food. For example, Indian wine or tandoor dishes, which are really highly recommended! We'd love to come back.

Sehr zu empfehlen :) Sehr schönes Ambiente, man merkt wie viel Arbeit darin steckt. Die Auswahl an Essen ist groß und schreckt etwas ab, aber das Essen war super und es empfiehlt sich abermals dort einzukehren.

My visit to this restaurant was completely impressive. The food was absolutely first-class - from the starter to the dessert, every course was a culinary highlight. The staff was not only attentive and friendly, but also remarkably competent. Every wish was fulfilled immediately and the recommendations were to the point. The decor was stylish and inviting, with an atmosphere that was both elegant and cozy. It was the ideal place to enjoy an excellent meal in a relaxed environment. The food was very tasty and we were also very satisfied with our service. Waiting time for food was completely ok - about 20 minutes. We didn't get the papadam with the three sauces as a free starter, but other guests did, according to reviews. Not so bad. However, I was particularly disappointed by the following: We were simply charged for the naan bread, which according to the menu card was supposed to be served free of charge with the meal. We were also charged for 2 meals as a chicken option, even though we had taken the vegetarian option. Since my mother (older lady) went in alone to pay, I unfortunately only found out about this after we had already left. With two women and a child you can do it...

The food was good, and the service was top-notch, with staff being so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of cozy and elegant. A must-visit! 👍

The food was good. The Channa Masala and the Raijta were very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't like the naan. I've eaten this much better. Unfortunately, the salad was drowned in sauce, which tasted nothing special. The ambience is ok. The constantly changing light in the lower guest room is a bit tiring. The service is attentive. The prices are very good. The selection is huge. The waiting times were short.

We occasionally go to Naan n Curry and the food is always very good. The best are the lassis, the various naan breads and the paneer dishes. 👍🏻

We went to “Naan n Curry” on Friday evening without a reservation and were very satisfied! All the employees were super friendly and accommodating. There was a small appetizer and a schnapps on the house, both very tasty! The dishes we ordered came very quickly and we all really enjoyed them. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again!

We went to Naan n Curry on a Saturday evening in Spring 24. The restaurant was well attended. The order was taken quickly and drinks and appetizers were served promptly. However, it took almost an hour until the main course. That's why there are only 3 stars for service. What can be said about the food is that it was very tasty and the portions were appropriate. After the long break it was almost too much for me. Paneer was excellent and the sauces were spicy, just as hoped. All in all, a recommendation, even for vegetarians, if you are traveling in Saalfeld.

A special experience, you don't find Indian restaurants too often. The meal was a special treat. The variety of spices was simply great. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. The ambience had a very small flaw, but the restaurateurs can't do anything about that. This traditional restaurant doesn't fit in well with the Indian atmosphere.

If you want to try something different, this is the right place for you. An alternative to schnitzel and steak. If you're not familiar with Indian food, keep in mind that there is no beef or pork here! The dishes we chose tasted good, it's just a matter of taste 😉 There are also a few vegetarian dishes on the menu. It was very crowded and very warm, you should reserve in advance. Service was okay.

This is how gastronomy can be - very good food, fair prices, very courteous service and that too 7 days a week. So it works after all ☺️. Very good “Indian” in Saalfeld/Saale in the pedestrian zone. Get a place outside without registering. Due to the quality and the associated popularity, it certainly doesn't hurt to book in advance if you want to go to this restaurant. We felt that we were very valued as guests and the food was delicious. We will go there more often 👍

We went there for dinner for the first time on New Year's Eve. It's a matter of taste. Everyone as they like it. We want to try it out. Starter was great. Main course went like this. But one thing didn't work at all. Rosé wine was warm and the intermediate...ouzo too. So dear staff. You absolutely have to change that. The service wasn't that nice either.

Das Essen war super lecker, trotz alles Skepsis im Vorhinein für den zu erwartenden fremdländischen Geschmack. Alles frisch zubereitet. Ich war auf das angenehmste überrascht und werde gerne wiederkommen.

Im traditionreichen Restaurant "Das Loch" in Saalfeld befindet sich dieses indische Restaurant. Sehr schön eingerichtet,xentsprechend der Natunalität. Das Personal ist sehr nett, nur haben sie später nicht mehr nachgefragt, ob wir noch was möchten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde sehr ansprechend serviert.

Essen war sehr lecker. Ambiente entspricht nicht meiner Erwartung und erinnert eher an ein Wirtshaus. Service hat sehr lange gebraucht bis wir Getränke bestellen konnten. Kartenzahlung war an diesem Tag nicht möglich. WC könnte etwas sauberer sein. Trotzdem würden wir wiederkommen.

Den Inder in der Saalfelder Innenstadt habe ich schon mehrmals besucht. Das Restaurant ist Innen wie außen sehr gemütlich. Die Kellner sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Allerdings dauert es ehe man sein Essen hat. Ich kann nicht beurteilen woran es liegt am Personal, an der Organisation oder der Küche. Zeit sollte man also mitbringen.

Tolles Restaurant, Indisches Wohlfühl Ambiente hervorgerufen durch Wandgemälde, Beleuchtung und Musik im Einklang mit Hervorragendem Essen zu guten Preisen und perfektem Service, absolut zu empfehlen, ich war schon ein paar Mal dort und es lohnt sich immer wieder. Macht weiter so.

Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Mittagskarte. Super schmackhaftes Essen zu einem fairen Preis und ausreichend zum richtig satt werden.

Das Essen ist super lecker und man wird definitiv satt. Es ist auch für jeden etwas dabei. Große Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen. Das Personal ist nett, allerdings wäre es schön gewesen wenn öfter mal jemand geschaut hätte ob noch Getränke bestellt werden wollen. Das Einzige was mich wirklich gestört hat war die laute Musik. Das fande ich etwas unpassend und hat es schwer gemacht sich am Tisch zu unterhalten. Musik ist super, aber bitte leiser. Der Gastraum ist barrierefrei, zu den Toiletten kommt man allerdings nur über eine Treppe. Ich habe dort keinen wickeltisch entdecken können.

War schon besser, haben ewigkeiten auf die Bedienung gewartet, dann noch einmal auf die Getränke und dann noch mal ne Stunde auf das falsche esse, aber geschmeckt hat es.

Das Essen schmeckt Traumhaft gut und man spürt das es mit Liebe und Leidenschaft zubereitet wurde.

Das Restaurant Naan n Curry ist von außen nicht als indisches Restaurant erkennbar. Es gab einen schönen Freisitz. Das Essen war sehr geschmackvoll und hübsch angerichtet. Ein Besuch wert.

Hallo Fans der indischen Küche, ich wage beurteilen zu können, durch meine Erfahrungen dieser Küche,wie meine Beurteilung ausfällt. Die Ausstattung im Aussen- und Innenbereich begeistert. Die Küche ist Spitze. Ein großes Lob dem Koch. Sehr vielfältiges Angebot und immer frisch zubereitet. Als Gast einzelne Variationen mit dem Serviceteam abzustimmen, ist problemlos. Das Personal ist sehr kundenfreundlich, korrekt und ausreichend schnell. Auf all meine Fragen zum Essen oder Getränken habe ich immer eine sachkundige Auskunft bekommen. Wir gehen sehr gerne im "Naan N Curry" Essen und es schmeckt immer toll. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ein- oder zweimal kam es vor, dass wir etwas länger warten mussten, aber im Normalfall geht es zügig und problemlos. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls wunderbar, gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen. Von Montag bis Freitag gibt es günstige Mittagsgerichte, auch zum Mitnehmen. Bisher hat alles, was wir probiert haben, hervorragend geschmeckt und es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Speisen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ebenfalls, sehr fair und keinesfalls überteuert, vor allem für die super Qualität und die Größe der Portionen - zum Mittagessen ist das Restaurant sogar eine relativ günstige Option. Sehr zu empfehlen und immer wieder gerne!

Ich habe meinen Mädelsabend im Naan Curry wirklich sehr genossen. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und konnte uns top zu der Speisekarte beraten. Die harmonischen Wechsellichter und die ansprechende Deko gaben auch dem thüringischen Saalfeld einen Touch India. Wir haben uns als Truppe durch die Hähnchengerichte probiert und können diese nun empfehlen. 10/10 Recommend!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich und auch Vegetarier und Veganer werden hier fündig. Leider war ich nur zum Urlaub in der Gegend, dafür aber öfter hier essen. Es war immer sehr gut und ich kann und möchte das Restaurant gerne zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Sehr schön finde ich auch die Geste, mit dem Gratisgetränk zum Abschied, sowohl alkoholisch als auch nicht alkoholisch ganz nach den Bedürfnissen der Gäste.
